Morning crew hg au was supposed to fully center morning crew and it does for the actual story, but now Ive thought of cellbits backstory and why he blames tazercraft so strongly for what happened.
His game was an literal play on “hunger” games and there were no edible plants in the arena so everyone had to hunt for food. Which was designed by Tazercraft but they actually had no control after that since the Feds went full advertisement on them. They were touring instead, because of this other gamemakers decided to add less creatures to hunt. Designed to make the players more desperate and focus on hunting each other. Problem being if there is no food to eat and its a killing game…people get a bit hungry.
#Bad was also cellbits mentor they are both district 1#he convinced him that there was no morality in the games so he had to do whatever it takes to survive#cannibalism tw#Yeah he met Pac at the after party and brought him to the backroom got a bit hungry…..#Which also made Mike incredibly stressed about leaving Pac alone in rooms with a lot people#morning crew hg au#If tazercraft was in charge they’d make all the animals horribe mututations that would have tried to kill the tributes#But to surive the tributes would have to fight them to get food

#it’s not bad if u just do an hour or two#but i keep racking up extra random expenses and having to doordash longer to make up for it😭#they’re charging me ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY DOLLARS to get fingerprinted in a new district for tutoring#which like. i Have to do it bc i would get a pay bump and get to start tutoring earlier than i usually do#but it takes 2 weeks to get reimbursed and my rent is due next week#SO MUCH GAS MONEY😭#sigh

Finally did that third Signpost Uncommon cycle
#custom cards#custom cards 2#not sure Plunder is the best name for that keyword#but it's fitting enough that it makes for a good placeholder#No One Left Behind would probably be better design wise if it had chainweaving instead of that 2 or more Rebels thing#but it's much more flavorful this way#I also had to Google if Swordwise is even a word#and the only result was the Magic card “Swordwise Centaur”#which is good enough for me#I even remember owning that card#I considered making Swordwise Apostate a 2 mana 3/2 as a reference to that#would've taken away vigilance if I'd done that#but I think I like it better this way#also unsure about Church District Guard because Deathtouch and Vigilance is a rather good combo on such a cheap card#but I think it's fine when the deathtouch costs 3 life#Makeshift Pillory originally had a different flavor text that I deemed unfitting but still wanna use for a future card 'cause I like it#also I considered changing up the set themes altogether and add Energy Counters#but decided against it#it would've been nice for Black/Red both mechanically and flavor wise#but that's about the only good use it would've had#overall the flavor of that is taken care off by Blue/Green's charge counter theme#sadly those two archetypes don't have any color overlaps or I could've done some charge counter stuff in BR#I mean I still could#guess we'll see when I get there

has anybody else read roadside picnic? because i want to talk about the parallels between the story and belobog's quest, specifically cocolia and sampo, and redrick schuhart
it might take me a while to put together all my thoughts on it, but the main ideas i have right now are cocolia and the stellaron vs red and the wish machine, and sampo with his relic dealing and red being a stalker (like, the video game s.t.a.l.k.e.r. .... that's just what his job is called. it's relic hunting.)

mostly i'm cool with the american focus on protecting individual rights and liberties, but fuck I wish the judicial branch would just say "hey, I know we normally like to give people more rights and longer trials, but actually the rights of over 300 million people to make an informed decision about their next president outweigh your single individual rights to a lengthy due process, mr. trump!"

Fucking wild day at work today like what the fuck
#like it wasn’t all that wild until literally the last two minutes of my shift when I walked outside looking for one of the shift managers#because my GM was on a conference call and the other two shift managers that were there plus another one who had just like stopped by were#all nowhere to be seen#any fucking way….. I walked outside because I knew that the one that stopped by was out there talking to the one that opened this morning#and I walk out there like who is in charge right now and they were like idk and then I started to be like oh well I just needed some#questions answered about stuff before I leave (which I ended up saying fuck it and not asking or saying anything about those things)#but then!!!! (also keep in mind these two shift managers are my closest work friends and the one has been working with me since day 1 over 4#years ago and the other has been around for the past like 2.5 years probably?? but like we worked together every day pretty much)#anyway I say that about having questions and start to tell them and they’re like well it doesn’t matter#or it didn’t matter to the one or something like that BECAUSE SHE IUST GOT FUCKING FIRED#AND I SWESR TO GOd I WAS LIKE DID I HUST MISHEAR THAT WHAT THE FUCJ DO YOU MEAN YOU JUST GOT FIRED#FOR WHAT?!? what could she possibly have done?#and it’s some big long bullshit and I just can’t believe it#so I stood out there for another few minutes on the clock not paying any attention to wtf is going on in the store because literally what#the hell but eventually I was like I’m just gonna walk in and clock out#but we still didn’t know who was in charge and then like 3 of us were leaving but no one new had come in yet so I just had to interrupt the#GM on his call (with our district manager sitting beside him) to be like can I leave? and then I just clocked out and went and stood outside#for like 45 minutes with my friends talking about the absolutely bullshittiness of the entire situation#like I can’t believe it#and I’m sure that she can’t believe it either#it was literally out of nowhere#our GM didn’t even know about it until after she’d been fired like it came from higher up in corporate and I just…. I hate this for her#but at the same time and she said this too that she was comfortable here (same) and if she wasn’t fired she probably wouldn’t have quit for#a long long time and like… same here#but if the other shift manager that I’m friends with quits she better tell me first and we’ll put our two weeks in together#I’m not fucking staying when everyone I like working with is Gina#because days they’re not there o fucking hate it#we went from having a good core group of people every day to it just being the three of us and now it’s just the two of us#plus like another 3/4 people that I usually love working with#though one of them irritates me a lot too but she’s been there since the start for me too (and she’s also on the brink of quitting)

if I have been a little quiet this past week that is bc life is swinging a giant cartoon mallet at my head and cackling like the joker experiencing the adrenaline rush of batman driving the batmobile towards him at 120mph. thank you
#my parents went away on holiday and left me in charge of my siblings and the house#which is fine and has happened before and my siblings are basically adults anyway#but my cat got sick again and had to go to the vet to the tune of hundreds of £#turns out he has a skin condition caused by flea bites which idk how he keeps getting them he is an INDOOR cat#the amount of flea pills i have given him in the past 6 months cannot be good for his health#so ive been spraying the whole house down with flea killer and washing all the bedsheets and laundry on the hottest settings#and then this evening he trotted downstairs with two bald paws where he has LICKED THE FUR OFF and it is raw and bleeding in spots#idk wtf to do at this point#he had another seizure too so his meds need adjusting again#so im going to spend more £££ at the vet#to top it all off i have non refundable coach tickets to visit my dad tomorrow so i kind of have to go#fucking. 8 hour journey. kill me#so my sister is going to have to take my boy to the vet instead and im anxious abt that#my special little boy shouldnt have to go to the scary place without me :(#but anyway losing my mind at the emd of my tether have barely picked up my phone the past few days#like what am i doing wrong does my cat just want to die or does he hate me#one thing after a fucking nother#and i have to go into fucking CENTRAL london tomorrow id rather eat fibreglass insulation xx#at least i get to read while im on the district line my beloved <3#dogbunni diary log
