so yall might have guessed by my late night dishonored posting but i got into the games recently and now i have brainworms.
anyways heres some art featuring spymaster daud, post lobotomy Jindosh, Lamb (but make her void spicy) and low chaos ending Outsider.
also have some headcanons below the cut
Pose refs by Mellon-soup
Daud
After fighting him in the flooded district, Corvo makes a deal with Daud to serve as spymaster as a sort of community service to the empire he's partially responsible for kneecapping.
No one is happy about this, least of all Daud.
But as an important lesson to Emily, sometimes you have to put your feelings aside for the good of the Empire. People are tools and it's up to her to use them properly. Daud quickly proves he really is the best man for the job.
Daud is constantly cold, even in serkonos. He seems to think this is because he is void touched but Corvo is the opposite, he metabolises like a house on fire.
Since he's always cold he's taken to wearing a lot of layers. This has the added benefit of padding his falls or protecting him from sword slashes.
When he came to work at dunwall tower, most of the whalers followed suit, watching from the rooftops for dauds command to take the place over. Only the order never came and with nothing else to do the whalers decide to join up.
Daud has an incredible sweet tooth but after losing so many teeth to that corrupted bone charm he decided he couldn't afford to lose more to cavities.
In his limited free time from his duties Daud enjoys playing with the castles wolf hounds.
Kirin Jindosh
After his impromptu electro lobotomy he was dazed and very confused for months but did eventually regain some of his intelligence.
Despite that he still struggles with his short term memory, coordination, tinnitus and sleepwalking.
Kirin also lost the sight in one of his eyes due to the high voltage of the machine damaging the vitreous of his eye.
His hand wasnt damaged by the shock but he replaced the entire thing to help with his tremors.
He spends most of his time now in wei-gon researching the insects that live in the countries unique flora.
The Outsider
After being freed by Billie she quickly realises she's not up for being someone's responsible adult and promptly delivers him to dunwall tower.
Developed a strange sort of sibling relationship with Emily.
He spends most of his time travelling and drawing. Would probably attract sokalovs attention had he not already left for tyvia.
Despite being disconnected from the void, he still has powers similar to the marked that he can use for traversal.
The scars from his fatal wounds weren't present when he left the void but developed over time.
He spends a lot of time with jindosh, drawing and the rest of the time in Morley with Lamb.
The little bag he's carrying with the whale patch was a gift from her. It contains all his art supplies.
Lamb
Transplanted lamb from bg3 world so I could have a DH oc lmao
She's part of an au with @je-suis-problematique . She's sort of a void creature who deals with souls. She's mostly hanging around observing things and the changeable nature of the void in low chaos Vs high chaos
Got kicked out of the void around dh1 by the envisioned for trying to help the outsider.
Landed pretty much smack dab in the middle of the flooded district, kinda got taken in by Daud and the whalers for a few months (read as: they couldn't get rid of her and she made good food so she got to stay)
By dh2 she is running an apothecary, traveling between the isles to acquire herbs and plants.
If the Overseers ask her eyes are a " medical condition"
I don't feel like expanding on it BC this au only appeals to me and my frendo but lamb has influence from the Kindred so I'm designing a Wolf for her as we speak

Corvo Attano x GN!Waiter!reader headcanons
for anon!! It's my first time doing a headcanons sheet so I hope u dont mind being my test run lolol
------------------------------
The Hound's Pit pub is still as hole-in-the-wall as it used to be before the outbreak. before everything
Corvo likes to come here mostly to get away from every duty he has now, supporting Emily as a royal consult
He knows people here, people know him here enough not to question his day-to-day life.
Piero still comes by to check on Corvo, as do Cecilia and few others
(there will be time, there will be time before the end of the plague. before the hound's pit lies in ruins 14 years after the end of it all)
You've only worked at the pub for a few weeks. Everyone important to you, the plague has already taken. You just need some money to try and keep fighting. for your family's sake
Corvo only really starts to open up to you after you sit quietly near him behind the bar, making sure no one else was getting up to trouble, but mostly listening to Corvo talk about Emily.
You give him an empathetic smile as he wraps up his drinks for the night
For the first time, you manage to get what looks like a small smile in return as he leaves the pub.
"You know," Lydia says, coming over from bussing a table. "I've known Corvo quite a long time, and I think you're the first person to get a smile out of him since Queen Jessamine.
The swell in your chest could be pride, or perhaps a sympathetic sense of mourning. Either way, your resolve has been strengthened to make Corvo smile again.
If you're the only one that can, so be it

Corvo Attano Headcanons Part 1
I’ve fallen into the Dishonored rabbit hole and figured why not between prompts? And of course we start with the protagonist Corvo! If you have questions about the game please don’t hesitate to ask, I will do my best to explain.
1. Corvo’s father was a whaler but he wanted his son to be well rounded in skills and found someone to teach him swordplay and combat in general. It was why he was found and hired by Jessamine’s father as a guard, he was in a sword fighting tournament when he was 16.
2. Corvo didn’t just immediately start as Royal Protector, no he worked his way up the ranks of guard and also being a servant. He always treats fellow servants like they’re people, regardless of who they serve and even when he was working with the Loyalist’s. You never know what you might hear from people everyone else thinks are invisible and forgets that they’re everywhere in nobility’s lives.
3. Corvo has always sort of had this…intuition about things that he shouldn’t. Like when his mother woke him in the middle of the night with tears down her face when he was only 7 he already knew his father’s ship had sunk. Or when he lingered in Serkonos’ shallow waters that there was something older, something underneath the Isle he called home.
4. Corvo remembers that his mother sang lullabies to him, especially when he was sick, but didn’t understand at the time why she didn’t want him to mention them to his father. At least, he didn’t understand until he felt the searing cold on his left hand, until he heard the sound of the Bone Charms and Runes as the Void sang through them.
5. Corvo does not sleep well if he doesn’t feel safe unless he’s going to pass out from exhaustion, for a time he found safety in Dunwall Tower, then the Hound Pits Pub, but after certain events in both that safety isn’t there anymore. There’s a handful of places that he feels safe enough to sleep properly now. In the back of Samuel’s boat, in nooks and crannies on the rooftops of Dunwall, in a cot in Slackjaw’s office and at the shrines of the Outsider.

This is how I imagine dark vision looks on the other side.
In the first game, Corvo's mark glows an orange-yellow, and in the books, he describes the mark as a burning sensation. In Dishonored 2, Emily's mark glows blue, so I have a head cannon that it prickles on her skin like ice after she receives the mark. I like to think it is solidified by the fact that if you're in shadow form, people in the game comment on a chill in the air.
Idk I just thought it was cool.

since it’s annual dishonored brainrot period
you know Corvo either being mute from birth OR losing his tongue due to his torture period makes much more sense when Burrows confesses everything to Corvo
It becomes less stupid in way of ‘you’re gonna be executed tomorrow anyway it’s not like you’ll escape’ and more in a way of ‘you aren’t able to talk anyway, who you will tell?’
That way it starts to look like even more of a mockery from Burrows, spilling everything to a man who won’t be able to tell anyway not because he’ll be dead next morning, but because he literally can’t tell anyone
Like yes I know second game straight up denies such possibility with Corvo now being officially voiced, but before second game was even announced it was a solid (and still is honestly) head canon for me when I play Dishonored
There’s also something absolutely terrifying at meeting this masked man and he literally doesn’t answer anything you tell him

This is out of nowhere but I feel like Kaneki would read a book from a “booktok” section of a bookstore, absolutely hate it, download tiktok just long enough to post a 38 part series of ten minute videos about why it sucked shit, start a million fights, then delete the app leaving a deranged mess of discourse in his wake. He just had to get that out of his system and he is not aware that people are still having deathmatches in his comments a year later

Still in my Dishonored kick. Platinumed 1 AND 2 as of last night, now I'm working on doto, knife of dunwall and brigmore witches. Idk how I feel about the trials BC I've not even looked at them yet.
But anyways here's more art. Re uploading human!Outsider because his art was bugging me. Fixed his jawline, toned down his scars and desaturated the forget-me-not behind his ear BC it was distracting
Pose refs by Mellon-soup
Have more headcanons
More for The outsider
So @je-suis-problematique named him Rasmus and I decided to steal that BC it's a good name.
Since jindosh is losing his hearing, he's made an effort to learn sign language
I know he's cannonically 4000 years old but in my mind he's 17-19, physically at least.
Hella thin and constantly hungry. When he was murdered by the cultists it essentially preserved him in the last moment before he died, including any injuries or conditions like hunger ,thirst or exhaustion. It takes a long time for the feeling to wear off.
Billie brings him to dunwall for a few months to help him adjust to real life again. He spends most of his time sleeping, eating all of Emilys snacks and asking a miriad of questions to anyone who'll listen.
Billie Lurk
I haven't read veiled terror yet so I don't know what she's doing post dh2. In the au she's roving the isles looking for places where the void is opening up like a sinkhole and trying to prevent normal people falling in.
She did take a few months off to set up a lawn chair on a roof in Holger square so she had a front row seat to watch the abbey fall to bits.
Corvo occasionally popped in with popcorn and a spy glass for a better view.
When the void started leaking more and more into the real world billies arm and eye began to sort of stabelize. They still look odd but are definitely easier to disguise. Her eye can now be covered with a patch, although she can still see through it, and her arm resembles liquid gold as much as it does bone and stone.
Teague Martin
So don't ask how or why but this little bastard wormed his way into my top 3 DH characters. This drawing of him took me like 3 days BC I kept getting stuck on it but I'm happy with how he ended up.
Low chaos ending for him. Although I refuse to believe he didn't know his drink was poisoned, I'm fully convinced he drank it on purpose because he couldn't live with the guilt.
In this au he's been friendly with Lamb and Wolf for a fairly long time, since they normally live in Morley where teague is from.
He and Wolf have a friend's with benefits arrangement. They've been seeing each other since before jessamines murder.
During dh1 lamb and wolf relocate to dunwall, partly to deal with the influx of souls related to the rat plague, partly to be closer to teague and his terrible decisions.
He's fully aware that both lamb and wolf are void creatures, not to mention magic users but he justifies his relationship with them by adopting a lesser of 2 evils sort of mind set.
Despite being in his position for power alone, Martin really does what what's best for the empire
After his death, rather than wander the void for eternity he winds up working for them, collecting souls and ushering them to the void.
His tattoos where given to him by wolf, to allow him access to void powers. Wolf's particular gift, her equivalent of the outsiders mark is called 'fatal wound'. usually taking the form of a bite mark around the neck, allows access to extra powers.
Wolf painfully carved his scars herself to give him incredibly customised abilities.
His outfit is a modified overseer uniform, adapted for using movement abilities like blink. The scarf was a gift.
Wolf
Lamb and wolf have a sort of Kindred relationship. They are both void creatures, presumably knowing all the old gods who died before the outsider was created.
Where lamb is inspired by Inuit whaling culture, Wolf takes hers from west indies, 17th century whaling (think assassin's creed 4 style) . She has a more nautical pirate thing going on. Her original design had her eyes covered by a tritip hat rather than her fringe.
Wolf's ears are functional but she's not a werewolf or anything of the sort. Originally lamb had sheep ears but they were covered by her hair. She still has a lambs tail under her clothes though.
To cover her ears in public, she usually uses the silk ribbon on her waist as a bandana.
Although her eyes are always covered, they are the same void black as lambs.
She spends her free time creating bone charms. No one's sure what they do thought...
Originally Lamb and Wolf are from an island near pandyssia. The way they speak of it however makes it seem like the island no longer exists.
Like the kindred, where lamb goes wolf follows. She's never more than a few feet from lamb, even if you can't see her she can sure see you.
Everyone finds her relationship with teague Martin strange. Lamb often refers to him as " wolf's chew toy"
By the time of dh2 she can usually be found in the back room of Lambs apothecary, concocting potions and running the accounts.
I'm super proud of the way wolf turned out. I had no idea where I was going with her when I started, only that I wanted a visual foil to lamb. I think I'll draw them together and do more details about them and maybe their relationships with the other characters

considering the historical influences in the fashion of Dishonored (and the extent of nsfw fanfiction this fandom has) I’ve been thinking about the layers that would be, realistically, part of the daily dress
which means: dishonored seems to honour the importance of a vest in a properly dressed gentleman’s or lady’s wardrobe
vests were, and I cannot stress this enough, a mandatory part of an outfit, to the point of men wearing only vests if they could not afford a fully tailored suit (trousers + vest + jacket) and a new shirt and opting to only wear a fake collar under the vest for the illusion of a full outfit
shirts were underwear, so to speak. there were no occasions in ‘polite society‘ where one could only wear a shirt without a vest on top.
this is something we see mirrored in both dishonored games, though the style of the vests and clothing have somewhat changed, they still follow the same rules of vests worn with every outfit, as far as we can tell. (we could argue that Jessamine is not wearing one, or that some higher class women aren’t wearing vests under their buttoned up jackets, but since we don’t really see underneath we can’t judge.)
we see the vests be worn even by the Whalers in the first game (which in itself brings up many questions. are whalers, the actual whalers that capture and kill whales, held in high enough regard by the society that they made a vest part of their uniform? or is it merely something that is worn by all? something that every citizen of sound mind would don, were they to leave their house?)
there are a few exceptions to this, of course, but this whole thing came to be by asking a simple question
does the Outsider wear a vest under his leather jacket?
now, in the first game, his jacket is unbuttoned just enough for us to get a good enough peek at what lies beneath. which is to say: there is no hint of a vest underneath. judging by the vests in the first game, the fashion was that the vest would go up high, often covering collarbones or even having a standing collar. what we see on the Outsider is just... an unbuttoned shirt
it’s much the same in the second game, even if we examine his final concept art, his outfit consists of a shirt (more or less underwear) with most of the top buttons unbuttoned, and a jacket on top. no hint of a vest underneath
what I’m trying to say is that the Outsider is a slut

Corvo is a really good cook, Billie is okay but sticks for selected few dishes she likes, Daud can make something edible but would rather open a can of preserves, Delilah absolutely can cook but wouldn't ever do it for someone else, Emily and the Outsider will burn the kitchen trying to boil some eggs

My headcanon is that before the first game, Corvo had sustained an injury to his throat that badly damaged his vocal cords. He was completely unable to speak during the events of the first game, but 20 years later he's regained a lot of his voice. He can't shout or speak for very long, and if he has to speak at court he then has to rest it for a few days.
He still has some pretty bad scarring over his throat but his fancy new dad beard helps to cover a lot of it.
I am unable to let go of mute Corvo, you will have to pry him from my cold dead hands.

I like the idea of Corvo executing not physical but psychological torture on his targets
Like for example in Flooded District when Corvo escapes he doesn’t make himself known right away, it’s as if he really vanished. No one suspects anything (mostly expecting him still being around Flooded District ready to reach Daud as expected).
It’s tense, yes, but no one is murdered, choked out or disappeared.
Corvo is a master of observation and blending in. Corvo observes, listens, and changes his mask and behavior. Corvo played a perfect whaler. Corvo blended in with them perfectly, he wormed his way into their circle.
In span of a day Corvo played a perfect whaler, uncovering himself when they all least expected it, and while he’s not aggressive or violent, just standing here peacefully, almost relaxed, with absolutely tired face, they feel he’s dangerous. One wrong word or move and he’ll murder without second thoughts.
So all Corvo does is nicely asks for a key to get out of Flooded District, and pretty much for them to disappear from face of Dunwall, because next time to catches at least one of them at periphery of his eyes he’s personally hunting every single of them.
Corvo doesn’t want more bloodshed for this city his Empress loved, he doesn’t want it to be consumed by plague any more as it is, but he’s just a human, he’s tired, he’s so, so tired and angry and it takes all his willpower to stare in eyes of a murderer and not to become one himself.
Corvo takes the key from Daud’s hand, sends him one last tired warning stare and leaves to save his daughter and a crumbling empire. Corvo’s hands are completely clean unlike Daud’s, and it takes everything not to paint his into same red.
But that doesn’t mean he can’t torture people with their own minds.
