anyways uh im happy with their design and how far ive progressed with it and my art too i suppose.

yes hyde still has the fashionable red boots and the cool sparkly cape. just thats not their main outfit anymore

a few more pieces of chonar concept, character, and creature art. The farm of Mehdepulah's famous historical castle is much more extensive than this, but an entire city is built around it. when i design the city and landscapes of mehdepulah I can design the farm more clearly. it hasn't changed a lot in like 2,000 yrs

the kekanid with the shapeshifting tail is a revived oc from when I was 10-11 and learning abt frogs. this guy is based on the golden poison dart frog and the mutation effects Ribeiroia flatworms have on tadpoles. i think I named him seth? Idr. but he has a kinda parasyte relationship w his worm. he can turn any of his limbs into huge weapons with multiple sets of eyes, fingers, teeth, etc

the cows and big dogs are studies of what livestock would look like on mehdepulah and iesulvia respectfully

sketches i made while working on a new design for rosiun. oh and anosi is there bc they needed a final design too

rosiun is a friendly trendercore rabbit/domai with reality-warping glitch powers. xe used to be good friends with chon (formerly sean) until they separated due to anosi's cult and his father bufo's abuse unto both of them. a lot of rosiun's scariest and most powerful glitches come from all the times xe had to fight for xyr life during confrontations with bufo. xe'll be a very important character during the search for the truths behind the ascended ones

when i first came up with faer, rosiun's glitch powers were very retro video game inspired (pacman, duck hunt, etc) but the two sketches of faer face getting flipped and stretched up are analog horror inspired lol

oh and domai are an original species ive been developing for around the same time i ever came up with bright shadows. they're these draconic aliens that are actually related to the carnivoran mammal-like creatures of chonar. they are neither caniform or feliform but a Secret Third Thing (it would just be called domiformia if they lived on earth)

Officially? That depends on Habbit! If you mean for personal art, I guess it depends... I'm still not caught up with the story yet. If Domay and Volund could get along, then why not? :)
