Incorrect quotes: OC edition

Here a few incorrect quotes for my characters!

Eloise: I'm not gay for Nimue!

Lucian: Listen, Eloise. I’ve been gay for more than 200 years now. You can’t convince me that you aren’t gay for her.

Eloise: Mhm…

*a few minutes later*

Eloise: Wait. You are WHAT!!?

Eoghan: Why is Lucian crying?

Nimue: Doyle said that Shakespeare isn’t even that good.

Lucian: *starts crying even louder*

Eoghan: Why are you drinking?

Ambrose: I drink when I'm depressed.

Eoghan: But you're always drinking?

Ambrose: *winks*

Doyle: Don't say a word.

Nimue: Fergalicious.

Doyle: Nimue, I said no words.

Nimue: Oh, I see how it works. Two weeks ago, we're playing Scrabble, it's not a word, now suddenly it is a word because it's convenient for you.

Eoghan: Swear words are illegal now. If you say one you'll be fined.

Nimue: Heck.

Eoghan: You're on thin fucking ice.

Eoghan: Oh no-

*Eloise and Lucian laughing in the distance*

Lucian: I never tell people off the bat that I'm gay. I wait. I wait untill they say some homophobic shit and then I laugh and am like "you know I'm gay right?"and watch the look of terror in their eyes.

Doyle:

Doyle: I like you.

Ambrose: You look like a corpse that was just pulled out of the river.

Nimue: Wrong. I look like a cool rockstar who just OD'd in their own pool. Big difference.

(This is funnier when you know that they all are ghosts and Nimue actually was drowned in a lake. So she's basically a corpse that was just pulled out of the river)

My line was: "You're dead to me."

Eloise: "I deeply apologise but I'm tired of all this. I won't and can't deal with your rubbish anymore. Goodbye."

Nimue: "After all I have done for you! Believe me I tried! I tried so hard to help you out of this! But you know what? I'm tired. I'm fucking tired of all this and most of all of you! Go! To! Hell!

Eoghan: "Don't talk to me, please. I can't bear the thought of you anymore. And I'll probably never will again."

Ambrose: "For god's sake please please go away!" His voice breaks and tears are running down his face. "Please, that's all I ask for. Leave me here drowning in my sorrows and never come back for me."

Lucian: "Just shut up and leave! I have enough! Go fuck yourself and die!" His dark eyes are glimmering with the anger he supressed so good for so long.

Doyle: "You better leave now" he sais calmly his voice dark and bitter.

<My OCs3

The first. Every name has a meaning that has something to do with the story.

Eloise: It means things like luck and health. She is the only human, and the only one without a tragic fate...

Ambrose: Means immortal. So as we know he's a ghost, but I chose the name because he's the one character that commited suicide and I just thought this was suiting for someone like him who rather welcomed death...

Nimue: Means lady of the lake. She's an orphan who's foster parents found her in a basket on a river. She died through drowning in the lake inside the garden of the mansion.

Eoghan: Means brave young warrior. I chose this name because through his height he looks like someone destined to fight epic battles. He's the most loyal one who would do everything for his friends even though he appears rather shy.

Lucian: This name means light. He is a sunshine character, the comedic relief and always appears happy and bubbly.

Doyle: Means dark stranger. He is a brooding and mysterious character who knows how to keep his secrets private so that even after over hundred years together his friends haven't found out much about him and his past.

Are you the writer who carefully chooses OC names for their meanings, or are you the writer who picks whatever sounds good?

Lucian. That boy has no sense of orientation.

5: Most likely to not realize that they are being flirted with

Ambrose. He has experienced too little love in his life to even think about someone liking him. Sad little baby 😭

16: Most likely to get arrested.

Nimue and Lucian!! They are so unserious and do dumb/illegal shit sometimes for fun. She would be arrested for insulting the cops.

18: Most likely to say I love you first

Eoghan. He's such a sweetie and just has the need to tell everyone how loved they are. Also almost all of his friends are traumatized teens. He's asexual so it's definitely only platonic "I love you"s but he isn't stingy with them.

Eoghan, with his hands over his ears: No.

Lucian shooing Ambrose away: Can you go be depressed over there? You're bumming out my whole area.

Nimue: What do rainbows mean to you?

Lucian: Gay rights.

Eloise: There's money.

Eoghan: The sign of God's promise to never destroy the whole earth with a flood.

Doyle: It is an optical phenomenon that seperates sunlight in it's continous spectrum when the sun shines on raindrops.
