He’s a clone of Veloci who doesn’t know he’s a clone. He was made because Veloci realized that most of the perfect dinosaur sightings came from around Kittery Point high. Since Veloci is an old ass man and he has shit to do for his company in Boston nearly 24/7 he does the most logical thing and creates a teenage clone of himself with false memories of growing up to go the Kittery Point High and find out who the perfect dinosaurs are. Because that is a thing sane and reasonable people do. Val turns into a therizinosaurus instead of a raptor because it’s my favorite dinosaur Veloci isn’t stupid enough to pit a raptor in a 1 vs. 5 fight with dinosaurs twice their size at best, and the therizinosaurus is related to raptors closely enough for Veloci to pull some bio engineering bs to modify Val’s DNA.

idk i have this vague idea of like a steampunky dino-squad thing and its very un-fleshed out and it just kind of started with me messing around and coming up with Terry while drawing dinosaurs and stuff for my friend

I just think they're neat, I want a reader who's one of the villain's goons

Reader, a young 18-20 year old trying to pay bills, survive being aroace/queer in the early 2000s, and possibly having an illness or disability. RaptorDyne was one of the only places that would take them and that paid enough for their medicine and housing and food budget, so they accepted, even if their boss is weird and scary and is a LITERAL F*CKING DINOSAUR WHAT THE-?!?!?!

Back on my Dino Squad hyperfixation

It's great to see the fandom thriving on here. I was in the fandom on deviantart during my late teens, and had a mixed experience. There was a lot of fun making headcanons and roleplaying with people on there. Though, one person who wanted to reboot the show kinda ruined it for me. Then I recently rewatched the show with my boyfriend and he had a lot of fun with it. We spent hours making headcanons and even talking about the side characters.

Thanks to him, I'm back and quite excited. I really wanna do my re-imagining of the show fanfiction and I'm gonna just have fun with it since I'm a much better writer now. He's also gonna help me with it since we came up with some great ideas for the worldbuilding.

Now I'm excited to be a part of the fandom here especially as I see a lot of lgbt+ headcanons and pairings, something I was afraid to do because of backlash I had previously gotten on deviantart for wanting to make a transmasc oc. I can't wait to get to know you all. Here have some doodles I did of the squad and Veloci.

Next-> somehow the Rewrite version of Timoteo manages to establish contact with the Next universe and requests for Squad 4 to become Rewrite Tsunas bodyguards, being aged back when they cross universes and having to at least TRY to stay undercover, whacky hijinks included. Too bad that when Delfino I-can't-stand-my-damn-brother Superbia turns up and talks about how much she dislikes Squalo, Ava I-adore-and-obsess-over-my-brother Muramasa takes it a tad bit too personal and decides to start a fight. FORTUNATELY they still manage to bond so that Delfino adopts him as her younger brother, no questions asked.

I wanted to draw these two together for so long and now seeing all the OC-tober work including Delfino I just had to get it out of my system.

I've only watched a few episodes of Dino Squad so far and plan on watching more. But yes, already trying to think up ocs and I love the idea of them being based off that one toyline for Jurassic park that had all the neon colors and such. I think the particular toyline was called Chaos effect.

In any case, thinking of a artist/boxer named Iggy and she has a pachycephalosaurus dino form. And Chloe, a video blogger that has a prosthetic leg and dino form is a Quetzalcoatlus
