I’m doing a series of drawings where I draw various characters in a pink apron, it’s inspired by Inspector Gadget (specifically the original 1983 version) where he iconically wears a pink, frilly apron OVER his trenchcoat. As seen in the episode Funny Money.

So, first up is Wilson from Don’t Starve. (Requested by my bestie @fincher-of-the-swamp ).

The httyd gang as characters from Don’t Starve Together!

(I’ve only played the game like once or twice and not very in depth, so apologies if I get anything wrong!)

Hiccup - I gave him a high base stat for health and hunger for two reasons. A. This motherfucker should’ve died so many times throughout the franchise, and we barely see him eat. B. Had to make up for the ridiculously low sanity I gave him. If you don’t find an efficient way to keep sanity from like. Day three. You’re fucked. Good in combat

-Enters the constant(game) with a torch

-Takes 1/2 of the normal damage when caught on fire

-Sanity increases when around animals.

-Lower detection range for hostile mobs

-Skittish mobs will not run away from him unless he starts attacking

-Will never grow a beard (for reference, shaving beards in don’t starve provides a slight sanity boost. So. Nope. No beard. Make game harder)

-Goes insane very quickly

Astrid - Average stats. Very good in combat.

-Enters the constant with a dagger

-Has a x1.25 damage multiplier when attacking with an axe

-Sanity boost when chopping down trees

-Cannot use long ranged weapons

-Constant sanity decrease during summer

-slight sanity decrease if stood too close to a heat source

Snotlout - Average stats. Fine in combat.

-If set on fire, will stop drop and roll to put himself out after 7 seconds

-Very Small sanity boost after eating anything

-Pigmen will not help him in battle ever.

-All mobs, even docile, have at least a 5% chance to randomly aggro on him.

Fishlegs - Average stats. Bad in combat.

-Enters the constant with 15 ‘info cards’ which can be used as substitutes for basic item crafting within the science machine.

-Sanity increase when dialogue about animals or plants is prompted

-When hostile mobs are nearby, will briefly freeze in place before being able to move again

-Refuses to jump through worm holes

Ruffnut- Average stats, Fine in combat. Good in combat when Tuffnut is nearby.

-Can eat spoilt food without any negative side effects

-Large sanity increase when playing with Tuffnut

-Sanity decreases if there is a Tuffnut being played on the server and they are not near each other

-When near each other, any damage taken will be spread evenly to both Ruff and Tuff. (E.g. Ruffnut is in combat and takes 10 damage, if Tuffnut is nearby they will both receive 5 damage)

-Sanity boost when near forest fire

Tuffnut - Average stats, Fine in combat. Good in combat when Ruffnut is nearby.

-Large sanity increase when playing with Ruffnut

-Sanity decreases if there is a Ruffnut being played on the server and they are not near each other

-When near each other, any damage taken will be spread evenly to both Tuff and Ruff. (E.g. Tuffnut is in combat and takes 10 damage, if Ruffnut is nearby they will both receive 5 damage)

-Vegetarian diet (Literally just based off that he won’t eat chicken. Makes his gameplay harder)

-Sanity boost when near forest fire

The twins gameplay is very much based around them being twins. It is an overall positive to play them as a two and not just have one. One will slowly go insane without the other.
