The first episode of Tatort Berlin I watched was Das Opfer and that was a strong introduction to Robert Karow! His character unfortunately was "toned down" in Nichts als die wahrheit, probably to focus more in Susanne Bonard.

To discover more about him, I started watching Dunkelfeld yesterday (had to stop halfway through because of my migraine though). It hard to find all the previous episodes of Tatort Berlin but Dunkelfeld is the oldest I could find so I was grateful for the recap at the beginning of the episode as many things happened before.

It's interesting to see how Karow changed, at least based on this episode from 2016. The writing is absolutely all over the place and makes a huge disservice to any kind of acting but it's clear that Karow was a lot more like a sort of mad dog than what he now is. I don't know if the character aging is one of the reasons, but the difference is striking. I wonder if this side of him could resurface like in Das Opfer if he were to be in the right situation.

Shame I couldn't find the episode Meta, it was written by the same person as Das Opfer so I figured it could be a nice one.
