Going on a tangent about Hiropuri ep 49 (Cure Sky and the Strongest Power) and why Sora and Mashiros relationship is so powerful
Whew okay no matter what I do even months later I can’t stop thinking about this scene. I don’t know if I was overthinking this, but Mashiro fainting first might not have just been cause she’s physically weaker than Sora, but also the fact that she’s the precure of light.
Skearhead talks about how Undergu energy is like ‘poison’ to them because they’re people of light. Since Mashiro is literally the precure of light, it affects her the most. Idk I just thought this was neat. My friend and I actually discussed this and they talked about how the Sky can exist in darkness, but a Prism cannot which was a very interesting way of seeing it.
And then there’s Sora’s absolute desperation when Skearhead was pretty much about to kill Mashiro. Her voice was getting hoarse already with the Undergu energy poisoning her, but it just… broke after that point. (Her actress is phenomenal!!) She was screaming and honestly practically sounded on the verge of TEARS as she was desperately trying to get up but falling due to the darkness. Yet she kept trying to get up and kept begging Skearhead to stop. The one thing Sora was so afraid of back in episode 5 (I think it was), was Mashiro getting hurt or her possibly even losing Mashiro due to her new status as a pretty cure. She learned to accept Mashiro as a teammate and work together with her to protect the ones they love. However those feelings had to have resurfaced in this moment. The thing she feared the most was happening and she was powerless to stop it. Powerless to save the one she loves most.
That’s why absorbing the Undergu energy was so appealing, as terrifying as it clearly was for her. She was clearly reluctant- hell even the Empress told her not to do it- but before being taken over, she shakily says Mashiro’s name one last time. Saving Mashiro was the only thing that mattered to her at that moment.
Even after absorbing the energy, she was very impressively fighting to not let it take full control of her. However its influence was still taking a toll on her, as she (rightfully) charged at Skearhead, fully enraged. However, she immediately puts that rage on hold as Skearhead drops Mashiro, so instead she turns back and flies down TOWARDS THE POISON to save Mashi first. If that’s not love then love isn’t real.
Anyway, after that Sky does eventually succumb to the darkness and Skearhead takes over her body. However Prism forces herself up through her own pain. Skearhead immediately charges for her and yet… Prism stands there. She stands there because she knows Sky won’t hurt her no matter what. She stands there because she believes Sora has the strength and will to fight the darkness off. She is so confident, she doesn’t move an inch.
And it works! She gets through to Sora in this way, as Sky desperately holds back her attack as to not hurt her. She calms down and Prism holds out her hands. Her power of light appears, her ‘Prism Shine’, destroying the darkness within Sky and bringing her back.
To Sora, Mashiro is her light. The light that shines in the darkness no matter how rough things get. She’s always there to support her and lift her up.
And after this, Prism warmly welcomes Sky back and Sky warmly tells Prism she’s back it’s just so sweet. Their love is pure and strong. Unrivaled. Stronger than any darkness that may surround them. Their love (and Prisms light) even healed the Empress’ wound. The bond between Sky and Prism- Sora and Mashiro- was the strongest power of all.
Their love is the strongest power, after all.

Hirogaru Sky Final Impressions (5/5)
Honestly, what were they going to do with those two weeks after 48 episodes? Have us wait until WonPre's broadcast? Yea right, lol
So the 20th installment of Precure is now officially finished and it feels both great and a little bit sad to say that since the bar has been readjusted quite high, we will probably need the 25th anniversary to get another season as awesome and well-written as HiroPre. [/harsh]
But that will be for something to worry about in the next five years.
So first, that finale!
Pretty much 5(ish) of the 6 last episodes was a whole arc dedicated to the most engaging lore Precure has ever given us to date.
Cure Noble is definitely entering the league of legacy Cures and perhaps as the one with the best story as well. How she went from princess-sovereign to becoming the very first Precure (in this universe, anyways) to helping pave a way for peace with her nemesis to laying out the foundation for the Cures who will succeed her in the future.
Yeap, Ellee-chan may have gotten a nice age-up bonus so that we can see her embrace her destiny and actually converse in something other than baby talk.
But it's more accurate to say that Ellee-chan/Cure Majesty's character arc is really Princess Elleelain/Cure Noble's instead.
Which is totally fine with me. Not only was Elleelain super interesting as a hero/protagonist in her own era but Kaiserin was...dear god.
Dear god, when have we gotten a twist that was this good and this dark by the series' standards? I felt we haven't touched this level of grim writing since Heartcatch and that was my first Precure season ever.
But seriously, it's impossible not to sympathize with Kaiserin and appreciate how much she contributed to the plot as well as this season's message that power is not what makes a hero, but the strength of one's heart that does.
Even her traitorous tutor, Skearhead, said she had what it took to become a hero (and maybe even Precure? oooh~), which just makes her fall into darkness more tragic.
But thankfully, she never lost her kindness and compassion, which was what ultimately allowed her to not only be saved but her wounds to finally heal after hundreds of years of suffering from the pain of betrayal Skearhead had inflicted on her.
And that her generals, who all turned over a new leaf, came back to the Undergu Empire to loyally serve her and make sure she isn't alone...
Good! This is so satisfying, I couldn't have asked for anything better! Kaiserin deserves her happiness after all she's been through!
But of course, that's not all because no Precure finale is complete without the last episodes dishing out the best combat scenes of the entire season and did it deliver, alright.
Uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-HUH!
The animation was absolutely stellar and not so overdone that it'd look more gaudy than cool. coughDeliPaPrecough
Moreover, the teamwork is what really sold the animation. As it should because Precure is all about that team effort brought on by personal growth, not a one-man show.
I loved how Wing, representing wisdom, was the one everyone trusted to get that barrier back up because it is a mechanism that he researched and developed to help everyone. It proves that boys don't need to fit into a specific mold of masculinity or genius to be a hero because in the end, those things don't matter. It's being true to yourself, your beliefs and your dreams and what you choose to do with those abilities that counts.
I loved how Butterfly, who is physically the strongest in the group, always takes on the tougher tasks such as facing the army of tedious mooks to let those younger than her forge a path ahead. She never forgets her responsibility as an adult to protect the kids but she also encourages them to move forward because she fully believes in them like a good adult would.
I loved how Majesty comes to understand that though she's meant to inherit Cure Noble's will and power and position as Skyland's princess, it's not her destiny to inherit Elleelain's loneliness. And the whole reason that she started out as a baby but was able to grow and become Precure was because she was surrounded by the right people who brought out that potential in her. For Ellee-chan, being with her friends and fighting alongside them was the bigger, more important destiny than her duty was.
Finally, the star duo of the show.
Sky was given stronger MC vibes than the other cast members but you can't deny that she wouldn't have gotten this far without Prism by her side.
Sora's idea of what it means to be hero expanded a lot because she became friends with Mashiro.
She has come to treasure Mashiro so much that when she was on the brink of losing her best friend, she let Skearhead corrupt her in order to have enough power to save that best friend. She was willing to sacrifice herself for someone important to her, which in a way, can be seen as an act of heroism (but only as a last resort, plz do not attempt).
And even then, Sky kept resisting from being taken over. Prism didn't even flinch when Sky aimed a punch at her. That's how much Mashiro believes in Sora, in the hero that Sora is. That even if Sora accepted darkness into herself to do the right thing, she won't ever let that darkness consume her into doing the wrong thing.
And the fact that it was Prism who had the ability to not only purify Sky but also heal Kaiserin's centuries-old wound. She's come a long way herself from the girl who used to think she was talentless, who didn't believe she had anything special going for her.
"You are good as you are now, Mashiro-san."
What Sora said was true until the very end. Mashiro didn't ever need to change. She was already good enough and she was always going to become even better than how she started out because she was always being inspired and supported by those around her and challenging herself to do things she initially hesitated on doing.
Now she's continually drawing new stories, even winning an award for one. Even her Prism Shot evolved and multiplied as an attack and it's all because she learned to believe in herself because all her friends believed in her.
This is essentially what sets Precure apart from the others, what makes it the major name it is in modern day mahou shoujo.
I cannot begin to describe how glad I am that the staff at Toei reinforced those aspects of friendship as well as the celebration of individualism in a milestone year. But I can definitely say with confidence that we can expect to see more well into the franchise's 30th anniversary as long they don't forget these two very crucial things.
As for me, I think this will be the last time I blog Precure on a "regular" basis.
I'll still continue to watch cuz hey, there's no reason for me to stop yet.
(and all the more reason to not stop if Satoru and Daifuku become the next two male Cures in WonPre OMGI'MSOGONNAJINXTHISAREN'TIBWUAHAHAHAHA!!!)
But my priorities have shifted so I gotta tend to those foremost. And as much as I enjoy the show, I feel like I'm always saying the same stuff over and over again anyway, just in different variations of it.
(also, something about WonPre tells me the next four years will be filled with hit-or-miss seasons so meh, I'd rather just follow it leisurely than get too invested and then disappointed)
On another note, I do have some personal rankings that I'd like to post some day. I was going to do it for the 20th anniversary but didn't have time to cuz life got way too hectic and busy but yea, eventually I'll have them up.
Just for fun, y'know.
Ok, that is all.
Thank you, my hero girls and boy! You made this season so wonderful hahahaha, good luck, WonPre for me and I can't be grateful enough for it.
Thank you for a beautiful anniversary! Let's aim for the next!
25th year with 100+ Precure!
Let's gooooooooooooo!!!

WOW. I was NOT expecting that to be what was meant by the “Strongest Power” in the title. I’ll admit it lasted kinda short, but the build up to it, the design, the animation, the meaning of its resolution…
how long has it even been since we’ve had a dark version of a Cure?
On the other hand however, kinda expected it, but did not like that everyone but Sky and Prism got conveniently pushed out of the “final battle.” Because I don’t think whatever’s happening next episode has as much importance as defeating Skearhead/Darkhead (…..that name…..)

Worried chatter and cries of children filled the air as Battamonda helped escort the citizens of Sky Land through the tunnel that led to Earth. Attacks were happening all over, so it was his job to get them to safety. And while he knew that they should be the only thing on his mind, he can’t help but only think about you.
You and the other Pretty Cure were currently in the middle of the final battle. He knew how strong the Empress and Skearhead were, so he was worried sick. It made him feel even worse that he didn’t know how you were doing.
You and Battamonda had formed a special bond over the past few months. Ever since he was reformed, you were always so kind to him. You two related to each other, being the same age and all. It wasn’t long until he fell for you. However, due to his pride and fear of rejection, he didn’t dare say a word.
“That’s everyone.” Said Captain Shalala. Battamonda jumped in surprise, since he wasn’t paying attention.
“Oh, okay.” He said, putting his hands in his pockets, trying to act natural. “So now what?”
“Now, we wait.”
Battamonda sighed. That was going to be the hard part.
~~~~
Sitting cross legged on a rock, Battamonda groaned impatiently. He swears it’s been at least three hours. Though in reality, it hasn’t even been one. The boredom from waiting gave him the opportunity to think. His eyes closed, and not to his surprise, the first thing that came to mind was you.
Before being reformed, the only thing he payed attention to was your strength. You were older and tougher than the other cures, and had no problem beating his Ranborgs. You had even come close to beating him to a pulp multiple times. And though he wouldn’t say so, he was impressed.
You also always made his work more bearable. Working at the food truck wasn’t his idea of fun, and it got tiring and boring pretty quick. But once you found out that he worked there, you made an effort to go and order a few times a week. You were always so kind and always talked to him. Days like those were the highlight of his entire month.
You filled up his thoughts so much, that sometimes he would just stare up at his ceiling of his crappy apartment thinking about you. The cracks and chipped paint would morph into pleasant daydreams about the two of you, which he’s fallen asleep to multiple times. It makes him feel embarrassed and ashamed, but it’s something he can’t help.
Battamonda’s eyes shot open. Realizing that he’d been doing it yet again, he gently collided his fist to his forehead in a way of scolding himself.
“You alright?” Captain Shalala asked.
Battamonda blushed, forgetting her presence. “Yeah, I’m good.”
The sound of slow footsteps and grass crunching under shoes caught both their attention. Battamonda jumped to his feet, eagerly waiting to see if it was what he hoped it was.
To his delight, you and the rest of the Pretty Cure made your way over to them. You were all pretty beat up; covered in bruises and scratches.
“(name)! You’re back!” He said, jogging over to you.
“Yeah, and everything’s alright now. Skearhead’s gone, and the Empress is reformed!” You said.
“That’s great!” He said, trying to clearly express his joy; something he’s been working on.
An awkward silence enveloped the two of you. Battamonda scratched the back of his neck, wanting desperately to say something to you.
Captain Shalala observed the vibe of the situation, and smiled to herself. “C’mon kids, let’s give them some space.” She whispered to the others, ushering them away. As this occurred, Battamonda started panicking internally, as he knew there was no backing out now.
He cleared his throat, and attempted a brave face. Though his twitching eyebrows and slightly quivering lip were quite noticeable. “So.” He unintentionally shouted. He cleared his throat again, before continuing, this time quieter. “You’re pretty cool. I really like you.” He said casually. Almost too casually.
You blushed a bit at the compliment. His tone suggested what he meant it platonically, though you hoped he didn’t. Nonetheless, you returned the “friendly” words. “Oh, thanks! You’re cool too!”
Battamonda opened his eyes, thinking for a second that it was over. Though one look at your face told him that you didn’t quite get it. He sighed, bothered that he had to actually try at a confession. “Ugh. No, (name). That’s not what I meant.” He pouted childishly, turning his head up and away from you.
“Oh, I’m sorry. What did you mean?” You asked, making yourself play dumb. You refused to believe that he meant what you hoped he meant.
“I mean I like you! You know, when you humans do that thing where you kiss and stuff.” He internally cringed that the only example he could give was that.
“Oh.” You blushed, your hopes coming true. You decided that you didn’t want to hold your feelings in any longer. After all, Battamonda just poured his out. So it was only fair. “Well, I like you too.”
Battamonda turned back to you. He couldn’t find any words, so instead he smirked bashfully and gave a small chuckle.
You felt another moment of awkward silence creeping over you, so you broke it before it became too long. “You know, we could ‘kiss and stuff’ if you want to.” You said, getting brave.
Battamonda’s face and ears turned red, complimenting his green hair. “What? I mean-yeah, sure.” He tried acting calm and cool.
You smiled, and grabbed both sides of his unzipped leather jacket. With a gentle tug, you pulled him towards you, and kissed him. Battamonda was not prepared, despite believing he was. His eyes remained wide open the first few seconds, before following your lead, and closing them.
After a few moments, you pulled away. You released his jacket from your grasp, and moved one of your hands to hold his. Battamonda, let you, though being very inexperienced and unprepared, his hold was looser than yours.
“We should go. We have to get the citizens back into Sky Land.” You said, leading him back to where the others were.
“Yeah. Let’s go.” Battamonda gave a minimal response. So many thoughts were swarming his mind, and he didn’t quite know what to do with himself. So he just followed you.
A smile crept onto your face. You didn’t expect that this would be how the two of you got together, but you were happy. Based on your observations, you’d have to teach Battamonda a lot about being in a relationship. But you didn’t mind. You just braced yourself for the bumpy, yet fun road ahead.
Hirogaru Sky! Precure Episode 49 Review - The Sky Turns Dark
Saying that this episode was intense is an understatement in itself. If there is a word that can describe something beyond intense, that is what this episode is. I was seriously glued to my chair and my eyes were glued to the screen to see what would happen next.
Skearhead really was the true villain all along. His true identity is Darkhead, the incarnation of Underg Energy. I didn’t expect the energy to be sentient! Apparently, he was the one who killed the Emperor and altered the Empress’s memories so that she’d be the perfect vessel that could easily be corrupted by the energy. Also, remember when he said he loved the Empress? That was the biggest lie of them all. Yikes. The Empress was the biggest victim in all of this mess. I’m glad that she was able to be reasoned with and accepted Sky’s friendship. However, I was right in that Skearhead was this show’s most dangerous villain. Since his debut, I could tell there was something sinister about him with how he reacted very little to situations and how he behaved around others. Him being the twist villain was not in my bingo card but it felt like it was to be expected. Do I like the twist? Honestly, yes. However, I disliked the fact that it made Empress Underg’s importance diminish as she was just manipulated and misguided the entire time. Her beef with Ellee? All because of lies. I pity her the most, honestly.
You know SHIT is going down when an anime starts using the “go on without me” scenario where companions stay behind to let the MC move ahead with an important mission. Wing and Butterfly stay behind the first stage and then Majesty in the second stage. They all do this so that Sky and Prism can rescue the Empress. I liked how Wing and Butterfly were the other main duo aside from Sky and Prism, so it’d make sense that they’d stay together. Titanic Rainbow has to happen after all. I was surprised with Majesty staying behind. Given how significant Majesty is to the story, I thought she’d have a role in defeating Skearhead, but the plot favors Prism as she and Sky are the duo. However, it’s also nice to see that the writers didn’t make it so that she’d be the spotlight hog and was faithful to making Sky the MC.
Oh boy, the Dark Cure Sky segment was crazy. I didn’t think someone would try to corrupt her. Her design is sick, though. The sole right black wing reminds me a lot of Sephiroth from Final Fantasy VII. I think that despite her being infused with Underg Energy, she’s still sane and conscious and is using the power to fight back against Darkhead until it gets too much for her to handle. Despite my amazement with how it went out, it really did come out of left field. Where was the foreshadowing? It would’ve been cooler if Skearhead wanting to use Sky as a vessel was hinted throughout the third act of the series, but alas, I shouldn’t expect too much.
I do like that Prism’s role as Sky’s light plays importance here. Ever since they met, Mashiro has been Sora’s light in a way. She’s her first friend. She’s the reason why Sky is able to fight with others. When Sora faltered and was at her lowest, it was Mashiro’s encouragement that pulled her out of that funk once and for all. She’s Sora’s gentle light and plays that role significantly. Prism Shine even plays a role in ridding of the Underg Energy within Sky.
Anyways, it seems that Darkhead’s true form is of a giant snake and all five Precures have reunited to take down the big bad once and for all. I get the feeling next week’s episode is going to feel like a grand finale. I can’t wait to see what’s going to happen during and after the last battle. What are your thoughts on this episode?
i really like how much emphasis is put on figuring out the villain's thoughts in hirogaru sky. that was one of the things i really loved about huggto, too, but i think its extra good when like. undergru & skyland are two warring empires. but like, we see kaboton make friends with a ramen cart tender, we see battamonda go to work & minoton's code of honor prevents him from attacking. so like, obviously skearhead must not be completely evil, right? he has someone he loves, so he's capable of kindness. but that means he chose to destroy the city DESPITE that. or possibly even BECAUSE of it.
because sora loves her friends and loves her city, she wants to protect everyone. because skearhead loves his queen, he wants everyone else to disappear. it's not surprising that would stick with sora.
#aster speaks#hirogaru sky precure#sorry to all my followers but it is Precure Sunday#if i had more spoons id def draw more skypre comics i think all the characters are so much
Hirogaru Sky episode 47 thoughts. Very spoiler warning! There are three episodes left and a lot happened this week to set it up. Image to hide the spoilers better.
So like picking up where we left off from before last week Elle has been gifted new power from Ellelain causing her to grow up. Then after Ellelain explained she did not know why the Undergu empire cut relations with Skyland she died, so now we can't even question her.
Then they fought Skearhead who sacrificed his life for Empress Undergu. The cures through the battle tried to get him to talk so they didn't have to kill him, but there was nothing that could be done. So he dramatically fades away while lamenting he couldn't keep protecting the empress. Two deaths in one episode.
Then Empress Undergu gets so mad she leaves the hideout despite not being fully healed from a previous episode's fight. When the cures ask her to explain she says that Cure Noble (The legendary Precure/Princess Ellelain who had called peace with Undergu Empire in the past) betrayed them by attacking her father. Considering her father isn't around anymore we can assume Cure Noble killed him. So... We end the episode ends with the cures wondering if they were the bad guys.
This episode was amazing! I love it when the show gets overdramatic and emotional. The fight was exciting, both death scenes were sad and the twist was a shock. I am curious about what they will do next and excited for the finale! There is one thing though, as emotional as Skearhead's death was, especially when seeing the reactions of others towards it, I think it would have been a lot better if we had seen more of him throughout the season.
The lack of villain scenes besides, show up, summon monster, disappear is definitely the biggest flaw of the season overall. I think I agree in the sense that you don't need a new scene with them every single week especially when you want to focus on the cures but not having any moments for the audience to try and piece together their motives or see a glimpse of their everyday makes moments like redemption arcs and villain deaths not feel as impactful... On the other hand the lack of villain moments and the longer time with the cures has made me love them more. Like this team of cures is amazing, they got me to care about all of them equally instead of obsessing over a singular one like I usually do! It's definitely a flaw but it helps strengthen another aspect so idk how to feel. I at least hope we see more villain moments next season in Wonderful.
Those were my thoughts, bye!
Current thoughts on Hirogaru Sky PreCure
Alrighty since we're almost done with Hirogaru Sky PreCure with 5 episodes left and about to go into the 2024 season, I should probably talk about my current thoughts about it before we get to the finale.
Pros: -The main cast is definitely the main highlight of the show. The characters bounce off each other very well with some great dynamics and interactions. Mashiro/Cure Prism and Ageha/Cure Butterfly are both my favorites; I loved Mashiro's development and I related a lot to her writer struggles (ie. writer's block) as someone who writes a lot of papers in college, and Ageha is a very fun character and I loved her every time she appeared on screen. I don't want to say goodbye to them when the show ends ;__; (Sora/Cure Sky and Tsubasa/Cure Wing are both great too) -The Cure designs are great (especially Prism, who has one of my favorite designs in the franchise). Now I hope Atsushi Saito does another season in a few years because his style is too good -The transformations are some of the best in the franchise (my favorite is Butterfly's, Yuu Yoshiyama my beloved)
Cons: -I have like plenty of issues with Elle/Majesty (and not just because she's a baby since I'm not a huge fan of babies lmao) but mostly about her development when she became a Cure. It's strange that they had her regressing back into a baby instead of permanently becoming a teenager (aka the Ha-chan route) and it hinders her development. Being a baby and such who rarely talks 90% of the time, she still gets very few lines even as Majesty. Honestly she might be sandwiched between both Earth & La Mer for my least favorite midseason Cures, which is a shame because her design is great :/ -The lack of focus on the villains. I do understand the writers' motive to have the show be viewed through the Cures' viewpoints that we don't know the villains' true purpose for kidnapping Elle and their war with Skyland but it sometimes hurts the show more. Also good god Skearhead 💀 -Some lack of worldbuilding with Skyland. but I expect a heavy lore drop near the end (but hopefully not very rushed/last minute like Tropical Rouge) Anyway, even with some of its glaring flaws and may not be the best especially for an anniversary season, I enjoy it a lot and it's still a top 10 season for me, 8.5/10. Really hoping that they end on a high note with the finale 🙏🏻
Hands down one of the best precure eps!
“Is he even human?” Lmao the fact Mino has been working out at the gym every day alongside people and no one ever stopped to wonder why a dude with a bullhead is there is hilarious. Love that he’s more interested in fighting strong opponents and getting stronger than hurting innocent civilians.
Unfortunately, he’s a little too nice and Empress Undergu wants Ellee badly. We get introduced to the appropriately Skearhead who’s got no such empathy for humanity.
Kinda had a feeling something bad would happen to Ellee today since there were so many flags about being together with the cures and Sora saying she wanted to protect her forever etc. Also was that the first complete sentence we’ve heard Ellee speak? Saying she hated Ageha had me dying.
Skearhead really outclassed all 4 of the girls. If that’s the type of power that the empire has got, beating them is not going to be easy at all. Even with the arrival of Cure Majesty who looks as regal and beautiful as you’d expect, I think the cures will need more help.
Can’t wait to see where things go from here. LOVE THIS REFERENCE
i squeaked so hard i scared my dad OMGOMGOMGOGMGOGMGOGMGMOMG GUYS ITS FINALLY HAPPENING SHE LOOKS SO COOL GRRRRRRR
cant wait for the next episode aaaaa
she looks so badass ughhhh but the thing is, even if it makes the scene super cool you gotta wonder "yeah i know shes a magical being, can barely be considered a human, but how does she know how to control such power easily?" i feel like im nitpicking cuz i mean elle-chan is literally a miracle child right? at least from what i remember. a child who does miracles and brings happiness and stuff but this? this isnt really a miracle its a person who really knows how to fight (sorta...) thats something you gotta learn...
uh idk idk shes super cool but i feel like she should have struggled more lmaooo or what would be very cool would be that maybe... elle-chan has always been a pretty cure but didnt know how to get back to her cure form before that episode? which makes her a REALLY old soul that put up fights before, which is the reason how she could 'fight' so well here maybe the fact that shes a reincarnation was already said before (probs did but i totally forgot lmaoo), but honestly i like the idea that she's the reincarnation of a precure and she still remembers how to fight smth like that or something that i'd like to see in future episodes would be her struggling to really control her powers. like we saw her throw immense energy at skearhead (i absolutely love him and his design) here, but maybe thats all she can really do. what if she learns to vary her attacks over the show? control how much energy to throw at her enemies? things like that. I dont want cure majesty to be a skilled fighter without any explanations why.
but anyways overall pretty good episode cant wait for cure majesty to officially join the gang! :D
After the cliffhanger at the end, 300% Skearhead is responsible for the differences between how Ellelain remembers her birthday and how Kaiserin remembers it.
Ellelain:
- Is visited by Kaiser and Kaiserin and given a handmade doll as a present. She's overjoyed and Kaiserin is happy Ellelain likes the present.
- Ellelain still has the doll with her even in the spirit realm.
Kaiserin:
- Visits Ellelain and gives her a handmade doll as a present. Ellelain then makes a strange face.
She has her guards enter the room and she kills Kaiser right in front of Kaiserin. She tries to kill Kaiserin too but Spearhead intervenes and takes Kaiserin back to Undergu.
So my current theory is that Spearhead did something to the doll, so he could briefly mind-control Ellelain into killing Kaiser and trying to kill Kaiserin. And since he knew that would happen, he made a "knight in shining armour" entrance for Kaiserin. That would also explain why Ellelain doesn't remember any of this happening.
The only thing that doesn't fit here is how Ellelain never learns she killed Kaiser despite having dozens of guards seeing it. Unless they got their memories altered as well, somehow.
