surprise surprise, it's Kalinka again! except I redressed her!! she is my chronologically oldest BJD, an SDCute Kaede made in 2004 for Volks Dolpa 11. I bought her secondhand on Den of Angels sometime around 2016. she has a beautiful custom faceup that looks professional, but I never found out which artist did it.

I bought these big wings from Zozone at Dolpa, and only finally now tried them on Oberon. They attach with bendy parts that go around his shoulders, so luckily I can use the boa (that I also got at dolpa) to hide that. They are also gigantic so I can only really put them on him when he’s not in the doll cabinet.

Originally I planned to make two Oberons - both volks sdf75s, one based on the cutesy one-off I like (Ie this guy) and one with standard Dark makeup looking super goth. But I realised what was meant to be the cutesy Oberon could look plenty sinister at the right angle so he’s ended up a blend of the two. I’ll need to get him a darker wig and a blue crown too.

I’d also love to find black jointed hands if those exist to try to make him his one funky bug hand. His funky bug feet/heels are beyond my skill level though lol.

Anyway, he also looks good with accessories, the butterfly earrings are from Scarlet Alice at Dolpa and the little bee brooch was a gift made by my friend alamort/@heliogabalvs

Almost packed. Still feeling down but a little better than this morning. Actually getting my dolls down to try to figure out which ones I'm taking to Dolpa did a lot of good actually even with the revelation that the pleather on a pair of pants has decided to flake and die, RIP. I should get them down more often. It's too hard these days to go out and find photo spots but just holding them is soothing....
