somehow my second time Canadian travel series managed to have a more hopeful ending than the first but only because the main character who erased the events of the entire series died instead of living out the rest of their life cut off from everyone they loved including their child.

That's wonderful that you want to hire animators for a reboot, but I am not affiliated with the official release, nor am I endorsed by it.

Any animator should be able to replicate the art style of Xiaolin Showdown. If they can't, then they're not a good fit for the project.

While XS has some unique qualities to the artwork, I think XC has more streamlined artwork in certain areas. In my opinion, as a huge fan, a marriage of both styles would be best for future projects.

So, there was a conversation on Twitter about loosing the passion for an actor when they aren’t “visible” anymore. And I’m sure that’s what’s happening with Amanda and the reason the fandom is hardly active anymore and getting people to do or participate in fandom projects (like this) is very difficult. Well, actually, the convo was about Amanda, specifically. I get that. Like, years ago there was always some new photo or some new interview or some new episode that got me into fangirl mode and made me gush about Amanda and now there’s... nothing. She hasn’t been in front of the camera for like 5 years now. She hardly does interviews anymore. Even I loose some of the passion in between conventions, even though she means so much to me because she’s helped me so much. ...and then a convention happens and I meet her again and I am again blown away and in awe of her personality and before the convention I feel like I can’t possibly love her more and then the convention happens and I do. I get that people who don’t see her at conventions regularly kinda “forget” about her. I get that her fandom has gotten small. I do miss the old active fandom times, though. I really hope that the series she’s working on ends up happening and that we can see her in front of the camera again.

i forget that people can actually see things in their minds bc aside from very very brief flashes of one specific image i think exclusively in text and have a hard time trying to visualize how things work together

#shay speaks #if i can see them with my eyes its less of an issue bc i can more mentally rotate shapes #but u could tell me to like. visualize a field and i will just describe what a field looks like with words instead #also i absolutely cannot think while i am doing things like singing or playing instruments #no thoughts head empty i am too busy singing #like in band our director was always like you have to mentally count while we do these tricky rhythms #if i tried that i would just not play or mess up even more #i just kind of clap it out once or twice or tap it out on my leg or smth #and then i'll have it down pretty quickly but i cannot absolutely cannot think while playing an instrument #too much stimuli trying to get the right notes out and keep up with the director's cues
