my completely arbitrary guesses at how likely it is (percentage wise out of a possible 100% chance) that taylor attends each game left in the Chiefs regular season. my experience with this is i am a casual swiftie and i was born in Missouri and raised a die hard chiefs fan and still know only the bare minimum about football.
Thursday 10/12/2023, playing the Denver Broncos in KC: like a 10% chance, maybe less. premier of Eras Tour movie is the day before, the wide release is the day after, i just don't see it.
Sunday 10/22/2023, playing LA Charges in KC: like a 70% chance, it's at home and it should be a good game, but maybe she's busy getting ready for tour/releasing 1989 TV.

My Testimony
As a Unification Church member, I was taught to submit myself as a dutiful servant of God. I had been led to believe that the way to do this was to be a humble follower of God’s divine representation on Earth: the reverend Sun Myung Moon and the leaders of his church. From an early age I was taught that obedience, self-sacrifice, and humility were good and Godly attributes, and therefore, to make it into the Kingdom of Heaven, I was expected to accept the guidance and the authority of the church and its leaders.
Although there had always been intrusive pressure to accept the rules of church doctrine, such as selflessly living for the sake of reverend Moon and his family and to shun the freedom and so-called “fallen” ways of the what was referred to as the “outside world,” the reality of the problem did not become truly apparent until the physical abuse began sometime in the late 1980s.
As a so-called “Second Generation” member (our parents being the first), we were obligated to follow reverend Moon’s oldest son, Hyo Jin Moon, who had been put in charge of us. Hyo Jin was a mentally unstable person who routinely intimidated and threatened us. I personally witnessed Hyo Jin physically assaulting a church member for the offense of acting too casual in his presence. The attack was brutal and lasted for several minutes. The victim was thrown to the ground and punched repeatedly in the face. The victim was also obligated not to alert the authorities or even attempt to try an defend himself. I know that some of my other Second Generation friends also suffered similar beatings.
On one occasion, Hyo Jin singled me out as someone who he had not yet physically humbled. I managed to avoid a beating by bowing my head in submission and showing him fear. It was around this time that we began to hear a story of Hyo Jin holding a gun to someone’s head and threatening to shoot. We did not know how far he would go since he saw himself as being above the law of the outside world. His outbursts seemed psychotic and were truly terrifying. We served at Hyo Jin’s beck and call not just out of a sense of duty, but out of fear for our own well-being.
Around this time, one of our leaders, who we knew as the “heungs” (the Korean word for older brother), told me not to tell other people what Hyo Jin was doing because they would not understand. I was told that the hardship that we were enduring was part of a divine plan that was related to “providential” “indemnity” (their terminology for karmic suffering that leads to salvation), or because we simply deserved it for “letting Satan in.”
One of the activities that we were obligated to partake in (beside helping Hyo Jin to illegally hunt deer in tick-infested woods) was the selling of flowers on street corners. Usually a good portion of this money would go back to the church. On one occasion, Hyo Jin told us to go out and sell flowers (“fund-raising” as it was called) out in the winter cold on Christmas eve and Christmas day. We each gave up the holidays with our families to go do this. We did not keep any of the money that we earned. It was instead diverted into a fund to buy “Father” (the church name for Reverend Moon) a new Rolls Royce.
My own father was not happy that me and my sister had missed Christmas to go out fundraising, but he came to reluctantly accept these kinds of things out of resignation. He himself had left almost two decades earlier after he had given all of his time, money, and possessions to the church; and in return, he had not only received nothing, but was also verbally assaulted by reverend Moon in a humiliating incident (when he was the church leader in Denver Colorado) for not following orders precisely to reverend Moon’s satisfaction. Also, because of my father’s connection to the Unification Church, he was disinherited by his own parents, which caused our family even further financial hardship. My father spent the rest of his life battling with anger, frustration, and bitterness because of this.
Not only were we mentally and physically abused, but we were also seen as free labor. Whether it was scraping the paint off of boats in Ipswitch Massachusetts, or painting a fire-escape at a Moon-owned property (the Manhattan Center) in New York city, we never received financial compensation for our work. This was primarily how the Moons were able to acquire their wealth; by exploiting the faith of the naive.
The psychological confusion and the emotional turmoil that I went through was compounded by classmates at school who knew that I was a so-called “moonie” and persecuted me because of it. It was truly a traumatic time in my life. At times the persecution was so bad that I could not even go to school.
At home I was expected to continue to conform to Unificationist doctrine since my mother was still actively involved in the church. This oppressive tension led to many conflicts in our family. In one incident I was even threatened with being disowned after I had renounced my so-called “blessed child�� status and declared that I would not be taking part in the marriage-matching that was being performed by Moon.
Part of the healing experience for me was to learn how to let go of the frustration, confusion, stress, fear, and bitterness, and take back my own life and self-esteem again. Although I have successfully broken free from the church, I still have to deal with nightmares from time to time, even to this day. These dreams usually involve being attacked by Hyo Jin in some way.
Reverend Moon is someone who has surrounded himself with yes-men who prostrate themselves before him, treat him as a king, and give him whatever he wants. He has misused the religious experience to enrich and aggrandize himself at the expense of others. He has declared himself to be the second-coming of Christ but clearly does not have any genuine respect for the people who follow him. Time and time again, he has deflected criticism from himself onto others -usually the members who have been mentally conditioned to accept the abuse.
Hyo Jin was allowed to get away with his abusive behavior because there was no oversight and nobody but Reverend Moon himself had the authority to stop him. This was the type of dysfunctional and nepotistic system that Moon himself had set up. Hopefully, the universal laws of karma will see to it that he is becomes humbled and repentant for straying from the righteous and truthful path of God.

Okay, the rest of this is fucked up, but the thing about the charging stations doesn't seem that alarming. Assuming the guy used Tesla branded superchargers, then of course Musk would have access to the security footage. He owns the charging stations.
Now, with what little I know about how EV chargers work, the car probably identifies itself to the charger when you plug it in. I know at the very least it tells the charger how much current it can accept, but since it's a Tesla vehicle using a Tesla charger, it could very well be telling the charger, "Hey, I'm Cybertruck Serial Number 123456789. Charge me, please!"
I am speculating here, though. I do not know if it tells the charger anything more than what it needs to know to safely charge the vehicle. For all I know, they just checked the footage at each of the stations along the route until they found that specific Cybertruck; there's only, like, 20-30 stations between Denver and Las Vegas.
There are lots of reasons not to buy a Tesla. I just don't think "Elon knows when you use one of Elon's chargers" is one of them.

Soldier shot himself in head before Cybertruck exploded outside Trump's Las Vegas hotel, officials say
LAS VEGAS
The highly decorated U.S. Army soldier inside the Tesla Cybertruck that burst into flames outside President-elect Donald Trump’s Las Vegas hotel shot himself in the head before the explosion and likely planned to cause more damage but the steel-sided vehicle absorbed much of the force from the rudimentary explosive, officials said Thursday.
Clark County Sheriff Kevin McMahill said at a news conference that a handgun was found at the feet of the man in the driver's seat, who officials believe is Matthew Livelsberger, 37, of Colorado. The shot appeared to be self-inflicted, officials said.
Damage from the blast was mostly limited to the interior of the truck. The explosion “vented out and up” and didn’t hit the Trump hotel doors just a few feet away, the sheriff said.
“The level of sophistication is not what we would expect from an individual with this type of military experience,” said Kenny Cooper, a special agent in charge for the the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
Among other charred items found inside the truck were a second firearm, a number of fireworks, a passport, a military ID, credit cards, an iPhone and a smartwatch, McMahill said. Authorities said both guns were purchased legally.
Investigators have not definitively identified the remains as Livelsberger, but the IDs and tattoos on the body “give a strong indication that it’s him,” the sheriff said.
Livelsberger served in the Green Berets, highly trained special forces who work to counter terrorism abroad and train partners. He had served in the Army since 2006, rising through the ranks with a long career of overseas assignments, deploying twice to Afghanistan and serving in Ukraine, Tajikistan, Georgia and Congo, the Army said.
He was awarded a total of five Bronze Stars, including one with a valor device for courage under fire, a combat infantry badge and an Army Commendation Medal with valor. Livelsberger was on approved leave when he died, according to the statement.
McMahill said Livelsberger rented the Tesla electric vehicle in Denver on Saturday and the sheriff displayed a map showing that it was charged in the Colorado town of Monument near Colorado Springs on Monday. On New Year’s Eve, it was charged in Trinidad, Colorado, and the towns of Las Vegas, Albuquerque and Gallup in New Mexico, along the Interstate 40 corridor.
Then on Wednesday, the day of the explosion, it was charged in the Arizona towns of Holbrook, Flagstaff and Kingman before video showed it on the Las Vegas Strip about 7:30 a.m.
The FBI said Thursday in a post on X that it was “conducting law enforcement activity” at a home in Colorado Springs related to Wednesday's explosion but provided no other details.
The explosion of the truck, packed with firework mortars and camp fuel canisters, came hours after 42-year-old Shamsud-Din Bahar Jabbar rammed a truck into a crowd in New Orleans’ famed French Quarter early on New Year’s Day, killing at least 15 people before being shot to death by police. That crash was being investigated as a terrorist attack. The FBI said Thursday that they believe Jabbar acted alone, reversing its position from a day earlier that he likely worked with others.
Both Livelsberger and Jabbar spent time at the base formerly known as Fort Bragg, a massive Army base in North Carolina that is home to multiple Army special operations units. However, one of the officials who spoke to the AP said there is no overlap in their assignments at the base, now called Fort Liberty.
Chris Raia, FBI deputy assistant director, said Thursday that officials have found ‘no definitive link’ between the New Orleans attack and the truck explosion in Las Vegas.
Seven people nearby suffered minor injuries when the Tesla truck exploded. Video showed a tumble of charred fireworks mortars, canisters and other explosive devices crowded into the back of the pickup. The truck bed walls were still intact because the blast shot straight up rather than to the sides.
Tesla CEO Elon Musk said Wednesday afternoon on X that “we have now confirmed that the explosion was caused by very large fireworks and/or a bomb carried in the bed of the rented Cybertruck and is unrelated to the vehicle itself."
"All vehicle telemetry was positive at the time of the explosion,” Musk wrote.
Musk has recently become a member of Trump’s inner circle. Neither Trump nor Musk was in Las Vegas early Wednesday. Both had attended Trump’s New Year’s Eve party at his South Florida estate.

Five Nights at the Super 8: "In Omaha Dad has another one of those nights, and all a fifteen year old can do is pour the rest of the whiskey down the toilet, look through Dad’s jacket for the car keys and the wallet and through the wallet for a twenty, pull the curtains shut, pull his baby brother by the wrist, turn the lights off, make sure the salt line is neat and thick along the threshold, make sure the do-not-disturb sign is facing out on the door handle, say nothing to the gum-smacking chick with the track marks next door, smile and wink at the housekeeping lady, hold his baby brother’s hand all the way down the stairs, puff his chest out as they make their way hand-in-hand to the car where it’s parked in the lot, make sure his baby brother is inside and his door is closed all the way and only then get in the car, drag the bench closer to the wheel, fix the rear-view mirror, fix the left-side mirror, turn the key in the ignition and let the engine warm up first, turn Robert Plant’s wailing down, put both hands on the wheel, lean up enough to see down the hood, take a deep breath, remember that he has known how to drive already for eighteen months, turn right out of the parking lot very carefully and when there are no other cars to be seen, turn the high beams on because it’s very dark, keep both hands on the wheel, stick to the speed limit on that long lonely road, sigh in exaggerated relief when they make it to the strip mall, grin at his baby brother and say c’mon squirt time for dinner, order two burgers and fries to split and a vanilla milkshake, smile and wink at the waitress, turn the straw wrapper into a soggy worm for the one thousandth time, remind his baby brother that Dad does important work out there in the world — that he saves people — that sometimes he deserves a break and that he will soon be okay again and that he will always protect them, order another burger for Dad before they go so it’s still warm when they get back except Dad probably will never eat it and it will spoil, stop at the convenience store for a PayDay and the Lucky Charms his baby brother loves to eat with no milk, keep his head down and ignore what the four men standing outside say about his pretty boy mouth, smile and wink at the lady behind the register, ignore what the four men standing outside say about candy and all the other things they can give him, drive very carefully back to the Super 8, tell the receptionist lady working the night shift that they will be staying another night and can you please charge it on the same credit card, smile and wink on the way out, open the room door very quietly and without turning on the light or breaking the salt line, lock the door behind them, make sure his baby brother brushes his teeth before bed, pull his baby brother by the wrist and feel around in the dark for the way to the bed, make sure his baby brother is tucked in, get into Dad’s bed and scoot close enough to hear his breathing, put his hand on Dad’s arm and say very quietly we just got back Dad, say we got back safe, say we got you something to eat, wait for Dad’s hand on his shoulder, imagine Dad saying good job."
