Luce Jubilee 2025 Mascot 🇻🇦
A few days ago, the Vatican showed for the first time the official mascot of the Jubilee of 2025 and the Osaka 2025 Expo for the Holy See in pure anime style and it is called Luce (Light in Italian).
I honestly love her design and couldn't help but make a fanart of her. She looks so adorable that it makes me want to hug her. 😍

Watched Hideo Kojima: Connecting Worlds, which is unfortunately little more than a lightweight EPK for Kojima Productions, interspersing moody shots of the gaming auteur brooding in Tokyo alleyways with testimonials from talking heads both illustrious (Mamoru Oshii, Shinya Tsukamoto) and less so (Grimes). Presumably due to bad blood with Konami, there's barely any mention of Metal Gear, let alone stuff like Snatcher. The one interesting revelation was how profoundly Kojima was affected by a childhood visit to Osaka's Expo '70, a futuristic showcase for Japan's Metabolist architecture movement. There's probably a thesis topic in there for somebody.

Tumblr media
Another collaboration Tamagotchi Original! Bandai Japan has announced that they’ve collaborated with the Osaka Kansai Expo to deliver two unique Tamagotchi Original’s. The Osaka Kansai Expo is an international exhibition held every five years where nations showcase their lates and best inventions and innovations across a wide range of industries. The next exhibit is scheduled for Sunday, April 13th, 2025 through Monday, October 13th, 2025.
MYAKU-MYAKU is the official mascot of the Osaka Kansai Expo, which is present on both shells.
Tumblr media
The first shell titled MYAKU-MYAKU Comic Book looks like the comic book shells we’ve seen int eh past but in red, white, and blue and based on MYAKU-MYAKU. Super cute, and features P1 programming.
Tumblr media
The second shell is titled MYAKU-MYAKU Neon, which features a dark blue sparkly shell and some neon graphics and the Expo 2025 logo along with Osaka by the buttons. Love this one, and it features P2 programming.
Both shells will be available for purchase on Saturday, September 7th, 2024.
