Chaos didn't always follow around Esma and her twin sister Isra. It all started when the girls were five. Their mother had always been slightly erratic, but when their father caught her having an affair with one of his best friends? He couldn't stand it anymore. Knowing Esma was the strongest of the pair, he left her and took Isra with him. This ended up with Esma taking on her mother's verbal abuse, and her mom turning to alcohol. Eventually, she remarried and her stepfather was just as bad.

As she grew into her teen years, Esma began attention seeking, drinking, drugs, and hanging out with people she shouldn’t. Her mother began to get fed up with her, kicking her out when she was 16. This caused her to drop out of high school, couch surfing at her best friend's place; his laid-back parents kindly let her. But it was trouble, she was slowly falling for his girlfriend, and she was falling for her too. It wasn’t very long before they were sneaking around together and she was stuck in some very messy affair that carried on for nearly two years. Funnily enough, it had been the only bit of stability that Esma had ever had.  

Tragedy struck when he got into a car accident and passed away on the scene. The girls had been together that night so when they heard the news they both felt an immense amount of guilt. Esma was unable to contain it; hitching a ride to San Fransisco and never looking back.  She had no money, no nothing, but being somewhat street smart, Esma broke into an empty apartment to live in while she tried to build up some cash. It wasn’t long until she was caught and kicked out so she had to find a new plan. 

Esma still spent most of her time drinking and doing drugs, anything to escape the grief she’d endured over the last couple of years. Finding different bodies to fill the void, until she came across a chef who worked at one of San Fran’s most prestigious restaurants. He was older than her, he had money, and he seemed nice enough so she went home with him, charming her way into his life.  It was only six weeks later she was staring at a positive pregnancy test in the bathroom of his restaurant. It was positive and he was thrilled. Esma couldn’t really picture herself as a mother but her life had been flipped upside down, maybe now she was finally going to feel some sort of happiness. He flew her to Vegas and they got married. 

Only a short time went by before it all started crumbling. Esma experienced a late-term miscarriage shortly after their wedding day. Things turning more sour than they ever could have with her new husband blaming everything on her. Esma had always been strong but not anymore, not after this. She began to believe the words he fed her. It wasn’t long before he was laying hands on her either. She was miserable. When Esma had enough instead of leaving she began to retaliate. This carried on for years until she couldn’t take it anymore, when she found out he got his mistress pregnant, it was over. Esma cooked her husband a nice dinner and laced it with rat poison, then once he was knocked out, she went to the nearest ATM, to withdraw all the money in their joint account, winding back up in Aurora Bay. 

The first thing she did was find a house in Fishers Cove and the next thing she did was find a job at the Four Leaf Irish pub, hoping to forget about everything she had endured. With too much evidence against him, she knew he wouldn't come looking for her. She finally felt strong again.

Frankie Hollingsworth most defiantly had the childhood that anyone would dream of. Being born with a silver spoon in her mouth, she never had to worry about her allowance running out or having to wear the same outfit twice. The Hollingsworth’s are quite the notable name within Toronto and they have no problem flaunting it.

Being a Hollingsworth meant that there had always been pressure put on her to be the best daughter she could be. Even from an early age, she was involved in many activities. They ranged from pageants, ballet, dance, and cheerleading. A day off was non-existent to her. 

Once she got to High School, she wanted to branch out and try not to live such a sheltered life. Sparks flew when she began to crush on a boy at Degrassi. Someone her parents would most defiantly not approve of, but there was something about him that she was drawn to. So, the pair began to see one another in secret.

Honestly, it felt like the script from a cheesy rom-com, but it was everything to the young girl. This was truly the first guy that really paid attention to her and made her feel special, what teenage girl wouldn’t adore such attention? They dated for several months and at the age of sixteen, she lost her virginity to him. 

Their relationship was put to halt when one of their maids had found a positive pregnancy test while cleaning Frankie’s bathroom. The discovery resulted in a huge fight with her parents, her mom and dad appalled by their daughter’s actions.  

As a punishment, young Frankie was forced to spend her junior year hidden away at a family friend’s vacation home to finish out her pregnancy. Nobody could know about this, it would simply tarnish the family reputation.

She gave birth to a beautiful baby girl who was put up for adoption. Frankie hasn’t had any contact with her child, the adoption being a closed one. 

The adoption defiantly caused a strained relationship with her parents, something she is still trying to work on

Flash forward a few years, Frankie graduated and is currently a freshman at Toronto University. She is excited for the new chapter in her life but is also nervous! College is kind of scary

She is majoring in business and minoring in culinary art. Frankie is very passionate about baking and her career goal is to open up her own bakery within Toronto.

GEN2 & 3: Rose & Yellow

Topaz e Emília se casaram numa pequena cerimônia privada e logo em seguida começaram os planejamentos para uma família grande e feliz. As duas decidiram fazer uma loucura que consistia em adotar uma criança e ao mesmo tempo ambas engravidarem de doadores e foi o que aconteceu.

A gravidez de Topaz foi bastante tranquila já que ela frequentemente se exercitava e comia bem, já Emília durante o processo desenvolveu pré-eclâmpsia e teve uma gravidez de maior risco.

A primeira criança a chegar na família Rainbow foi Angélica, uma Berry extremamente comilona que foi abandonada por seus pais. Logo em seguida chegaram Dulce e Quartzo que nasceram no mesmo dia e eram basicamente "gêmeas". Devido aos métodos pra lá de evoluidos da fertilização, Dulce obteve características de uma berry mista, tendo pele e olhos de uma mãe e cabelo da outra sendo uma bela mistura das duas, já Quartzo era uma Berry pura e cinzenta assim como Emília.

Enquanto isso na casa ao lado Rubi envelhecia e tornava-se idosa. Ela recentemente tinha engatado um belo romance com um de seus ex namorados dos tempos de colégio e eles haviam decidido que finalmente ficariam juntos fazendo uma pequena cerimônia para a família.

Com tudo isso acontecendo e com as três novas filhas que Topaz tinha ela e sua esposa decidiram se mudar para uma casa nova no mesmo bairro em que viviam, tornando assim a convivência com Rubi fácil e dando as meninas um lar maior. -------------------------------------------------- Topaz and Emilia were married in a small private ceremony and soon after began planning for a large and happy family. The two decided to do something crazy that consisted of adopting a child and at the same time both getting pregnant from donors and that's what happened.

Topaz's pregnancy was quite peaceful as she often exercised and ate well, while Emilia during the process developed pre-eclampsia and had a higher risk pregnancy.

The first child to join the Rainbow family was Angelica, an extremely gluttonous Berry who was abandoned by her parents. Soon after, Dulce and Quartz arrived, who were born on the same day and were basically "twins". Due to the highly evolved methods of fertilization, Dulce obtained characteristics of a mixed berry, having skin and eyes from one mother and hair from the other being a beautiful mixture of the two, whereas Quartz was a pure and gray Berry just like Emilia.

Meanwhile, in the house next door, Rubi aged and became old. She had recently engaged in a beautiful romance with one of her high school ex-boyfriends and they had decided that they would finally be together doing a little ceremony for the family.

With all this happening and with the three new daughters Topaz had, she and his wife decided to move to a new house in the same neighborhood they lived in, thus making living with Rubi easy and giving the girls a bigger home.

tonimarie rose andrews, otherwise known as toni, was born in portland, maine. she grew up with both her parents, her twin sister, and her younger brother. she was girl that would go out of her way for anyone and was the sweetest girl anyone had met. a real southern belle, minus the accent. she grew up really close to her family, especially her twin sister. all throughout school, she played softball, and eventually was crowned prom queen and valedictorian. on the other hand, there was this spiritual side about her that she couldn’t explain. she decided to collect tarot cards and other items associated with the wicca religion as a way to explain some of the spiritual experiences that she has had that she can not explain. so while she may have looked like the sweet typical southern woman, but there were parts about her that didn’t add up. 

after graduation, she went to columbia after high school to study pharmacology. she decided that she wanted to study medicine and this was just the way that spoke to her. she was really into science and math in high school so that pushed her decision towards pharmacology. that was until she dropped out her sophomore year. she dropped out because she suffered from a miscarriage her sophomore year. she never told the person who got her pregnant that she was pregnant in the first place and she certainly never told him that she lost the baby. she dropped out because the loss was too much for her to handle that she started getting behind on her school work, showing up late to classes or just not showing up at all. she was finding any vice in her life that would help her to either be numb or feel again. eventually, she found herself diagnosed with depression. while used medication for a period of time, she didn’t like the way that she felt and decided to go off of them. after that, she finds her own way of feeling, by her own control.  after dropping out, she ended up living in new york afterward. she stayed for two years where she worked at a diner as a waitress. after those two years, filled with so much misery, she began a friendship with a woman that became her rock. she couldn’t feel happy without indulging in something, until she met her. while it started out as a friendship, eight months later, they started a relationship where they were together for almost a year. it was a good almost a year too. that was until the woman broke her heart by cheating on her. and then again, cue the pain. she was hurt in a whole different way. the world felt so lonely to the woman, and it still does. 

while she was with her now ex-girlfriend, she quit her job as a waitress and found something that was much more her speed, working as a florist in a local flower shop. she wasn’t the same toni when she left to go to columbia. she was filled with so much sadness, lost her ambition, and spends so much of her time feeling numb. the only thing that she has been doing to feed her purpose other than working at cloud wine is coaching girl’s softball. it brought her back to a time where she was so happy and nothing was ruined. she had her whole life ahead of her and nothing could have gone wrong. not to mention, it reminded her of the little girl that she was unable to give birth too, and the things that she could teach her if she had gotten the opportunity too. she still hasn’t completely gotten over the lost of her baby. even though she was in school, she was so ready to be a mother. 

now, toni is living in staten island, so much different than the girl that she was when she left. when she’s not working at the flower shop or spending time coaching girl’s softball, she can be found giving quite the performance as an exotic dancer. she hardly cared for anything anymore, so she might as well make a little spending cash. she is living day to day with excitement. maybe not as happiness and light with the woman that she once was, but still enough to not completely show the tragedies that have happened to her. no one knew that toni was with her ex-girlfriend in new york, no one knows that she had a miscarriage except for her ex-girlfriend and unless toni has told you or you’re a client at the club, no one knows she’s a dancer either. the girl who once had no secrets, is now filled with them. 

small additional facts; 

-- toni is obsessed with plants. truly, she had a green thumb. you can find a variety of them all over her house. they make up pretty much all of the decor in her house. 

-- toni has a black cat named zelda, whom of which is her pride and joy. she has had her since her freshman year of college.

-- although she isn’t the same bubbly person she once was, she still upholds that personality to everyone for the most part. she can certainly be a little wishy-washy when it comes to interacting with other people. 

-- she is such a hopeless romantic who falls in love too easily, but is too afraid to admit it so she ‘plays it cool’ whenever she gets the chance too. 

-- currently, her favorite artist’s are halsey, ed sheeran, dua lipa, the weeknd, and demi lovato
