It’s incredible how I love every single woman in this show. Dr Emery Walsh showed up for three scenes looking like the fourth Haim sister and being mean to everybody who crossed her and she immediately found a friend in me. I’m charmed. I love her. My favourite surgeon, she better come back in season 2 to argue with Abbot over a patient with a firework in their ass.

I think 100% of the dynamic with Walsh and Abbot is that they’re both vets but they’re different branches. He’s like an army medic and she’s like a navy surgeon.

They have built-in respect but also pre-existing beef and completely different approaches to medicine.

I've been rewatching the episodes, and I just realized that mohan and walsh have encountered each other before, like when mohan did the burr holes with the io. she had beef with mohan then, and what abbot and mohan did made it extra worse.

I have so many thoughts rn.

god there's so much. so much little details about the night crew doctors i want them all.

first dr ellis. she was mentioned by robbie in previous episodes that she tends to come in early. and she does. "put in me coach!" she strikes me as someone who's first to enter the er and last to leave. someone who has to be pulled away from work because it tends to consume her. kinda of like her work is her life.

next dr walsh. "give me a challenge". someone who purposely selects the hardest cases on the excel sheet. she was tuning out robby during his speech and im taking with that and hc-ing that she's probably been through an MCI before. and that she was also the acting head er surgeon then.

then dr shen. asking about holidays off. was just a resident three months ago. he's become an attending physican and it still hasnt sunk into him fully. glued to that dunkin cup. rightfully so.

then last dr abbott. what were you doing with a police scanner sir. also youre probably ex-military. giving that heart wrenching condolence letter to the family of the vet and saying the er is like an active combat zone. god two of our attendings are going through so much ptsd.

Walsh has almost certainly pavloved Abbot into responding to her hair being up or down.

Do we think Abbot and Walsh had a thing once upon a time? And by „thing” I mostly mean fucking in a bathroom.

the thing that doesn't make sense to me regarding the "he was putting her career on the line" POV is that there's no previous behavior from abbot that makes that believable to me. abbot faked a teenager's exams (w/o her knowledge) so she could get an abortion, told another doctor said teenager was getting back for the pills and didn't seem to care that robby could very easily find out what he did, reprimanded but immediately praised santos for doing a risky procedure she wasn't allowed to and took every opportunity he got to do procedures the hospital board wouldn't allow on the daily. nothing from his behavior told me he would put someone else's career on the line with something we were shown he's very capable of doing. add that to mohan's arc this season and the possibility of that POV being the case becomes nonexistent to me. it never even crossed my mind before checking what people were saying about the episode. i read it as a joke bc nothing else shown would tell me it wasn't.

comparing it to robby and david's situation: it was Not a surprise how robby reacted after david was proven innocent from the shooting. he was a bit more asshole-ish to how he'd probably react in a normal day, especially after a breakdown, but where he stood on the whole situation was not new. we were shown and told robby could react like that; we were shown and told abbot didn't care about what could happen to him or his career if a patient's health was on the way

OG Falsettos casts Revival Falsettos in an old playbill article.

Well, one of them guessed right. It probably helped that Michael did two previous shows with Christian, during which Christian fangirled about Falsettos and Marvin. It is really cute that he did think of him.
