a Yonny x Dingo oneshot that i made at like 3 in the morning

(A/N: i've been just calling this "The 3AM Oneshot™". it doesn't even have a name.)

A pale glow was cast upon the trees. It was the beginning of the morning, and the whole day was ahead of Dingo. He never was a morning person, and was probably never going to be. He was alone. Just him, and his thoughts. He slowly got up, letting the sun warm his body. It felt like a warm hug, slowly eveloping him. It almost felt like someone was actually touching him….

Because there was.

He recoiled, ready to strike down whoever touched him, but slightly hesitated. It was Yonny. “Oi!”, he snarled. “Never scare me like that again. What are you doing here anyways?” “Oh, nothin,” Yonny said with a toothy grin. “Just checkin in on ya.” The two of them slowly locked eyes, and a thin smile formed onto Dingo’s face. “So,” Yonny said, “Wanna grab some ice cream? I know a new place down the street. We could grab some if you want….” Dingo dwelled on it for a while. The idea seemed nice, but he did have plans to go somewhere later on in the day… He shrugged. “Sure. Got nothin else to do.” Those plans could wait for a little while, at least until he could get Yonny off his tail. Even if he couldn’t shake him today, it wasn’t like he had to do anything important anytime soon. Yonny grabbed Dingo’s hand, and in that moment, it felt like it was only the two of them. Time seemed to come to a standstill. But they had somewhere to go. Dingo snickered, happy that even through everything that the two of them had been through, they were still friends, maybe even something more. Yonny beckoned, “Well then, what are we waiting for?! Come on! Right this way.”

They had made it to the ice cream parlor. It was a relatively short walk, maybe one or two blocks down from where they were previously. The two of them walked into the parlor, hand in hand. The building was sparsely decorated, and the air smelled almost sickly sweet. The walls were painted a pale shade of gray, with a stripe going around the room that was supposed to resemble the rainbow. The floor somewhat followed suit, being black with a rainbow stripe along the middle of the floor. The combination of the wall, the smell, and the sound of people talking didn’t help the fact that Dingo had a slight headache. One person finished their order, then another, then another. Then just like that, it was their time to order. “Hiiiiii!”, the cashier beckoned. “How may I help you two?” Dingo scowled. This place felt unnatural, plasticky in a way, and the cashier and her massive grin wasn’t helping at all. Of course out of all the ice cream shops in Ohiri, Yonny had to pick this one to go to. “Uh,”Yonny whispered to Dingo, “What do you want?” “Vanilla ice cream sounds good,” Dingo hastily replied. Yonny gave him a look that signified that he understood, and turned to the cashier. “One mint chip cone and one vanilla cone, please!” “Alriiiight, that’ll be 20 Pokos!”, the cashier said, flashing them both another grin. Dingo slowly fumbled for his wallet, but Yonny made him stop. “Don’t sweat it,” Yonny said. “I’m paying for both of us.” “Good,” Dingo replied with a slight chuckle. “Cus’ I’m running low on cash to begin with.”

Louie: somewhere on the ace spectrum(grey ace probably) but he does like men, uses he/they/it

Alph: gay trans man

Brittany: bisexual who leans VERY heavily into women

Charlie: bi

Lisa/Pom: nonbinary sapphic, uses they/she.

Collin: either gay or achillean(I hc he’s married and has a husband back on Giya)

Shepherd: lesbian(sorry not sorry Dingo)

Russ: pan

Dingo: thinks he’s straight but he’s actually bi

Yonny: transmasc(he did his own top surgery) and is probably somewhere under the nonbinary umbrella. Also no one can quite figure out his sexuality, uses any pronouns.

Bernard: gay(he and Santi are the most on and off pair there is)
