Here are the basic rules and info:

I do not have definite days for any of this yet. However, I'm aiming to be ready in 2-3 weeks.

Any number of characters are allowed to join, but you will only be able to rp 1 at a time (with exceptions if you have a good reason, like how Raina and Lance used to be one person). There will be checkpoints where people may switch to different characters between sections

Ik I said you can have as many characters as you want, but please ensure you'll actually use them. I'll try and make this long enough for everyone to use their characters at least once, but really there's no guarantee. Don't just add characters because you can.

I may do what Elsie did and split the quest into two parties. In that case, you can have one active character in each party. This is unlikely, but if it happens then that's how this will go.

THERE WILL BE NO CHARACTER DEATHS EXCEPT FOR THOSE THAT ARE DISCUSSED WITH ME BEFORE HAND. Any other "deaths" (losing all HP) will just be knocked out and unable to use for the rest of the quest unless revived. This also goes for permanent injuries.

No abstraction. None. Characters can get close, but there won't be any full abstraction.

No OP moves (that should be a given).

No Kingdom characters will be allowed to participate in the quest. They are part of the objective, not the fights. Even against Hexe, no CURRENT kingdom members will be able/allowed to fight

Just so yall know what to expect. There'll probably be 4 sections, maybe just 3. There'll be a boss for each, and the very final section will just be Hexe. Plan accordingly.

First and Foremost: THIS IS NOT AN RP BLOG. This is a fictionkin blog! Please be aware of that and be respectful. I'm happy to be kind to those with good-faith questions (even the "dumb" ones) but please be kind in turn.

This is a sideblog of mine that I made to talk about my fictionkinity alone, so I'll only be going by the name Alhaitham on this blog. I use he/it pronouns, and I'm 21. I'm auDHD, so please be aware of that. I don't plan to mention my other kintype here much, but my only other kintype is an oceanic dragon. (if you want my other blog bc you're a similar kintype or smth, feel free to DM me. I'm not keeping this blog hidden perse, just separate.)

I am Alhaitham. I am also a Seelie. These kintypes are not separated, to be clear; in my canon I was a Seelie descendant, which in my case made a full-blooded Seelie. I'm very far from Genshin's canon, in many ways. I plan to use this blog as a place to talk about my experiences as a fictionkin, from the beginning. I've only known this part of myself for a few days as of making this blog. Questions aren't just accepted but encouraged, send me as many asks as you'd like! This blog is for journaling about my fictionkinity and discovering this part of myself more, so I'm open to being asked things I may not even know yet about my identity. (Or, hell, whatever else you'd want to ask about.) "Doubles" (other Alhaitham fictionkin) can absolutely interact and I'd be happy to chat as long as you're kind.

My interests include: Writing, Genshin Impact (duh,) Sky COTL, reading, horror as a genre but I'm so picky about it that it's nearly impossible to navigate, witchcraft, arts and crafts type shit of various flavors (this does not mean I'm good at it,) Minecraft. DNI: I know DNI's are pointless, but this is more to let you know my stance on things than anything. Basic criteria, just have basic kindness and respect and I don't have a problem. The only thing I think outside of that is that antishippers/anti's, while I don't hate them, would probably hate me since I think that I'm technically proship. That doesn't mean don't interact, just don't harass me. Honestly I'm still not clear on what the whole debate is I've just been told that I count as proship because of my views on fandom etiquette. One important thing to remember, though, is that I do traditional art, not digital. I've tried swapping to digital a few times, but it's faster and easier for me to do it this way. The lighting on these example pieces aren't all great, but I will hold them to a higher standard - as in, they'll be clean, like the lighting of the rabbit characters' pages - since these aren't just personal projects and clarity matters a lot more in this context.

I can edit the photos to remove the white "background" of the page and alter the colors a little bit, but once the lineart is on, it's on, and there's no changing it without redoing the entire page. I have a light board, so it can be transferred fairly easily, but it will still take time. That's why it's the most expensive step.

i think what i like about the silver giovanni connection so much is how well it connects johto + kanto story wise. johto to me is still a very undeveloped and lowkey forgotten region unfortunately but silvers character is easily the shining part of the region. i also think it’s cool how he’s also connected to red (or leaf) due to the whole reason giovanni abandoning him being because of red/leaf’s defeat of team rocket, ultimately crushing his ego lol - just one big butterfly effect that i thoroughly enjoy :p and as stated in my post, i like despite how hard he tried not to be, silver was quite similar to his dad until the events of the the johto story. seeing his growth makes me so happy 🤧🤧🤧✨

Backstory~

I was coming back from holiday in Port U Gal (it was nice, other than the fact i burned to death a lot) and decided HEY! I DOWNLOADED THE LAST EPISODE OF XTALE TO WATCH ON THE PLANE! I SHOULD DO THAT!

Before this, I had slowly been dragging myself through xtale (adhd means i needed to spread it out). I liked it, other than the fact I had no idea what was going on 30% of the time. Anyway.

So I watched Xtale episode the last, and suddenly Sans was relevant despite only having about two speaking roles beforehand. And suddenly he and CharaFrisk were claiming to be besties. And suddenly FriskChara tried to make him kill them bc... it would force XGaster into reseting, weakening him (i think).

All of a sudden everyone's memories were back and they were about to kick XGaster's ass. WONDERFUL, thought me. THIS CUNT'S HAD IT COMING FOR TEN EPISODES. But then GUESS WHO SUDDENLY DEVELOPS MARY SUE SUPERPOWERS AND DESTROYS THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE, BECAUSE... I genuinely do not know.

Did he feel CharaFrisk betrayed him by overwriting him? Maybe, but I think their actions were justified. They didn't see any other way out and they genuinely thought sans would be willing to help bc theyre besties for some reason.

Did he feel for Gaster bc he raised him? Valid enough, but if that's the case why did Papyrus (who was also raised by XGaster), Mr Spare a Genocidal Maniac, join the Gaster torture?

And again, WHY WAS HE THAT OP? There is no explanation for where those powers came from and I think that it is ridiculous he destroyed everyone and everything with full control over his powers, and then had the gall to wail about it. Like dude. No one was forcing you to do that?? Jeez.

And then Ink, who somehow failed to notice the Ten Variations of Hell Gaster created despite multiversal watch being his LITERAL JOB, comes in like. Oh! Hi sans variant in a destroyed universe! You're invited to the main plotline now! ;D

Wow.

Nothing against Ink, but according to the poll runner server, Ink's inaction is kind of a thing that happens a lot in Underverse. Rip.

I've seen some really lovely fanart of Shaka/Mu, and I think I might enjoy it in a fanart/fanfiction way. That's why I've set him up as a singleship muse, nothing is ever set in stone so who knows if I'll ever change that about him.).

Aldebaran is practically a blank slate: sticks leggy out, who's going to give me a ship for him? I'm literally all ears, when it comes to ships for him.

I'd imagine that anything involving the golden saints with the bronze ones, due to the ages. And I think it's a good time as ever to say that: in order for me to do anything like that in a RPing format, the characters will have to be aged up first (likely in the context of a post-series events type of situation/plot). Everything must be discussed and agreed upon, between me and the other mun. No ifs and buts, I won't do anything romantic between them, during the series' events for my own comfort.

I don't want to start any form of a shitshow of a discourse. Because, I'm way too tired of this nonsensical discussion, that never ends.

I'm just genuinely sick and tired of Tumblr RPC's competitive nonsense, where they think that they have to pitch one against another and try to shame RPers who have a different approach/interest to RP. No Karen, we aren't doing a full on essay through rp on tumblr dot com. You're not handing your shit ship to be analyzed, in a professional way.

All ships have the potential to serve as food for character development, but that has to come from the muns' wishes to do that to begin with. Otherwise, you're just forcing an elitist and snobbish way to RP, that's just unhealthy and nobody wins in the end. I personally take a lot of enjoyment of grabbing my main ship partners, and truly get DEEP into things on our discussions and worldbuilding.

And at the same time, I've had some good times with folks, who only wanted to do a simpler/easier to digest stuff and not think too much about the HCs/implications/etc. Does that suddenly make me into a lesser RPer? I highly doubt it.

Angelette is not a self insert, nor is she 'a little bit of everyone for funsies!! :))' She is her own unique character, that has reasons behind her design, reasons for her actions, there's a reason she does acrobatics, but her deep lore is something to be unlocked and discovered. I have thought things out, do not assume she is a thoughtless character I rushed to get in on the hype of the show. There is something of a story to be told here.

Don't always try to fix a conflict immediately? Especially if this is a common theme of the blog. My characters have flaws, sometimes they have physical issues. It wouldn't be fun or interesting if I took that away from them. I like tension sometimes, so don't take away a threat or conflict within the first three replies if you can help it!

You never know what you're going to get with me. You may get a multipara starter/reply, you may get a few sentences. I don't expect you to match my length, especially if I've written a behemoth of a starter... but I do ask that you try to match my effort. If I'm writing a huge reply and you respond with something that doesn't match the setting or context, (and do this consistently,) I'm more than likely doing to drop threads, and if this keeps happening, I'll just soft block you. Yes I do this for fun, but I put abouts and rules and everything you need to know for a reason, and if you can't be bothered to put in the effort to read it, or properly read my responses, then don't even bother.
