Personality: 

Wandering spirit is the best phrase to describe Dragin’s behavior.   Dragin is a person of intense curiosity and a seeming never ending wander lust.   He is not the type of person that is satisfied staying in one place for too long and is known for taking random journeys simply because he felt like it.   Dragin is confident individual and speaks in a calm, controlled tone that reflects this attitude.  He does manage to keep this trait from becoming blind pride or arrogance, though he sometimes forgets that his capabilities have made things fairly easy for him resulting in moments of insensitivity for those lacking it though it’s not malice intent more of just of not thinking about it because it was so easy for him.

Because of his nature as a wanderer and as an adventurer he has a tenacity to come off to most people that don’t know him as irresponsible and self-centered.  As he has a tenacity to avoid getting involve things that either bore him or considers uninteresting.   In reality though, Dragin is simply cautious on when he uses his somewhat unusual power or for what purpose he allows it to be used for.  

Dragin has a tenacity to play dumber then he actually is, often times resorting to nonsensical metaphors and circular arguments to avoid discussing things he doesn’t feel like or to derail the conversation.   In reality, Dragin is quite intelligent and has studied a wide range of subjects during his travels especially in the area of history and lore.   His reason for acting the way he does is not entirely understood.

Dragin is very much an outsider in both view and perspective.  He dwells very little on social norms and expectations as such his views often differ heavily from those around him.   Though he is heavily connected to the Zuratonar Republic, he doesn’t view himself as a member of any nation nor the politics surrounding them.  Though this sometimes results of him not being favorable with the elites and he has a poor reputation among most especially in Zuratonar it allows him to address a wider range of people in his travels.   It also makes him more will to ignore certain laws if he feels there is a good reason to do so.

Background:

Very little of Dragin’s early life is known, even to him.   When Dragin was a child his village was caught in the cross fire between the Grand Dragons and the armies of the Syn-Union.   After being chased down by one of the Syn-Union’s horse-like beasts.   Dragin’s Wavcite power awoke allow him to escape the beast but at the cost of his early memories.  

With his new power in hand, Dragin made his way to the Syn-Union capital mostly surviving by stealing food which his power made quite easy.  Eventually, he was spotted by the local authorities.   Dragin managed to escape the guards by becoming a stowaway on ship setting sail for the Zuratonar Republic.   Though he was caught by the crew, another twist of fate occurred and he was vouched for by Masaki Hino, headmaster of the Hino School of War, who took interest in the unusual presence the boy possessed and decided to escort Dragin to the capital city of Zuratonar.   Masaki would take Dragin to his home as the Hino School of War where Dragin would remain for several years and started his longtime friendship with Masaki’s youngest daughter, Bianca.

Dragin remained at the School of War and began to implement his power into the school techniques developing a rather unique fighting style for himself and developing his powers even further.   As he started into his teen years, Masaki with the assistance of the Guardianship of Light had discovered the location of one of Dragin’s relatives, and much older sister.    Dragin traveled to the location only to discover it was in the midst of an attack by southern Daezon Raiders.   Dragin did discover his older sister, who recognized him briefly begging him to help her daughter before she passed away.  

Dragin found the girl, Aura, already injured on one side of her face by the lead marauder which was one of the first time Dragin had been driven to rage.   Dragin does not recall what happened in the moment, but by the time the fight was over, the Marauder was gone only leaving behind a charred axed and several burnt buildings.   It was that moment that Dragin realized the nature of his power was more primal then he could begin to understand and decided to train himself to control his emotions to ensure he never lost control of them in that manner again.

As time went on after the events Dragin continued to train at the School of War becoming one of their top students during his third year.   However, the longer Dragin continued to train the more he grew discontent with the idea of the life of a soldier and servitude.   An escape from that fate opportunity soon came at a youth tournament, which with his unique power he was able to sweep with ease. 

Generally the winner of this tournament would be considered for the Guardianship or the Military.   However in a shock to most involved Dragin instead asked for early admission into the Zuratonar’s Adventurer Guild, with that rite would grant Dragin the ability to travel anywhere he wished.   A decision that would drive a wedge between himself and the most of the Hino family, outside of Bianca and Masaki, once he dropped from the School of War shortly before the start of his fourth year taking Aura with him.

A few years went by and Dragin began to experience some side effects of his power and seemed to be losing control of it.   In an effort to address the problem, he visited the Neorai Research Center.   With the help of the headmaster of the Research Academy, Doctor Dorison Messiza, and his former master they traveled to an ancient Neoran Research Lab.  There after a facing a trial against the ancient technological security system, they secured a sealed uniformed designed to protect against Wavcite attacks.   Though they could not repair it with the technology they had they were able to make some alterations using Runic Arts in place of the ancient device to surprising successful results.

As Dragin continued to travel with his niece, his success rate in missions and the ancient uniform he wore, eventually gave him a unique reputation as an adventurer.   People began to refer to Dragin as ‘The Neorai Legacy”.   During their travels in the warmer regions of Elemos, Aura was saved from a monster by a semi-feral boy by the name of Vincent Erdano.   Vincent, who became impressed by Dragin’s power decent to follow along with them, often times referring to himself as Dragin’s apprentice much of Dragin’s dismay.

At this time, Dragin and the two youths whereabouts are currently unknown as they left on a journey without leaving any indication of where they were going.
