Hey, I saw that you gave your Wimpod a Rincewind-inspired name too. May I ask what it is? Also, thanks for reblogging my drawing!

OH GOSH YOU PUT ME ON THE SPOT well you see my naming scheme for sumo started with bizarre inside jokes with myself–for example, my pikapek was named pompom because of that video where the toucan eats pomegranate seeds and then i made pomegranate repetitive like pikapek: pompom.

then the naming scheme kind of unravelled and turned into ‘pick a character that reminds me of this pokemon, then take one step to the left so it doesn’t make any sense’, which is what happened with my wimpod. i thought of rincewind, so the step to the left was twoflower, which was still too obvious, so i named it ‘dosflores’, which is twoflower’s (highly cute) translated name in the spanish version.

and no prob, your drawing was v cute! i love rincewind and wimpods and giving rincewind a wimpod is genius. if you ask me rincewind as a trainer would probably end up half and half, always stuck with a super overlevelled pokemon or two (a la the luggage or the spell) that’s always dragging him around and getting him into trouble way over his head, and the only pokemon he actually wants and adopts are little pathetic charity cases he can’t say no to. what a mess.

A veces creo que un hombre podría viajar por el Mundodisco toda la vida y, aun así, no vería todo lo que hay que ver -suspiró Dosflores-. Y ahora, parece que hay muchos mundos más. Cuando pienso que puedo morir sin haber visto ni una centésima parte de lo que existe, me siento... -hizo una pausa para buscar la palabra adecuada-. Bueno, humilde, sí.
