It's a perfect IP for a solo immersive land concept, it's a classic with interesting visuals and story and potential for being a all ages attractions

Tokyo was planning on doing this expansion but they cancelled i hope they pick it up again in the future they still have a plot of land for a expansion

Prime Minister Gabriel Attal is expected to give farmers new concessions in an attempt to calm down protests which have squeezed the French capital on Monday.

After protesting farmers blocked eight motorways leading to Paris on Monday, the French government is preparing more concessions to ease tensions.

The farmers have a list of complaints, including that working in agriculture has become too difficult and not lucrative enough.

France's new Prime Minister Gabriel Attal is set to give a speech in France’s lower house of parliament Tuesday, laying out his government's priorities and offering new aid measures to the agricultural sector.

It would be a new test for Attal, now in the first month of his new job, after the pro-agriculture measures he announced last week were deemed insufficient by the farmers. The 34-year-old prime minister has promised more aid measures.

On Monday, protesting farmers encircled Paris with traffic-snarling barricades, using hundreds of lumbering tractors and piles of hay bales to block highways leading into the French capital in a bid to pressure the government over the future of their industry, which has been shaken by the fallout from the war in Ukraine.

A protest that, for the time being, has no end in sight.

"There is total determination," said Arnaud Rousseau, president of the main and powerful agricultural union, the FNSEA, who was received by Attal yesterday afternoon and announced that they were continuing to negotiate with the government.

In an interview on Europe 1 radio, Rousseau said that there needed to be a "change of course" by the government and "symbolic emergency measures". He explained that the impression he had got from the Prime Minister yesterday was that he was "ready to go further on all issues".

The farmers have managed to evade police attempts to stop them, as their declared aim is to block access to the Rungis food market, the largest in Europe, some fifteen kilometres from Paris.

Interior Minister Gérald Darmanin, who has mobilised 15,000 officers in response to the protests, has warned since the weekend that he will not allow this to happen.

However, Darmanin has asked the police not to intervene in the so-called 'siege' blockades of Paris or the rest of the country - where there are several dozen - unless there is a threat to property or people.

The blockade of major roads around Paris - which hosts the Summer Olympics in six months - and protests elsewhere in France promised another difficult week for new Prime Minister Gabriel Attal, who has been in office for less than a month.

Protesters said Attal's attempts at pro-agriculture measures last week fell short of their demands that food production be made more lucrative, easier and fairer.

Farmers responded on Monday by deploying convoys of tractors, trailers and even rumbling harvesters in what they called a "siege" of Paris to win more concessions. Some protesters came with supplies of food and water, and tents to stay at the barricades if the government didn't back down.

Transport authorities in the Paris region reported blockages on the A1 motorway north of the city's main international airport, the A4 near the Disneyland theme park east of the capital and other normally busy roads.

"Our aim isn't to inconvenience or ruin the lives of French people," Arnaud Rousseau, president of the influential FNSEA agricultural union, told RTL radio. "Our aim is to put pressure on the government to quickly find solutions to the crisis."

Farmers in neighbouring Belgium have also set up barricades to stop traffic on some major roads, including those leading to the capital, Brussels. Most of the protests are taking place in the French-speaking part of the country.

🎔 - What is the best thing that has happened to you this week?

That's a tie between Molly (my cat) getting a clean bill of health at her bi-annual checkup and reserving some more things for my honeymoon! Molly has now reached 'senior cat' age and it's recommended she get two physicals a year instead of just one. They also did her bloodwork and everything came back normal. Not that I thought anything was wrong, but she had accidents in her carrier both on the way and returning home from the vet, and shivered in fear the whole time she was in the examination room.

She forgave me later after about 8 cat treats and time on the heated blanket.

And for honeymoon things, my husband and I finally booked both of our afternoon teas in London and our hotel/park tickets for Disneyland Paris. We still have a lot of train transport to sort out, tickets to Versailles and some museums in Paris, and probably some other things I'm forgetting right now. But those afternoon tea reservations were going to be the hardest to get unless we did it as far in advance as we could.

♫ - Which one of your accomplishments do you feel the most proud of? 

Probably making it to six years at my job (the daily source of my stress, usually) and getting enough experience to qualify for some higher-level positions. And finally getting some health stuff sorted out, including keeping excess weight off for the first time, ever. I'm very thankful to have a doctor who takes my concerns seriously and is doing the tests and prescribing the meds I need to manage my health issues.

If I had to go back further than that, graduating from the university I attended. It is a notoriously difficult school, no matter what your major/concentration is. Some undergrads drop out, many of them seek therapy for the amount of pressure you're under. I'm still in awe that I managed to get my diploma sometimes.

↫ - What is the most impressive skill that you have? 

Gestures at this blog-

Probably sticking with this blog for four, almost five years. Beyond that, it was weightlifting for awhile (until my gym got too crowded and I had a trainer I really didn't get along with). My squat, deadlift, bench press, and snatch numbers were pretty impressive, especially for a woman. The aforementioned health issues allow me to put on muscle more easily than most (and fat, unfortunately. We're still working on that), so heavy weights and powerlifting are things I had some natural affinity for.

Also wearing sunscreen every day, if not a commitment to a full skincare routine. But you know my feelings on the importance of sunscreen. 😉

Bonjour à tous, it is 16c out there and feeling fresh but for me that is much better than the heat that we have had. One good thing about the “chaleur” is that it can produce some stunning “orages” (thunderstorms), like the one Thursday into Friday it seemed to go on for such a long time, with the sky lighting up wonderfully and the thunderclaps not too frightening.

It seems to have been a long week, I was up early to go to hospital on Monday. The taxi picked me up at 7am 😳 and we had to pick up another person so our journey took us on a road I had never been on. We went through villages and lovely countryside before arriving in the village which has the local attraction “Nigloland” a theme park which some say is better than Disneyland. It’s smaller, has less crowds and still plenty to entertain all ages.

I had two transfusions, the first was fine but the second made me really cold and I began trembling uncontrollably, guess the nurses have seen it all as they were not concerned by it. Then it was sleep time as I was to wake up at 4am (yes really) get dressed, have breakfast and be in a taxi by 5am! I was being taken to Paris to have the next stage of my treatment, unfortunately due to lack of “chunky” veins in my arms I was sent back to the hospital in Troyes to have a catheter fitted in my groin and the following day was a repeat of the previous one except with the catheter they were able to extract my cells for freezing. I will add that the journey time to Paris is about 2.5 hours one way! The second day I was in an ambulance, on a stretcher, facing the wrong direction which really did mess with my head! However it’s over and done with now, just have to prepare myself for 4 weeks in hospital from 30 August 😳.

I always think of Shildon in Co. Durham as my “hometown”, known as “the cradle of the railways”, I am interested in the history of this mode of transport, architecture is another interest so as you can imagine seeing the stunning railway stations in Paris, of which the above photo of the Gare de Lyon, is one. On the return journey on Wednesday, safely ensconced on my stretcher, I saw two huge columns with figures on top. Unable to take a photo 😡 I was keen to find out what they were. They were the Throne Tollgate on the Place de I’lle de la Réunion. As we drove further away from the columns, I looked up and in the far distance, between the columns was the Eiffel Tower, how I wished I could have “snapped” that picture!

Monique celebrated her birthday on Friday but unlike last year I was unable to visit her. However, she is coming to see me on Tuesday to help me get ready for my month “away”. I have been washing, cleaning, cooking, relaxing and reading. Trying my best to keep everyone “up to date” on what is happening. I had planned to cut the grass when I got home from hospital but I hadn’t factored in the catheter and the oncologist said definitely no mowing. Monique had said she would do it but I asked my neighbour who is only too happy to help me out.

Anie, messaged yesterday, asking if I would like some vine peaches, having had some from her before I was pleased to accept, she arrived with a little posy of flowers from her garden, two small courgettes and the vine peaches. She is coming back this afternoon to have tea and cake.

So now to the favourite part of this blog for “The Daddy”, it’s my music choices, the first one this week was a Eurovision winner for Luxembourg in 1972. The title was “Apres toi” sung by Vicky Leandros. If I remember rightly after she was announced the winner she sang the song in English (don’t quote me on that) it was released as “Come What May”.

The second song is from way back in 1967, gosh can I remember that far back, yes I can and I have loved this song since I first heard it, it’s “The Letter” by The Box Tops.

It’s a Bank Holiday on Monday in the UK and my gorgeous grandchildren are spending the weekend with “The Daddy”.

“The Trainee Solicitor” has been visiting relatives, reading, relaxing as well as working at home. I hear he has two terracotta planters exactly the same as two I have here. They will look good in the garden, maybe they have the hydrangeas in already 🤔.

Now I really must pack my case, and prepare the house for my absence.

My most recent obsession is The Ultimatum: France...I don't know how I forgot to mention it yesterday, except yes I do: I was deep in my feels. Just goes to show that sometimes my internal world doesn't always align with my outer world, and that's ok.

My internal world: healing and unveiling suppressed emotions. My external world: watching inconsequential reality tv.

With that said, I was learning so many fun phrases while watching my silly little show. My favorite was qui vivra verra which roughly translates to "who lives will see" and can be understood as the french equivalent of "time will tell." For anyone learning french I cannot recommend the show more, I do think reality tv is very conducive to language learning. Even if you're not learning french and just enjoy reality tv, this show is so messy and will definitely be an enjoyable watch if you enjoy reality tv.

After my very tipsy musings on life last night, I went to sleep and woke up very settled in focusing on myself and my happiness. Today, that meant not going to my literature class. I attended class online but I find it hard enough to pay attention as it is when I'm in person...nevertheless I got the main gist of the class.

Now, I could have stayed home all day, and truly, I almost did. However, I already did that yesterday with the protests and transport strikes so I decided to get ready and go out. I think that the universe could sense that I needed some motivation to leave my house as well and today, that came in the form of my friend asking me to go to a coworking cafe, but more on that later.

Even though it was well past noon before I left my house, I was glad I put on some makeup and a cute outfit. Yes, she didn't see the light of day for very long, but it helped me feel confident and happy as I walked about Paris so the effort was 100% worthwhile.

My first stop of the day was to CityPharma. Now, for those of you unaware about french pharmacies (like I was), I promise that once you are exposed it is all downhill from there. The one con is that it seems everyone loves CityPharma so I never really take any pictures when I'm in there because it feels so overwhelming. All that being said, anytime I have an excuse to go to CityPharma I'm smiling like a toddler with a balloon.

A visit to CityPharma was crucial today since I'm all out of body gel. I've been wanting to try Roger&Gallet, so that is just what I did. Another thing about CityPharma, there are consistently sales! Not only are the prices lower, but there's sales on top of them. I was able to get body gel discounted and I even found bar soaps with the same scent for 2 euros each!

I finished up at CityPharma as my friend finished up her class so I decided to walk over to the coworking cafe we were meeting at since it would take around the same time as her metro trip. The coworking cafe is called Nuage Café and it was fantastic!

Truth be told, I've seen a lot about coworking cafes, and I was extremely skeptical:

I haven't been doing enough school work to desire going to a coworking cafe

Well, let's just say I'm glad I got asked by a friend to go because I really don't think I would've due to the above reasons. Even though I didn't have a lot to do, I enjoyed getting two cups of coffee and some nuts to snack on while I started a book about art in Europe during the 19th century. The atmosphere was so fantastic: the decorations were so cute and there was a large array of seating to suit anyone's preferred environment. Though I didn't have a lot of work to do and was just reading, I enjoyed myself and saw myself going back.

My recent revelations have made it clear to me that I need to prioritize my happiness and wellbeing. I do believe that it's important to push ourselves and that we do, indeed, need to leave our comfort zones, but also that this shouldn't mean feeling burnt out. I've been reading a lot about how easy and common it is for people with ADHD specifically to feel burnt out, and for awhile, I normalized feeling burnt out because that meant functioning at a level that was more similar to being neurotypical. But hey, I'm not neurotypical, and there are other ways to manage my ADHD that does not involve exhausting myself.

Life can be so unpredictable and there are so many challenges ahead of us, but that doesn't mean it has to be scary. I've found myself wondering if I was really living if I'm constantly afraid of what comes next. In my case, I think the answer is no. You won't know what happens, and really, only time will tell. So I've decided to focus on being more present and trusting myself to get myself where I need to go. Yes, it is much harder than it sounds and no, is not the most realistic goal for everyone right now. But, it's a goal I came to after lots of reflection and patience.

So that's what I will leave you with. Go outside, journal, take a walk, meditate...sit with yourself and take stock of what makes you happiest and what might make you sad. Just remember, qui vivra verra.
