Honestly though, I love all of the happy theories where Zag is just living his best life in the sequel, but so busy with something else he can't be the main character of the game. But at the same time I also want some angst to start with and then have the happy Zag and Mel sibling moments. (Feel free to use and expand any of these ideas. Thinking about (Pan)Dora and Prometheus.

In my head he thought of her as a younger sister - she reminded him a lot of Epimetheus, in good and bad ways. She looked up to him in the same breath that she would pester him. All three of them lived together, and she would hear him singing in the mornings when she woke up curled around Epimetheus - he was always the early riser of the three of them.

She used to spend ages trying to find a way to startle him, and mostly just succeeded in making him laugh, which was enough.

She was there at his trial. She cried out for him, and no one heard.

Among the voices he missed the most, alone on the mountain, his awful little sister's voice was among the ones that hurt the most.

Crazy theory that I am 99.9% sure isn’t true but wouldn’t it be crazy if Dora was Pandora in Hades 2???

And that’s why she is more coherent than other most other Shades???
