Zed Blanco: 

He would go to incredibly odd lengths to impress you, even when he should probably consider stopping himself (he might cause a new plague, in your honor!) but he’s nothing if not extremely dedicated to proving he’s a perfect match for you. He’ll have invested at least some time into finding out your interests, and it’s all the better if they align with his so he can at least know what he’s talking about when he’s trying to impress you. 

He can be incredibly protective over you, and often puts your own safety before his. When Fyrestone was being taken over, even though he was too stubborn to move he had you shipped out to be protected by Roland immediately, not minding if he died but knowing he’d be devastated if something happened to you. His change of heart is also because he realizes he’d rather be with you than in his hometown without you, although the Hyperion robot attempting to murder him made that lesson come quickly.
