me, wondering why my legs are still sore two days after a three hour hike

#enduring mysteries#and backyard scenery#📈📉#very old rocks and very old trees and very small me#but who! who can resist the urge to climb to the top of something#outside the cabin#i also immediately got cozy and didn’t stretch oops haha#it’s very much on me#forest dispatches#excluded from these pics: the surprise profusion of devil’s club and wild rubus at the base of the cliffs#like playing Operation through hip high bush#but i was not going to walk all the way to the cliffs and not try and get ON them for goodness sake#some really fun scramble sections#gorgeous mercurial spring weather - sun and light hail#and endless talus lol#nature#ps that ponderosa is 200-300+ years old#man!!!
