Woke: Snow White is OVERLY accepting of Darling being Apple's true love because so far, that has been one of the only things to go right in Apple's story

Seriously though, just aggressive ally mom Snow White when her daughter hasn't even fully processed she's gay yet. Snow White constantly mentions her gay friends to make Apple feel comfortable. It doesn't work. I personally headcanon that Hunter has two dads, and that's why he has both Huntsman destinies, so Snow White inviting their family over to show Apple just how cool with it she is. Snow White calling Darling her daughter in law, Apple and Darling are not dating at this point. Others like Milton Grimm and the Charming parents are kinda pissed about this turn of events but aren't saying anything because going against Snow White is crazy.

King and Queen Charming are just trying to explain how their firstborn heir really should marry first and Snow is already asking Darling when she plans to propose.

Grimm, pissed that he once again failed to predict how the story would go and thus looks like an even bigger fool, desperately suggesting that it could have been a fluke while Snow is already planning Apple and Darling's wedding.

Snow's king is just "yes dear"-ing it through all of this, he was slightly disappointed because he wanted a son in law he could spar with, but then was on board once he realized Darling is a good fighter.

All of Apple and Darling's friends have found this to be extremely funny, in part because of how anxious both had been individually about Snow White learning. Briar learned that Snow once told Apple and Darling that "the door had to stay open" when they were talking at Apple's house, and she has yet to let it go and probably never will.

You know what's funny? Darling Charming is a princess who dreams of becoming a hero. She does, but she's the least heroic hero in fairy tales. In the books it's mentioned that King White (Apple's father) never faced any real danger and is only famous for kissing Snow White and being handsome. He even has a perfectly polished sword because he never uses it.

Thinking about it, for the longest time until recently, I legit thought that Snow White was a single mom

When someone mentioned Apple having a dad, I just immediately went, "Where is it mentioned that she has a dad?"

With Raven and her dad, the Good King, he's an actual character with a personality of his own, raising Raven alone while his wife is in jail. He's only mentioned in the books as a one-off character, but he's still a pretty important figure in Raven's life.

If Apple has one, too, then what is Apple's relationship with him? Why is it less important to be in his own daughter's life than Snow indoctrinating Apple to follow her destiny?

Does he enable his wife's ideals due to being her husband? Is he against them much like Raven's dad is with the Evil Queen? Is he a Charming who's unrelated to Daring's family?

Literally, who TF is this guy?

Snow white who has certain redeemable qualities in the books and has the potential for change is considered a “horrible person”(i wouldn’t necessarily argue against it but Milton was obviously a better fit for this or if not then don’t even bother with him”

No book snow is not better then show snow.

When we first meet SW in the show it’s after WTW in which Apple comes to a realization that Raven isn’t going to be evil and she doesn’t have to be evil. So when she talks to snow she is aware of what her mother is doing is harmful. And we see snow as she is.

In the books Apple doesn’t have this knowledge. So she believes her mom completely. And this is even shown when SW does argueably one of the most manipulative tactics by Apple. SW tells Apple to just smile and Apple thinks she doesn’t understand and that she’s a bit daft.

The truth is this advice was a very calculated.

Let me explain. This is in tuota and people aren’t listening to Apple and everyone’s just arguing. And snow tells Apple to just smile and pretend everything is fine. Which Apple thinks is bad advice until she tries it and it totally works.

But let’s think about this for a minute.

What power does Apple have? Princessness (idk the actual term for it) but basically just watch princess practice and you’ll see what I mean. Apples smile and her beauty mesmerize the people around her to do her biding, especially if they’re unaware of this.

So SW, knowing full well that apples smile will bend minds told her daughter to smile and pretend nothing was wrong because she knew it would mean people would follow Apple and this follow destiny.

Is Snow White All That Bad as a Mom?

I get why, because of how pushy Snow White was to Apple and how manipulative and obsessive she was in general, it would make sense to see her as an abusive mother who doesn't care about Apple unless it'sabout their destiny. Yet I choose to believe otherwise. Because not only is she actually sweet and motherly in the book, we do see her wanting to hear from Apple and was shown to be happy to see Apple and embrace her daughter at the end of Dragon Games.

My headcannon is that Snow White is only ever sweet and loving when it comes Apple, while she is, in her core, manipulative, competitive, and self centered. She puts up a facade of being the kind and perfect Snow White in public, while behind closed doors can be very cold and two face. The only person who see her for who she truly is (and is comfortable enough to be) is The Evil Queen.

Snow White loves her daughter, thus is who Snow White is not afraid to be genuinely kind hearted and warm towards. This would lead to Apple aspired to be the kind of Snow White she believes her mother to be because Snow was that loving to her growing up. Snow's why, despite being selfish, Apple developed a sweet demeanor, always looking out for her friends well being and making sure she helped someone because that's not just what Snow Whites do, but what her mother inspired her to do. However after confronting and releasing the Evil Queen and seeing her mother do questionable things in Dragons Game, is why Apple replies: Wow, Mira was right. We are different. Because imagine being the kind of person based on who you believed your parent was, only for them to be almost nothing from what you imagined.

So I reread EAH: Storybook of Legends recently and there's a conversation between Apple and Raven where they're talking about logistics of their story.

At the start of the conversation, Raven states that her mom was Snow White's stepmother, but the Dragon Games episodes (and other resources) confirm that Snow and EQ were in school together. Which is wildly uncomfortable to think about. Even if EQ is older than Snow, that still makes her at least 17-ish years younger than Snow's parents.

"I hate the theory that Apple and Raven were switched at birth, because it goes against the story themes-" well I hate it because I don't get why people use Apple's and Evil Queen's hair colors as a proof.

Apple is obviously blonde, but Evil Queen? I saw how teen Evil Queen looked like in Class of Classics, I looked carefully at the young Snow White & Evil Queen flashback in Dragon Games, and easily concluded that Evil Queen's hair is nowhere near the blonde spectrum. That hair is clearly light blue.

"b-but Apple is blonde and Snow White has black hair-" then that must mean her dad is blonde! Case solved!
