Liam Dunbar is Blood, Love, and Regrets.

A/N: Just a short scene I wrote for him!! Cw for gore!!

Liam kept his feet steady as the metal below his feet creaked and dipped. The metal seemed so close to caving it but he kept forward.

Keeping off the muddy ground would save his new boots and his own head. He looked back to the little girl that kept close to him.

Suddenly, her foot slipped, she went falling off the curved roof of the abandoned train. He ran back and grabbed her by the hand.

In all fairness Liam was not the strongest but he needed to keep this girl alive. He promised. The weight of the light girl suddenly increased. Liam dug his foot under the overhang of the roof to keep himself up.

When the girl let out a scream of agony he knew she was done. In one swift movement he pulled his pistol out from its holster and held it to the girls head.

Her eyes were already whitening. Liam shot her straight in the head and let her arm go, letting her slip off the roof onto the zombie that had taken her life long before he did.

Liam Dunbar Pokemon AU

Liam received his 1st pokemon in the form an egg from his grandfather as he seen the potential in Liam and knew he would have a future with battling, the egg hatched into a young Riolu that Liam gave the name Rio to. Rio evolved into the aura pokemon Lucario during a tough battle against the boys Rival Brett and his Inceneroar after they had received their 4th gym badge.

At the age of 15 he was taken under the wing of Scott McCall the champion of Galar who was the youngest champion in a long time. He became the champions sort of protégé.

Liam received the Galarain starter Grookey from Scott on his 16th birthday after the champion had come back from visiting the Professor of the Reigion. The young monkey had been waiting to be picked by a trainer for awhile at the time and was given the name Kale by Professor Sonja. During his first battle against Theo and his Kubfu the grass monkey evolved into Thwackey giving them the boost they need in the battle. Kale evolved into Rillaboom while they were visiting the Professor of the reigion after Scott had asked Liam and his companions to help Sonja with her field research in the Crown Tundra, the Grass monkey evolved after saving the Professor from a Steelix and defeating the Iron Snake.

Hunter was the first pokemon Liam captured on his official Journey across Galar when he encountered the puppy pokemon Rockruff and eagerly caught the rock type since he wanted to prove to himself he could do it. The rock type evolved into its Midday Lycanroc form during an intense battle against the Fire type Gym leaders Arcanine.

Liam captured Volt the Eevee on his journey during one of his encounters with Theo. 2 Eevees were injured during a storm so the 2 of them rushed to help to 2 mons, but since the 2 boys were in the middle of nowhere and the nearest Poke Centre was miles away they had to take shelter in a cave and use what supplies they had on hand to help the 2 Eevees. Luckily they had enough on hand to heal the injuries and after the storm let up the 2 Eevees made it known they wanted to travel with the boys to repay their thanks. Volt evolved into Jolteon during a accidental encounter with a Thunder stone in a Evolution stone shop after it was playing around with its sibling Eevee that it hadn't seen in awhile since Theo and Liam had parted ways again. Afterwards the 2 siblings didn't want to part again which forced Theo to travel with Liam and Mason. Liam was secretly thrilled at the thought of the boy travelling with them.

Liam encountered his Heracross during a bug catching competition which he had decided to enter. The pokemon butted heads with the boy during the competition leading Liam on a wild goose chase before Liam saved the Bug type from falling into a ravine and in its aim to thank the boy let itself be captured in the Nest ball Liam had.

Liam encountered his last team member Salem when he and his companions came across a village that specialised in its dragon types. The elder of the village had told the boys that the Dragon pokemon had lost its former trainer in an accident and refused to accept another, filled with anger and lashing out at those who tried to get close. During their stay Liam tried to help the Salemance bringing the Dragon type food, talking to him and keeping him company. During a storm that took place during their stay a group of Bagon had went missing and Liam rushed out to find them with a group from the village. Salem followed the group before watching Liam help and save one that was about to fall off a cliff edge, Liam himself fell as a result so the dragon pokemon flew in and saved the 18 year old boy. After the storm, Liam and his companions set out to leave for the 7th gym before being stopped by the Elder of the village who gave Liam Salems Ultra ball stating she sensed the Dragon type had chosen Liam as its trainer now.

Liam was accepted into the Reigions championship along with Theo where the best of the best entered to compete including champions like Scott. Liam couldn't wait to prove himself against Scott when he went against the Champion during one of the matches.

On 6th March 608, St Baldred, (also spelled Balfred) the hermit monk of the Bass Rock, died.

Dates differ a wee bit, but we're used that now!

The Bass Rock is a massive crag rising out of the sea to a height of 350 feet and it is about a mile in circumference. Through the Rock, from the East to West, runs a natural tunnel, but this is not accessible except at low tide.

Halfway up the Rock stands the ruins of a Pre-Reformation Chapel which was dedicated to Saint Baldred, and was consecrated in the year 1542. Saint Baldred was said to have his cell on the Bass Rock, dying there about the year 606 Baldred was a Bishop of Scotland who succeeded Saint Kentigern in Glasgow. At some point he became a hermit.

His followers dedicated churches in his honour and his name is remembered in St. Baldred’s Boat (the point immediately south of the Bass Rock, opposite Tantallon Castle), the nearby St. Baldred’s Cave (where he may also have lived) and St. Baldred’s Cradle (which lies at the northwest end of the John Muir Country Park, nearer Dunbar).

Day 6: insect(one edited image for dramatic effect and another unedited) [another lil backstory-ish: this gal is a doctor trying to work on finding a cure to a plague of coughing up bugs and she just contracted it—] also can be interpreted as the message of Isaac’s Insects by Isaac Dunbar: feeling as though a million lil bugs are always watching your every move, almost as if they’ve penetrated your very being.

Dr. Ruth Cave (March 10, 1903 - November 20, 1980) began her notable career in unpromising circumstances. Her parents were divorced before she was born, and her mother died when she was 11, leaving her and her sister Dorothy in the care of her 60-year-old grandmother, Minnesota Waters in Cripple Creek, Colorado. She, her sister, and her grandmother lived and worked in Boulder, Colorado (1917-24).

In 1924, she became one of the first African American women to graduate from the University of Colorado. However, discrimination prevented her from finding a position in the West, and she was forced to leave Boulder for the segregated South to find a teaching job. She taught French and Latin at Claflin College in South Carolina (1924-28) returning to Boulder (1929-30) to care for her grandmother and get an MA from the University of Colorado in French and Education. She moved to DC and taught at Dunbar High School (1931-45). She attended Robert F. Terrell Law School at night and received her JD.

She married fellow law student Harold Flowers (1937-1949) with whom she practiced law and had a son. She received a Ph.D. in Foreign Languages and Literature from the Catholic University of America. She was an Associate Professor of Spanish at North Carolina College (1951-59).
