“I believe he’s reached his limit now, Your Majesty.”

He sat in the examination chair, his arms and legs were strapped down with leather. His arms were littered with bleeding scars from medical equipment and aches from the stings of the syringe needles. His head hung down, chin touching his chest and his red hair covered his eyes.

“And the result?”

“His body is very responsive to the enhancement modifications. Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do about his emotions.” The Head Scientist told his father, talking about him like he was nothing more than a successful experiment…a lab rat turned into perfect success. “Unlike the case of your third son Sanji, his emotions are in full control. It’s like his emotions can open and shut down, like how you flick on the light switch.”

“Fascinating.” Judge said without enthusiasm. “And his eye?”

“His sight is unchanged. However, the scar will remain for the rest of his life.”

“Hmph. That behavior was unacceptable, but I will let it slide for this one time. He is, after all, my masterpiece. That scar should teach him a lesson.” Judge turned to his team of scientists.  “Continue his modifications as planned. His training will be doubled and his contact with his siblings will be limited. From now on, I will personally train him instead of him joining his brothers. Ichiji must set an example and he will learn to never try to defy me!”

Ichiji knew that he was in hell.

He might as well use it to his advantage.

“W-wait!” He gasped out. “Judge…I want to make a deal.”

Judge narrowed his eyes on him, looking down at him and crossed his arms. “What kind of deal?” He demanded.

“Sanji…” Ichiji said, his voice nearly hoarse of being on the brink of pain and agony. “Release him…if I become your perfect little puppet. My emotions…they’re not as weak as you think. They motivate me and they’re my driving force…I will win every fight without failure, I am in control of them. I’ll do whatever you want…if you release Sanji to freedom. He’s no use for the kingdom…there’s no reason for him to be here. All the planned modifications meant for him…give me them! I will take on his role as well! Just release him in return. Let him go.”

“Your Majesty, may I disagree? No matter how much of a success your first son is, he cannot take on two sets of modifications.” The Head Scientist suddenly opened his mouth. 

“You would pay for his freedom by taking on his role as well?” Judge inquired. “Very well. Since you’re my greatest masterpiece, despite your little unfortunate…disadvantage.”

Thanks for the question @rudnitskaia! Ill answer this in parts if thats ok, starting with:

🌺- Do they have any love interest(s)?

Ace doesn't have any set in stone love interests currently but there are a few people i can see him with.

He and Rocky get along well for one. They're definitely the most similar and Ace is genuinely taken in by his eccentricities instead of pushed away.

She would also probably fall head over heels for Serafine. He loves the kind of woman who can kick his ass. He also really admires how she's very un-apologetically herself.

Since finding out about Under The Devil's Moon, someone I think she would be cute with is Jack. Jack seems to have gone through a lot of similar trauma as her, and the dynamic of a short extrovert and a tall introvert is very fun to me. She's used to being an outcast, being ignored and best neither seen or heard, so she deals with it by making as much noise as possible to intentionally provoke a reaction out of people. Which seems to be very much the opposite of the way Jack deals. I think when she realizes Jack is just generally anxious and struggles with people being up in his face she tries to reign in those parts of her personality. She doesn't intentionally want to hurt someone who doesn't deserve it. So she makes an effort to show Jack that he can feel safe and relax around her. In my own little personal headcanon I like to think Ace helps him get closer to accepting himself whether he's an outcast or not.

Had the sketch for this lying around so i managed to finish it pretty quickly (and a little hastily) after i got the ask. So ye have This doodle of Ace and Jack probably stealing from some party and dancing with the fireflies.
