Early art. Again with Rock actually holding a gun with no issues! just something that's been catching my eye....even though this is Rei's much earlier art, considering his current "Twilight" character in the manga.

In the earliest drafts of Shadow and Jolt, the story took place in the future and Jolt was also a bit older. I decided against it because trying to reinvent the entire setting would've been far more ambitious than I could feasibly do as the sole artist/writer. I'd like to actually finish this comic in a reasonable time frame!
This forever unfinished sketch was meant to test what kind of tone I wanted to write in. I think it was the first time I rendered her glove clips as metal before deciding to make it a motif throughout her outfit. Poor Shadow is forever stuck floating without hands or feet. 😂

Wow! Talk about an old drawing. I think this one might be the oldest I have saved on my computer (after the purge of data from a few years ago.)
She's wearing socks. Not much else to say there, other than the Ben-Day effects in the background, stuff I was playing with.

Cute idea for fairies
Human socks as sleeping bags
Sun and Moon actually use fuzzy socks for sleeping bags in the winter
(art from a similar ask in the past)

Thinking about him (the soldier in Poynter’s Faithful Until Death painting watching an apocalypse unfold around him with horror in his eyes as he tries to keep himself standing beneath a doorway, based on an actual 19th century archeological find of a man in full soldier’s garb under a doorway at Pompeii)
