Island Paradise Latin String Tie Top Edit

This is an edit of one of the tops that comes with Island Paradise. I've never been a fan of the original (wearing lace directly over bare skin must be really itchy!) or its presets, so I made the following changes:

new undershirt, with the texture of the Buttoned-down Shirt;

fixed some bleeding around the collar;

gave some details (pocket, bow, collar, lapels) more definition;

fixed the UV mapping on the LOD1 GEOMs of the elder version, which had some really ugly shadows on the lapels;

made new presets, added separate channel for the buttons.

I've included several versions of this edit, in the same archive:

default replacement (adult-elder): requires IP, changes _XML, CASP and GEOM resources; will conflict with recategorizers;

basegame compatible (adult-elder): doesn't require IP or conflict with anything, the AF and EF packages are independent of each other so you can pick and choose. Polycount: 3.2k;

UV map fix only (elder only): default replacement, doesn't conflict with recategorizers or include any of the other changes.

Other details:

For Everyday, Formal, Career. Not enabled for random.

4 channels, 3 presets. The default version contains updated EA-style thumbnails, the non-default one has custom thumbnails.

Island Paradise Cropped Jacket fix

Sooo you know how the cropped jacket that came with IP has a row of coins at the bottom, but they look glued-on because the transparency doesn't work properly? This issue has been bugging me for literal years, but I never bothered to set to work seriously on it, whenever I remembered it existed. And what better time to work on it, if not 1 AM?

This fix requires the Island Paradise EP; it's a default replacement. I only changed the shader of the coin row groups to SimHair, copied a bit of the transparency over to the multiplier's alpha map, and updated the thumbnails. This fix does not change anything about the CASP resource, meaning it's compatible with recategorizers.

Island Paradise Stitched Latin Jacket edit

This is an edit of the blazer top that came with IP, which had these leaf/feather motifs that made it not as versatile as other tops. This edit does away with these motifs on the first preset only; the other 2 are unaffected. As such, the first preset only has 3 channels. For the elder version, I switched the first 2 presets around so that the dark blue one is first, to match the adult version.

For young adult - elder males (BGC files are separate).

EA-match thumbnails for DR, custom thumbnails for BGC.

Available under Everyday, Formal, Career, Random.

Island Paradise Front Desk Top texture edit

I haven’t done one of these in a looong time 😃 Did it mostly because I’ve been using this top to test something else and the harsh shading kept annoying me. The specular has also been edited to reduce the shine. Now and I might actually use this top for once, haha.

It’s a default replacement that works for adult - elder females.
