Kinda funny that both my shape shifters can shape shift into other people but they can't do it completely.
Dojo stays green and Shifter has her purple mane/hair and green eyes, as well as her collar as jewelry.
#Out of Geo#Neither one of them could shape shift to mimic someone#yet they are still shape shifters#Dojo's always gonna be green#And Shifter always has her mane eye color and her translation collar#Shifter can at least pull off being human though#Dojo can't

summary ; decorating a tree with demetri :)
warnings ; language, the tree in question is for Christmas but if you celebrate another holiday, it's a little tradition for you and demetri :)), reader is supposed to be shorter (at least an inch or two if you're as tall/taller than him) for stupid plot purposes , supposed to take place between s5-6 I think
word count ; 626

"D, this is the second part, not that one"
"It has to be this one! The plugs don't match up with that one,"
You groan, throwing your head back. Who knew setting up a Christmas tree would be so hard? Poor Sensei LaRusso and Sensei Lawrence wouldn't be too happy with all the fake pine tree needles covering the floor.
You and Demetri always offered to set up and decorate the Christmas tree at the Miyagi-Do / Miyagi-Fang dojo when winter had rolled around. The others had their fun with tinsel, lights, and little decorations while you and Demetri would stay late to set up the tree. Every year on top of that, you'd do a little secret Santa type thing and flat out get gifts for everyone you loved most, hence the tree.
"It's this one, D, I promise,"
Demetri sighs, setting the third tier down to grab the one you held out for him, which yes, did end up being the second tier you needed. You hold down the base for him, helping him snap the pieces together.
"See?" you smile, trying to playfully annoy him
"Yeah, I see," he replies, rolling his eyes sarcastically
You giggle, getting the third tier up for him, then the fourth. After a small celebration, you'd gotten the tree lit up, and the floor swept.
Now, time for decorating the damn thing. You break out the box of ornaments, tinsel, fake branches, and the star, organizing them inside the box of which went first. Branches, tinsel, ornaments, then the star.
The little branches went in without a problem, nicely and neatly scattered across the surface of the tree. The silver tinsel itched your fingers as you wrapped it around the fake plant, but it was on without a problem.
Then came ornaments. You were too short to reach near the top, even with the shit steps tool Johnny let you borrow. With Demetri on it, he could barely get the star on top. So it was a bit of a struggle fighting to get the star on and handing ornaments up to him so he could get the surface area filled.
The ornaments in question ranged in color, from red and green to silver with a multitude of patterns. Some were covered in glitter, some with 3d designs on them of various shapes, some with painted on stripes and polka dots. Thankfully, you hadn't ended up accidentally tilting the tree over like last year. Yeah, that was a fucking mess.
"I think that one should go more toward the left, the other in the middle-ish"
"Okay. This good?"
"Left a bit- good. Right there"
"Wait, this one doesn't have a hook"
"Fuck, I don't think we have more hooks"
"Shit"
You stand behind Demetri as he raises the star above his head, standing on his tippy-toes to shove the decoration on the top of the tree. You hold your arms open, ready in case he ended up falling backwards because of his unstable balance. You had to make sure Sensei LaRusso never found out that Demetri was wildly out of balance, he'd probably get Johnny to try and smack some sense back into him. All jokes.
At last, Demetri hooked the star onto the tree. Hooray.
"Look good?" he asks, returning his feet to a flat position.
You nod. "Looks perfect"
He steps down onto the floor, wrapping an arm around your shoulders. He presses a chaste kiss to your temple, then rests his head against yours. You tilt your head to the side, matching him.
"I think I'm gonna get Robby a new skateboard, now that I'm thinking about gifts..."
"I've been thinking of getting Eli those books he wanted, if you wanna to shopping together?"
"Yeah, sure"

How To Tame A Sorcerer (77)
Series Master list
"We have to help Gojo-sensei!" Yuta clutches his jacket and thrusts his other hand in the air. The temperature of the dojo drops. "Something isn't—"
"He's just fucking," Shippo says with a yawn. "Mama forgot to put up a barrier. It's fine." He cracks his neck and then looks over at InuYasha. "Looking a little green there, InuYasha. Mad Mama ain't give you no play?" Shippo crackles.
"Fuck off, Shippo." InuYasha sheathes his sword and stalks towards the door. "Don't fucking follow me. I need some air." He slams the door shut, and the sound reverberates throughout the room.
Uh...
Yuta touches his face. Did the dojo get hotter? It was cold and now the heat is unbearable. Shippo is joking around like he always does. Gojo-sensei isn't doing that. Not when there is planning, training, or searching for Sukuna to be done. "Shippo, I thought Kagome-san was going to give Gojo-sensei a boost. Is that what's going on?" Has to be. These fluctuations are because Gojo-sensei's energy is being boosted. He winces and struggles to regulate his breathing.
The energy is oppressive. It feels as though someone turned on gravity and increased it by five.
"I mean, she is?" Shippo whistles when the lights go out. His eyes glow and there is something eerie about only seeing Shippo's green eyes in the dark. "But they're definitely fucking too. You can't smell it or hear it because you're just a human. But enough about Mama and Papa. Pull out your sword. You still got some ways to go." Shippo snickers. "Not that sword."
"I can't see—shit!" Yuta dodges. A bead of sweat drips down his brow. "I thought your fire was blue," he says, unsheathing his sword. The room is illuminated with fire embers and... snow?
"My fire is blue." Shippo hums. "On second thought. We should talk to Sesshomaru. This isn't me and unless Papa controls the elements, this isn't him or Mama, either. Come on, just focus on the sound of my footsteps. This is good practice."
Yuta fails to see how this is good practice, but he focuses on the sound of Shippo's footsteps and re-sheathes his sword. The hallway is cold. He shivers and clenches his fists. His legs are freezing, and it feels as though he is moving through a mountain of snow. Wait. This is snow. There's snow in the hallway.
"Shippo, are we under attack?" There's another fluctuation of Gojo-sensei's energy and Yuta has to grit his teeth to stop Rika from wanting to manifest. Okay, maybe not an attack, but it sure feels like one.
"Attack?" Shippo chortles. "Please. Not with Mama reinforcing the barriers around this place. Nah, whatever is going on is probably because of the energy fluctuations coming from her room. That's why we're gonna talk to Sesshomaru."
Yuta nods, and even that takes a lot out of him. His jaw is growing numb and just when he thinks his body cannot handle the cold any longer, the flames grow bigger. He breathes a sigh of relief. Is it too late for him to find his way back to his shared room and soak in the hot spring?
"So, Sesshomaru-sama will know why this is happening?"
"More like we could use this to our advantage. Maybe. Depends on who is doing this." Shippo motions to the floor, to the melting snow. "It's slowing you down, so it could slow down other sorcerers. Or demons."
"Demons!" Yuta coughs. "Sorry, I thought we were just worried about Sukuna and Kenjaku?"
Shippo shrugs. "Well..."
"Well?"
"Sesshomaru!" Shippo shouts, pushing the doors open to what must be Sesshomaru's room. Yuta frowns. Is Shippo not going to answer the question? He brought up the demons, not Yuta. If they have to fight demons too, then that complicates things even further.
"You track snow into this Sesshomaru's room."
"Ah, well, snow happens." Shippo strolls into the room as though he owns it and plops down onto the white sectional. "So, speaking of the snow, I don't think this is Mama's or Papa's doing. But it feels like both of them."
Yuta stands by the door, not sure if he should walk in and track more snow into Sesshomaru-sama's room or stand in the entryway waiting to be acknowledged. Sesshomaru-sama looks at him and then at the sectional where Shippo is lounging with his legs over the edge. Yuta hunches his shoulders and moves to join Shippo on the couch.
"It is the pups," Sesshomaru says. "The priestess has been dealing with an increase in sickness since her mate has returned. This Sesshomaru advised him to flare his energy to soothe the pups." Sesshomaru sets the book down on the table and stands. He walks over to his bookshelf. "From the fluctuations of the priestess's energy and that of her mate's, this Sesshomaru suspects the pups are simply reacting. There is no need to be alarmed." He selects a book and throws it at Yuta's head.
Yuta's eyes widen as he catches the book before it knocks him out. Living in this estate is somehow the safest place in Japan and the most dangerous. He glances at the book, Rearing Pups. His brows furrow. Why would Sesshomaru-sama give him this book? He doesn't have kids, and he's not a demon either.
"You share the same ancestor of Satoru," Sesshomaru says simply, "and he shares common behaviors of that of a demon."
"Right... but why do I need to read this?"
"Don't tell me you got some curse pregnant. Gross."
Yuta flushes. "Stop calling me a curse fucker. I haven't—I wouldn't sleep with a curse." He stiffens. Rika prods at his back, but he ignores her for now. "Shippo mentioned that this snow could impede demons."
"Some foolish clans seek to be eradicated. It is not for you to worry about."
In other words, it is demon business, but Sesshomaru-sama gave him a book on demon parenting. So, which is it? Is it his business or not? He is human, though some would say he is more than human because he can use cursed energy, but human nonetheless. Yuta looks at the book once more and opens it. He flips through and stops on the page about pack dynamics. "Am I not pack?" He keeps his voice even. "If it affects the pack, then it affects me."
Sesshomaru smiles and Yuta's heart tries to claw its way out of his chest. He's never seen Sesshomaru-sama smile before and on anyone else, he would smile back, but since it is Sesshomaru, Yuta bites back the urge to cower.
He never wants to see Sesshomaru smile again.
---
Sukuna curses as he moves his way further into the Kamo clan's compound. It wasn't his first choice, but the Zenin compound is compromised, destroyed, and he needs somewhere with a bath large enough for him to sink Naraku's soul further into the abyss. No, he needs to sink the demons further into the abyss.
"Speak," he says, not bothering to look back at Uraume.
"Forgive me, master. I could only find one finger. Whatever punishment you seek fit, I will endure."
Sukuna turns and stares down at Uraume. He tenses. That energy. It's Satoru's, no doubt. Is he flaring his energy to pick a fight with him? "Do not worry about it. I'm sure the brat and his friends have something to do with that." He plucks the finger from Uraume's palm and studies it. This finger is not pale like the ones Satoru gave to the brat to consume. Is it because of her? Did she do something? Sukuna wraps his fingers around the finger and turns on his heel, resuming his stride in search of the bath.
The barrier shakes. Sukuna grits his teeth and leans against the wall. He focuses on strengthening the barrier. It has to remain intact. Going against Satoru now would be stupid, and Sukuna does not plan on losing. No, he'll kill Gojo Satoru just like he promised, and then he'll take his head to that woman. He glances down and frowns at the beads still around his neck.
Damn subjugation beads.
Damn that woman. These beads should have stayed on the brat's neck, not followed Sukuna to this new body.
Another wave of energy crashes against the barrier.
"Put up a veil," he says.
"As you wish."
Sukuna's nostrils flare as he pushes himself off the wall. This body is failing him. The demons and the curses are clamoring for control. It's annoying. Instead of one soul, he is fighting multiple for control. He would have been better off waiting for a chance to take over Megumi or someone else.
"Having difficulties, Sukuna?" Kenjaku asks, rounding the corner. He smiles as he approaches.
"Why are you still here?" Uraume questions, the disdain dripping from their words.
"Are you kidding?" Kenjaku laughs. "Gojo is free, and he's clearly sending us a message." He stuffs his hands into his sleeves and then frowns. "For him to reach us all the way out here is a problem. I'm sticking close. If I take one step out of this barrier, he'll kill me in an instant."
"Good riddance. All you do is blab your mouth."
"And they somehow have Sesshomaru on their side. What a pain," Kenjaku continues.
"It's because of that woman, Kagome," Sukuna says, brushing past. "She knew Naraku, and she is close to Sesshomaru." He glances at the finger in his palm. "She has the Shikon."
"Excuse me?" Kenjaku appears in front of him. "What do you mean, she has it?"
Sukuna smirks. "Why do you want it?" There's no real benefit in telling Kenjaku, but the look on his face is worth it.
Kenjaku leans back and shrugs. "Chaos, really. Rumors are that it is responsible for the birth of cursed energy. I'm curious what would happen if a wish were to be made on it. But if she has it, then Satoru knew where it was this whole time." He rubs his jaw. "I hate that guy. He's been nothing but a pain."
"How did he get out of the prison realm?" Uraume stands next to Sukuna's side.
"I don't know," Kenjaku admits. "They could have found the back of the prison realm, or they could have wished for him back since they have the jewel." He blows out a breath. "Or he could have overpowered it somehow if these warnings are anything to go by." Kenjaku scowls. "Satoru is stronger than I thought."
Sukuna keeps silent. The demons are restless. He gives Uraume a look and then walks away. Uraume will keep Kenjaku occupied. First, he needs to soak in the bath and then expel the demons that are causing trouble. Sukuna opens his mouth and swallows the finger. The additional finger helps to settle the unrest, but it is still not enough. He approaches the bath and slides out of his clothes.
Consume.
He needs to consume more cursed energy and offset the demonic energy. He'll consume the other players.
Sukuna sinks into the bath until only the top half of his face is visible. Another wave hits the barrier and this time it shatters, only leaving Uraume's veil. A moment later, even that fails. He narrows his eyes. Soon, he will take out Gojo Satoru and he will take great joy in ripping his limbs from his body for this insolence.
---
Satoru stares up at the ceiling while he runs his fingers over Kagome's arm. He feels like he can take on the world. Hell, he could take out a couple of planets. The temperature of the room is back to normal, but the same can't be said of the furniture. Maybe Sesshomaru takes checks. He turns his head and smiles softly at Kagome.
"You're so beautiful," he murmurs, careful to not wake her. He moves his arm from under her and slides out of the bed. When she wakes, she'll want some food. What time is it anyway? Satoru runs a hand through his hair as he slides on some pants and a shirt. He looks around the room and winces at the mess on the floor.
Food and a broom.
He throws one more look at Kagome's sleeping form before closing the door behind him. No guards. Good. Satoru yawns as he makes his way to the kitchen.
"G-Gojo-sensei," Yuta splutters, coming to a stop in front of him. He clutches a book to his chest. His face looks paler than normal, and for some reason, he keeps avoiding Satoru's gaze.
"Yeah? What's up?"
"N-nothing! Sorry for bothering you." Yuta turns and runs in the opposite direction. Satoru blinks. That was weird, even by Yuta's standards. What is with him? Whatever, Satoru pushes the encounter from his mind and resumes his trek to the kitchen.
"Does she still want pickles with whipped cream?" Satoru opens the fridge, that looks as though it belongs in a restaurant and not an estate. It's huge, and he's a little jealous. He wants one. Not seeing any pickles, Satoru settles for a bowl of fruit. "This should be easy on her stomach."
"Do you always talk to yourself?"
Satoru chuckles. "Could you go out and get some pickles?"
Shippo rolls his eyes. "Do you know what time it is?" He leans against the wall with his arms crossed.
"Get a couple of them, maybe three cans of whipped cream, and some wasabi. Not sure if she's still craving that, but I'd rather have it on hand." Satoru sets the bowl of assorted fruit down on the counter and looks through the cabinets. "And something sweet like cake for me."
"So, we aren't going to talk about it?"
"Talk about what?" Satoru closes the cabinet doors and picks up the bowl. No snacks around here. What a bummer. He doesn't feel like cooking right now, but if Kagome wants him to, then he will.
"The energy fluctuations? Or you know, the snow in the hallway."
"What snow in the hallway? I didn't see any snow on my way here." Satoru bites the inside of his cheek. So, it really affected the rest of the estate. He can't wait to tell Kagome.
Shippo squints. "You're glowing too."
"Yeah, that's a thing now." Satoru smiles. He grips the bowl closer to his chest and then turns to the left.
"What is it?"
Satoru narrows his eyes as he focuses on the energy. "Sukuna."

One Piece Modern Gym Au Wip (Part 13)
“Never told you, so how should you know?” Sanji’s voice came from his left side.
Zoro walked in the direction. Rounding a corner he saw Sanji standing in front of a big kitchen island, slightly swinging a pan over fire with one hand and seasoning the content of another at the same time. Zoro’s gaze was fixed on his face the moment he looked at him.
Sanji had pulled his hair back in a little tail, freeing his face from the always-present fringe shielding his right eye. A beautiful green iris showed, which mesmerized Zoro tremendously.
“Cat got your tongue, Marimo?” Sanji asked still watching the food in front of him.
“Green,” came Zoro’s very intelligent answer.
“What?”
“Your eye…it’s green.”
“Oh…uh…yeah, it,” now Sanji looked up - a little unsure of what to expect from Zoro. “It’s called heterochromia. I…”
“It’s beautiful! Zoro blurred out and finally came over to stand beside Sanji. “Why do you hide it?”
Too late, he realized his action and took a step back. Beautiful? It was! But why did he say that to Sanji?! And in such a outbreak of emotions…
“Sorry…”
“No, it's fine. Actually, it’s rather nice that someone is thinking like that about my most hated trait.”
“Why would you hate it?”
Sanji smiled sadly for a moment. But then he shook his head slightly.
“Maybe I tell you later.”
“Okay…”
Zoro scratched his neck and looked around the open kitchen. He spotted what looked like some mushrooms, fresh herbs and other ingredients sitting beside Sanji. In the pan he had two juicy-looking pieces of beef and in a pot was rice cooking slowly.
“What do you gonna make us?” Zoro wanted to know.
“On nothing too special. Just sukiyaki with beef.”
“It smells incredible!”
Sanji smiled at him, and Zoro felt his heartbeat fasten as if it wanted to break through his ribcage.
“So…Can I help you?”
“No need. Just sit down. Beer’s in the fridge if you want some.”
Zoro nodded, grabbed a bottle form the fridge and sat down on one of the bar chairs behind the kitchen - so he could watch Sanji cook. It was really fascinating! The precise movements of Sanji cutting the food and tossing it in the pans. The fact that he could do two tasks at once - if it doesn't involve cutting something. The way he held the knives, how natural it looked. And maybe Zoro was a little freak because this - Sanji handling his kitchen knives so well - turned him on a little.
“I really would like to see you fight with those,” Zoro mumbled as Sanji twirled a long knife in his hand to change the grip on it.
The knife almost fell out of the cook's hand by those words. He looked up and met Zoro’s gaze with a bit of shock.
“I wouldn't…” He swallowed drily. “I don't fight with either knives or my hands.”
Zoro, seeing that he made a mistake tried to save the conversation and the evening. He could imagine how fast this could go south and he really wanted to enjoy Sanji’s company.
“Sorry…I…I train and work at a Dojo; have been my whole life. You could say I’m a little sword and knife crazy,” he chuckled and rubbed the back of his head - Sanji’s frown turned into a neutral expression, but his lips twitched into the smallest of smiles. “ When I see someone working with knives so skilled like you do it. I can't stop but wonder how you’d handle a sword.”
“I don't know anything about swords, Zoro. I can't even fight with knives…”
Something tells me that’s a lie, Zoro thought but didn't say it.
He nursed his bottle of beer until the silence got a little uncomfortable. He glanced around as if a topic for a conversation would fall from the ceiling…he didn't think it would actually happen when he saw a black spot falling on the countertop between him and Sanji.

Any Tmnt Iteration x Spiderman!Reader: Hunter vs Prey
Part 1 , Part 2 , Part 3
Warning: Medical Innacurrencies
Dizzy
Fussy
Everything was blurry
Mikey could barely see his green hand in front of his face, trying not to blink and resist the urge of fainting. If you closed your eyes, you probably would die. It always happened in movies.
Hia legs feel woobly, and it was difficult for him to lift his arm. If only he could take his phone, he could call his brothers and know everything was going to be okay.
Leo, he should have called Leo the moment this called Hunter Kraken or something like that showed up.
Damn, that guy actually knows how to fight, nothing like the Purple Dragons or some lower rank Foot Soldiers.
He was pretty sure they nunchakus just broke a minuto ago. Oh. Master Splinter was gonna be so disappointed once he got back to the lair.
Oh, he can't feel his right leg…
What happened….?
He felt a pinch befote…
Right Right
Darn… No.. A dart!
Huh…. Since when was breathing so hard…?
Huh….
The floor looked so distant right now
Come on, Mikey! You got this!
He got this…—He got—!
Oh….
He's falling…
Everything…
Everything was black….
It's not cool. He just befriended a superhero not long ago…
He….
He's dead, isn't he?
"MIKEY!!!!"
…… Raph….?
"MIKEY!" - Raphael screamed as he watched his little brother fall from the top of a building. nonoNoNoNO!
A blur of color flew past him, diving after Mikey. Two seconds and a web attached to the wall of the building and [S/n] was next to him. With Mikey. Mikey was safe. Mikey was safe. Mikey. Mikey. Mikey—
"MIKEY!" - Raphael screamed again and rushed to his little brother. [S/n] was trying to shake him gently in search of reactions - "Hey, hey. Buddy? It's me" - Raphael almost snatched Mikey from [S/n] arms, and his little brother lied limp against him. His breath pitched - "Mikey??"
From behind his mask, Mikey's eyes flutter between consciousness, and a low rumble comes from his chest. Small whizzles come from his mouth, like a ball with a fisure.
"…. Mikey?"
"His heartbeat is slow for human standards, and he seems to be having problems breathing" - diagnosed [S/n] - "There's no seem to be external injuries… " - [S/n] paused, noticing something on Mikey's hand
They gently forced the orange turtle hand to find some kind of rustic looking dart. A dart.
"He's either being drugged or poisoned" - announced, then turning to Raphael - "Mikey mentioned one of his brothers was a doctor. Can you call him?"
Mikey. Poison. Donnie. Call Donnie.
Behind You!
[S/n]'s arm moved by itself before yhey noticing, grabbing something in the air before it could aim at Raphael's head. Both set of eyes, even though the mask, were wide open at the arrow shoot at them.
"What the—" - Raphael was interrupted mid-sentence when another arrow was shot at them, this time both of them jumping in opposite directions, Raphael holding Mikey like a newborn
"Take him out of here!" - screamed [S/n] as they looked in the direction the two previous arrows were shooted - "I'll distract them!"
Raphael wanted to reply and probably beat to an inch of death the guy who hurt his brother, but another set of arrows convinced him to throw himself from the roof, landing on a garbage container.
Quick. Seek help. Donnie. Leo.
Leo's number was quickly dialed on the T-Phone as he held Mikey and could see from the alley to [S/n] swing to the archer's direction.
A couple of rings before his blue brother finally pick up the phone.
"Ra—" "SOMEONE SHOOT MIKEY!"
Leo's breath pitched from the other side of the line - "What..?"
"MIKE SNEAK OUT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT AND I FOLLOWED HIM" - Raphael screamed from the other side of the line - "SOMEONE SHOOT HIM WITH A DART AND I THINK IT POISON HIM OR SOMETHING BECAUSE HE'S KNOCKED OUT!"
"Raphael, I need you to listen to me" - Leo said with a stern voice as he left the dojo and passed the living room - "We're are you now? Are you near some hole you can take cover in? Is this shooter still aiming at you??" - Leo yook the phone out of his ear - "DONNIE!!"
"I'm in some alley near the Hell's Kitchen, no manholes" - Raphael sounded more calm now - "And [S/n] is taking care of that guy now"
At the vigilante's name, Leo attention peaked up - "What?"
"The hell, Leo!?" - Donnie stormed put from his lab - "You know what time it is?!"
"Not now Donnie, Mikey's been shoot unconscious and Raph's with him" - he cut off his brother before putting the T-Phone on speaker - "Can you triangulate their position so we can ride the turtle shell?"
"Already on it" - Donnie toss aside his anger and was in his position as the team's medic - "Raph, I need you check Mikey's pulse and his breathing. How many pulsations for minute he's having?"
"I don't know! It's slow, and he sounds like he's having an asthma attack!" - came Raph's voice
"Got them!" - announced Donnie - "We're on our way Raph, don't move Mikey too much!"
They just hoped they could make it on time
The first thing you do was snatch the bow from this guys hands with a yoink from your web. This guy must believe he's Hercules because of the lion skin hanging from his shoulder. Who did this guy think he was? What was he doing in your neighborhood?
"Who are you? Who sent you, and where did you come from?" - You asked, you didn't want to call him Walmart Hercules on your mind. If he ever decided to actually give you an answer.
"Sergei Kravinoff works alone!" - answers the man, like a cave person
You would probably would mocked of this guy at this, but Mikey's life was at stake thanks to him. You don't feel you were in the mood to play him around.
"You just mess with the wrong neighborhood" - you put in a fighting stance. No fun, friendly Spidey for this guy.
Jorge of the Jungle decides to unleash two short knives from his arsenal. And then he jumps to the building edge where you stand and starts to swing those things. Trying to pretend to be a macho man? Not a chance. The moment he tries to swing those things, you web both and to them from his hands, ending up sticking into the building wall.
You looked were the knives landed, not wanting to dropp and stab some innocent passerby, before the familiar tingle scratched the back of your head and barely give time before Kravin Off just pushed you off the building.
This guy is buff and definitely taller than you. One of his arms is making pressure on your throat as both fall.
"Big game" - says Tarzan - "Now be still, the noblest prey ends the hunt with silent dignity"
Noble? Prey? Silent? Dignity? This guy didn't even know you at all!
You shoot one of your webs to the nearest building, actually, to any building that could be close. It works, and you feel the webs tense, but it also gets tense the grip of this guy on your throat. He's actually chocking you. You can hear yourself having trouble breathing, and Tarzan has the nerves of chuckle, that's before both of you hit the side of a building. That's gonna leave a mark.
The building side cracks, actually cracks, and Kraven's grip on your throat stirs, shaking the guy off you. Before he actually starts falling, you web him in a net-like web to one of the street lamps. Once you're sure he's not gonna end in small bits across the street one hand goes to rub your throat, like that was able to protect you.
"Amazing," - says Kraven without any kind of shame, almost… Congratulating you? The nerve—! - "No beast has ever broke from Kravinoff's grasp."
"Dude, what's wrong with you and talking in third person?" - you say, not really waiting for an answer.
You try to spy the alley where Mikey's brother took him, but it seems that you're some buildings away. Good. As long this jungle freak stays away from them, the better.
Then, just as the thought comes to your mind, Kraven materializes a knife from… You didn't even know were and actually cuts your webs! Those webs are supposed to handle around 10 tons of weight, so… You have to give it to this guy. You could use that knife yo cut your aunt's frozen turkey of Thanksgivings.
You land, oh look at that! Another roof! Lovely! As Kravinoff, whose name you start to get annoyed to hear, is trying to impale you with his spear. You do a couple of backflips as you dogde the best you can. You wonder if Mikey's safe. You can only hope the best frlm his called brothers, since you didn't have the resources to fabricate an antidote for the poison, otherway you'll already be taking care of him yourself.
He actually trows the spear as a javelin and you find yourself falling, and doung an amazing landing in your quarters in a dirty alley, again, and luckily, not the one Mikey and his brother afe taking refuge.
Kravinoff comes down making parkour, grabb his spear, landing in front of you and trows his spear again. You dogde, or you believe you do, as a sharp pain explodes and warm liquid come down your leg. You grunt, your leg is throbbing with pain and Kravinoff, you're done with this bitch.
You press both webshooters at the same time, no pocket knife to help him escape this time. You look down and almost fall in the spots as you, effortlessly, try to press the wound.
Red. Bright. Blood.
Oxygenated blood is running freely down your leg. Damn. He got your artery!
What to do when an artery has being pierced? You can't pinch your artery! You're not qualified! But you can make a tourniquet… You can do this…
You press the webshooter, this time slowly, so the web that comes out doesn't go to the roof, instead you grab the web and start rolling the web around the inner part of your thigh, and you press hard, begging internally to not loose one fo your limbs.
The blood didn't stop that quickly, but the rithm slows. Just to make sure, and begging again to be doing the right thing, you cover your thigh in more webs. The webs actually stain from red as you have to breathe openly while looking to the night sky.
Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuckfuckfuckfcuk! How you're even going to explain this to your aunt?? You can't go to a hospital….
You're alone…
OMG! MIKEY!
You completely forgot about him!
Did his brothers pick him up already??
Is he safe??
Is he even alive??
He must be alive… Right…???
You need to check
You wimper as you force yourself to get up. This isn't about you. You need yo check upon Mikey, and if he's safe, cool, then you'll get home, pray to the spider gens make their magic and heal you, maybe get high on ibuprofens and faint in your bed. If you end up staining the sheets with blood, you can always say you're on your period… Hormones and all of that…
Woohoooo
You can almost feel the blood loss
Didn't the human body just die from losing two liters..?
From how much blood loss do spiders die?
Because you need to make some calculations
You dragg yourself to the alley
Thank God for the webshooters
Let yourself get dragged by your own weight never feel better
Oh, there's a van there
There's a turtle in blue with some big swords in their shell
Cool, cool cool cool
Mikey's brother's are here
Yipeee
God, how's you beat a man made of lightning (after being beaten by him) but lost to miserably to some guy cosplaying as the characters from God of War?
Oh, the blue turtle is looking at you
This is awkward
"Soooo…." - you say, hoping the weakness in your voice or your limp weren't so obvious - "Are you guys from Jersey?"

just watched southpaw for the first time and cant stop thinking about boxer bkg yum yum yummmmmm
(this is so messy, i’m sorry) yughhh, I have such a hard time w/ boxer!aus because I never want to be … cliche with them. You know, meeting when he saves you from something and then slowly falling love only for him to defend your honor in a match of some sort. Like I love that, don’t get me wrong but… i don’t wanna copy or just write a do-over, either!!
Plus, I’ve never seen southpaw, nor do I want you to die… so I wonder, how do you meet? How do you fall in love??? (the only boxing movie I’ve seen is million dollar baby and we all know how that ends…)
But i like the thought of being boxer!Bakugo’s partner or spouse……. and the thought of visiting him at his dojo🥺 … always bandaged up in his ratty gym shorts, topless and showing off his numerous scars and bruises and tattoos…
There’s one by my aunt’s house that has these big glass windows that let you see inside, so I’m kinda imagining that maybe you stop to watch the sparring for a couple minutes every day. Still in work clothes, wrapped up in your cute little scarf and hat to keep you warm outside in the cold.
It’s not even the hot guys that draw you in to watch (the tank of a man with red hair and spikey teeth, the monster with green curls), but just how interesting it is. How they can fight so brutally with each other only to get back up and laugh just as quick (and if the blonde that always seems to notice you doesn’t smile, well, who are who to care).
And idk. Maybe one day they invite you inside, maybe one day you don’t show up and they’re concerned… or maybe you just end up working a double and only cross the dojo’s path when everyone is on their way out… the blonde with a gym bag and the keys locking up and holding back a snarl when you try to rush by.
(He’s not mean, but he’s not sweet yet, either. Just catches your eye for a bit which stops your walk home entirely. he says, “you’re late,” then asks, “gonna get home safe?”
You can’t help but smile. Or try to, at least, feeling a bit silly trying to wave the whole thing off. He doesn’t seem to care.)
But that’s not the end of your interactions, and soon, the man who introduces himself as Bakugo, a boxer, is holding the door for you to come watch the hub from inside. Is waiting for you to arrive to start. Is walking you home every night too, BLAHHH.
Anyway, I’m kinda rambling. Like I said, not the best at this topic, though flattered you came to me w/ it🥺
I just think it spirals from there. Or it started off at a different point, and still continues on. To you bringing him warm dinner to take home with him after practice, to sharing the large cupcake your coworker sent home with you … to like, going home with him in general, when he wants to cook for you, too, in return.
And then of course, the other fighters pick up on things, too. I mean, they knew Bakugo had a thing for you (the cute girl in the window, they called you) since the moment they caught him watching you, but now that things are more… official, it’s like you’re the rink mascot they all love and look out for (lest bakugo beat their ass, but that aside).
You become kind of their cheerleader. Prep their ice and stand on their backs. Go to their matches and sit with whoever isn’t competing, leaving marks in kirishima’s thighs and denki’s palms whenever Kat is in the rink… and running to the rail when he wins (always, usually) and getting pulled up by the collar of your shirt to give him his kiss…
(Not to mention all the good luck love you give him before matches, in the locker room, too…)
Despite how aggressive he is with competitors in the rink, once Bakugo finds you, I feel like he starts to calm down a lot more after fights, too. No longer feels the need to boast and gloat (as much) because you’re already there cheering for him, caring for him, waiting to take him home so you can reward him and he can thank you. He honestly refuses to let you go, even during the aftermath when he’s being interviewed or helping to clean up, you’re there with him, making him happier than he’s ever been before to have chosen this path.
(Plus, when you have a beautiful, doting lover, everyone is already jealous, win or lose…)
Interviewers are like, “how are you feeling, Bakugo?” and he’s just rolling his eyes, “like I wanna take a fucking ice bath with my baby. Move.”
-
(kids tw from here on our) And when you finally have your little daughter with him, after you’re married (the whole community coming to your wedding, even former opponents), she’s the literal pride and joy of the dojo… worshipped and SPOILED as all heck by all her aunts and uncles, they probably even carve out a few hours a week for her to do stretching, gymnastics and tumbling on the squishy, gym mat floors.
She always walks into the gym carrying the bag of snacks you made for everyone, and Bakugo never hesitates to stop whatever he’s doing (even if it means sero gets dropped on the floor) just to pick her up and carry her around the whole place instead of practicing. She even gets the hang of yelling at people the way he would, too… calling Kiri “kiwi” and telling him to tighten up his butt when he’s in a plank LOL.
She’s probably even the reason Bakugo ends up semi-retiring (phew) and becoming a coach, because she eventually starts wanting lessons, even if he’s SOOO nervous about her actually fighting anyone.
(He’s like, “maybe we can start with Kiri teaching you mma and wrestling?” And she’s like “I want to punch things, dad :/“)
Nebfjsjdjrkdjjrkfjrjfjfkdkjdjskdjrjrn!!! I adore it!!
#Bakugo#I’m tired#I hope this was okay anon :(#it feels like I didn’t say much even tho I said a lot#but I had fun with it so !!! 💕💓❣️#I go bed now#caitie things#gen#anon

Chapter seven
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/f3e9674d20702cd20eed482fb6dc692c/4a98f65b437e5c73-5a/s540x810/3dc4e73dea321e254bc6da33cc165185273ed3b2.jpg)
Characters: Miki (original character), Maria (original character), Antonia, Hatsune Miku, The Night Rose, Nyanja, Kendo, Marigold
Warnings: violence, blood, broken bones, abuse, tears, making out, everyone is going through it™️, should I have written this?
"Miki! Miki! Wake up, I gotta show you something!" I hear someone say.
"wha... hinako?" I groggily mumble.
"... It's Maria. Who's Hinako?"
"Never mind... It's not important." I move my duvet off of me, only to see that my mattress is soaked.
Yeah, I forgot I did that.
"Miki, is that c-"
"Don't finish that sentence." I point my finger at Maria, and put on a set of clean clothes. A short red long sleeve dress with a black belt and gold buckle, and white fur trim on the skirt, wrists and collar. "I look good in this..."
"You forgot something!" Maria exclaims as she pops a Santa hat on my head. "Now you're ready for winterfest!" I hug Maria, looking at our outfits. Maria was wearing a white shirt with ruffled cuffs, a brown corset, green shorts, white tights and a green cloak-
"Is that a Venti cosplay?"
"Yeah! One moment, lemme get the wig! I'm going to comic con!"
I chuckle and walk into Miku's room.
"Nobody told me Maria was going to comic con."
"I haven't gotten her to shut up about it. Surprised she's not going as Mavuika, since I know how much she loves her."
"Good point. Maria and Antonia could've gone as a Mavuika-Capitano couples cosplay."
"MIKI YOU'RE A GENIUS I'M CHANGING IMMEDIATELY!!" I hear Maria yell from the other room.
"So I'm guessing they're gonna be at that convention all day..."
"Yup. Wanna dress up?"
"I don't see why not. Who are you gonna dress up as?"
"I'm gonna dress up as poison ivy!"
"Gonna paint your face green too?" I remark as I grab a matching Harley Quinn cosplay.
Miku laughs while putting on a wig cap. "Now that you mention it..."
"Don't tell me you're actually considering it!"
"I might! It's a fun idea!"
"No way..." we both laugh.
"So are you gonna talk about the weird noises I heard last night?" Miku asks.
I pause. "I can explain."
Miku laughs. "I didn't know you miss her that much! It's only been a couple of days!"
"I didn't know either until I started doing it! She's all that's been on my mind!"
"Who're you talking about?" Antonia asks, leaning on the doorframe in a full Capitano cosplay.
"Hinako..."
"Okay, I've heard that name being passed around between you two, but I have no clue who that is." Antonia takes off the helmet. I can honestly see why Maria married her now, she looks fine in that outfit.
"You might not believe me... But it's the night rose." I flop down on Miku's bed with a wide smile.
I can already see the years turning in Antonia's head. "...what? You were terrified of her a week ago!"
"And then she visited me, and something must've changed, because now I'm hopelessly in love with her!"
Antonia leaves the room without saying another word. Miku and I burst out laughing.
"Her reaction was priceless!"
Miku giggles. "I know, right? It was hilarious!"
"You know... I need to think about winterfest gifts for you guys."
"You could always get me the anthology CD..."
"You don't even have the first ttpd CD!" I laugh.
"Get me both then! And add the rise and fall of a Midwest princess while you're at it!"
We both laugh.
"I might just get you scaled and icy at this rate..."
"Oh no, not the dema propaganda!" Miku says sarcastically.
I sigh and look at the ceiling. "How many times have we laid down on your bed and talked about our interests again?"
"Too many to count. It's nice to have a friend like you..."
"Yeah, it is. A friend I can talk to about anything, and won't judge me..." I smile and hold her hand. "A friend who will always be by my side, no matter what."
"A best friend."
"Yes... A best friend."
┅┅┅┅┅┅┅༻❁༺┅┅┅┅┅┅┅
"You DARE disobey me again?!"
"I'm sorry! It won't happen again!"
"LIAR!"
The mask tosses me to the other side of the dojo. If the bruises weren't visible before, they definitely are now. I was finally off the strings, but I was being tossed around like an unwanted doll...
And I wouldn't even be off the strings for long.
"Please... Please stop... I won't visit her again, I promise..."
"I don't even know how your shade got OUT of the dojo. I'll have to redo the spell, make sure there are no holes to slide through..."
I burst into tears. It was the only thing I could do at this point... Fighting back was what got me into this mess. I'm hopeless... All because I loved her...
"I'm sorry... I'm really sorry... I won't see her again, I promise..."
"You better be." the mask glares at me. "You will accompany Shogun X to find this "Zero Shard" we came here to retrieve. The mission will be tomorrow. You will be in tactical gear, as always. Do NOT fail me."
"I won't, master..."
"Good. Now..."
SNAP
"AAAAAGGHHH!!"
He breaks my arm before pulling me up with the strings.
"Your healing should take care of it by tomorrow. You'll be fine."
The mask is a monster... I hate him.
I wish I knew what Miki's doing... I hope she's okay...
«────── « ⋅ʚ♡ɞ⋅ » ──────»
"You're tailor-made for this day and age cause you're powerless and look like prey! You are fooled by the way that this act behaves and your beating heart has gone insane, it's always resonating!" I sing out loud.
"Joy, all the same, doesn't have much weight and that charismatic smile is fake! If you stare hard and gape at the truth displayed, you will end up going blind someday, so go and practice some restraint!" Miku sings along.
"That song is really fast... Oh my goodness..."
"Imagine being hypnotized while singing it..."
"Oh my goodness..."
"It was insane... I'm lucky Teto was able to help me."
"Damn... Tell me more about Teto!
"She's really fun to hang out with... You know how my 'thing' is leeks?"
"Yeah, I do know. And Luka's 'thing' is tuna."
"Teto's thing is bread. Baguettes in particular. She loves bread..."
"Sounds a bit like Maria." I chuckle. "She loves eating carbs..."
"That girl has a weird taste in food..."
"She has a weird taste in everything. Have you seen the outfits she wears?"
"What was her motto again? She can make anything casual if she tries hard enough?"
I laugh. "Yup, that's the one! Now, more about Teto!"
"Well... She's a Chimera."
"She's a what now?"
"A Chimera. I don't know either."
After a while of talking about Teto, we decide to talk about Hinako.
"So, tell me what happened that night. You never told me everything." Miku inquires.
"I was struggling to sleep, and then I heard footsteps... I grabbed my Katana, because I always keep it next to me in my bed. She opened the sliding door, and I pointed my Katana at her."
"Then what?"
"Well... We both said not to hurt each other... And I instinctively trusted her for some reason... Then she said that she has no reason to hurt me, and that I was her only hope. That moment stuck with me, not only because she let her guard down in front of me... But because I heard her voice for the first time. And damn... It's beautiful."
"I'm guessing that's what sparked the little crush..."
"Shut up! But... Yeah. It is. She said she needed me to free her, and my mind fell to the dreams. And the string... I always thought it was blood, but it was her puppet strings!"
"not surprised..."
"What's that supposed to mean?"
"Nothing! Just that you tend to overthink!"
"...fair. But anyway, after we had a little talk about the strings, we had a laugh together... And for some reason, I felt like we've been friends for a long time. Even though I only heard her voice for the first time that day. And then she hugged me... I felt so fuzzy..."
"And that's when you gave her her name, right?"
"Yeah! My mind got brought back to an old memory, my old friend and I deciding what our names would be if we were to change them. I chose Miki, and she chose Hinako..."
"What if the night rose was your old friend?"
I pause. It could be possible... "That's not a bad idea, Miku..."
"Look into it. Maybe you'll find something."
"Yeah, you're right. But anyway. After I gave her a name, she said that I used to be the night rose."
"WHAT?!" Miku yells. "You just decided to tell me now, and not the night of?!"
"I'm sorry, I was thinking about her!"
"This is a big thing!"
"I know, and I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner! I was in love!" my mind snaps back to that night. "Right, the story. My mind was racing with so many thoughts, but one was loudest. I love her. So I decided that I wanted to kiss her..."
"But you didn't. Why?"
"Because she was pulled away, presumably by the mask..."
"Oh..."
"And that's when you walked in."
"And I know the rest."
"Yeah." I sit up and take off the blonde wig that was sitting on my head. I love being Harley Quinn, but wearing a wig for a long time is really uncomfortable. I remove the wig cap and let my hair fall down. "I need her, Miku... And she needs me. Maybe not in the same way, but she still needs my help regardless."
"Winterfest is coming up... Maybe you could get her a gift. What does she like?"
"I don't know..."
"Maybe you could make something, like a painting or a craft.
"A craft could work... Something nice and simple, but that she'll still remember."
"You could always use kintsugi on a bowl or vase or something."
"Kintsugi! Miku, you're a genius! But... Doesn't that involve gold?"
"Don't worry. Maria knows someone who can help with that."
When Maria and Antonia got back home from comic con, they both looked exhausted. But I had to ask the question.
"Hey, Maria?"
"Yeah, Miki?" Maria replies.
"Can you please call Marigold?"
"...why?"
"I need some gold for a craft I'm doing. Can I talk to her?"
"Sure. What's the craft?"
"Kintsugi bowl for Hinako..."
Maria looked perplexed, with a face that could only be described as drunk citlali.
"The night rose."
"Ooohhhhh!! Yeah, that makes sense. Go ahead."
"Your contact for her is... Goldy girly?"
"Yeah. Now call her."
I press dial, and she picks up almost instantly. "Hello? Maria?" a smooth British accent comes through the phone.
"Uhh, I'm Maria's friend, Miki. It's nice to meet you, Marigold."
"Nice to meet you too. I'm guessing you didn't call me just to chat though."
"No, I didn't. I was wondering if I could have some gold powder. I need it for a kintsugi project I'm making."
"Kintsugi, hm? You got anything to give me?"
"I could give you a finished bowl if you want."
"Hmm... Sounds good. When do you want it?"
"Any point before winterfest would be great, thanks."
"How's tomorrow sound?"
"Tomorrow sounds great! Wanna meet up at nightshift?"
"Strange request, but sure."
"See you tomorrow, then." I hang up the phone. "Thanks, Maria."
"No problem. Always happy to help out a friend."
After talking to Maria, I walk into my room and reach for a box of beads under my bed. Just before I grab the box, my hand grazes my bag, and I feel the void oni mask. I feel the wave void energy rushing through me, and I shiver. I'm scared for a moment, but then I realize it feels like one of Hinako's shades... My chest warms up and the heat pools down. Do I really miss her that much? I instinctively shut my legs, trying to ignore the wetness. I grab my beads from behind the bag, and start making bracelets for all my friends. One for Miku, Maria, Antonia, Hope, Kendo... Jade- shit. Jade's still in the portal.
Hinako... I could make one for Hinako.
Red, white, black... I'm running out of red beads. I need to get more. But... There! I made a bracelet for Hinako! I smile while looking at the bracelet. It's... It's her. I decide to make a bracelet with her name for myself, to remember her when she's not with me.
"I love you, Hinako..." I whisper as I hold the bracelet. "I wish you were here with me..."
I place the bracelets into small pouches and put them in a bag where I plan to store the rest of the winterfest gifts, except for the one I made for myself. I decide I feel tired, so I lie down on my bed and fall asleep.
┅┅┅┅┅┅┅༻❁༺┅┅┅┅┅┅┅
Everything hurts... Bruises all over my body, scars dripping blood on the floor, burns from the mask's fireballs, and of course my broken arm... I'm pretty sure he's sending me on that mission tomorrow to torture me, because he knows I'll barely be able to walk in this state, let alone complete an entire mission. I just have to hope it's in nightshift forest, just for the slightest chance that I might see Miki.
I couldn't even sleep. The pain was too intense. I just hung there on my strings, hopelessly dangling as always...
Morning comes and I'm immediately greeted by Nyanja.
"Sup, rosy?" he calls out "woah, are you okay?"
"I'm fine, don't worry about me." Of course I wasn't fine, I just didn't want him to worry. "And... It's Hinako now. Miki gave me a name."
"Hinako, huh? Sounds nice. So... What happened to you?"
"...the mask happened."
"...right. The mask. So what's the deal with you and Miki? Are you like, lovers or something?"
"One day, hopefully. But not right now... I don't even think she likes me that much."
"Oh... So friends?"
"Only just. She looked terrified of me a few days ago..."
"Huh... Okay."
The silence was deafening...
"So... Do you want a Capri Sun?"
"Sure." He grabs a Capri Sun from his backpack, stabs the straw in and brings it up to my mouth. I drink the fruit juice and smile. "Thanks, Nyanja..."
"No problem. Always happy to help out a friend."
He said we're friends...
I didn't even realize that I was crying until Nyanja wiped the tears away.
"Hey, it's okay... Why were you crying?"
"I have a friend... You're my friend..." I blubber. "An actual friend..."
"Don't cry, don't cry... Yeah, you do have a friend. You have two... Me, and Miki."
The tears just kept falling. I couldn't control it... "Thank you..."
"You're welcome, Hinako."
«────── « ⋅ʚ♡ɞ⋅ » ──────»
The next day, I walk around nightshift forest, looking for Marigold, only knowing what she looks like because of a picture Maria took.
"Marigold? Hello?"
"Ah, you must be Miki!" I hear from behind. There I see her, a girl with fair skin, short black hair, and a golden eye. Her right eye had a scar over it... I wonder where she got it from.
"Yes, I'm Miki! You must be Marigold, right?"
"Yes, I am. Here's the gold powder you wanted." she gives me a ziploc bag of a bright golden dust.
"How did you get it?" I ask. She then pulls out her right hand from her pocket, revealing that her hand and wrist were golden. "Woah... Are you a spirit? Like me?"
"What? No... I'm cursed."
"Oh..."
"It's okay. I once had someone call me a goddess. I still don't know if it was a compliment or an observation..."
I laugh. "Thanks for the gold. Can we like... Shake hands, without you turning me to gold?"
"Yes, we can. You don't have to worry about that."
I shake her hand. "I'll give you the bowl at winterfest. See you then!"
"See you."
We both walk our separate ways and I get started on the kintsugi bowls.
I grab my phone and put on some twenty one pilots to set the mood. I put the bowls, gold dust and resin on the table, and get to work. I crack the first bowl, a white one with black flowers and a red rim around the top and bottom. I then mix the resin and gold dust, and apply it on the cracks. Piece by piece, the bowl slowly came together like a puzzle, and eventually, it was complete. I run small amounts of resin on the cracks to make sure the gold is visible and to make it stronger.
Seeing the cracks and imperfections all defined with the gold reminded me that even if something is broken, it can be beautiful. I run a finger along my slits... Broken, but beautiful.
"Sometimes you gotta bleed to know, that you're alive and have a soul..." I hear Tyler Joseph sing from my headphones. I smile at the music, resting my head on the table. I didn't notice the tears falling down my face until I lifted my head...
I look at my Hinako bracelet. What if I made one with my own name for her? I thought. I decided to go with it. After making the bracelet, I place it into the bowl, wrapping the bowl with tissue paper and placing it into a box. I wrap it in red wrapping paper and put a green ribbon around it, tying it at the top with a bow. I grab a card from Maria's box and write in it for Hinako.
Dear Hinako,
Happy Winterfest! I hope you like the gift I gave you, I made it myself. I just want to say that after you visited me as your shade, I fell in love with you and I haven't been able to keep my mind off you. Please... Say you love me back.
Love from
Miki.
XOXO
I put the card in an envelope and write "Hinako" on the back, and I walk to my room to put it in the bag.
┅┅┅┅┅┅┅༻❁༺┅┅┅┅┅┅┅
A few weeks have passed since Nyanja came to visit me. All I've been thinking about is Miki and Nyanja... That cat is such a good friend. And Miki... I haven't been able to get my mind off her. The snow is thick on the ground outside, and the cold air blows into the dojo, making me shiver. My arm didn't heal, and I was forced to go on the mission with a broken arm, which didn't help at all.
I hear footsteps again. Is it... No, it can't be.
Miki?
"Hinako? Hinako, I have a gift for you! i mean, if the mask lets me give it to you..."
It's Miki...
"Miki! Miki, I'm here!" my voice sounded hoarse, I was too beat up to yell...
"Hinako! I have something for-" she freezes in horror when she sees me.
«────── « ⋅ʚ♡ɞ⋅ » ──────»
It was finally Winterfest. Everyone was sat around the tree, ready to open their gifts.
But I was walking through the snow to demon's dojo. Man, it was freezing. But I had to get to Hinako. I needed to see her. I just want her to know I love her...
The sounds of bells and Mariah Carey echoed through the air, solidifying the winterfest vibe. The snow on the ground sticks to my boots, and the snowfall sat on my hair and clothes, making it almost sparkle. Miku decided to join me after opening her gifts, and walks next to me in her "mesmerizer dress", and despite the short skirt, she wasn't cold.
"I bet Hinako will love your gift." Miku says.
"Thanks, Miku. You gave the other bowl to Marigold, right?" I reply.
"Yup, Marigold has the bowl! She loves it!"
"Good... I'm glad she likes it." we walk to the base of the stairs that lead to the dojo, and there we see Kendo...
"Miki? Miku? What are you doing here?" he asks. "You should be celebrating Winterfest."
"We are. I'm giving a gift to the night rose."
"You do know the night rose is-"
"She's not. She's my friend. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go see her." I push past Kendo, and walk up to the dojo. He grabs my wrist before I reach the top of the steps.
"No. You're not going up there."
"I'm just giving her a gift!l
"She might kill you!"
"She's relying on me to save her!"
Kendo pauses. "Don't free her. You don't know what might happen if you do."
"I can't. Not now... But I can try to help her." I pull my hand away and walk up to the dojo. "Hinako? Hinako, I have a gift for you! i mean, if the mask lets me give it to you..."
"Miki! Miki, I'm here!" I hear Hinako call out. Her voice sounds sore, like she's in pain... I run up to the dojo to see if she's okay.
"Hinako! I have something for-" I freeze when I see the state she's in. Scars and bruises all over her body, blood dripping on the ground... And her arm is broken. "Hinako, are you okay?!" I run up to her and hold her face. "Please be okay... Please..."
"Miki..." she smiles at me, and I swear I can see her face turn a slight pinkish hue. "You're here... You're actually here..."
"Yes, of course I'm here... I would never spend winterfest without you." I smile widely, looking into Hinako's eyes. But my gaze kept falling to her lips...
"I can't believe it... You can free me! You can get me out of here!"
I pause. "I... I don't know how. I'm sorry, Hinako..."
Her eyes widen, and she looks like she's about to cry.
"Hinako... Please don't cry, I'll try to get you out... I promise..." I hug her tightly, trying to comfort her. "It might just take a bit longer than you thought. Okay?"
"Okay..." Hinako sniffles.
"I will get you out though... I'll find a way."
"Thank you, Miki... Thank you so much..."
"I... I actually came to give you something. A gift, from me to you."
The strings drop, as if the mask wanted me to give her the gift. I kneel down to meet her gaze, since she was sitting on the ground.
"Here you go. I made it myself..." I give her the gift. She struggles to open it with her broken arm, but eventually, she looks inside and sees the bowl and bracelets.
"I love it..." she says, almost in tears. "Thank you, Miki..." she hugs me, tears falling down her face.
"You're welcome... Happy Winterfest, Hinako." I pull back and hold her face. I smile while looking at her eyes.
"How can you smile while looking at me? I'm broken..."
I remember the lyrics of the song that was playing while I was putting together the bowl... Tear in my heart. "Sometimes you gotta bleed to know... That you're alive and have a soul..."
"That's a nice song..."
"It's one of my favorites. You're broken... But you're still beautiful. These scars will fade eventually. You know that, right?"
She smiles. "Yeah... They will."
"Don't worry, Hinako... I'm here for you." I hold her to my chest. My heart is beating faster, and my face is bright red...
"I have a gift for you too..." Hinako says to my surprise. "Look at me, okay?" I move back and look into her eyes. She moves closer and closer, her eyes fixed on my lips. I lean closer to meet her, but before we could kiss, Kendo runs into the dojo.
"What are you doing?!" he yells at me. "I told you she was dangerous!"
"She was just about to kiss me!" I yell back. "Can't you see that?!"
"Get away from my friend, you monster!" Kendo grabs me away from Hinako, pointing his Katana at her.
"Miki!"
"Hinako!"
"Stay back, night rose!" he continues to point his Katana at her, keeping her away from me. I look through my bag to find something I could use to get out of this situation.
"Kendo, let go of me!"
"I'm just keeping you safe! She's an oni!"
"She's a puppet!" I continue to rummage through my bag, looking for a knife or an alarm or something. Then I see it.
"The mask still controls her!" Miku yells as she runs into the dojo.
"I'm not doing anything!" Hinako calls out, her voice sounding weak.
"Let me go! Or I'll use this!" I lift up the void oni mask. To be honest, I had no clue how it worked, but it was my only option.
"You wouldn't dare..."
"Try me." I put on the oni mask. Suddenly, I feel a rush of energy coursing through me. I make a void tear using the mask on the other side of the dojo and teleport to it, getting away from Kendo. So that's how it works... I immediately run between Kendo and Hinako...
Who do I choose?
One of my first friends, or...
My love?
What do I fight for?
"Hey, Hinako?" I ask, moving closer to her.
"Miki?"
"What was that gift you were gonna give me?"
"It was this..." she doesn't waste any time. She holds the back of my head, pushing it forward and kissing me. I immediately melt into the kiss, running my tongue along her lips to tease her. She opens her mouth, and our tongues dance together in a wave of passion. We pull away, connected by a string of saliva between us. "I love you, Miki."
"I love you too, Hinako... Happy Winterfest."
"This is the best Winterfest a girl could've asked for..."
"Well, except for..." I point at her arm.
"I'll recover. Does anyone have any bandages though?"
"Here!" Miku says, walking over to Hinako with a med kit. She immediately wraps bandages around Hinako's arm, trying not to hurt her too much. "Feel better?"
"Yeah... Thanks."
She's pulled back up by the strings, and I run to her. The mask shoots fireballs at me, hitting me in the chest and legs and making me fall over.
"MIKI!!" Hinako yells. "Miki, are you okay?!"
That was the last thing I heard at the dojo. Then it all faded to black...

Dark World, New Friend?
Date: October 5th, 2131
Oooooooh boy. Okay. You're never gonna believe what just happened.
So Papa and I were at the school in Hometowns helping my Auntie Toriel move classrooms. Some of my cousins were there helping too (how Papa even convinced me was a chance to see CK). While Papa and my older cousin Kris cleaned out Aunt Tori's old classroom, CK and I were helping clean the new classroom she was moving into.
I was just looking for a feather duster when I noticed the closet connected to the classroom was locked. When I asked Aunt Tori about it, she said Kris might have the keys but there was another door to the closet in the hall. After that CK exclaimed "RACE YA!" and was already out the door.
For as much as I love my cousin, he's always been really brash and never cautious. He might make fun of me for being overly cautious but at least I don't get into trouble all the time like he does.
Anyways, once we got to the door, I called for CK to wait, but like, as soon as he got close the doors sprung open and started... emitting darkness. Just like in my dream.
I tried to tell CK to wait or maybe have us grab an adult but, before I could say a word, he grabbed my hand and jumped in. Like I said. Always brash, never cautious.
After falling in to the closet, CK and I landed in a strange, dark place, as well as had some sort of costume change? CK looked like some kinda princely jester? Meanwhile I was wearing armor and had an apron and googles. There was also some sort of town or... well it felt more like a city honestly. There were all these buildings and strange monster like creatures and even a castle! Of course CK rushed a head again. Even I admit I sorta wanted to explore.
At some point while we were exploring, taking in this amazing city within the storage closet, CK got tackled by something. A round sorta bluish imp in a jester costume. He was soon accompanied by a short puppet with slicked black hair, a wide grin, glasses and a long nose, wearing a tattered black suit jacket. (Man, actually describing it, guess it looked kinda like me... or what I looked like before entering the strange world in the closet.)
We later learned the imp and puppet's names were Jevil and Spamton, and that they were not infact, weird monsters, but beings known as "Darkners". They also referred to us as "Lightners". (Jevil also called CK and I "green" which was weird because neither of us were. I was pink and yellow while CK like, his fur was orange and he was dressed in purples, blues, blacks and yellows)
Jevil seemed pretty excited about CK and I, at least I think, while Spamton sorta yelled at/berated him? I was still trying to process the whole situation when Kris found us. Looks like we were busted... Kris said the two of us weren't supposed to be there and this place was apparently "too dangerous for kids", even though they wouldn't tell us why and Jevil kept retorting their claims. CK and I also piped up with the fact that were a whole 9 years old and practically pre-teens already! (Despite the fact I like just barely turned 9 last month, it's not important)
Eventually we came to a compromise. Kris would test our strength and if we pasted by showing we knew how to ACT and spar and stuff, then we'd be allowed to stay and hang out in the strange closet world. Since the training dummy Kris wanted to use was apparently being used by other people according to Spamton (I'm guessing for a display since he mentioned display purposes only? Spamton talks a bit weird, I'll get into that some other time), Kris pointed us to a building labeled "Party Dojo"
Inside the Dojo, Kris talked to a blue puzzle shaped Darkner before leading CK and I to a sorta wrestling ring with a disco ball hanging above it. (Or, it WAS a disco ball. As soon as I looked away and back, it turned into a pumpkin. There's been a LOT of pumpkins and jack-o-lanterns around today.)
Once we all in the ring, we started the battle. Though the options were similar, something about battles in the closet dimension was still different from what I was used to. I had an actual weapon instead of just my magic and bullet patterns (a pair of dual blades) and we all fought as a together as a team. Kris ended up doing most the work... until they decided itd be better if CK and I fight THEM on our own. While CK seemed more than eager, the idea of fighting Kris sorta... scared me. Even if the other side of the area was more like the sparing I'm used to, I really don't like using my magic and didn't quite know how to use my new swords. (Just my luck CK got a hammer he seemed to nail down first try.) Even still, I had to attack if I wanted to show Kris I was strong and capable enough to hang out in this awesome place! So using all the courage I had, I swung my blades and attacked with my string magic. I think I even moved the battle box around, still don't really know how. Kris still ended up sparing both of us and ending the battle. (They ended up sparing me by praising my attack...)
Anyways, after the battle, Kris agreed to let us stay. Granted under their supervision and only for a while. The 5 of us headed to the Castle in the center of the town and had some pie, where I had a chance to get to know Spamton a bit more...

What You Wish For: Chapter 16. The War Within
The boys have been through it. But I think it's finally time for some brotherly bonding.
~*~*~*~*~*~
It’s been 4 months. Four months, and it still feels like yesterday. I swear I can still smell the blood. Leo’s blood, all over my hands…
I’m still sore from the escapade in the warehouse last month, but everything’s healing alright. Doctor Donnie has been particularly vigilant with check-ups every morning and night (whether I want them or not). Mikey usually tags along, cracking jokes anytime he sees me getting too annoyed at the attention.
It’s the only time I really see ‘em. I stay locked away in my room for the most part, both for rest and because… I’m still not ready to face ‘em. Every day I say I’m gonna and every day I chicken out.
I just can’t hurt ‘em anymore. Can’t take Don looking at me like I’m a murderer. Again. Can’t stand the idea of Mikey looking at me like that at all. Sensei might understand, he understands everything. Though this wouldn’t be the first time I tested his limits…
One of my many cursed talents.
I release my anger in a sigh, trying very hard not to damage the walls anymore. It doesn’t matter what I think about lately, my mind always rounds back to self-loathing. I need to snap out of this. Leo said I needed to be here, needed to help the others. I still don’t have any clue how he thinks I can do anything, but I left him so I could try. I ain’t gonna let that be for nothing. Can’t.
My ears perk up as I hear voices down the hall. Doesn’t sound like they’re coming this way, but I freeze up anyway. I wait at least a minute to be sure they’re not coming to knock on my door (damn it’s sad how freaked out I get) before taking a breath.
It sounds like they’re in…
Quietly as I can, I walk to the end of the hallway, and I hear Mikey talking.
“I know, okay. I know… but…”
The pause is so tense I can feel the strain from here.
“He liked things clean. Just because he’s not here, doesn’t… doesn’t mean…”
Choking silence takes the room again. All I hear is one of them shifting his weight uncomfortably and one of them… wiping something? Petting something? What on earth are they—
“Try this.” Don says, a hint of resignation in his voice.
Curiosity gets the better of me, so I suck in a breath and chance a peak: with both shells to the door, they’re standing in front of the bookcase on the other side of the room… Dusting?
“It works best with a wet cloth. Keeps more of the dust trapped.”
They fall back into silence, meticulously making their way over every book spine and into every corner.
I whip back behind the wall. Can’t take looking at it. Looking at that pristine room that will never be slept in again. My fault. All my—
“There’s no more green tea.”
Mike must have offered the same confused look I felt on my face, because Don clears his throat to continue.
“Sensei and Leo are the only ones who drink it. The only two who know how to make it properly. I went to go make some for Sensei the night after we got back from the farmhouse and there was very little left in the tin. I tried to make it anyway, but it didn’t…”
The dusting stops abruptly.
“Leo’s gone… really gone. And it wasn’t his empty room or the quiet of the lair that made it hit home. It was the tea. That he’s the only one who knew how to make Sensei’s tea in the morning. And the dust in the dojo; Leo’s the one who cleaned it before his morning katas. And the books; he was the only one who would at least attempt to read a book I’d recommend. The only one who caught on to some of my literary references. The only one who…”
I hear him choke down a sob and I have to hold my breath to keep from punching the wall.
“I miss him tucking me in after a nightmare.” Mikey sounds like he’s on the verge of tears too. “I miss watching him train. I miss trying to sneak up on him while he meditated.” They both snort a quick laugh. “I miss hearing him tell us it’s all going to be okay. ‘Cause even when we knew it wasn’t, he was so convincing I always believed him.”
They pause—to hug or something, I assume—and I feel myself moving away. I can’t take hearing this anymore.
Can't take hearing them so broken.
Can’t take hearing about him.
“After everything we’ve been through, everything we’ve survived, I can’t believe it was a stupid bullet…” Mikey is full on crying now. I don’t know if it’s his tears or his words, but I’m suddenly at war with myself; my brain says run, run as far you can until your legs stop working and darkness finds you.
But my feet move me in the wrong direction.
“Why this time? Why couldn’t we get to him in time? Why was he the one who—“
“Because of me.”
I feel their eyes on me like darts on a target, probably as surprised by my sudden appearance as I am. Everything in me screams to get out of here. To stay silent. To never speak of that night again as long as I live. But here I am, standing in front of my brothers, admitting my sin. Because my instinct to run nearly got my family killed last month. I’m not about to let it happen again.
“Tell them…”
I suck in a breath and grind my teeth and force the words out.
“He was trying to bring me back to the warehouse to help you two, but I didn’t like that he’d come after me. Didn’t want to be ordered around.”
It sounds so stupid now. So petty. I’d felt entirely justified at the time.
I’d felt…
“I DON’T NEED YOU!”
My fingers curl into my palm before my hands start shaking. Hatred boils in me like a volcano about to erupt. Hatred like I’ve never felt for any of the villains we’ve ever faced.
Hatred for myself.
“So I did what I always do, I got mad. I shouted at him. Argued with him. Tried to slug him.”
I barely have time to process the fear in his voice as my fist flies through the air at his jaw.
“Suddenly I’m skidding across to the other side of the roof. He pushed me outta the way of something…“
Anger rises as I prepare the mother of all curses to hurl at my brother, who’s staring off into the distance, sword drawn and ready.
“I didn’t see it… I was so focused on being angry at him that I didn’t notice the sniper. But Leo did.” Leo always did.
I scan the horizon of roofs until I come across the intrusion; an lone purple dragon on the adjacent building, weapon lying limply in his lap, fighting to wrench free from the blade now pinning him to a chimney through his shoulder. Just barely above his heart. His frantic spasms last all of a minute before he stills entirely. Permanently.
“When I looked up, I saw the guy by the chimney with a katana through his chest, and Leo just standin’ there. He was… he was bleedin’… He—“
A chill runs down my spine as I freeze in place, staring at the watery puddle of red that’s slowly crawling towards me. For a minute, my vision blurs. Everything seems to shut down as I slowly look up, tracking the blood to it’s source.
Leo’s staring down at his hand by his stomach, eyes wide.
There’s blood dripping down his fingers.
Dammit. I slam my eyes shut and gulp down the sob that’s begging to come out. My fists are clenched so tight I can’t even feel ‘em anymore.
Run. Run away.
No! Just say it. Say it and be done with it. Be done with them. They’ll hate and curse and never speak to me again, but at least they’ll know. Might even bring them some closure. I owe them that much, at least.
“Tell them…”
“The bullet was meant for me. He pushed me outta the way… He took it. But it was supposed to be me.” I can’t breathe past the lump in my throat. My fist is itching for something hard to connect with. I wanna look up and see if they’re even still standing there, but I don’t dare. Can’t ever look ‘em in the eyes again. “It’s my fault.”
The denial nearly chokes me. It can’t be… there’s no way….
“Leo’s dead ‘cause of me.”
The minute his name leaves my lips I can’t stand being in the room any longer. I want to apologize, want to say I’m sorry, but it’s pointless. It doesn’t mean anything… it won’t bring him back. It won’t change what happened.
What I did.
I can’t fight it anymore. I’m half way out the room before I can blink and I’m shaking so hard I nearly run into the door on my way out.
I don’t get two feet down the hall before I’m abruptly lilting. My hand grasps at the wall to keep me steady, but the room is spinning and I’m not sure which way is up anymore. I hear shouting from behind me, and Mikey’s suddenly at my side with my arm over his shoulder. Don runs in front of me, his eyes searching to find what’s wrong. He’s talking—I can see his lips moving—but I can’t hear a word. There’s a ringing in my ears that drowns everything out.
Don’s eyes lock with mine. Those eyes that know I killed our brother.
I think I’m gonna be sick.
My lids close of their own volition as I feel myself falling.
“Raph… Don’t—“
Leo?
“Don’t shut them out. They’ll need…”
Fearless…
Darkness takes me.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
“You think you don’t measure up?”
“I know… you don’t need me.”
“Remember what I told you. That night. The last thing I said. Remember it. Please… never forget it.”
“RAPH!”
I jack-knife upright so fast it makes me dizzy. Like a top that loses speed, I tip over and fall back onto my bed, my eyes snapping shut in a futile attempt to keep the headache at bay. Flashes of memory from the last few days keep jumping in front of me like a movie trailer on fast forward. It takes at least a good two minutes before my mind calms down enough to think clearly and notice someone’s hand on my shoulder, trying to hold me steady.
Worried eyes behind an orange bandana are staring down at me, telling me to lay still. “…Mike?”
“I’m here.” No jokes. That’s never a good sign with him. “Stay still, I’m gonna go get Donnie—“
“No, don’t—” I go to grab his arm, but the sudden movement pulls something in my side, sending a shooting pain across my whole upper body. I can’t hide the wince as my hand goes for the bandages—I think I may have popped a stitch or two—and Mike sits right back down.
“You okay?”
I only nod, afraid my voice might give away how much this stings. Fortunately Mikey stays quiet for the next few moments while I get a handle on it.
Too quiet. Mike’s never this quiet. Not unless he’s really upset. Maybe silence isn’t the best policy right now. “What happened?”
He’s off in another world, staring at my bandages, so I move my hand and try again. “Hey,” He’s still eyeing my injury. “What happened?”
“It was stress.” Don comes through the door, his voice steady and low. I can’t tell if that’s comforting or ominous, but as he closes the door it feels like the latter. “Your body was so at war with itself, it had no choice but to shut down. Reboot.”
Admittedly I’m only half listening because it takes a good amount of focus for me to sit up after that incident; I hate talking to people while lying down, feels far too vulnerable. “How long was I out?” Just a question to keep them occupied. It's taking more effort than I thought to move, so I don’t want them to see me grimace as I trudge to the edge of the bed.
Definitely wasn’t expecting Don’s answer.
“Seventy-two hours.”
“Three days!?”
“Honestly, I don’t think it was enough. It’s only been a month since the warehouse and that stab wound was not minor. You clearly needed the rest.”
I feel their eyes move to my torso, staring at the bandages, and the room goes suddenly quiet. Still. Like someone sucked the oxygen out of the room and we’re all holding our breath to keep from choking.
I’m waiting for Mike to part the silence with a joke or a quip like he usually does, but he’s barely breathing. They’re both just there, staring at me and trying not to catch my eyes. I feel like a caged animal at the zoo.
Run. Run away.
The impulse is so strong, I’m on my feet before I catch the thought and stop it. It freaks my brothers out and they’re both standing with their hands out like their ready to stop me.
Brothers… am I even allowed to call them that anymore? Or did that privilege get buried up at the farmhouse too?
My chest tightens so fast I’m winded. I turn away so they can’t see my face. I should say something… but what else can I—what other words could possibly—“sorry” isn’t enough. Will never be.
“Leo’s dead ‘cause of me.”
My fist is in the wall before I can stop it. Need the pain. Need the connection to keep me here. Keep me from—
“I know... you don’t need me.”
Dammit.
“You still… don’t get it.”
Not again.
“It’s that I—“
I have to get out of here!
“Don’t shut them out.”
It pops into my head just as I’m about to book it for the door.
“They’ll need…”
“—You.”
Clarity comes a little slow. I only catch the tail end of Mikey’s sentence as he grips my torso.
“What?”
“Don’t go, Raph. Stay. Please. We need you.”
He’s not even looking at me. His face is buried in my side as he hugs me close, like he’s afraid to let go.
“Please…”
I… I don’t know what to do. I don’t… he shouldn't want this. He should be furious with me, should hate my guts! He shouldn’t be begging me to stay. He shouldn’t be waiting by my bed. He shouldn’t be here! I shouldn’t be here!
“Why?” I didn’t mean to ask, I meant to leave. But I can’t help myself. “How can you just… You heard me right? I killed Leo!” My voice cracks as I say his name, which only makes Mikey’s grip tighter. “I killed him…”
“You didn’t!”
Don finds his voice with sudden urgency. He sounds… desperate? I still can’t look at him.
“The Dragons pulled the trigger. Their bullet, their gun. And…” He swallows thickly, not even trying to hide the emotion in his voice. “Leo’s choice.”
My whole body goes rigid.
“He saw it coming and chose to protect you. We all know once Leo’s in protective mode, there’s no stopping him.” He pauses a moment, like he’s enjoying that last thought, before his voice gets intensely serious. “It was his choice, Raph. None of this was your fault. I… I never should have blamed you.”
My eyes snap shut. “You were right—“
“No, I wasn’t! I was angry and scared and hurt, and I thought blaming someone would make the pain go away, but it didn’t, and I never should have blamed you! The dragons set the trap. They’re the ones to blame. They—“ A shrivelled sob escapes him, and it makes my heart lurch. “They took Leo… they killed him. He’s gone because of… because of…”
The minute he starts crying, I can’t help myself. I grab his shell and pull him close, wrapping my arms around him in a vice grip. I half expected him to pull away, but he leans into it hard, burying his face in my shoulder as he lets the tears flow.
Mikey breaks down the minute Don stops talking, crying almost as hard and sobbing much louder. I move one arm to cloak his shoulders and pull him close as well.
And suddenly I feel something rattle loose in my chest. With a brother under each arm and tears wetting each shoulder, relief sweeps over me with such intensity my legs can’t hold me up. I fall to my knees, bringing both brothers with me, and I breathe deep for what feels like the first time in forever. They don’t seem to notice, only holding me tighter as we kneel on the floor of my bedroom.
I need this. I need this moment to be there for them and share their pain. I need this connection, this contact, this tether.
I need them. And they’re here. And for the first time since that night, the urge to run disappears entirely.
I pull them closer, suddenly terrified they’ll disappear like a dream. They both lean into it, crying harder and gripper tighter. Don must have felt the same fear because he abruptly blubbers quietly into my shoulder and throws a vice grip around my shell.
“Please don’t leave. I’m so sorry… It wasn’t your fault. Please Raph, please don’t leave us again. Please…”
I will never forget how broken he sounded.
My hand goes to the back of his head—Leo always did that when he got emotional—and I say with as much conviction as I possess. “I ain’t going nowhere.”
I promise.
“They need you, Raph. They need you.”
“I promise.”

My brain just went what if I turned the ideya from NiGHTS into Dreams/Journey of Dreams into Precure so.
Red ideya would be a strong and courageous lead cure. She would be short and slightly chubby, her main hobbies would be working out and she would be the sporty kind of lead. She would live in an old edo styled house (much like Honoka's) and her mother would own a gym or karate dojo.
White ideya would be a stubborn but naive girl from the Night Dimension (or Dream Realm if I fit it into my AU canon) in her true form she would be a white jester much like NiGHTS or Reala. Her backstory would be mysterious and she would be rescued by red after being banished to the Waking World. She would be tall with long white hair usually put in a ponytail. Her demeanor would be similar to Supreme from All Stars F.
The blue ideya would be a very Cure Aqua type cure. She would be the smart one who always seems to know everything. Her childhood friend would be green who would be like a little sister to her. She would wear glasses and be an average height for a 3rd year middle schooler. Her family would be big and friendly contrasting her serious exterior.
The green ideya would be a curious and friendly young girl who would always be excited to learn new things. The type of cinnamon roll who would go "I didn't know that!" and "I'm gonna look that up!" excitedly at any chance she gets. She would be one year younger then blue and be in the same class as red. She would be one inch shorter then blue and have wavy green hair styled much like Erika (Heartcatch). Her family would be just her and her parents with blue's family being very close.
Yellow would be the midseason if that role doesn't go to white. Yellow would be an overly optimistic girl to the point it also becomes a little bit of a flaw. She is the one I have the least ideas for but she would probably be the second tallest (White being the absolute tallest) and have blonde pigtails. Imagine Urara's Otona outfit. Maybe she could be a first year in highschool maker her the big sister of the group.
To transform their hands would glow the color of their corresponding ideya before being placed on their face and turning into a persona mask with their colored gem. They would have jester motifs.

~I knew you in another life, you had that same look in your eyes~
Prev - Next Chapter
“You said you know karate, right?” Kenny asked and Trixie nodded with a smile.
“Yeah, why?”
“Well, there’s this cool guy! He’s teaching me out in the back so I thought maybe-”
“We could teach you together?” Trixie finished his sentence and Kenny nodded with a smile, “Alright, well, I suppose if you’re getting beat up by some kids at your school, self-defense is the best option to defend yourself.
“Yes! Now I’ve got two karate kids on my side.” Kenny smiled and led Trixie out to the backyard.
“You’re not replacing me, are you?” Trixie asked and Kenny chuckled.
“Nah, it’s just this guy I met at this dojo.” He explained. Trixie frowned. Karate dojo?
“What is she doing here?” A familiar-looking boy her age with the same green eyes and a new haircut glared at her. Trixie surveyed him with a calm look before looking at Kenny.
“Is this the guy?” She asked and Kenny nodded, slightly confused at why the two of them knew each other. Trixie turned to Robby, “I’m his babysitter… It’s nice to see you again, Robby.”
Robby pursed his lips, “Can’t say the same given the circumstances.”
“How’s Tory?” Trixie asked.
“Better now that you’re gone.”
“Mm. Makes sense.” She frowned. Kenny looked between them awkwardly and Trixie sighed, “Kenny, I’m assuming you met Robby at Cobra Kai, right?”
“Uh, yeah… How’d you know?” He asked.
“I used to be in Cobra Kai.” Trixie smiled as Robby stared her down, “Anyways if we’re gonna teach you, I’m not sure if Cobra Kai’s the way.”
“You’ve got to be kidding me.” Robby scoffed, “The only reason you left is because you wanted to get back with your boyfriend who cheated on you.”
“Yeah, the one who cheated on me with your girlfriend, right?” Trixie shot back and sighed. “Alright, this is unprofessional. If Robby’s going to be the one to teach you to defend yourself, I can’t stop you. I can only be here to teach you as well.”
“Right… Um…”
“I’m fine with that,” Robby said with a calm expression as Trixie sat down on the deck stairs. “Kenny, c’mon.”
Trixie watched as the two of them started to spar, Robby instructing him. “I’m not gonna hit you and I’ll go slow, but you need to remember to fight back.” The taller boy said and Kenny nodded.
Robby moved towards him, “Ais! Ais!” He shouted and Kenny whimpered, moving backwards quickly. Robby sighed, “Let’s run it again. I’m not gonna make contact, all right? Lord knows Trixie would kill me if I did.” He muttered the last part.
Trixie shot him a look, “He’s a kid who’s still learning. He needs to learn how to get hit in real life, not in a spar.” She said before turning to Kenny, “But you actually will get hit if you don’t fight back.”
Kenny nodded, holding up his fists. Trixie frowned before going over and turning his elbows slightly in. “You want to protect your chest.” She instructed.
Trixie looked between the two of them, “Bow.” She said. They both lowered their heads before turning to Trixie and bowing.
“Remember, always look your opponent in the eye,” Robby told him.
“Ready? Fight!” Trixie yelled. Robby came up towards him and Kenny flinched again, backing away.
Robby sighed before throwing a series of soft kicks, “Ais! Ais!” He moved forward, swinging his fist before pinning Kenny to the fence with his hand on his chest.
“Point for Keene.” The blue-haired girl sighed.
“Y’know, I’m not sure that I buy that you’re Shawn’s brother.” Robby took his hand off of Kenny’s chest.
“Well, Shawn was always big and strong, okay?” Kenny swallowed roughly, “All I can do is run.”
“You’re fast… That’s a good thing.” Trixie spoke up, the two of them turning to her. “Use it to run at your opponents. You might not be strong enough to but you’ll throw the first punch.”
Robby looked at Trixie, something unfamiliar in his eyes before turning to Kenny, “Let’s go again.”

“Kenny, fancy seeing you here.” Trixie walked up behind Kenny. The boy looked up with wide eyes as he spotted her.
“Hey! I didn’t you go here either.” He said and Trixie chuckled before spotting his Cobra Kai shirt. Her smile fell slightly before she picked it back up again.
“Nice to see a familiar face. Didn’t think that you’d be in the area, though.” She said, walking down the hallway alongside him.
“We’re just visiting. Y’know, with the end of the school year coming soon and all that. It’s for the new freshman.” Kenny explained before his eyes flickered down to the ground.
“Hey, what happened? Those bullies bother you again?” She asked and Kenny shrugged with a discouraged expression.
“Something like that. I was in the bathroom and these random guys started coming at me… This one guy, he had red spiky hair, he said that I should Cobra Kai as fast as I can.” Kenny muttered.
‘Hawk…’ Trixie thought. “I think I know who you’re talking about.” She said and Kenny shot her a look, “I’ll talk to him for you.”
“Really? You’re gonna use your karate moves on him, right?” Kenny asked and Trixie shrugged.
“Something like that.”

“Yo, guys.” Kyler called to Tory and Robby, “My boy Rory, he got some free tickets to the drive-in tonight. They're going old school, something called Bloodsport?”
“I know that movie. My dad left an old VHS at our place.” Robby said, “It was the only evidence I had that he existed.”
Okay, talk about angsty and dramatic, right?
“I heard it's dope. So, if you guys are in, let's do this.” Kyler smiled.
“Depends on how late I have to work tonight. My new boss put me on the schedule for today.” Tory looked down at the ground before muttering, “Guy's a total creep.”
“You got a new job? Where are you working?” Robby asked.
“It's none of your business.” Tory sassed.
“Okay…” Robby sighed before spotting Kenny coming up to them, “Look who made it.” Kenny looked at Robby with a deadpan stare and he frowned at the sight. “What's up?”
“I was at the high school yesterday and these older kids started messing with me. One guy told me I should quit Cobra Kai.” Kenny muttered.
“Who was he?”
“I don't know. He had this spiky red hair.” Kenny muttered.
Tory’s face turned into anger, “We still owe that Judas some payback.” She said angrily.
“Hell yeah.” Kyler cracked his knuckles.
“Your friend, Trixie, she said she’d deal with him or something like that. Is she in Cobra Kai or something?” Kenny asked.
Robby glanced at Tory before turning back to Kenny, “Something like that.” He said and Tory glanced down to the ground with a slightly sad expression.
“Everyone fall in,” Kreese called.

Trixie tapped her foot as she watched a group of young girls run by. She was dragged to a kid's party by Sam who was dragged there by her mom. She was going to say no and just stay home with her brother but he told her he needed to get ready… For a date.
"Did I really have to come to this?" Sam asked, annoyed.
"Uh, Shelia's worked for us for ten years. She's practically family. Anyway, you used to love to babysit Cindee." Amanda replied. Sam rolled her eyes.
"That doesn't change the fact that this is just about the last place I'd like to spend my Saturday." Sam scoffed.
"A lot of people have it worse than you," Amanda stated. Sam just stared at her mom.
"She's got a point, Sam," Trixie added. Sam rolled her eyes again as loud pop music sounded through the speakers. The little kids started cheering, making Trixie look over to see a bunch of young women dressed as mermaids. One of them though looked oddly familiar. Trixie squinted before her eyes widened in realization. Tory?
Sam laughed next to her. "Did I say the last place I want to spend my Saturday? I meant the first." She said, staring at Tory with a smirk. Trixie frowned at this. She knew Tory had to work a lot to help her mom and brother and seeing Trixie and Sam probably didn't help her feel any better.
“Hey, lay it off Sam, she’s just doing her job,” Trixie added and Sam bit her lip slightly.
“Sure.” She muttered.
Tory and the other girls separated and started walking around, entertaining the young kids. "Can you tell us a story?" Cindee, the birthday girl asked, tugging on Tory's skirt.
“Sure I can. Let's all sit in a circle." Tory instructed the kids who had joined her with a smile.
"Oh, we gotta hear this," Sam said, grabbing Trixie's arm and dragging her over to them.
"Sam-"
The brunette dragged Trixie over to the group, making Tory glance at them. Trixie stared at Tory, mouthing ‘Sorry’ to her with an apologetic expression.
Tory cleared her throat and turned her attention to the little kids. "The prince did everything to climb the mountain, but the dragon carried me there so he could eat me alive. But then the valiant prince came to my rescue." Tory said, waving her hands comically as she told the tale.
"Oh, is that the prince you beat up?" Sam asked with a smirk. Trixie turned and looked at her.
"The other princess hurt a friend of mine first," Tory stated, glaring at Sam before turning back to the kids. "Anyway, uh, the dragon breathed hot fire at the prince, melting his sword. So now I had to save the prince." Tory continued.
"Using what? A weapon like, I don't know, a spiked bracelet or nunchucks?" Sam asked rhetorically.
"Sam, stop it." Trixie scolded quietly. Tory glanced at the two.
"No, by singing a magic song," Tory replied, trying to keep her composure in front of the kids.
"Oh, and how did the song go?" Sam asked.
"Yeah, sing us the song." One of the kids stated. The other kids joined in, hoping Tory would sing them the song. Tory glared at Sam before turning to the kids and starting to sing the song.
“Beautiful dragon, please go to sleep. Sunset is falling now time to count sheep.” Tory sang quietly. Trixie smiled slightly, she had a nice voice.
"Wow. And I thought you were bad at fighting." Sam chuckled, before getting to her feet. Sam walked away, Tory watching her.
"I'm sorry about her…" Trixie mumbled to Tory before walking over to Amanda, who had watched the whole thing.
"That was not cool,” Trixie said to Sam. Sam rolled her eyes.
“She’s the one who tried to beat me up and stab me with a bracelet.” Sam defended.
“Right, but sabotaging her job won’t help her.” Trixie said, “Just because she acts like a bully doesn’t mean that you treat her like that.”
Sam sighed, “I guess I was being a bit of an asshole.” She muttered and Trixie smiled.
“Glad you admitted it.” The blue-haired girl grinned and Sam gave her a warm smile.
"Die evil witch!" A bunch of kids shouted, making Trixie look up. The kids Tory had been entertaining ran over to Sam and threw glitter on her.
Trixie widened her eyes at the glitter coating Sam into a human disco ball before chuckling, “Alright, let’s get you cleaned up.” She said, brushing glitter out of her hair.
Sam turned to see Tory staring at them before smirking and turning back to Trixie, “Trixie, you’re such a good friend you know that?” She asked, “Miguel’s lucky to have you.”
Trixie gave a confused look before smiling awkwardly, “Thank you?” She said and Sam smiled.
“No problem, just telling the truth,” Sam said and Trixie chuckled slightly as she brushed glitter from her hair and clothes.

Miguel pulled up to the drive-in movie with a smile as he turned to Trixie, “Y’know, this could count as a date.” He said and Trixie raised her eyebrows with a smirk.
“Oh, yes, a date at a drive-in movie about a couple of guys beating each other up with my not-established boyfriend sounds like a dream,” Trixie said sarcastically.
“Well… We could always change that.” Miguel suggested with a slight smile, “I could be your… Established boyfriend instead? I mean… Do you want me to be your established boyfriend?”
The blue-haired girl smiled with a slightly flushed face before pecking his lips, “Does that count as an answer?”
“Yes.” He said bluntly and leaned in for more. Trixie placed her finger on his lips.
“Tsk, you’re greedy y’know that?” She teased, “After all, I’m here to watch a movie with my now-established boyfriend.”
Miguel rolled his eyes, “This is bullying.”
“Then I guess I better be punished.” Trixie said before unbuckling, “I’m gonna get us some snacks, wait right here.”
“For you? Always.” Miguel said and Trixie chuckled before closing the door behind her. The cool air breezed past her, cooling down her flamed face as she went to the snack shack for some food.
As her shoes snapped against the concrete floor, she spotted a familiar figure carrying buckets of snacks in his arms. It was weird that they kept on meeting in strange places.
“Kenny!” Trixie shouted and ran up to him, taking two of the nachos from his popcorn. “Dude, how’d you expect to carry that?”
“Some of the guys in Cobra Kai wanted snacks,” Kenny explained, walking a bit faster now that he was able to see clearly.
“Right… And you couldn’t ask Robby for help? He’s the one who got you hooked on it.” Trixie said and Kenny sighed.
“He told me to get him something too.”
“Ah, I see.” Trixie frowned, “Well, they won't be too happy to see me anymore. So, I’m gonna have to give these back to you when we get to the cars.”
Kenny nodded, a question settled into his mind before he shoved it back down. She quit Cobra Kai, that was all he needed to know right?
“Trixie, seriously?” A familiar voice called out to her and Trixie rolled her eyes, turning around.
“Leave it, Hawk.” Trixie frowned at the spiky-haired boy. “He’s a kid, he doesn’t know what he’s getting into.”
“He’s in Cobra Kai.”
“And so were we.” Trixie countered, “Leave it alone.”
“Or what?”
“Or we’re gonna have to see who strikes first.” She said and a mild shock came onto Hawk’s face. Lately, she’d been feeling a lot more angrier. Ever since Kreese had paid her a ‘visit’, there was an itch in her body that she couldn’t scratch, making her more and more annoyed than ever.
“How do you even know this kid anyway?” Hawk glared at Kenny, who widened his eyes with fear.
“It doesn’t matter if I do or not. It matters that you’re being a bully.” Trixie frowned, stepping in front of Kenny, “Now, leave it.”
Hawk turned to Kenny, “I’d be careful if I were you.”
“Yeah, same goes for you.” Robby came up beside Kenny, looking at Trixie. “Leave it, Trixie.”
“Look who it is.” Hawk scoffed.
“You betrayed Miyagi-Do. Traitor.” Nathaniel said.
“Oh, there's a traitor here for sure. They’re gonna get what they deserve.” Tory called out, spotting Trixie and swallowing harshly.
“I don't think so. Not if I have anything to say about it, Princess.” Sam came up with her arms crossed.
“Hey, guys. Can you believe that they have Mr. Pibb and Dr. Pepper?” Demetri asked before spotting the two dojos together with wide eyes, “Oh shit. Not another rumble.”
“Careful, LaRusso. Your mommy isn't here to play peacemaker.” Tory sneered.
“I’d be careful too, Trixie’s not always gonna be there to defend you.” Sam snapped back and Tory glared at her.
“What's that supposed to mean?”
“Why do they always talk about me like I’m not even here,” Trixie muttered, catching Miguel’s gaze.
“Stop. We can't do this.” Miguel said. “We'll beat 'em on the mat.”
“Oh really? You remember what happened the last time we fought, right?” Robby rolled his eyes.
“Okay. Meet us at the baseball diamond in 30 minutes.” Trixie stared at Robby. For some reason, she was itching for a chance to punch someone in the face. “And no weapons.” She added.
“Yeah, we won't need 'em,” Tory said.
“I seriously doubt it.” Trixie looked up and down at Tory before the rest of the dojos split.

𝗺𝗮𝘆𝗯𝗲 𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁, they weren't necessarily going out of their way to make things harder, but they were also doing very little to make things easier. almost living in a state of permanent 𝗽𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 for their part to play in what had gone down at the cobra kai dojo that night. but it wasn't as simple for mercy as it was for the others. everyone else could just 𝘄𝗮𝗹𝗸 away and say that they never trusted terry silver. but it wasn't like things were as black and white for mercy as they were for everyone else. he wasn't just their 𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗶 , he had been so much more than that. but silver was in prison, they hadn't even spoken to him yet and mainly been communicating with lawyer. mercy didn't even know what they were doing here at miyagi - do, it wasn't like they would be welcome here and they hadn't intended to be caught here, but sensei lawrence had found them sitting in their car and now they wished more than anything to just be able to drive away. green eyes roll and they shake their head, " well thank you captain obvious, as if i wasn't already aware of that. you gonna tell me the sky is blue too? " okay, that wasn't fair. but mercy didn't know much about johnny lawrence, apart from that he used to be cobra kai back in the 80s, that his son had been a part of cobra kai and now worked with daniel larusso in their dojo together. running a hand over their hair, they looked at him, " i don't know how to make things easier. i don't know what to do because i fucked over the one person who ever did anything for me. i don't know what to do because he's always told me what i should do . . . " did that sound just as 𝗽𝗮𝗵𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗰 to him as it did to them. shaking their head, mercy turned to open the door to their car again, knowing that coming here was a mistake, " it doesn't matter. i shouldn't have come here, "

Rainy confession
You were always a fighter, never one to let others walk over you and for that you had to thank your parents because from very early on they ingrained in your brain that you were to be no one’s stepping stone, hence why they were so adamant on you learning self-defense.
It wasn’t just that your parents wanted you to be able to defend yourself but you also had a knack for fighting. There have always been that flame inside of you that made your blood run faster and your heart skip a beat whenever you were in front of a strong opponent; you always loved the thrill; even if along the way you got a few bruises, there was nothing that compared to the satisfaction that came with winning a fight.
Of course with time you started to get in fewer fights to placate your mother’s worries and focused more in school. This didn’t mean that you started being a quiet person, never that, you still spoke up when things weren’t right and most people would call you obnoxious because of this but you didn’t care because there were still people willing to be friends with you.
You still practiced at the Sano dojo after school and that was actually the place where you met Mikey and Baji, both whom would always win against you, yet they came to respect your spirit because you never backed down from challenging them daily, even when the outcome of the combats would always be the same you still tried to put yourself on their level, taking well every kick thrown your way and with the amount of practice that got you, slowly but surely you grew familiar enough with their style and started lasting more.
Yes, you’d be defeated every time you went against any of them but at least you could say that you were able to withstand more than a second; which is more than what most would say, yet you were well aware that they never attacked you with their full force; it was painfully obvious that even Baji held back a little; they would mostly take a defensive stance and they’d rather knock you down than strike against you.
There was no doubt in your mind that if they wanted to put you down they could do so in the blink of an eye and while that frustrated you, it also served as motivation for you to try harder on your training.
Soon after meeting them, you found yourself developing a strong bond with them to the point in which you considered them to be your best friends in the world, well, after Emma who was always there for you whenever the other two seemed to move too far ahead for you to follow; like when Toman was formed.
It wasn’t just friendship, well, not regarding Baji. At some point you developed feelings that strayed from the brotherly love you felt for Mikey and fell hard for the black-haired boy.
Your senses were on high alert whenever you went up against him and it was more than your fight instincts. It definitely felt different, from the lingering tingle wherever skin met skin to the tremors would crawl up your spine whenever you felt his presence behind you, the burning behind your cheeks whenever you’d make eye contact or the way your throat would suddenly grow dry in response to you getting a glimpse of his canines whenever he’d smile.
Of course it never crossed your mind the possibility that he could feel the same way about you yet you were proved wrong one afternoon when you found him after cram school, resting against his bike waiting to take you home.
It started to rain on the way to your house but you didn’t care about it at the moment, the only thing that mattered to you was the fact that you were hugging Keisuke from behind, face pressed against the nape of his neck, inhaling his scent until it was the only thing your nose could register as it got mixed with the smell of the rain in a way that put you at ease.
By the moment you arrived home, both of you were soaked to the bone yet you still felt the warmth from his presence; a fire ignited by him burning in the depth of your chest where your heart was. Then after a moment of staring in silence at his face, the rain got heavier reminding you of the state in which you were and invited him to get inside to dry himself.
You got inside and after once you realized that your parents weren’t home, you ventured into their closet, searching for something that you could lend him while his clothes dried down. You found something and went back. He went to get changed to the bathroom while you hurried up inside your room and changed into a much more comfortable and; more importantly; dry set of clothes.
When you got out, you found him in the living room, staring intently at a picture that showed you around the age at which you started going to the Sano dojo; the same time at which you met him. His hair dripping down his back and the towel you gave him resting without purpose on his shoulder.
“What are you doing? You’re gonna get sick” you fussed over him and walked the remaining distance between you, reached for the towel and without warning started drying his hair.
That was until a rough hand stopped you by wrapping itself around your wrist to tug and then with his other hand he took off the towel, allowing for you to stare directly at his eyes and notice just how small the space between your faces was.
Your throat felt dry, the beating of your heart quickening deafened your ears and you couldn’t prevent your eyes from wandering down and lingering in his mouth.
“I like you y/n” he declared without a trace of doubt, simply, the way someone would point out that the grass was green, his eyes telling you how serious he was about what he just said in the way in which they didn’t budge and instead grew more intense than usual.
You choked on your words, unable to come up with a response beyond nodding like an idiot and smiling from ear to ear until your cheeks started to hurt but it didn’t matter because he felt the same as you and he had just confessed.
He lowered your hand, his free hand going to rest on the side of your neck, pulling you closer but slowly enough for you to pull away shall you decide against him at the last second yet you allowed him to guide you to his mouth and caught a glimpse of his distinctive smile right before he connected your lips with a bit of clumsiness; the feeling far too foreign for both of you yet so familiar at the same time.
After a moment of awkwardly brushing your lips against each other, curiosity shining through from both of you in the act, but the moment came in which you had to pull apart in order to let air back into your exhausted lungs but he pulled you again by the back of your neck to bring your foreheads together.
“From now on you’re my girl” he smirked and you simply blushed but nodded all the same.

Height Gap Modern AU LawZo part one
It's more like a detailed summary. Not a full on fic. Sorry. I dunno how to write. Lol.
Law is slowly recovering from a previously incurable disease, but it leaves him shorter, weaker, and scrawnier than the average kid his age. He's 17, and while Law is a brilliant kid, Corazon is worried his sick, adopted child will be bullied in college when he's not there to intimidate the assholes.
Corazon begs Law to join a local dojo, and Law, despite being an angry, angsty teenager that hates everyone, joins because he loves and respects Corazon too much and knows that it'll ease the older man's worries.
Of course, the overprotective older man alerts the dojo master and teacher of Law's disease, which said man proceeded to politely explain to everyone else in Law's combined classes and leads for everyone to treat him like glass.
Exactly like Law expected would happen. Except for the crazy green haired kid.
Roronoa Zoro, the dojo teacher's son, who was 12 years old, a boy far taller than all his other peers due to an early growth spurt, who was the same height as Law, and who literally beat Law down to the ground without any mercy. Heckling and taunting very much included with each of their practice spars.
And of course, Law is livid. First of all, what the fuck were they feeding kids nowadays to be so fucking tall? Second of all, a fucking 12 year old was HANDING HIS ASS to him, illness be damned, and the idiotic comments the child made only made him wanna win even more.
("What? You're older than me? Why are you so weak and short then? We're the same height!"
"You're sick? Maybe you should sleep more then. It looks like you don't sleep enough. Kuina and dad said that sleep helps you grow taller, you know?" Yes Law does fucking know that, a fuck you very much, stupid child.
"You're only gonna eat that little? That's why you're so small!" Seriously, Law was going to commit murder over the comments of a dumbass.
"When you get better, you gotta train lots, cause that'll make it so you can't get sick again." No, it doesn't, you dumbass.)
And Law kind of gets serious. Something he hasn't really felt like doing for YEARS due to his illness, because he always felt like things wouldn't change until he beat it. School was always easy, but training and working out? Not so much.
But Law DOES. He fucking researches the best way to gain muscle, how to build up power and speed and deal with his lower than normal stamina, because Law was a damn nerd, and follows his regimen seriously despite the coddling lessons he was receiving at the dojo. He starts eating more due to his increased activity, started sleeping more cause he was exhausted from his exercises, started working harder on just about all his lessons.
All so he could beat up an arrogant idiot of a 12 year old.
Of course, all good things come to an end. 6 months into lessons, Law's illness flares up in the middle of a practice spar between him and Zoro. He's suddenly unable to breathe, shinai clattering to the ground as he drops like a rock. His muscles are spasming and everything is suddenly heavy and painful and sucks.
His surroundings are just as chaotic as his flare up. The adults are running around, shouting for a doctor or calling for an ambulance, the kids are all trying to gather around him, trying to help him up or support him or whatever, and the adults are trying to prevent them to do so. And Law feels WEAK. Weak and hopeless and mad at himself for thinking that him working out or doing any of the shit he's been doing for 6 months would've changed ANYTHING.
He doesn't know how long his flare happens, but he's covered in a cold sweat and shivering and gasping for air and when he looks up, Zoro has his hand out, eyes firm and calm.
"We haven't finished sparring, yet." Zoro says to him. And everyone around them hears that, starts yelling at the green haired idiot because why would a sick person that's not feeling well want to keep sparring or fighting AT ALL?
And Law's staring at him, trying to see the pity or the stupid sympathy or the coddling and stupid worry that he always got whenever he had a flare up, whenever he feels he's lost control of his body and can't do anything to fight it.
Except there is none.
There is simply a calm acceptance, a simple wait for an answer to his simple question. And Law takes Zoro's hand, which infuriatingly enough, is larger than his own, feels sturdier and stronger than his, but it was also WARM.
"Yeah. We haven't yet." Law gasps out in reply. And he simply picks up his shinai with clammy hands after receiving help up and readies up. And Zoro does, too. But everyone around him is shouting at him, at Zoro.
"Wait, no. Law, stop. You're not feeling well! Go lie down and take a break."
"Zoro, stop inciting a fight! He's sick and he needs to rest! What are you even doing?"
And Zoro, voice firm and clear, eyes dead set and focused on his opponent, on him, simply says
"Law isn't weak." And then proceeds to wipe the floor with Law.
It's later, when Law is sprawled out on the tatami mats, gasping and a little bruised that Zoro comes over with a plate of riceballs and water. There's a blush on Zoro's face, maybe something akin to worry, but not the pitying kind he got from strangers.
He passes the things over to Law and sprawls out next to him, but he doesn't say anything for a bit. It's only when Law realizes he WAS kind of hungry and thirsty and gets up, with a bit of struggle, to eat that Zoro starts talking.
"I don't regret winning." And Law kind of glares at him through a mouthful of riceball, and ignores him. Zoro doesn't seem to care, and keeps talking.
"Everyone keeps telling me you're sick and that I should be going easy on you." And Zoro looks at Law then, with the most mature expression he's ever seen the kid have outside of a spar. "Is that what you want?"
"No." Law eventually grunts out. "I don't want you using that as a stupid excuse when I wipe the floor with you."
Zoro, right then and there, gives him the biggest smile in the world, one that Law finds is not as irritating as he normally feels it is.
"Yeah," Zoro says, laughing. "Of course not. Not that you'd ever win against me anyways!"
Of course, Zoro, being the annoying fuck that he truly is, knew how to piss Law off as always, and he finds himself in a childish squabble of words against the younger boy, who's much more creative with insults and taunts than a 12 year old fucking should be.
Later, when Law is leaving, he stops for a second, looks over at Zoro, who always stays with the stragglers that leave the dojo last and watches over them.
"Did you mean it?" Law asks. Because he couldn't help but wonder if what Zoro had said earlier was something the ridiculously strong boy meant. And at first, Zoro looks at him kind of confused, and just when Law starts feeling embarrassed, because he's actually caring about what a 12 year old thought about him, Zoro gives him a serious look.
"I don't think you're weak." Zoro says, sounding almost careful, as if trying to find the right words to say. "Cause, even though everyone says you're sick and stuff, your sickness... it's not the only thing you are. It doesnt... it doesn't define who you are."
There was something about those words that seemed to hit Law in a strange place, seemed to make him feel lighter, his chest and stomach fluttering, because he had only ever known people that saw him simply as an unfortunate sick teen. And maybe it was a little endearing seeing the normally unrestrained boy acting so careful for once.
Maybe because the younger boy felt embarrassed because Law hasn't said anything back, just standing there awkwardly staring at him, but Zoro flashes him an arrogant smile, despite the slight blush in his face and of course, says
"You're not stronger than me though." And the floaty feeling is gone and Law is scowling at him as Zoro laughs at his reaction before telling to head home so Law could stop taking up space at the entrance ("Look, I know you're small, but you're still big enough to block the entrance. Go home, unless you need Mr. Rosinante to come pick you up...?" Insert haughty smirk that Law wants to smack off his face.)
Law's opinion of Zoro changes after that. He notices things about the younger boy more, like how he fights with all the girls equally, how he loses to Kuina, his older sister, but endures the heckling and taunting from the other boys ("Haha, Zoro lost to a girl!") without excuses or complaints, simply the evident frustration of "I'm not strong enough, yet." whispered into open air and written onto his face. How Zoro silently watches out for the less talkative ones within the group, correcting form and stopping others from harassing them, how he plays along with the younger people of the groups, acting surprised by their display of "skill" or giving out compliments like candy to the excitable ones and awful words of consolation to the losing spar partners. He takes their complaints and listens quietly to all the mundane problems everyone had("Sarah rejected me!" "I failed my math test today and my mom's gonna kill me!") And Zoro trains. A lot. Law finds he liked Zoro the best when the younger boy is quietly working hard, eyes blazing with a determination that Law may never quite understand, or when the boy spars, his calm and composed self completely different from the normally arrogant boy's unrestrained personality.
Law also gets stronger. He's starting to grow taller, as he now has half an inch over Zoro, ("That's only cause you're older." Zoro grumbles when Law points it out with a smug expression on his face. "And what are you so proud of being taller than a 13 year old for, huh?!") He also becomes more skilled. Maybe Zoro's dad had noticed it too, because his lessons became more serious, more varied. He learns beyond the simple Kendo swings, given lessons on hand-to-hand combat, and given a larger pool of people to spar against, all boys his age, most taller than him. He wins against all of them except for the one he's yet to win against, Zoro.
Zoro seems to notice his remarkable improvements, too, as he seems more eager to spar with him, the fire in his eyes burning similar to the way it did whenever the boy challenged his sister. This goes on and on, and before he knew it, Law is a senior in high school, a full ride to a prestigious university is placed on his lap and he accepts it without hesitation.
He doesn't think to bring it up with Zoro until the last day of his lessons because he figured the boy has seen plenty of others come and go just as he was going to. Except, on his last day of lessons, when Koshiro lets the class know of his permanent departure from the place, it is Zoro that suddenly tackles Law to the ground. The boy is latched on to him, angry words spilling out of his lips, as eyes reddened and watered until tears spilled from the boy's eyes like a neverending stream.
("Why didn't you say anything?" And "Why are you leaving?" And "We haven't finished our spars, yet!" And "Was our battles not worth it?" And"I thought we were friends!" And "Was our friendship a stupid joke to you this entire time?")
And for the first time, he sees the boy throwing perhaps the biggest and childish tantrum Law has never seen from Zoro. Zoro, who never cried, never threw a fit when things were unfair, when he was wronged or told he was doing something wrong. When others were yelling angrily at him, hurling insults or making fun of him, or treating him unjustly, Zoro was always calm and almost completely indifferent. ("Why do I need to say anything when I can just show them who's wrong in a spar?")
Yet, Zoro was crying, because of Law.
In the end, Zoro is dragged and pulled off of Law while he's still stunned and unsure of how to deal with the crying, younger boy. He doesn't see Zoro for the rest of his last lesson, and they end up parting ways without Law able to speak with the boy again. He leaves for university, never forgetting the look of tears streaming down Zoro's reddened face, expression twisted into into one of anguish and betrayal.
Years later, Law becomes the first person to completely recover from his disease and gets a dramatic growth spurt. He breezed through undergrad and medical school, skipping grades like it was hopscotch, and he's well on his way to being a full on practicing surgeon at 26.
Law is now a man that has become a source of envy for others, with dashing looks and a career path that's well developed. He's never stopped his work out regimen, perhaps out of habit, and maybe out of guilt from images of teary silver eyes glaring at him in his mind. And that's kept his body looking quite fit, as well as earning the admiration from many on his surprising strength.
He ends up making quite a few friends as well. Some were deadly loyal, supporting him as well as Corazon did, and perhaps being somewhat like a fanclub to him, while others were akin to a rival, which sparks memories of a green haired boy smirking arrogantly at him. It wasn't quite the same, though, his rivals. They were truly mean-spirited at times, which Law was more than willing to return, and others tried to take advantage of his weaknesses, to which Law, again, was more than willing to return the favor for. Not quite like the boy in a dojo so far away from here.
Some friends, like a certain, very young man wearing a strawhat, were certainly more pushy and demanding than others. He meets the man named Luffy after the idiot had apparently done some crazy stunt for a social media video and fell on his head. To ensure that Luffy was okay, his other friends and sworn brothers had brought him in to the hospital while Law was on duty for his residency and the man had, oddly enough, taken a liking to him. ("Dr. Tra... tral... Torao!" Excuse me, what the fuck did you just call me?)
The man ends up pestering him into friendship and months later, he gets invited to a party with Luffy and his friends and Law reluctantly goes, if only to make Strawhat-ya shut the fuck up and leave him alone. The bar was surprisingly bright, not as crowded as he expected it to be, and Luffy's friend group is more wild and insane than Law had expected or wanted them to be. Perhaps after the third time of Luffy trying to get him to eat bread (he fucking hates bread and how Luffy found out about this and now uses it to harass him is beyond his understanding.) And Law is about 5 seconds away from losing it and storming out when Luffy stops and calls out a name. A very familiar name.
"Zoro!" Luffy calls loudly and dragged out. And Law was certain he almost got whiplash from turning his head so quickly. "You finally made it! Did you get lost again?" Luffy says, prompting a wave of laughter from the group, but he's not quite paying attention to it. Instead, he's looking at the green haired man in shock because it was Zoro. His Zoro. And somehow, while Zoro was squawking out some disgruntled reply, Law finds himself standing up and walking over to him. He doesn't even realize it until he's standing close enough to realize, with some childish sort of glee, that he's half a head taller than Zoro.
With him standing so close, Zoro was bound to notice him, and there was a brief look of confusion that passed through mature eyes, eyes widened as recognition set in and Law smirks, leaning over the younger man teasingly.
"Wow, Zoro-ya, you're shorter than I remember. Are you eating enough?"
