The Sixty-fourth Spirit is Duke Haures, or Hauras, or Havres, or Flauros. He appears at first like a leopard, but after a while, he puts on human. Shape with eyes flaming and fiery, and a most terrible countenance. Gives true answers of things past, present, and to come. Talks of divinity, of the creation of the world, the "falling" of the spirits. He's a good one to work with when you are doing theurgical work. Haures, associated with the Dukante hierarchy Flereous and twinned with Phenex/Phoenix (different aspects of similar energy). He destroys and burns up those who be the enemies of the practitioner should he so desire it; also he will not suffer him to be tempted by any other spirit or otherwise. He governs 36 legions of spirits.

According to Runyon, he is a fallen angel of an undisclosed rank. He can also be conflated with the Egyptian Horus due to name similarities and his bird-like sigil.

Crimson Rose Senpai!

Crimson Rose Kenji was once a prince, and at age 20 he was just about to inherit the title of king. As his father was unfortunately dying from a terminal illness and his mother was deemed "mentally unfit" to rule (think like King Henry the 6th).

However, the king's closest advisor had other plans. Framing the prince for a crime he did not commit in an attempt to get him thrown in prison. However the King proposed that Kenji and the advisor duke it out in a "trial by combat", confident his son would with the duel.

Which he would have...if the advisor didn't cheat. Resulting in the prince losing the duel...and his head.

Now that would be the end to this tragic tale. But in the pits of Limbo, he was approached by a demon called "Flauros" (the AU's version of Blaze). Who, in a similar vein, lost her position of "Duchess of Hell", lost her worshippers, and was stripped of most of her powers. Yearning to get it all back...by force.

And so she strikes a deal will the ex-prince. She will bring him back to the world of the living and imbue him with demonic powers that'll let him take revenge on the man who stole everything from him. But only if he helps her rebuild her cult and defeat the hellish nobles that wronged her.

With the only other option being spending eternity in the afterlife, Kenji agrees to the deal. And thus the cult known as the "Crimson Roses" was born, and therefore Crimson Rose Senpai.

But as time goes by, the relationship between Kenji and Flauros becomes more than just beneficiary and patron, if you know what I mean

If you were a pilot of any gundam, which one would you choose/which one do you think you would be assigned?

So this question has 3 answers

1: which *gundam* I’d like to pilot? Gundam Flauros (Ryusei-Go) from Iron Blooded Orphans

It can turn into a crab!!!

2: which mobile suit? The zogok, my personal favorite of the abandoned California Base suits

3: which suit would I be assigned?

The short answer? I can’t know for sure

The long answer… mwahaha

So the answer can broken into 3 main components

1: what universe Im supposedly a pilot in (and when)

2: who i side with

3: how good of a pilot am I

I’ll answer 3 off the bat and answer everything else accordingly. I am a decent pilot at best. Not *the* best, but not terrible. I’d at least qualify as an Ace Pilot (5 kills)

So 1 is a fun one because gundam has… a lot of different universes

This is currently the most accurate chart, just imagine the Witch from Mercury in the corner by the PD timeline

So let’s go down the line

UC

Earth Federation

So starting in the OYW (One Year War), the Federation got mobile suits much later than Zeon did, so my options are severely limited, especially considering I’m not part of the White Base. I have 2 options

The GM and the Ball.

I pray to god I get the GM.

There’s also the Guncannon and Guntank Massed Production Types I could pilot if I’m lucky

However after the OYW, the feddies created the Titans, and went through an experimental phase, creating suit after suit like the Hazel and Wondwart

The Titans would also make suits like the Hizack, Asshimar, and Gaplant, all of which are good contenders for being piloted.

Then the Titans got cut out and their MS stopped being produced and were all sent to storage or scrapyards. However the Feds were far from finished. They took the GM and make countless upgrades, making the GM II and III, the Jegan, and the Jesta

Now this is about where my knowledge of the EFF ends so I’ll move on

The Republic of Zeon

Now Zeon has a much more varied history, and I will be including Neo Zeon suits when it applies

So to start, Zeon had the humble Zaku, which then became the Zaku II. Later the suit was upgrades into the Gouf prototypes. Those are likely the suits I’d get if I joined in the early OYW

Now mid OYW is a fun one because Zeon did a LOT with aquatic suits. If I’m lucky I could land a Gogg, Zock, Z’gok, Acguy, or even a Hy-Gogg, though probably not the Experimental Z’gok seen in 0080 War in the Pocket

Towards the end of the war, Zeon introduced the Gelgoog and Rick Doms, which became their new mass produced MS

Although after that, Zeon dissolved thanks to all of their leaders fucking dying (The Duke was killed by his son, who was killed by his sister, who was killed by Char Aznable. Dozle died gloriously in combat)

However, thanks to Haman, Zeon rose again as Neo Zeon, and their army of transformable Gazas. I’d rather pilot a Ball than a Gaza, so I think that demonstrates how bad the Gazas are.

But that’s not all Neo Zeon did, as they also produced several other suits for their regular MS corps. Suits like the Zssa (pronounced z-sah, all one syllable), which I would gladly pilot. Look at her, who wouldn’t?

And Neo Zeons most infamous mass production suit, the Döven Wolf. The half pint Psycho Gundam covered end to end in beam cannons, with detachable arms that can grab into enemy suits, or swing beam sabers. Oh also, it has a psycommu system, which meant Neo Zeon had some damn FAITH that all their soldiers are innate newtypes

They also had the Zaku III, but that was kinda Generals only

Anti Earth Union Group

Rick Dias, it’s kinda their only mass production suit

Gjallerhorn isn’t very creative with its soldier suits, so I’d be stuck with a Graze, either the space or land variant

Tekkadan

Despite being a bunch of kids, Tekkadan has a surprising variety in their suits. I obviously wouldn’t be getting any of their Gundam frames, but I’d likely end up running a Landman Rodi, or a Shiden

Shidens are technically Teiwaz suits but Tekkadan uses the a lot

Turbines

They have Hyakurens. That’s it. Naze seems like a nice guy tho

Witch From Mercury

So this just depends on 1.5 things, whether I'm a student at the academy and which company I'm repping.

If I rep Jertuk Heavy Machinery, I'll be using a Dilanza

Peil Technologies would give me a Zowort

and lastly Grassley Defense Systems would give me a Heindree or Beguir-Pente

If im out of the school however, that would be a Dilanza Sol from JHM, a Zowort Heavy from Peil, or a Heindree Sturm from GDS. Im not providing the links, they're just variants of the aforementioned suits.

Duedephelon offered a somewhat grateful nod at the Princess's words. It was comforting to hear that Hell's heir valued her subjects so highly. However the fact she went back to considering the merits of the initial plan told him that there was something about any alternatives that would have been far too dangerous. He did not discount she likely knew several things he did not and had already taken them into consideration.

It appears simply asking Duke Flauros for the documents was out of the question, and he could imagine a dozen reasons why, and most of them involved the seemingly innocent but potent possibility of someone in power owing him an unspecified favor.

At the comment of whether or not he can actually perform the ask assigned, he simply nodded. "T'would be a disgrace if I disappointed, Your Radiance. Provided I can gather a proper profile of the building, an understanding of guard rotations, and any possible security measures, yes. I can obtain the information you require without issue."

"You are not disposable to me," she said matter-of-factly. "Yes, as my subject, you are to follow my orders. However, as your leader, it is my responsibility to not put you at unnecessary risk. I don't want to do anything like that to you unless there are not any better options."

That said, she needed to figure out if the other option was more viable here. Striking a deal with the Duke would be extremely risky. She didn't know enough about him to know what he would consider reasonable and approaching to ask for one would put the advantage to him. He would immediately know he had something she wanted. Now, if he approached her, she could control the situation far better. But a free royal favor? That was dangerous.

Especially when the royal in question was the unmarried heir to the throne. By virtue of being the princess, she was a highly sought-after prize that had yet to be won. Something that quite a few others in the nobility watched closely.

Even if he didn't want that for himself or a strategic family member, there were a great many other favors that could cause huge ripples throughout the political landscape.

But if Duedephelon's plan worked, they could be in and out with everyone none-the-wiser and they would have everything without it being censored, and Duke Flauros may even owe her if she played the distraction game right.

Have You notice that the powerscaling of the fallen (goetia demons) is all over the place, as in it doesn't match and sometimes it contradicts the hierarchy in the goetia. example, flauros is supposed to be a subordinate of andras, in smt, andras is weaker than flauros (with smt i be the most egregious example where andras is the weakest fallen while flauros is the strongest) atleast ukobach is consistently one of the weakest of the fallen

What is the source for Flauros being a subordinate of Andras? I can only find it on random, unsourced wikis (like MT's). Granted, there are a lot of grimoires out there that I'm not familiar with that could possibly suggest such a relationship.

There's also that Andras is a Marquis while Flauros is an inferior-ranked Duke but these titles have always felt pretty arbitrary to me except for the Kings, and in SMT the Goetic Kings tend to be Tyrants. Other than that, I don't think any of this matters too much. The Goetic ranks are mostly arbitrary and the Fallens' levels being equally arbitrary is just consistent to the source. And consistency itself is a rare beast with occult matters.

Gamers PB is either gonna have to bump some of the 72 up to L rank or give us a shit ton of S and A+ ranks cuz my god there's a lot, also I think I figured out how they split them in terms on ranking but I have no clue how they did the countries LMAO

I'm still in the early stages of this deep-dive so for all I know everything I'm about to say is completely and utterly wrong so please do not take my ramblings as fact my friends! It is more than likely completely wrong cuz I'm stupid :D This is also strictly following the Ars Goetia cuz that's pretty much all I know!

ANYWAYS, some of them have multiple classifications (ex. Zagan being classed as both a king and a president, so they'll show up twice but the 1st appearance is italics and underlined and 2nd appearance is bolded so you can see yes yes) so there's that! Anyways this is what I've determined so far, starting with the known ranks:

King - L/S/A+ (?): Asmodeus (L), Bael (S), Belial (S), Paimon (S), Zagan (A+)

Duke - S/A+: Dantalian (S), Eligos (A+), Astaroth (A+), Bathin (A+), Gusion (A+), Barbatos (A+), Valefor (A+)

Prince - S/A+: Sitri (S), Stolas (A+)

Marquis - S/A+: Amon (S), Leraye (S), Naberius (S), Orias (S), Andrealphus (S), Ronove (A+), Phenix (A+)

President - S/A+: Marbas (S), Foras (S), Glasyalabolas (A+), Morax (A+), Buer (A+), Zagan (A+)

So, you may be saying, "Ashdown U. Beloved, that's only 25 in the game/confirmed out of what number are we at? Where are Satan, Mammon, Bimet, Leviathan, Beelzebub, Lucifer, and Belphegor?" AND TO THAT I SAY: There is no mention of any of them in the Ars Goetia. Bimet doesn't even exist in anything I've seen so far. Now, it's possible this is just a super rare spelling of another demon (my suspicion is Beleth, another spelling of his name is Bilet so it might be possible that this is Bimet), but idk man someone help me on this one!

Something else I've noticed is damn near every Duke is an A+ rank despite the hierarchy of hell having them directly below Kings. Princes so far have a 50/50 shot of being either S or A+ (there's only two of them), while Marquis are overwhelmingly S rank. And now, for the rest of the 72 in the Ars Goetia! Once again got some double-dippers so I'll put them in italics and underlined first and bold second again and at the end of the listings, their rank will go with their lowest classification following what I'm calling the Zagan effect!

The rest of the classified Kings are: Beleth (Bimet?), Purson, Balam and Viné! Chances are they'll all be S rank, save for Viné.

The Dukes are: Agares, Aim, Alloces, Amdusias, Berith, Buné, Crocell, Flauros, Focalor, Gremory, Murmur, Sallos, Vapula, Vepar, Vual, and Zepar! I'd imagine they'd be following the Duke ranking of mostly A+ with a few S ranks! I would suggest that they decided by how many legions they command but Eligos commands 60 as opposed to Dantalian's 36 so there goes that idea lmao, gimme your thoughts on this one it's kinda whack.

The rest of the Princes!: Vassago, Orobas, Seere, Ipos and Gäap! Is it gonna keep being a 50/50 or are they gonna pull a sneaky on us? Who knows!

The Marquis! What's the plural of Marquis?: Samigina, Forneus, Marchosias, Sabnock, Shax, Andras, Kimaris, and Decarabia! Betting on mostly S ranks, maybe 2-4 A+ ranks from this batch!

And then we got the Presidents!: Haagenti, Caim, Ose, Amy, Valac, Botis, and Gäap! Not counting Morax and Glasyalabolas, we have 2 S ranks and 2 A+ ranks in the previous Presidents! Gäap will probably end up as an A+ alongside King-President Zagan!

Last but not least, the Counts: Furfur, Halphas, Räum, Bifrons, Murmur, Andromalius, Ipos, Botis, and Viné! So far, all of the Counts have been solely A+ rank! Will the surprise us, especially seeing and two of them are Prince-Counts and one is a King-Count? Maybe!

Now, we also have another conundrum! The fact that all of the canonical Kings except Asmodeus are NOT in the Ars Goetia yet are part of the 72 in-game (and maybe Bimet)! Hello, thank you. He is mentioned in the Goetia as the 64th demon, a Duke that may shift forms (including that of a leopard with flaming eyes, but not limited to that). However he is a noble power who imparts knowledge and understanding to those willing to listen. I believe that he chooses to show a different face to those approaching arrogantly, hence the Goetia description. In my experience he came floating as a slowly rotating pyramid with three sides, emanating light while surrounded in darkness. You can tell more about his character when reading the way he speaks.
