Can You Imagine Thinking Of, Making, And Posting A Video Like This And Believing That Other People Need Help And Not You?

If you dislike certain fictional content, characters, or ships, then you don’t have to, but don’t make a video essentially telling people who like fiction and are AntiHarassment to get help.

There’s nothing to get help for unless someone can’t differentiate fiction from reality and condones it in real life.

As much as I want to make fun of this video, I also don’t because I actually feel really bad for the person behind it.

I don’t want to make massive assumptions, and I don’t think others should either, but I’m actually a bit concerned about them because no one makes a video with a fucking title or thumbnail like that if they’re okay.

Either something is wrong, they wanted to trend hop and clout chase on a popular topic right now, or both.

Fandoms and shipping going mainstream on YouTube was a terrible, terrible mistake.

2025 Edit:

I was going to address this in a much larger post and I still plan to, but since this post is getting traction again I should really say something before this gets more out of hand and scary.

I can’t go into too much since I’m saving some of it for the larger post, but to put it simply I’m not upset at them leaving the ProShip community.

I actually don’t think it’s that much different from an AntiShipper becoming a ProShipper.

I’m upset at the wording used in the title and thumbnail. I just don’t like how they framed it.

The thumbnail made it sound like they’re talking about a disease or an addiction.

This goes without saying from me, but don’t harass the YouTuber behind this.

Not only is that against what ProShipping is about, It’s wrong and it’s gonna be bad for everyone involved.

The YouTuber behind it commented on my video and they seem really nice.

I didn’t like their video and their comment scared me, but they were kind so please don’t go after them.

I made a mistake and I’m sorry.

Please don’t harass the original creator of the video or me.

I plan to go more in depth about this post and others like in the future, but for now I’ll have to give you all this.

Do you know how discouraging it is for a creator to have people coming in the comment section telling how gross the thing you spent time on making is? It applies to everything on here, art, fics, gifs. It is bad enough that people do this in tags, although I don’t really see the point in reblogging something you clearly despise.

I make gifs of Aegon, I have people saying I’m glorifying a rapist. I make gifs of Nosferatu and I have people, who clearly never opened a piece of gothic literature, telling me it’s gross. Sorry, I’m not having that on the stuff I spend a lot of time on. State your opinion on your own blog. There are a lot of movies and tv shows I personally can’t stand and that I see on my dash on a daily basis, I don’t go in the comment section yelling how it sucks. I simply scroll.

【VIDEO】 Concerning Father H. Zemo & Sergeant J. B. Barnes (1943)

This is an idea I've had for a winterbaron WWII Priest AU for a while, but I wasn't honestly sure what I was going to do.

The clips sort of built the story as I went, creating their own narrative with how I was limited by the available snippets. Also on AO3: ( x )

Basic story after the cut

Zemo, the new chaplain, arrives for the 107th Infantry Regiment.

He also does some medic duties, which was normal for them in WW2.

Bucky is like "Huh, he's unexpectedly young and hot".

They bond a little.

Zemo has SOME LUSTFUL THOUGHTS about him. He fantasizes constantly but dismisses it.

He resists, but one day Bucky is injured and brought to the field hospital.

Bucky is like "Am... am I dying? Are you here to do the last rites? Man, I'm not even Catholic".

And Zemo is like, "No, I'm here to take care of you."

and Bucky's like "TAKE CARE OF ME, HUH?"

Anyways, they fuck in the medical tent that night.

They begin an on-again, off-again secret relationship where Zemo is CONSTANTLY breaking it off, out of religious guilt.

Bucky usually agrees it's for the best because they don't want to get a Section 8 blue discharge (what happened to LGBTQ+ people in the army at that time) but he's also very angsty about it every time.

They both keep giving in, always come back for more.

They fool around in fields near missions, in the showers after everyone's left, while all the others are downstairs in the bar.

Anywhere they can get the time and privacy.

Finally at one point, Zemo REALLY ends it.

He's certain he's sinning far too much, and his soul will be damned, and he'll also damn Bucky's soul as well.

Zemo actually asks for a transfer to another unit, and breaks it off. Bucky is heartbroken again.

There's an attack after Zemo leaves, and Bucky believes Zemo died, and spirals.

Zemo is actually fine, and staying with another unit, and taking the time to pray and repent in the church nearby, but he's in agony.

He misses Bucky.

Bucky finds out Zemo lived. He takes off from his assignment, against orders, and travels to the church where Zemo's unit is staying.

Zemo didn't even realize Bucky thought he was dead, and is taken aback by him showing up. He had assumed that Bucky would simply get over him, and it was better this way. Bucky actually showing up throws a wrench into his own plans to move on.

Bucky gives him an emotional speech about how much he loves him. He tells Zemo not to worry about his immortal soul, but if he's so concerned, maybe he can scold him privately.

Zemo can't resist his words, and they make love in a confession booth.

Zemo gets up that night, and wanders through the church to sit alone.

Bucky gets up to confront him.

He gives Zemo a speech about how if he doesn't want God to see what he is, he can stifle that part of himself, but he'll always regret it.

THE END

(in my mind, they run away together, and the war ends and they live happily ever after)

This is what I believe.

Tom and Zawe met while doing Pinter at the Pinter with Jaime Lloyd. They had seen each other at events since they’re both apart of the same circle. Then they did Betrayal in London and NYC and Tom was feeling like maybe I should go for someone not in the spotlight since his last relationship was so public. Then the pandemic and he was stuck with her. She gets pregnant and he does the right thing. Now they’re co-parenting. They’re never going to get married. They’re keeping up appearances so they don’t go through a public firestorm. He’s been burned by the public. So he left sm and doesn’t talk about his private life. His fans don’t even know he has a kid because he never talks about it.

I believe the relationship was too fast and the pandemic didn’t help anyone at the time. Being in relationships at the time and stuck indoors with each other, sure does make up for a lot of time being wasted and I do think it was more of a thing that developed based on the pandemic and being stuck together, rather than normal dating and whatever.

And yes, many of his fans don’t know he has a kid or even is with Zawe. They have the more obsessive fans that I have been dealing with on here, telling them about it. And Tom was really ran through by those fans and media for the Taylor Swift stuff, not to mention the speech at the GGs. Really sad how people can turn on him instantly and blame him but don’t see fault in others. Not saying Tom is perfect, he isn’t, he is human.

But many of the obsessed fans call him perfect because they see face value, not what goes on without the cameras. Anyway,
