Riddle: I counted 24 new Heartslabyul members. It is slightly larger than average, but I’m sure we can work it out. Cater, can you make sure everything at the dorm is alright?

Cater: 100%!

Riddle: And Trey, can you help me keep the freshman in line.

No one responds

Riddle: *looks around* Trey?

Cater: *also looks around before spotting Trey walking up to someone* There he is. *points him out* What is he doing?

Riddle: That’s what I would like to know. It better be important.

Trey: *walking up to Trinity, voice full of a lot of emotions* You’re Trinity Clover, right?

Trinity: Yes. And you are?

Trey: I’m Trey. Do you remember me?…

Trinity: *eyes widen in realization* Brother?

Trey: *wraps Trinity in a tight hug* Where have you been?! It’s been so long and we were all so worried! *holding back tears*

Cater: *walking up with Riddle* Hey Trey, who’s this?

Trey: *releases Trinity* Oh! Sorry, this is my sister, Trinity. I just haven’t seen her in a while.

Riddle: Really? I thought I saw all of your siblings.

Trey: Uh, not exactly…

Trinity: I wasn’t at home for some time. Things happened.

Riddle: Are you okay?

Trinity: I am alright.

Cater: *holds out his hand* Well any sibling of Trey’s is a friend of mine. I’m Cater Diamond.

Trinity: *looks at his hand simply nods back* Nice to meet you, Cater.

Cater: *takes his hand back* Lol, ouch. Firm rejection.

Trey: *confused and looks at Trinity* Are you sure you’re okay, Trin? It has been years, but I remember you acting a lot differently.

Trinity: As I said, things happened. *looks at Lilia who is gathering up all the Diasomnia dorm members* I should get going. *walks off*

Trey: Alright, bye then…

Cater: ...Well she seems delightful.

Some Canaryverse stuff because I’ve been thinking about a specific trio…

The BOVS (Bureau of Void Security)…name is subject to change. Aka The Griffin, The Pigeon, and The Cardholders (or Trinity). All of them have humanoid and object forms because apparently the OSC is never leaving me…which to be fair The Canary was an Object oc before they became the void-

These three are the Canary’s…not most trusted (because The Griffin) but basically only helpers.

Technically it’s 75% Nepotism (The Pigeon was a clone of them and Trinity gained sentience because of The Canary so she considers both of them xeir kids…they are also all made somewhat of void, and The Canary is the void).

The Griffin manages things within The CoalMine. He watches what’s going on. She has to inform The Canary on what’s going on within and prevent people from making plans of leaving through various events. He really doesn’t want to but it’s either this, forgetting his entire life or possibly dying.

The Pigeon was given the purpose of protecting The Void, especially The CoalMine. Preventing anyone from getting in and getting out of The CoalMine unless The Canary allows it. It takes its job…mostly seriously. Serious in the sense it does its job and does it well but also the way it goes about it is with lots and lots of violence. It was not made for violence but the environment it used to live in kind of fucked it up.

The Cardholders. Or Trinity. The only one that regularly uses their actual name. They weren’t really given a job so much as they chose their own job. They tell The Canary about things outside The Void since xey can’t leave but they can, and she can only have her eyes on so many places. So they watch. And they tell. The Canary helped them so now they’ll help her. Also there’s multiple of them but it’s a very weird situation and the best way to explain it is like hastily putting a bunch of programs into a single .chr file and making them all only use one model that changes its appearance based on which ai is active…and most of them are broken in various different ways with the exception of like, 4.

The three of them…don’t really get along well.

The Griffin and The Pigeon tolerate each other. Griffin is uncomfortable around Pigeon due to its great proximity and resemblance to The Canary’s preferred form and Pigeon is a 12 year old given too much power that likes to annoy The Griffin because it’s technically her superior.

The Griffin and Trinity…are kind of neutral? They don’t talk much because Trinity doesn’t hang around where Griffin usually is and Griffin doesn’t go near where Trinity technically lives.

Pigeon and Trinity are technically siblings…so as you can expect they hate each other/j

All jokes aside they don’t tend to work together well, whenever Trinity comes to and from the CoalMine Pigeon pretends to attack them because it thinks it’s funny…while to Trinity it just brings about really bad memories for some of them. They get along sometimes, mainly when they’re both just hanging out in The CoalMine with the rest of The Canary (and by association, their) family. Mostly in silence as they do their own thing. At the very least if something happened to the other they’d probably do something.

Collectively they all work awfully together. None of their jobs overlap but at some point The Canary makes them go on a “Team Bonding Roadtrip” in another dimension which. Don’t know why she gave them a car considering one is blind outside the void, one is a 12 year old, and the third can only legally drive half the time because the other half the time their either 10 (like here) or missing an arm.

I love these three so much and I want to draw and talk about them but my thoughts are not coherent in the slightest-

Small thing to mention about my timeline thing, apparently the SDC canonically happened in February, so either they got two months of practice/a month’s notice then a month’s practice, but I’m ignoring that. At least for my characters, SDC notice is at the beginning of the January, SDC practice starts in the middle of the month, and the competition is held at the very end. That doesn’t give a lot of time, but too bad for them.

Side note, I was watching a video for ages for the canon cast and wanted to clarify ages of my characters (basing it off the lists in a video by YuuRei)

Dusk - March 29th - Older by 4 years and 11 months (and 20 days, so close enough to another month according to Dusk) than Malleus, technically not full five years, but five years older in practicality, and would be the second oldest student (second oldest by third year standards too, but Dusk is a first year because Crowley, so oldest first year by far)

Domino - June 3rd - Older than Deuce by a few minutes, leaving Deuce as still the youngest first year, Domino being second youngest

Canis - December 10th - Has no one to compare to, but 1!Canis is the third oldest first year in his timeline/au

Kit - January 3rd - third oldest first year, and I haven’t made specific bdays for fellow and Gidel yet, so I’m going based off 9 years younger than fellow and 6 years older than Gidel

Toryn - March 8th - 7 months older than the Tweels, so technically not a full year older and is the second youngest third year, being older than Vil by a month and a day.

Dekker - October 30th - Younger than Cater by 8 months, not a full year, and is the second oldest second year (Tweels are close to him though)

Ruse - August 24th - Younger than Riddle by a few minutes, making him the youngest second year (Side note, both he and Riddle are one day short of being one month older than Ace. School age cut off laughed in Ace’s face.)

Trinity - July 5th - Two years and 8 months, youngest first year (I’m going to be honest here, my brain wasn’t working while doing this one, so I might be wrong, but I’m pretty sure this would fit if the cutoff was like sep 1st. Feel free to double check this. Have her bday being new info to make up for it.)

Outside of Leona, Ortho, Malleus, Lilia, and now Silver.

Everyone is 16-18

Although, Ortho is probably 16 as well, but that's speculation.

The only undefined, age outside of Ortho, is Yuu since they don't have an age, but most people assume they're 16 since they're a first year. But i really love the idea of an older Yuu cause just cause you're a first year, doesn't mean you're 16. Case in point, Leona's a 3rd year and he's 20.

But anyway, ignoring my rambles, i like it!

citra has so much passion in him. it's an integral part of his character. he's so emotional and deep into anything he does so. yes, he has seven hoes. he loves each one of them dearly.

ciaran maurin - when citra meets ciaran, he's nothing, just the ward of merel ness, and he's kind of at the point where he's kind of accepted that he's going to be nothing. maple sure as hell isn't going to give him that boost, and he's desperate for other people's approval (rabbithole.mp3). ciaran is the first person who believes he can be something other than what he is. ciaran is the person who's able to give citra the jumping-off point that causes him to become much more confident (dangerously so). he's still haunted by ciaran for the rest of his life. he can't chop down freypoint woods, and he will never want to.

ania livias- citra murders ania's husband. he does a lot of murder. and ania hates him for it. at the same time, she loses precious protection by not marrying him. she activates citra's mommy issues. citra infuriates her. the two of them are incredibly horrible for each other, and ania leaves him pretty soon after their whirlwind affair. it tears him up. the worst thing about his thing for older people is that he wants validation and he also murdered her husband so ania isnt willing to give it to him unless the exchange is transactional.

gilbert cutmore - literally the equivalent of committed to the bit. he was supposed to be in citra's house reporting back to clover but like. what can he say, pretty man. citra values gilbert as a steadfast companion, someone who's just always been there and has been a soft, gentle force. gilbert has been there through everything and citra loves him for it. gilbert will never leave him and honestly, that's the stability citra desperately needs.

marco vaude - lord have fucking mercy dude these two are AWFUL. marco wont stop sucking up. citra thinks he's pathetic. marco wants citra's validation. citra just wants marco's. their breakup is so messy that citra wouldn't stop talking about it for days. they got back together two weeks later. they broke up again. marco wanted clout in diamond and citra laughed him out of the room the final time they broke up. citra inspired the collective vaude inferiority complex.

celine beaufort- celine and citra was actually really sweet, but short-lived. inherently, they were not meant to be but god they had a good time. celine was just trying to have some fun and citra wanted something very serious. they're still friendly, but as you can tell that it's a little strained. she's a noblewoman and he's the king so if they ever committed it would've been super beneficial for her, but man she is just not in this to be married! she was married once and didnt like it!

caius kira - man how can you import so many WHORES (citra had a hotgirl summer). another case of toxic yaoi, but this time caius came in with a hashtag AGENDA he was like pleaseee help support william silvamillion against the roseleis and ill eat you out and citra had a moment of "you are old enough to be my father you should be demeaning me." it was a very humiliating positive pregnancy test result after their subsequent messy breakup.

passiflora roselei - passiflora shows up and citra is like hm. i need her. and passiflora is initially like "who is this weird... freak". she's also intially angry at gilbert for betraying her aunt maple and staying in diamond despite the revolt of the silvamillions, but because she can't go back to clover she's stuck with the ezra-diamonds. slowly they end up bonding, and they are very good for each other. she even ends up accepting gilbert as her boy as well, and the three of them just end up being the world's most unhinged polycule. citra adores her and the two of them are both incredibly similar. like calls to like, and theyre both very passionate people.
