Will's sleep wasn't quite dreamless, just dark with various staccatos of color every once in a while, startling him badly and making him whine in his stupor. Will calmed himself down, clutching his own hand hard enough to bruise, hard enough to get through this, before opening his eyes again and letting them adjust to the light.
