I did these a while ago, but I wanted to develop Morgan's artstyle! Though her main focus is on typography and layout, she does illustration from time to time

Her style is defined by a lot of shape synthesis, abstraction, earthy tones, and rounded corners. I feel like she's the type to use vector art for digital, and acryllic for traditional. Probably the type of traditional artist that meticulously uses a lot of tools like t-squares, compasses, etc, to get her shapes as exact as possible

Morgan Chambers, from the web-comic "Dom and Mor" by dyemelikeasunset (tumblr)! Morgan is a graphic designer (focusing on typography), who has struggled with her self-esteem and mental/emotional health, but is an incredibly sweet girl, with a fun/silly side, and a sort of "gentle" kind of strength. Her story is a slice-of-life, about her relationship with fashion model Dom (they're both totally head-over-heels and very dedicated), how they care for each other during difficult times, make each other happy, recover from previous issues, figure out how to deal with new problems between life and work, and get to know each other's friend groups/family. We really get to see Mor's life "expand" in depth, and so many little beautiful details with her character make her seem so "real" (her fashion style, her sense of humor, her hobbies/talents, and unique little physical features). The backstory of how they met is more intense, involving very painful times in their lives (shown with intricate illustrations, giving shape and texture to very raw emotions), but it leads Dom and Mor to their much happier, and much deserved, life together; a ghost story that becomes a love story. Mor herself is kind and charming, resilient, clever and creative, a deep-thinker, considerate, and just very CUTE! (other info; she's an American Jamaican lesbian~)

this was supposed to go up during the anniversary month but happy 1 year anniversary to my friend @dyemelikeasunset comic Dom & Mor! i found out about this comic and met them last year through instagram and they’ve been such a amazing and caring person to get to know and have been a big inspiration into getting me to try comic making! the first 1 is recent Christmas gift art and the last 2 are part of a commission for Naf circa July 2023. thank you for sharing your babygirls with the world and letting us see how brilliant and sweet they are as a couple 🥺💕💖
