Found some absolute gems while cleaning out my bookcase

People out here like, "You can't move when a dog is on your lap. Lol so relatable." And non-dog owners are like "haha yeah I guess that makes sense"

But they do not understand, the degree of commitment I have to the dog's comfort. If a dog is slightly leaning on me, I am not allowed to move a micro inch lest the revenge of the dog gods smite me from this very earth.

I've had my dog for 2 years never really scared of anything

My heart is breaking. I may have to rehome one of my dogs. My oldest dog, Rosie, has never been warm toward our newest dog, Lily. Today Rosie attacked Lily and bit her “ numerous” times. They were in the yard and i didn’t see what happened but when they got back to the house Rose was clearly the aggressor and Lily was bleeding from her rear left leg. Actually I smelled the blood before I saw it. Blood on black fur just looks shiny. Of course she was over-excited and wouldn’t let me examine her but I could see a couple of clear tooth marks. So off to the vet goes the pup and the husband. $1349.64 later and Lily has to stay overnight on IV.

The way my house is set up there’s no conceivable way to keep them separated. I hate muzzles. I don’t know what to do. I miss my girl and hate to think of her in the hospital.

Did I mention that I don’t know what to do?

There are a couple of groups in my state that network rescue Rottweilers but that makes me so sad. I hate that idea.

Are you a good and responsible person who loves dogs? Do you need a 10-month old female Rottweiler? We don’t have her papers but we could get them.

I don’t know what to do.
