The pub was not as busy as last time, and in any case, Pink, Blue, Black and Purple were there in good time for food.  Once they had finished, they managed to squeeze in a quick game of Rome in a Day while they were waiting for food and eating.  This is a cute little tile-laying game a bit like Kingdomino with the “I cut, you choose” mechanism to allocate the tiles.  The “I cut, you choose”…

a needed update:

i would have updated on saturday but life decided to throw one last curveball at me :'). that said, i apologize for my sudden silence but life comes first

on tuesday my father suffered not one but two major heart attacks, and we nearly lost him in the er. on top of that he had 100% blockage to his heart; no oxygen to it, nor could it pump blood. it has been immensely hard to deal with, cope and what else. he's thankfully doing much better now but the scare is still there and always a concern now.

he was meant to come home on saturday morning, but life decided to be cruel one last time. around 5am lightning struck a tree near my house, causing it fall. it took down the power and cable lines to my house and .......... struck and crushed my dad's car. definitely an unneeded stress for me and my mother + my dad. i didn't get power back to roughly early afternoon yesterday.

please give me some patience as i slowly try to get back into the swing of things. now that he's home i'll likely have to act somewhat as a caregiver for a bit to him as he's unable to do much due to dr's orders.

los pasillos le brindan una sensación cálida, como de un sueño que nunca vivió. lleva ambas manos a unos tirantes invisibles, como si pudiera imaginar así su propio estetoscopio. uno con el grabado familiar que le esperó hasta que cumpliera con el recibir su título. mas vida habíase cerrado muchos años atrás y aquel objeto quedaba relegado a ser absolutamente una pieza decorativa. extiende el brazo para acerca a brianna, lo mejor sería no llamar la atención de los demás, y claramente siendo brianna extranjera sería muy llamativa. “deberíamos ir por más vitae” le dice mirándola unos segundos. estaba un tanto obnubilada por el espacio “no tiene buena recepción este hospital” ni muchos en japón. “hay una salida por allá ¿puedes tomar aquel folleto?” le pregunta señalando uno sobre el mostrador.

One of the challengers was pretty awful today.

Poppy was sent to the ER due to getting burned by the last challenger's Skeledirge fireing a Flamethrower at her and not her Corviknight. Thankfully she wasn't hurt beyond repair, but Poppy had remembered sobbing as the leather of her gloves practically melded to her skin. Her right hand escaped the worst of it, but her left hand needed a lot of work.

A little sniffle left the girl as she looked at her bandaged arm. It hurt. It hurt so much. Big fat tears formed at the corner of her eyes and rolled down her cheeks. The doctors said it would heal, but it still hurts and the whole thing was so scary...

Unos pasos lo ponen en alerta, suenan diferente al del personal médico o su familia, así que no tarda en deducir quién ingresó a la sala, haciendo que su rostro se ilumine con una pequeña y sincera sonrisa. “Si te llegan a descubrir te sacarán a patadas.” Ahí estaba, su único amigo y quién parece experto en evadir los límites de horario, una criatura muy diferente a él pero con quien disfruta platicar y enseñarle los bocetos que ha hecho. “¿Tienes hambre?
