Honestly Maddie might not even notice at first. Because of her playful, devil-may-care personality, she's always sort of hanging off people in a display of casual touch, regardless of whether they want her to or not

Not only will she be okay with you being affectionate, she'll absolutely encourage it. She's 100% the type of person to pop up out of nowhere and wrap her arms around you in a massive bear hug without you even noticing until the moment it happens

If you're the type of person who likes playing/messing with people's hair, then by all means go ahead. She has no problem with you combing your fingers through it while she chats about anything and everything (though don't be alarmed if you see a small mouse pop out of it at any point. That's just Earl Grey, he sleeps there occasionally lol)

Upon getting your permission she'll mess with you the same way you do her. Prepare to have your hair, clothes, or accessories fiddled with randomly as she talks a mile a minute, asking you any random question that may pop into her head before rapidly moving onto the next thing

It warms her heart to know you care so much that you show it in a more physical way. As someone who's main love language is touch, all you're doing is reaffirming the amount of care you have for her

You won't ever worry about being too clingy, especially when it comes to her. Everyone knows Maddie tends to be a bit off the walls and all over people, so most will just assume that it's her that's the touch starved one rather than you

• Kitty Cheshire x f!reader

It was no surprise Kitty always used her Cheshire powers to her advantage. Whether it was to start petty fights or eavesdrop on private conversations, she was always lurking behind that pretty, pearly-white smile. And recently, Kitty began to use it on you, her girlfriend.

As you sit in your dorm, doing homework you suddenly felt as if holes were being burned into the back of your head. The tingly feeling of goosebumps moving up your arms shot through your body as the adrenaline began to pump through your veins. You looked around the room, no one was there. “You’re being paranoid.” You think to yourself, trying to calm the raging nerves.

Your eyes find place back at the paper on your lap, trying to focus. This goes on for a few minutes, constantly looking up trying to see if some troll how somehow found their way into your dorm, yet every time, nothing. Until you felt something touch your face, and your breath stopped.

It felt like fingers gently tracing against the skin of your face, trying to familiarize themselves with every delicate and intricate crevice that makes up your features. From the bridge of your nose to the curve of your cupids bow on your lip. A giggle filled the emptiness of your room, and before you even had time to fully register it…

Smooch!

The feeling of someone kissing you had your senses go haywire, and just as you were about to scream, a voice spoke out. “[Name] I’m so sad you’ve yet to realize who I am.” The voice says, and at that moment, the cogs in your mind turn, and your breathing eases. “Kitty?” You ask hesitantly, still trying to come down from your earlier fears.

The first thing you see is a smile, then Kitty before you. She laughs. “You are too easy to scare [Name.]” She says, sitting down beside you on your bed. “Well, I wouldn’t be so scared if someone didn’t hide behind their power to give me a kiss!” You shout both embarrassed and annoyed. Kitty rolls her eyes, waving her hand dismissively. “Oh, yeah? I bet you still liked the kiss, didn’t you?”

You pause. “…Shut up.”

You and Alistair have known each other since you were kids in Wonderland. And the both of you had hated each other. Alistair hated how mean you got with your pranks. Sure you were the son of the Cheshire Cat but you could have toned it down a bit at least. You hated Alistair for always having to ruin the mood and stand up against you. When you moved with your twin sister, Kitty, to Ever After High, you were thrilled having to never see his stupid face again. And during the first year or two, it was peaceful. Until, one year, Alistair just had to show his face with that stupid Bunny Blanc.

"Ugh, of all faces, it had to be you," You grumbled as you rolled your eyes.

"Still causing mischief or have you finally learned to be nice?" Alistair replied. You scoffed and turned your head away, not wanting to look at his stupid face. His stupid, yet pretty face. Woah! What were you thinking?! You hate Alistair! Why are you thinking romantic thoughts about him? Throughout the next few weeks saving Wonderland, your mind continued to think about Alistair and how pretty and handsome he actually was. But your distracted mind nearly cost you your life when Courtly Jester fired a spell at your direction. Thankfully, you were quickly pushed out of the way by none of than your rival, Alistair. The two of you rolled to the side and you found him on top of you.

"Uh, s-sorry," Alistair said with a blush.

"Don't be," you replied and then pulled him into a kiss, much to his and everyone else's surprise. The two were then rudely interrupted when Raven signed the Book of Destiny and began fighting Courtly. After Raven had won, Wonderland was now saved. As you and your friends were heading back to Ever After, Alistair stopped you by gently grabbing your wrist.

"I um...I love you," he said with a blush. You blushed as well but gently placed a kiss on his cheek.

"I love you too," you said.

"Promise you'll visit?"

"I will if you visit Ever After." Alistair smiled and nodded before giving you a soft kiss on your lips.

"I'll see you then," he said. You nodded and headed back to Ever After with everyone else, smiling at the mental image of you and Alistair kissing.

although she does have a habit of being, for lack of a better word, catty with others and enjoys causing mischief for those around her to deal with, she’s actually incredibly considerate of you as her partner — being mindful of your mood and mental state and always being careful to keep her pranks to times where you’re in a space to find them amusing rather than upsetting (she’s still very playful with you, of course, but she’s well aware of where the line is with you and makes sure to never cross it as long as she can help it)

no matter how long you’ve been in a relationship, dexter will always get flustered around you — stumbling over his words and going red in the face whenever you flirt with him

is incredibly protective over you when it comes to his family and prefers to keep them away from you (or vice versa) — he’s just cautious about the whole destiny thing and doesn’t want to start any drama with his parents

though with his brother it’s a completely different story and he’s not afraid to argue with him if daring tries to flirt with you or otherwise demean or undermine your relationship

whilst he’s very openly affectionate in private (kissing, cuddling, placing a hand on your knee, etc.), he tends to be much more overly polite and reserved in public

like he’ll kiss your knuckles or the back of your hand, or he’ll link your arm with his whilst you walk around together but that’s generally how far he’ll go

this is mainly due to the fact that he’s afraid of ruining your reputation — he’s a royal and is being pushed towards a very specific path (and the belief that everyone should also follow their own) so he doesn’t want to hurt you in the long run

especially if your predetermined path doesn’t involve a happy ending or a prince charming

Hello! Sorry for not uploading anything new or at least not uploading a preview, but I've been a little out of ideas but I plan to write more!!

This time I bring you Briar Beauty's SFW alphabet (A.K.A LA BEST)

A = Affection (How affectionate is he? How does he show affection?)

She is a very affectionate and loving girl, it is in her nature. She usually shows it with physical affection, whether it be kisses, hugs or holding hands. She can even show her affection through activities together like parties. It is 100% certain that she uploads photos of you together on her networks.

B = Best friend (What would he be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?)

There are different ways in which you could start a friendship with Briar and it all depends on your personality.

If you are extroverted it is easy, you met her at the parties she organizes. You started talking and hanging out more

If you're an introvert, it can be a little more complicated, but it boils down to either she dragged you to one of her parties or you caught her eye for some reason

C = Hugs (Does she like to cuddle? How would she do it?)

Love falls short, she loves to hug her partner. Generally in various ways but her favorite is where she can rest her head on her partner's chest and listen to her partner's heartbeat

D = Domestic (Does she want to settle down? How is she cooking and cleaning?)

This is a complicated subject... Being destined to sleep for 100 years and waking up leaving her whole life behind scares her very much. When she wakes up you won't be there anymore and it scares her, if it were up to her it would be a definitive YES (after a long time to finally get serious) but her destiny puts a big part of her life at stake. She is clean and tidy but is forbidden to cook for fear that she will fall asleep.

E = Final (If she had to break up with her partner, how would she do it?)

She would take it pretty well, she's had previous relationships in the past so she has experience dealing with breakups. However, if you managed to have a deeper connection with Briar, well, it will take her a little longer to get over the breakup (This is where it would be best to be careful of Faybelle)

F = Engaged (How do you feel about commitment? How soon would you want to get married?)

The same as with the letter D, the issue of sleeping for 100 years plays against many of her plans. About commitment, it's something she should see first, knowing if she wants to commit to someone and everything, but if her partner supports her in most of her activities, she will have the answer in a very short time. Taking away all that from the curse of sleeping for a century, in order to get married, at least one or two years of relationship.

G = Kind (How kind is she, both physically and emotionally?)

She is very careful both physically and emotionally. Do you feel depressed about something? BOOM party just for you. Did you get hurt while doing some extreme sports with her? BOOM takes care of you all day long

H = Hugs (Does she like hugs? How often does she do it? What are her hugs like?)

As I said, she loves hugs and does them often. Her hugs are loving.

I = I love you (How fast does she say the L word?)

After a few months she would say the magic words

J = Jealousy (How jealous does she get? What does she do when she is jealous?)

On a scale of 1 to 10 she would be a 4. She doesn't tend to get jealous very often because she trusts her partner but if she feels jealous she will simply be near her partner hugging him or doing anything that makes it clear that they are in a relationship.

K = Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?)

She likes to kiss on the lips and be kissed on the lips (Internally it's a way of trying to make you the prince/princess destined to wake her up) Her kisses are loving

L = Little (How are they with kids?)

She gets along pretty well with little kids and knows how to handle them because, you know, she has like 8 younger siblings.

M = Morning People (How do you spend your mornings with them?)

Mornings are quiet but full of activities that you can both do together

N = Night People (How do you spend your nights with them?)

Nights are different and it's quite noticeable, there are more activities and more games but if one of you feels particularly tired then you spend them quietly

O = Open (When would they start to reveal things about themselves? Do they say everything at once or do they wait a while to reveal things slowly?)

It will take a long time for her to open up to you completely. Whether it's to tell you about how she's not sure about following her destiny, how afraid she is of sleeping for 100 years and waking up with all her friends and family dead, how she could lose you, how she's expected to be happy about it.

P = Patience (How easily do they get angry?)

It's very difficult to make her angry, you would have to have done something very, very stupid to make her lose her temper. He would get quite angry if someone goes against his friends, partner, family or even her parties.

Q = Quizzes (How much would they remember about you? Do they remember every little detail you mention in passing or do they forget everything?)

She remembers most of the things you do together no matter what it is, from a big event to the smallest date. She treasures every moment with the person she loves

R = Remembering (What is her favorite moment in your relationship?)

The first time you met, she doesn't really know why but when she met you she could feel that it was something very special for both her and you

S = Security (How protective are they? How would they protect you? How would they like to be protected?)

She is very protective, she would jump to your defense if someone ever did something to you by saying positive things about you. But when you're the one defending her, she feels quite grateful and confident

T = Trying (How much effort would you put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)

She puts a lot of effort into important dates as shown on Apple's birthday for example

U = Ugly (What would be some of her bad habits?)

Sometimes she can be a bit stubborn and she can also forget some things she was going to do with her partner because she's more focused on going from party to party [Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that being a party person is bad].

V = Vanity (How worried are they about their appearance?)

She takes her time to be made up and dressed up

W = Complete (Would they feel incomplete without you?)

If you're apart for a long time, she can get a bit lonely

X = Xtra (A random headcanon for them).

She has a habit of calling almost everything "sexy". “What a sexy meal” plus she uses certain internet terms in public. “Yolo!” “XD”

Y = Yuck (What are some things you wouldn’t like, either in general or in a partner?)

People who hold you back from doing what you love the most. People who are similar in behavior like Duchess or Faybelle

Z = Zzz (What is a sleeping habit of theirs?)

This pretty much answers itself isn’t it?

Ever After High

Gender Neutral / Male / Female - OC/Reader/Y/N = ___ or Harper

Harper J. Cupid is the eldest child of Eros, while C.A. Cupid is their younger sister.

___ doesn't usually stay in one place like Cupid. ___ comes back to school or acts as a teacher's assistant to the Pied Piper because they can do whatever they want.

---------------------------------------------------

___ tours around, performing shows and hearing about True Hearts Day (because, duh, Cupid). Being a bit of a rebel (and playing Cupid for Cupid), ___ helps organize the party, ordering cakes, pastries, party streamers, etc.

However, Principal Grimm notices some of the party items and questions Cupid, who is taking them. ___ quickly uses magic to take the cakes and other supplies, putting on their best face.

"Party supplies?" Principal Grimm questions suspiciously. "Uh, yes, party supplies," Cupid replies hesitantly, trying to think of an excuse. "They are, uh, for—" ___ cuts in with Briar, "For my new show premiere." Briar adds, "Yeah, it's on the down-low, if you know what I mean. Very exclusive. Very hush-hush."

___ gathers the items with magic while Briar pushes Cupid along. "Now, if you don't mind, we're very busy and would love to chat more," ___ says, already hovering the supplies away. "But I'm sure you have a speech to write, correct? Or did I hear wrong?" ___ raises a brow, smirking mischievously.

"Then carry on," Principal Grimm says, waving them off.

As they walk away, feeling mischievous, ___ adds, "You know, Principal Grimm," pausing and looking back with a cat-like grin, "I hear that [comment about unicorn figures]." Principal Grimm stops mid-step, while ___ catches up with Briar and Cupid.

"What was that about?" Cupid or Briar asks. "Oh, nothing, just having a little fun," ___ laughs, and Cupid and Briar shrug it off.

Later, as they bring the supplies to the theater for safekeeping, they see Ashleigh and Hunter holding hands. ___ whistles with their fingers and cheers them on.

Goldie interviews ___ and Cupid about Ashleigh and Hunter's relationship.

"Bringing here our love experts, the Cupid siblings ___ and, well, Cupid! Thanks for being here, both of you." ___ sits more relaxed while Cupid maintains proper posture.

"Thanks for having us, Goldie," Cupid says.

"It's no problem. Now, from what I hear, Ashleigh and Hunter are in a relationship. We're here to hear from the love experts how you feel about it."

"That doesn't matter," ___ answers immediately. Goldie pauses, looking for the next words. "Could you explain?"

"Love is love. It's precious and easy to break but hard to build," ___ says, straightening up. "If they want to date, they can date. If they want to hold hands and share each other's company, they can do whatever they want." ___ gets up, bringing their pink heart-shaped glasses to stare at the audience/camera. "Just mind your own business." Black mist or smoke almost emanates from ___, something slightly changing in them.

Cupid quickly intervenes, knowing what's happening. "Well! It was so nice to be here, Goldie, thank you, but we seem to be running late, and we really gotta go. Don't want to keep the fans waiting, right? Right!" Cupid then ushers ___ out of there.

Some question what had happened, but Goldie regains her composure and continues her report. "Well, you heard it—the Cupids clearly have a positive outlook on this royal-rebel relationship. Now onto..." Goldie finishes her video/interview.

When ___ gets mad or angry, black ink starts to crawl from their arms, and a dark mist emanates from them.

___ cools off and talks with Cupid about how everyone is stupid for making a big deal out of something when anyone should be happy for them (though ___ is clearly projecting/talking about their own past experiences).

They talk, and ___ thanks Cupid.

"Thanks," ___ says sincerely. Cupid nudges them slightly with her shoulder. "I'm always here for you."

"Ah, yes, your oh-so-wise sage advice," ___ mockingly replies. Cupid feigns hurt, "I will have you know, brother of mine, that I have brought plenty of couples together."

___ laughs. "Yes, yes," they wave off, and both get up from the bench.

"Now, how about we go prepare for that party of yours?" Cupid smiles comfortingly. "Let's."

The cakes arrive, this time delivered to ___'s studio. ___ sets up all the equipment and sound checks, with a little help from fellow music lover Harper Piper.

"Thanks, girl."

"No problem. A little rebellious party here and there is just what this school needs."

"Of course, a little rebellion is good, healthy even!" They both laugh, and ___ leaves Harper to the DJ set, setting up the food and drinks, storing extras in the back room.

They dress the Billy Goats in simple tuxedos, inventory count of drinks and food, etc.

It's True Hearts Day now. Early birds arrive, and more come when the evening hits. The party is really hitting off, people mingling, and ___ playing host, greeting guests as they come in and testing the dance floor.

Raven arrives, and Briar calls her over. "Wow, Briar, you really know how to throw the most hexellent parties," Raven says. Briar smiles, "Well, I had some help," she puts her arm over Hopper, who stutters. ___ cuts in from nowhere, "I think what he means to say is, thank you, and it was no problem." ___ looks to Hopper, who just nods.

___ then has an idea. "And that he would really like to dance with you, Briar." Hopper looks shocked, and Briar looks surprised, glancing from ___ to Hopper. Raven, joining in the mischief, says, "I mean, Briar, you do throw good parties, but can you party that well?" "I guess you're just going to have to test those dance moves," ___ says, magicking Hopper and Raven onto the dance floor. The stunned royals both start dancing, with Briar motioning for them to dance, and so they do.

___ and Raven see this, bumping and clapping hands to show teamwork and success. "I didn't know a Cupid could be so mischievous," Raven comments.

"All is fair in love and war, my dear," ___ replies with a satisfied smile. "You could say I enjoy playing Cupid," ___ laughs at their joke, and Raven just smiles, rolling her eyes.

Maddy pops up. "Hey, you guys, do you know who's DJing tonight?" ___ smirks, "I only get the best. Speaking of which," ___ summons a microphone, "Greetings, everyone! What a great True Hearts Day we're having, huh?" The crowd cheers. "And as a little special treat, I've got some great entertainment for the night. So please, ladies and gentlemen, and everyone else in between, give a round of applause to our leading lady, Melody Piper!"

"What up, Ever After! Ready for me to drop some True Heart tunes?" Melody shouts. Everyone cheers excitedly. "Then follow me!"

___ is getting some food and drinks when they see Dexter with his poor little heart broken and Cupid looking hopeful. ___ makes a tough decision, knowing what they have to do.

___ brings food over to Cupid and Dexter, sitting next to them. "Why does my brother always get the girl? It's not fair," Dexter laments.

"Well, maybe you should stop thinking so much about your brother and concentrate on someone else," Cupid says, fluttering her eyes.

"Uh, who?" Dexter asks.

"You!" ___ and Cupid both poke him gently. "You spend so much time comparing yourself to Daring that you forget how great you are just the way you are," Cupid continues.

"Really?" Dexter looks hopeful.

"If someone can't see how great a guy you are, then they are blind because you are, forgive my pun, charming in your own way," ___ snickers, and so do Dexter and Cupid.

___ puts his hand on Dexter's shoulder. "I'm serious, dude. You have plenty of strengths that Daring doesn't."

"Strengths? Me?" Dexter asks, surprised.

"Yes, you," ___ continues. "You're a great listener, you're insightful, and most importantly, you care." ___ pats him on the shoulder. "And you don't look at your reflection more than others, being narcissistic," ___ jokes. "If I can see all of that after just having met you for a week, then I know you'll find someone."

___ gives Dexter a comforting hug. "Come on, friendship hug. Cupid, come on," ___ nudges with their head. They comfort Dexter for a bit, and they eat the food that ___ brought over.

Cupid gives her story about the history of True Hearts Day.

"And so, to encourage all of us to follow our true heart," she pauses to whistle for fairies, who gather Heart Blossoms to give one to each person, "make sure to give yours to someone special to you," she motions to everyone.

Ashlynn steps on stage beside Cupid. "Can I?" Ashlynn excuses herself and goes up to the mic. "Hunter, when I listen to my true heart, it tells me that you're my prince charming." Hunter, feeling touched, awes at her statement to everyone.

Blondie pushes Hunter back to get the scoop of new news. "But how can you be a Royal and date Hunter?"

"I don't know. But if writing our own Happily Ever After means I can't be a Royal, then call me Ashlynn Ella, the Rebel!" She steps offstage and walks over to Hunter, embracing him in a heartfelt hug.

The crowd cheers, and ___ cheers as well, adding some flower petals to fall on the lovebirds with a heart sparkles effect. "Match made," ___ softly comments. Then, seeing Raven in the corner of their eye, ___ says, "And part two begins," setting another plan in motion.

Pairing: C.A. Cupid x gender neutral reader

Summary: Cupid falls in love with you but is worried you don't like her back

When Cupid first saw you, she felt as though she's been struck by an arrow through the heart, shot by none other than herself. Everything about you was perfect in her eyes. From your appearance to your personality, she couldn't imagine a more flawless human being.

However, even though she held you in such high regard, she couldn't help but worry that you might not feel the same. The thought crossed her mind that perhaps she could use her powers to make it happen, but she didn't want to forced your affection. If you were going to like or even love her, she wanted it to happen naturally.

As much as she wanted to just ask you how you felt, she was much too scared to do it face to face. So she settled on the next best thing, a good old fashioned note reading "do you like me? Please check one: yes or no - C.A. Cupid".

Cheesy? Cliche? Terribly over done? Yes to all three, but she was desperate. She slipped the note into your locker then hid nearby as she waited for you to find it.

Cupid's face lit up when she saw you open your locker and find the note, craning her neck to see if she could get a look at which box you checked. Unfortunately, it was much too far away, but she did see you smile and scribble something down before slipping the note into her locker in turn.

After you left, she hurried over to her locker, opening it and frantically unfolding the note you'd dropped there. You'd check the yes option, and even left a response at the bottom: "I'd love to hang out with you sometime :)"

Her heart sped up as she read it over and over again, letting out a squeal of joy as the truth finally sunk in. You did like her back, and you wanted to hang out sometime. It was like a dream come true, only better.

• Sparrow Hood x f!reader

note: In writing this I envisioned the reader as the daughter of Absolem. Because if a rabbit can have a daughter, so can a caterpillar. No physical descriptors though. Honestly, I’m just writing whatever comes to my head at this point. Plus it’s not edited. (Insert cheeky emoji sticking its tongue out.)

Truly a sight to see this encounter was. The ever blunt and aloof, daughter of Absolem, being hit on by the flirtatious and arrogant, son of Robin Hood. You had stood in the same exact position for at least ten minutes, listening to some strange guitar playing boy make his best attempt at serenading you. Your friends Alastair and Bunny watching the interaction with both amusement and embarrassment.

Your expression remained blank as Sparrow practically played his heart out for you. He was on one knee, eyes squeezed shut, and a smile across his lips. When he was finished he opened his eyes and looked at you, “What did you think about that? Pretty awesome right?” Sparrow smirked, throwing you two fingers guns.

“It sounded almost as if the disgusting smell of the smoke created by my father’s hookah transformed to sound.” Alastair and Bunny both flinched inwardly at the sound of your voice, they knew that was just the way you spoke but to others, it just sounded cruel. Sparrow’s expression fell and his confident aura dissipated, he asked: “What’s a…hookah?” He stood up scratching his head as he tilted it to the side, confused.

“That a Wonderland thing?” Sparrow continued, looking at you incredulously. Bunny and Alastair were about to intervene before a rare smile graced your face, causing the Wonderlandian’s to raise their brows. “I loved it.” You say, before grabbing the red-head by his bandana and pulling him towards you to kiss him.

“Mph-!” Sparrow muffled as your lips meshed against his, clearly caught off guard along with Alastair and Bunny, who watch in fascination at the scene before them. As you pull away from the kiss, Sparrow’s face was giddy, and you could practically see his heart beating out of his chest like an old cartoon.

Alastair and Bunny give each other a look, clearly judging your choice on who will be yours forever after. “Of all guys, she chose that one?” Alastair whispers to Bunny, pointing at you and Sparrow, the latter giggling in amusement.
