How a Detachable Hip Seat Baby Carrier Can Simplify Your Parenting Journey | LittleBum.In
Parenting is a beautiful, yet challenging journey filled with moments of joy and, at times, a bit of chaos. Whether you're a first-time parent or juggling multiple kids, finding ways to simplify your daily routine is essential. One product that can make a significant difference is a detachable hip seat baby carrier. This innovative design not only offers comfort and convenience but also adapts to the growing needs of your baby and your busy lifestyle.
Let’s explore how a detachable hip seat baby carrier can transform your parenting experience.
1. Versatility for Newborns and Toddlers
One of the standout features of a detachable hip seat baby carrier is its versatility. Whether you’re carrying a newborn or a toddler, this carrier adjusts to your child’s needs. The detachable hip seat makes it easy to switch between full carrier mode and a simpler hip seat-only option, allowing you to hold your baby securely while reducing strain on your arms and back. This feature is especially helpful as your child grows from a tiny newborn to an energetic toddler, making it a long-term investment that adapts with your baby.
At LittleBum.In, we offer a range of detachable hip seat baby carriers, including the Blue Ocean Detachable Hip Seat Carrier and the Yellow Pyramid Detachable Hip Seat Baby Carrier, both designed to suit different styles and needs.
2. Ergonomic Support for Parents and Babies
Comfort is key when carrying your baby, especially for long periods. That’s where the ergonomic baby carrier design comes into play. The hip seat helps distribute your baby’s weight evenly across your hips, reducing pressure on your shoulders and back. For your baby, the seat provides a natural sitting position, supporting their hips and spine in a healthy alignment. This is essential for preventing discomfort and promoting healthy physical development.
The Infinite Detachable Hip Seat Baby Carrier and the Silver Hills Detachable Hip Seat Baby Carrier are great examples of how ergonomics can enhance both parent and baby comfort. These carriers ensure that both you and your little one can enjoy longer outings without the strain typically associated with traditional carriers.
3. Lightweight and Easy to Use
For active parents, ease of use is crucial. A lightweight shoulder carrier with a detachable hip seat is the perfect solution for quick trips out or even extended adventures. It’s compact enough to bring along anywhere, and its design makes putting it on and taking it off a breeze. No complicated straps or buckles just a simple, hassle-free experience that gives you more time to focus on your little one.
At LittleBum.In, we understand that parents are always on the move, which is why our detachable hip seat carriers are designed to be lightweight and easy to handle.
4. Cost-Effective and Long-Lasting
Another major benefit of a detachable hip seat baby carrier is its cost-effectiveness. Instead of buying multiple carriers as your child grows, the detachable design allows you to use it from the newborn stage through toddlerhood. This flexibility makes it a smart investment for budget-conscious parents.

Day 13: "You and me. Now."
Ship: Hangman x OC (Sav)
Take a shot every time I put a character in trouble with their significant other
Team I fuckin hate Christmas in the city people are straight up awful. I'm outta here to hug my dog and see a kangaroo in the bushes
(that sounds like a euphemism)
(I swear it wasn't)
(did anyone else see that photo with Glen wearing glasses?? Send help that was hot)
I've written day 13 and 14, but then I'm heading for 15 and potentially 16 by the end of the day because I am actually leaving the city tomorrow to be with my family for the holiday break!
Savannah was on a mission. Straight through the group of aviators standing at the collection point and into Jake’s arms, reaching up to kiss him. He didn’t even hesitate, brushing his thumb over her hip. They separated and Savannah glanced over her shoulder to watch the others find their families. Shifting slightly she saw Coyote scoop up his daughter when the little girl walked to him. The look of surprise on his face told her it was the first time he’d seen her walk. She felt Jake’s hand on her back and turned back to hug him again.
“You okay?” She murmured. He smiled into her shoulder.
“Happy to be back with you.”
“Nerd,” Savannah snorted, “but I’m glad too.”
“Hey Bagman, we’re going to hang out at Coyote’s once everyone’s had a nap. You down?”
Savannah turned in her husband’s arms, eyebrow raised when Phoenix walked past them. Jake hummed, running a hand down Savannah’s back to check with her.
“What do you think, baby? Wanna go get drunk?”
“Sounds like a plan.”
Jake nodded at Phoenix and she grinned.
“See you there.”
“Starts at seven!” Coyote called. Everyone cheered.
-
Savannah didn’t usually go and meet Jake when he got off a carrier in another state, but something told her this one was different. He’d been radio silent until the day before and she’d taken the first flight from Texas to San Diego to see him. By the time they got back to the hotel he was subtly yawning and Savannah felt like she’d been wired for almost twenty-four hours. They took one look at each other and stripped off, collapsing on the bed. Savannah went to set an alarm but Jake stopped her, pressing a kiss to her shoulder.
“C’mon; let’s just sleep. If we sleep till ten it’s no big deal.”
“What about tomorrow morning?”
“I’ll be starving and I might be in trouble with my CO for missing debrief but at least we’ll be well rested.”
Savannah hummed.
“Let’s not get you into any more trouble than usual. Go to sleep, Seresin.”
Jake flopped on to his back and Savannah sat up beside him. As much as he could pretty much fall asleep anywhere at this point, Savannah hadn’t quite adjusted to the Navy life and sometimes she needed a moment to just be grateful he was back and a-okay save a couple bruises on his chest and back. When Jake rolled on to his side he put a hand on her leg and she squeezed it before reaching for her book. Knowing her, she’d be out before she finished the chapter.
-
Somewhere during the night Savannah found herself separated from Jake and joining Rooster at the bonfire. She didn’t know him all that well, having met and married Jake in the time they weren’t friends, but something told her he was an alright guy.
“Bagman told you, huh?”
“Told me what?”
“Look; I’m really sorry. I already apologised to him, but-“
Savannah frowned. She scooted forward on her seat, flicking Rooster’s knee.
“What are you talking about?”
His eyes widened; he put his beer down and cleared his throat.
“Hangman and I... we stopped being friends years ago but he said something I had no idea he knew about and I flew off the handles.”
Savannah’s head shot up, dread building in her stomach.
“What did he say?”
“It’s not important, I-“
“-what did he say, Bradshaw- wait. Did you punch him?”
“I may have... uh. Yeah, I tried to- I wasn’t thinking... damn, Savannah, I’m sorry.”
“What did he say that was so fucking awful?”
“The man who’s been our commanding officer for this detachment flew with my father... they had an accident when I was two and my dad... didn’t make it. I don’t like it being shared around, y’know, sometimes I tell people and they think I got into the Navy as a nepo baby.”
“I’m confused.”
“Your husband broadcasted it to our squad and I guess I stopped thinking.”
Savannah sucked in a breath. Finally, she stood and took his beer.
“I hope you can go home and tell your wife that. Now excuse me, I have to go deal with mine.”
She stormed off, leaving Rooster with his brows furrowed.
“Hangman... isn’t a... hm.”
He shrugged.
“Hangman the wife. Well, if he wants he will.”
-
“You and me. Now.”
Jake whipped around when he felt Savannah tug at the end of his shirt, frowning when she gestured toward a quieter corner of Javy’s backyard.
“Everything okay, baby?”
“Now, Jake.”
He handed his beer to his best friend, letting his wife lead him away from the group. The first thing she did was gently turn his head from side to side, inspecting his face for any marks or bruises remaining from Rooster’s attempt. Then she put her hands on her hips.
“Tell me what you said to Rooster.”
“Sav...”
“Did you seriously bring up his dad? I know you can be an asshole at work but fuck me, that is straight up awful!”
“Savannah-“
“-did you even think for a fucking second that you could trigger him? Rooster is a ball of anxiety buried under his super cool exterior at the best of times! Why do you think he’s here right now, not halfway back to Virginia Beach? He could be home, with his wife and kids-“
“-he nearly fucking wasn’t!”
Savannah’s lips pressed together, snapped shut in surprise. Jake took a deep breath, running a hand through his hair.
“You didn’t see him during training, Sav. He was getting through the course but he was so slow. If he flew like that in the mission... god, I wasn’t going to be the one to tell Dee. Or his kids.”
Savannah watched him for a moment. Finally, she reached for his hand.
“You were scared.”
“No, I was terrified.”
“Whatever you said to him wasn’t okay, and you know that is not the way to tell him you’re worried about him, but... Jake, look at me.”
As much as he was exasperated, he was also doing his best impression of a kicked puppy.
“I’m glad he’s okay, I’m glad you’re okay, and I’m really glad your face is okay. I kind of like it.”
That made him snort, and he reached for her hand.
“I already told him I was sorry, we talked it out on the transport flight. We’re cool.”
“I can’t believe how fucking bitchy you two can be... c’mere.”
She pushed off her back foot, straight into Jake’s arms. His shoulders relaxed and Savannah gave him a little tap on the back.
“Still mean.”
“I know.”
“Why didn’t you just talk to him?”
“I was scared it wasn’t goin’ to work.”
“Phoenix?”
“Not talking to me.”
“You may have deserved that, honey.”
“Stop bein’ the voice of reason.”
They separated, Jake kissing her nose. Savannah brushed a hand over his cheek, then subtly tilted her head toward the back gate.
“We should... get some sleep.”
“Totally; debrief and then the flight home, we’re gonna be... uh, busy.”
The pair exchanged a look, then took off to make hasty goodbyes.

Benefits of an Ergonomic Baby Carrier : Buttbaby. In Explains
As parents, we constantly seek ways to provide the utmost comfort and safety for our little ones. One of the essential tools in this journey is the ergonomic baby carrier. At Buttbaby. In, we understand the importance of choosing the right carrier that not only supports your baby's development but also enhances your parenting experience.
Supporting Healthy Development
Ergonomic baby carriers are designed with your baby's natural posture in mind. They promote healthy hip development by supporting the baby in the recommended "M" position, where their thighs are spread around the parent's torso with knees bent and hips spread apart. This position helps in proper hip joint formation, reducing the risk of hip dysplasia—a concern especially in the early months of a baby's life.
Comfort for Both Parent and Baby
One of the standout features of our ergonomic baby carriers is the comfort they offer. The weight distribution across the parent's hips and shoulders alleviates strain, making it easier to carry your baby for extended periods. Adjustable straps and padded waistbands ensure a snug fit, allowing you to maintain good posture while keeping your hands free to manage daily tasks.
Versatility in Design
Whether you're navigating crowded streets, hiking trails, or simply doing household chores, our ergonomic carriers adapt to your needs. They come with versatile features like detachable hip seats or panels that allow you to switch between front-facing, inward-facing, and back-carry positions effortlessly. This versatility ensures that both parent and baby stay comfortable and secure in any situation.
Enhanced Bonding Experience
Carrying your baby close to your body fosters a deep sense of closeness and bonding. It allows for constant interaction, soothing your baby with your warmth, heartbeat, and voice. This closeness not only strengthens the emotional bond but also provides a sense of security and reassurance to your little one.
Affordable Quality at Buttbaby.In
At Buttbaby. In, we prioritize affordability without compromising on quality. Our range of ergonomic baby carriers includes options suitable for every budget, ensuring that every parent can find the perfect carrier for their needs. From basic models to advanced designs with additional features, we strive to cater to diverse preferences and requirements.
Conclusion
Choosing an ergonomic baby carrier is a decision that impacts both you and your baby's well-being. At Buttbaby. In, we're committed to providing informative insights and high-quality products that support your parenting journey. India Lima Yankee - Chapter 20
Pairing: Rooster x Female OC

Warnings: Talk about death and terminal illness
Summary: Juliette Kazansky discovers Maverick is back in town for a special training detachment, but she's more than a little blindsided when her Rooster arrives too. Having not spoken to him for almost ten years after their less than amicable break-up, Juliette can only imagine how the next few weeks are going to play out when she remains head over heels in love with him while he wants nothing to do with Juliette other than to forget her.
Or so she thinks.

Rooster
The day had started on a sour note with the thought of having to fly a near-impossible course while knowing no matter how well he did on it, Maverick wouldn't choose him for the mission to 'protect' him. Then, to have the day go as it did with dogfight football, the laughter and camaraderie, and the flirtatious conversations he'd had with Juliette, Rooster couldn't have imagined a better end. He still felt horrible about leaving the bruise on Jules's hip. When she'd stepped in front of Rooster to stop him from going after Hangman, he'd grabbed onto her waist as a way to silently ground himself, to remind him that as long as Juliette was there, he couldn't do anything because if a physical altercation between the two men occurred, she absolutely would've held no regard for her safety and stepped in to break them up. She would've risked getting hurt by either one of them, and that's the last thing Rooster wanted, although he'd ended up hurting anyways...
The group, as always, gathered around the pool table. Coyote and Phoenix chose to talk to Juliette and Rooster, who stood so close that their arms pressed into each other, almost like they were leaning into one another. Maybe they were. Rooster was still shocked from her insinuation at their sex life earlier, and he hadn't been able to get it off his mind since. Had they not been in public, Rooster might've pulled her into another kiss he'd been dying to give her since the other night.
These Boots Were Made for Walking blared next to Rooster, causing both him and Juliette to jump. She swiftly pulled out her phone and said, "I need to take this. I'll be back."
She hurried out the door, hitting answer on her way. Rooster briefly overheard her say "Hey, Mom" before the noise of the crowd drowned her out. Not thinking anything of it, Rooster continued chatting with Phoenix and Coyote, avoiding anything to do with the mission. None of them wanted to stress over it tonight when they had the remaining two and a half weeks to do that. Instead, they chatted about their squadrons, antics on their carriers, stories of when they'd come home from deployment, and everything else that brought a smile to their faces.
However, as ten minutes passed, then twenty, then thirty, Rooster noticed Juliette had failed to rejoin them. Concerned, he excused himself from the group and made his way outside. Juliette sat on a bench at the far end of the balcony, staring at her phone.
Rooster approached hesitantly, unsure if she wanted space or not. "You okay?"
"Hmm?" Juliette looked up at him, somewhat dazed. "Oh, yeah. I'm fine. Just got off the phone with my mom, is all."
Rooster took a seat next to her. "I know it's been a long time, but I can still tell when you're not 'fine.' What is it?"
She shook her head. "It's fine, really. Besides, you're having a good day. I don't want to bring you down with what's going on with me."
"I care more about you than anything else. Talk to me, Jules."
He watched Juliette fiddle with her phone for a few seconds, turning it over and over in her hands before she finally spoke in an eerily calm voice, "Dad took a bad turn tonight. Mom told me I should maybe start preparing myself."
Of all things she could've said, that was one of the last Rooster expected. A coldness settled over him, the dread of the impending death of yet another person he loved. He'd purposefully pushed people away in his life to avoid going through this again. It'd been hard enough losing his mom and becoming an orphan at eighteen. Maverick might as well have been dead to him over the past decade, and he'd lost a close friend right after his breakup with Jules, which played a part in him not returning to her. Rooster hadn't wanted to mourn anyone again, nor did he want people to mourn him if he died, to go through the grief. Yet, here he was, the heartache already setting in at the mere idea of losing Tom Kazansky, a man he hadn't seen in close to ten years, yet the feelings were as strong as ever. And here he was, getting close to Juliette before a death-defying mission, one he wouldn't be chosen for, but nonetheless, the stress and anxiety it induced were enough to make even the most level-headed people like Juliette on edge.
"I'm sorry," Rooster said, the words sounding less than comforting coming out of his mouth. He knew better than most that nothing anyone said or did could help with the knowledge that one day, and one day soon, a person you loved would die. "Do you want me to give you a ride home so you can be with them?"
Juliette smiled softly, shaking her head. "No, thank you, though. I actually told my mom when she called that I'd come over now, but I received a text from Dad a few seconds later telling me to stay out and have fun with everyone. I don't even know how he texted so fast when the man types with just his pointer fingers still. Dad is also strangely scarier when he doesn't speak."
Juliette leaned back, staring out over the beach and at the black horizon, her gaze distant. "I remember when the first time he was diagnosed with the cancer. It was about a year after you and I broke up. I was terrified of losing him. It's actually why I called you that day. I figured if anyone could understand, it'd be you."
Rooster's heart sank to his stomach. "Jules, I-"
"I'm not telling you this to make you feel guilty," she interrupted gently, patting his thigh reassuringly. He placed his hand atop hers, lacing their fingers together. "I knew it was a long shot trying to reach you after what happened. And you did call me back, I just had my assbutt of a boyfriend at the time in my house when you did."
"Assbutt?" Rooster repeated, unable to help the amusement edging his tone. "Was he the cheater?"
"Yeah. Antonio Cerrillo. I'll give him credit where credit is due, though, because he was good to me while Dad went through chemo."
A flood of guilt rushed through Bradley. He couldn't help but think he should've been the one to comfort her, to be there for her. If he hadn't been so stupid and cowardly, he would've. Juliette, however, not noticing Rooster's grimacing, continued. "Dad went into remission a few months after. We'd caught it early enough that the chemo worked wonders. About three years went by with nothing, and then, suddenly, it was back. It was worse the second time around, and it took two years before the doctors said they couldn't see any remnants of it. That chemo treatment was extremely tough on both Dad and Mom. Dad because he was the one going through it, and Mom because she cared for him day and night. She went forty-eight hours without sleeping once because she was so upset and stressed over making sure Dad was okay because he went through a nasty rough patch during an already horrible chemo treatment. I made her get some sleep and took some time off work to care for him. Once he moved past that second diagnosis, I thought that was it. It's Dad, after all. He's invincible. Like Maverick. He fended off six enemy aircraft until Mav could come to his rescue. How many aviators can say that?"
"None that I know of," Rooster replied, quickly running through the list in his head.
"And then, right before you got here, we found out it'd come back. As you already know, it's terminal..." Juliette trailed off, falling silent and clenching her jaw. Rooster waited for her to gather herself because he recognized she wanted to cry but was doing everything she could to prevent the tears from forming or falling. It took a couple of minutes before it happened. Juliette's voice was barely above a whisper as she said, "I think I've been in denial. I thought maybe the doctor's made a mistake with their terminal diagnosis or that he'd be a miracle case and would live despite everything, defy all expectations like he always does, but I know now. I know I don't have long with him, and now I'm torn between listening to him and making him happy by staying out with all of you or going home and spending time with him before I can't anymore."
"What if I went home with you?" Rooster offered, regretting the words the moment they came out of his mouth. Why would she want him around after he'd abandoned her? This was her family anyway, not his. Not anymore. Rooster lost that privilege when he eliminated them from his life all those years ago.
Juliette shook her head. "No, you should stay here and enjoy your night. I'll catch an Uber back home and-"
Rooster shook his head and cut her off. "Juliette, you were there for me when my mom was dying. Let me be here for you."
"You have so much on your plate right now. You have training and the mission to worry about, and I need you to focus on that. I need you to-" Juliette's voice hitched momentarily- "I need you to put everything you have into acing what Maverick throws at you because my gut tells me you're going on that mission and if you don't come back..."
"Jules-"
"I can't have your funeral too, Rooster."
Although he didn't believe her instinct about being chosen for the mission, Bradley still couldn't let her panic. He couldn't have her grieving over him, too, especially when there was nothing and would be nothing to grieve about. "You won't. I will come back to you this time. I promise."
Juliette finally looked over at him, sorrow etched onto her face, but she managed to smile appreciatively at him. "I'm going to hold you to that, Lieutenant."
"I want you to." Rooster lifted her hand and kissed the back of it. "Do you want to go back inside? Or do you want me to give you a ride home?"
Juliette checked the time on her phone. "It's only eight... maybe stay for another hour, appease my dad, and then give me a ride home?"
"You got it, boss." Rooster stood up, helping Juliette along the way. Before he could move, she embraced him in a brief, tight hug, which he willingly returned. She kissed him on the cheek as she pulled away, prompting him to ask, "What was that for?"
Juliette shrugged. "For being you and being there for me just now. I'm sorry for putting such a damper on your night."
"Don't apologize. I'm glad you trusted me enough to tell me what was happening." Rooster held out his hand. "Shall we?"
Juliette took it, and the two of them re-entered the Hard Deck. They ordered drinks from the bar before rejoining their friends. Juliette noticeably stayed glued to Rooster's side, but he hardly minded. He wanted to spend as much time with her as possible because who knew when the next time would be that they could see each other after the mission?
Around nine, the aviators, exhausted from the long day of dogfight football and realizing they would resume regular training tomorrow, decided to call it a night. Rooster drove Juliette to her house, where they said hello to Maria and Firefly and waited for the girls' Ubers to pick them up before rounding up Raptor and Lightning into the back of Rooster's Bronco and heading to the Kazansky household.
Sarah opened the door, surprise showing in her red-tinged eyes. She'd been crying, of that, Rooster had no doubt. The Kazanksy matriarch inquired, "What are you two doing here? I wasn't expecting-"
"Everyone else retired for the night, and I wanted to come hang out with you and Dad. Rooster was kind enough to go through the trouble of picking up the dogs on the way here."
"It was no trouble at all," Rooster assured, bending down and scratching Raptor and Lightning behind their ears. The dogs leaned happily into him. "I'm sure you need to get back to base, but you're welcome to stay for a bit," Sarah offered.
"I wouldn't want to intrude. I'm sure you'd like to spend time as a family."
"You're family too, no matter what's happened," she insisted.
"I should probably get back to base and get some rest for tomorrow. I promised someone I'd come back from this mission-" Rooster glanced over at Juliette, flashing her a small smile- "so I need to make sure I'm rested for tomorrow to be at the top of my game. Rain check?"
"Of course. It's good to see you, honey." Sarah gave him a motherly hug, then left the former lovers alone.
"Thank you again for the ride. I'll see you tomorrow?" Juliette queried, pulling her jacket sleeves over her hands and crossing her arms over her chest.
"Yeah, I'll see you tomorrow. Good night, Jules." Rooster leaned down and pecked her cheek despite his heart and his head shouting furiously at him to pull Juliette into a passionate kiss to make her forget all her woes and worries, if just for a short period of time.
"Good night, Bradley." Juliette entered the house and shut the door. Hands in his pockets, Rooster shuffled to his car. He drove back to base, although he didn't remember much of the ride there, his mind too preoccupied with Juliette and with Iceman's turn for the worse.
When he arrived to his room, Rooster got ready for bed, taking a shower, throwing on some sweatpants, and brushing his teeth. He sank onto his bed but didn't lay down right away. Instead, Rooster opened his nightstand drawer, pulling out a small box of keepsakes containing his most prized and sentimental possessions. Inside resided only five things: a picture of him, his parents, and Maverick when his dad was at Top Gun; his high school graduation ring, a gift from Maverick; his dad's naval academy ring; his mom's wedding ring; and a silver locket. It was the last item he pulled out. Rooster hesitated, wondering if its original owner would want it back after all this time. He rubbed his thumb over the familiar anchor embedded on the front before flipping it over and reading the inscription he longed to say to Juliette again: India Lima Yankee.

“Funny Seeing You Here.”
a/n: inspired by this tweet I saw: I’m in Target rn and i just overheard a woman tell her daughter. “Come on baby. Daddy will be home around 8:30 and we have to beat him there to hide all the clothes we are buying.” @saradesdinn on Twitter.
another a/n: also, you all are gonna see a lot more of Aurora. For some more background, read Dumbfounded Drew where the reader tells Andy they are expecting!
Freedom at last, you happily waved goodbye to all of your coworkers who were just as equally as glad to see gone. It was Friday, meaning you’d be able to be free from their irritating and fatuous gossip for the next two days. Half of the time, while you’d be diligently working at your desk, they’d be sitting around, picking their nails and loudly yap about whomever they pleased.
Once in your car, you quickly called your nephew who babysat your daughter, Aurora, for you since you’d gone back to work. Fresh outta high school, your nephew gladly took the opportunity since it meant he’d earn some money.
You arrived home in no time. Unlocking the door, you were greeted with the sight of your nephew playing with Aurora. With a giggle you came over to hug him, the young man smiling at you with a light tint to his cheeks.
“Thanks again for babysitting her, Ethan. It means a lot to me and your uncle.”
Digging in your purse, you fished out your wallet along with a check you had prepared for Ethan. You handed him the piece of paper with a bright smile as his jaw dropped.
“Aunt (y/n), I can’t accept this. We agreed on less than this. I won’t take it.”
Ethan stood in his place, holding out the check for you to take back. Shaking your head, you pushed his outstretched hand.
“Nonsense, you do a lot for us and you deserve this. Now go on! It’s Friday, have some fun!”
The young man laughed and accepted the check. You gave him a quick hug and he then walked himself to the door.
Once Ethan left, you turned to the floor where Aurora sat, chewing on some rubber toy you had gotten her.
“Hi sweetie! What do you say about a girl’s trip with mommy?”
You bounced Aurora on your hip and she grabbed at your hair, a large smile on her chubby little face.
“I’ll take that as a yes, Miss. Ro.”
With that, you grabbed Ro’s baby bag and brought her to your car.
Once you parked at the mall, you unstrapped Aurora from her seat and then adjusted her in the baby carrier that you had bonded across your chest.
With Aurora secure, you placed a soft kiss on her head and then grabbed your purse from the car.
Inside the mall, you went to the first department store in sight which happened to be a Macy’s. Rarely did you ever buy anything when you went on these spontaneous shopping trips. They were more of just window shopping trips to be honest.
After a few minutes of walking around, you caught sight of the most beautiful blouse you think you’ve seen in your life. Picking it up, the temptation to buy the dang thing grew stronger and stronger.
“One little blouse won’t hurt. Right, babe?”
You peered down to see Aurora asleep, as if you had actually expected an answer from the baby.
Oh how wrong you were.
From there, everything went downhill pretty fast and you ended up buying a bunch of clothes for Aurora and then a pair of shoes for yourself. Yes, you bought more things for the baby, but that’s how it worked now. You enjoyed spoiling Aurora, especially with her being your first born and all.
By time you were in line, you hadn’t even realized you’d picked up so many things. Instead of worrying, you just shrugged it off and whispered to Ro who had finally woken up.
“We better hurry up, sweetie. Your daddy should be getting off soon and we need to get home in time to hide all of our shi—-stuff.”
You softly laughed at your slip up and pecked Ro’s kissable baby forehead once more.
Leaning up, you peeked around the woman in front of you to see how many more people were in line. As you did so, a man in a suit turned to leave from his place checking out at the register. The handsome man turned his head in your direction, revealing two cerulean orbs that locked with yours. In shock, your eyes widened and said man started to strut over in your direction, heavily chuckling.
“Andy! What are you doing here?!”
You were caught in the act, your husband couldn’t stop laughing as you attempted to hide the many items and ultimately ended up miserably failing.
Andy held up the small plastic bag in his hand, slowly pulling out a box.
“Well, it was going to be a surprise, but I guess it’s kinda ruined now.”
He frowned for a short second and then immediately contorted his lips back into a beautiful smile. Taking the small box in one hand, Andy removed the lid to reveal a white gold band encrusted with microscopic gems that seemed to be diamonds.
By now, you had stepped out of line and brought your hands to your face in shock.
Andy tugged your left hand from your face and gently held it in his own. As he had done so many times before, Andy slipped on the ring, stopping just above your wedding band.
“I figured I’d get you a little something to remember when our precious Ro was born.”
You smiled at your husband and pulled his tie, bringing him closer to you, all while being mindful of Aurora who was still strapped in the carrier on your chest.
Without second thought, you sweetly kissed his lips for a long moment in time.
Against his plush, pink lips, you spoke up, “What did I do to deserve you, Drew?”
The man sighed, “Oh honey, I ask myself the same thing about you and Ro, every day.”
The two of you were oblivious to the many staring people, but just carried on.
Eventually detaching yourself from Andy’s lips, your husband offered to take Aurora while you went to go checkout. Yes, you were still going to buy those things.
Just as you walked away, you saw Andy strolling around the store, Aurora strapped to his chest as he maneuvered her pudgy little arms to wave at the people who smiled at her. With a small giggle, you turned away from the sight, relishing in a blissful sigh at the thought of your wonderful family.

Little Life - Ch.15
Summary: A baby could ruin his career before it had even started. If anyone found out, he would be kicked out of the Hero Course at the very least and UA at the very worst. Even then, how was he supposed to care for a baby once it arrived? He was a fucking seventeen-year-old boy, not a twenty-nine-year-old omega with their shit at least somewhat together.
…..
Or where Katsuki get pregnant, but is determined to make it to graduation. No matter what it takes.
Pairing: Bakudeku
Rating: T (just for language mostly)
Chapter: 15/16

Chapter 15: Graduation
Katsumi was cradled between Izuku and Katsuki, a rare treat for all three of them. She'd started to sleep through the night which was good, but there were still nights where she refused to settle down unless she was between them. They'd made it a point to never let her sleep in their bed, but sometimes, they couldn't help except to cave.
Arm outstretched and pinned beneath Izuku's head, Katsuki stared at the pair. Katsumi slept just like Izuku, flat on her back, mouth wide open and unapologetic, dead to the world. She was cuddled in the crook of his arm, head pillowed against his bicep. Her feet peddled slowly in her sleep.
He sighed, letting his eyes drift closed. Since Katsumi had been sleeping through the night, he'd started to sleep longer as well, but there were still times where he jolted into consciousness, ready to attend to a baby who didn't need him. Some times it took longer than others to drift back to sleep. It seemed to be one of those nights.
So, instead, he listened to his mate's and baby's steady breathing, Izuku muttering in his sleep, the settling of the building around them. This time a week from now, they'd be in the apartment that his parents had helped them find and they'd be heroes. They'd finally be heroes, climbing the ranks with single minded determination, and they'd be raising Katsumi without anyone else's input.
As he drifted, he wondered if there was anyone else awake. If they were worried about the practicals. If they were too excited. If they were doing what he was doing and staring at his mate. If they were still scared they'd never become heroes.
But they were way passed worrying now. They were almost there. All of them.
.....
The buzzer screamed overhead, signaling the end of the practical exams. Katsuki panted, face splashed with oil and his own blood. His skin steamed, hot beneath the freezing rain he'd been made to fight in. The rain stopped, and he stared around in a daze. Several of the others were around him including a few from 3-B, but Izuku was nowhere to be seen. They'd been split up before the exam.
The practical had been a combination of everything they'd learned in those three years. Rescue efforts, battle, team work, and so on. It had been hard, just like every exam they'd ever had, but there was no doubt in his mind they'd all made it.
"Come on, man," Kirishima said with an unsteady grin as he gripped Katsuki's shoulder, "Let's go get our scores."
Together with the others, they trudged back to the main area of the exam arena. Already, the scores were being projected over the stage. And right there, tied for first place were Katsuki and Izuku's names.
"You came in first! Way to go man!" Kirishima yelled in his ear, but he wasn't listening as he looked over the sea of students for that familiar tuft of green curls.
He could barely smell Izuku on the air, everyone's scents mixing and intermingling to make it impossible to trace where the scent was coming from. Growling out his frustration, he turned in a slow circle.
"KACCHAN!" Katsuki spun towards Izuku's voice, catching him as he flew into him. Strong legs wrapped around his waist and stronger arms around his neck as Izuku sobbed uncontrollably. "We did it! We did it! Kacchan, we finally did it!" Izuku shouted, smothering his words against Katsuki's mouth as he kissed him over and over again.
Katsuki couldn't help the laughter that spilled from him. "We still have to pass the licensing exam, dumby." He held Izuku tight against his body, hands gripping his hips and ass to hold him in place.
Izuku rolled his eyes. "Compared to this, that's going to be a cinch. Watch. We're going to blow it out of the water."
"You two already did that here," Ochako said with a grin, finally catching up from where Izuku had literally leapt away from her.
Kirishima laughed. "Yeah, man, give the rest of us a chance."
The others were slowly starting to appear, crowding around them and staring up at the screen. There were no names that had less than a passing score, and that was all that mattered.
And then there was Iida. "Have some decorum, you two! We are still on school grounds! Please get off of each other!"
Katsuki and Izuku looked him straight in the eyes as they sealed their mouths back together before closing their own in pure bliss. The rest of the class laughed as Iida screamed in frustration.
.....
Katsuki and Izuku bolted from the arena after the closing remarks had been given, forgoing changing their clothes in favor of hunting down Aizawa and All Might who had been babysitting Katsumi in the stadium seating. They found them just outside the front doors, holding Katsumi up between them as she bounced on her unsteady little legs to music someone was playing nearby. She saw them as soon as they saw her, and she screamed excitedly.
"Hi, baby, we're back," Izuku said, scooping her up against his chest and smothering her in kisses.
"How was the exam?" All Might asked, smiling at the sight.
"Fine. Shit was easy," Katsuki said, pulling off his glove to run his hand over Katsumi's hair. His hand was still sweaty, but sweat was better than the oil and blood he was still covered in. "We tied for first. Icy-hot didn't even come close."
Izuku pulled back to look at their teachers, but Katsumi had a hold of his bottom lip, so his voice was distorted when he said, "Come on, Todoroki did really well. Everyone did. No one failed, even in 3-B. We all passed with flying colors."
"Flying colors might be giving some of those idiots too much credit," Katsuki grumbled, carefully detaching Katsumi from Izuku's lip. He kissed her fingertips, and she tried to make a grab for his lip instead. "No, I don't think so, monster. I've got a cut on the inside of my lip and I don't need you sticking your finger in it."
"You two should go change," All Might suggested, but didn't move to take Katsumi back.
"Then find Recovery Girl and get something to eat. You still have the licensing exams tomorrow," Aizawa said, always pragmatic. Students were beginning to pour from the building, loud and boisterous with their victories. "We can hold onto her until your changed."
"'Kay," Izuku sighed, but neither moved. Once they got their hands back on their baby, it was always difficult to give her up again. "We'll just wait until everyone is out of the doorway. That way we don't have to force our way through them."
All Might laughed. "You're not fooling anyone, Young Midoriya."
"I know," he replied with a grin.
Katsuki, Izuku and their teachers watched the never ending stream of students. They hadn't been the only ones taking exams in the stadium, they'd just been the only ones in the open arena area.
They whispered as they passed, eyes glued to Izuku and Katsuki who were all but used to the attention by now. People usually didn't stare so hard though, and Katsuki's temper was beginning to rise with each whispered comment and pair of eyes blatantly staring at them.
"If one more mother fucker-" Katsuki started, but of course, there was someone else worse than all the other bystanders.
"Uh, Monoma, I wouldn't-"
Monoma cut Izuku off with a loud raucous laugh that startled Katsumi enough that she scowled. "Look at that cutie. So adorable for coming from the two of you. Guess you really are just a bitch in heat like I always thought. How hilarious! The top two students can't even keep it in their pants through high school! Teenage parents, what a disgrace!" He was laughing wildly as he pointed at them.
Everyone within hearing distance went stalk still as shock rippled through the crowd, and if Monoma hadn't been so close to them where Katsumi could get caught in the blast, Katsuki would have blown the whole area straight into the sky.
"Hey, man, not fucking cool," Kirishima snarled, more vicious than he ever was, latching onto the back of Monoma's neck.
Before he could pull the idiot away, Katsumi lunged out of Izuku's arms and bit down into Monoma's hand right in the meat below his thumb. "Katsumi!" Izuku cried, pulling her away as quickly as she had shot forward. A string of bloody saliva was connected to her mouth, but she just laughed. "Oh my god, where's the blood from?"
Monoma screamed, staring down at his hand as blood welled from four puncture marks. A bruise had already begun to bloom where her gums had chomped down.
"You're going to be a hero, shut up. That was totally unmanly," Kirishima growled, swinging Monoma towards the classes by the back of his neck, "Kendo! You out here! Can you come get this idiot?"
"Yeah! I'm over here!" Kendo called from the front of the students, waving her hand above her head.
"I'll take him over. Let's have a talk. Stop screaming," Aizawa grumbled, replacing Kirishima's hand and steering Monoma in her direction. To the rest of the students, he called, "Clear out! The show's over." Immediately, the crowd started to move again.
Kirishima crowded in beside Katsuki as Izuku set Katsumi down in her carrier. "Is she okay?" he asked.
Frantically, Izuku ripped off his gloves and pressed his thumbs to her lips. "Let Papa see you mouth baby. I've got to check to make sure you didn't hurt yourself." Katsumi opened her mouth, chomping down on his thumbs as he did his best to look in.
"Izuku! You're hands are dirty!" Katsuki snapped.
"I didn't think she was going to bite my thumbs!" Izuku shot back, but didn't move as he inspected her gums, "Look though, Kacchan."
"What?" Panic slid home in his chest, and he shoved up right against Izuku's shoulder to look into her mouth. Four sharp little points poked out of broken skin, two in her top gums and two in her bottom. "T-teeth. C-canines," Katsuki stuttered, unable to tear his eyes away, and then a groan slipped from his mouth, "Fuck me, this is going to make breast feeding so much worse."
Izuku laughed, pulling his thumbs out of her mouth, and her face scrunched up as she reached for his hands again. "Maybe, but wasn't it worth it to see her bite Monoma?"
Katsuki ran a hand down his face. "We'll find out in a few hours."
.....
The countdown to graduation was a flurry and blur of days after that. As Izuku had said, licensing exams were far easier than the practicals, and not a day later, they were all certified heroes.
Full boxes littered the dorm halls, and Aizawa had to break up more than one rowdy party in those few days.
The day of graduation left their dorm empty and silent as they filed out to make their way to the school.
Katsuki's arms felt uncomfortably empty. All Might had taken Katsumi to leave her with Mitsuki, Masaru and Inko somewhere in the crowd, but still, he was anxious without her. Beside him, Izuku threaded their fingers together, smiling.
Once the ceremony was done, and they'd followed the tide of students out the front gate, they stood off to the side while they waited for their parents to find them.
"It's kind of bittersweet and sad, you know," Izuku asked, staring longingly up at the gate, "We've spent three amazing years here, grown so much, and now its over. It's kind of scary."
Katsuki shrugged, looking over their classmates instead as they screamed and cried and jumped all over each other. "Maybe, but there's a whole lot better shit to look forward to. No more classes, no more training, just being the No.1 hero. Nothing can stop us now."
A grin slit Izuku's face. "Yeah, you're right." Izuku leaned in for a kiss, but sobbing bodies crashed into them both, and the moment was pushed for another time as they turned into the arms of their friends.

Diapering - Don’t lift the child to a changing table, if it can be helped. Do put a stool near the changing table so he can step up. Don’t sit next to him on the bed and twist towards him. Do try kneeling on a pillow in front of the bed with the child along the edge of the bed. Don’t lift baby’s legs but bend them towards the baby’s head. Nursing - Don’t nurse in side-lying after the first few weeks. It twists your body especially if you fall asleep in that position. After a few weeks when baby is an expert nurser, do try propping yourself up with several pillows and have the baby on his belly across your belly. As he gets older his knees will reach the bed. This position also helps get out burps. Don’t lean towards the baby to nurse. Do bring the baby toward the nipple. Use a pillow or the arm of a chair or couch or in a pinch your knee.
Holding the baby - Don’t hold baby on one hip. If you have to, do change sides periodically, tighten your belly and stay as straight as possible, don’t jut out your hip. It will make one hip higher than the other and cause all kinds of back problems. Do use a baby carrier or sling to divide the weight evenly. Shopping - Do put the baby in the shopping cart. If there isn’t a baby seat and baby can hold her head upright, stick a coat or some potatoes on both sides of baby to hold her upright. When loading or unloading, do keep the shopping bag as close to you as possible. Pull the bag towards yourself before you lift it. Don’t carry heavy bags in one hand. It’s better to carry 2 lighter bags in 2 hands. Car seat - Do let the child do what he can to crawl up into the car seat herself, even if it takes a little longer and she needs a little support from mom. If you have to lift, do lift only to the edge of the car seat and slide baby inward and reverse. Only lift from the edge of the car seat. Don’t ever lift those detachable car seats with one hand with the baby inside. It’s a big strain on your back. Use two hands. Want to get more tips, please visit MoveMyPainAway.com

An Ice Cream Kinda Day (Brotherly Distaste AU)
A/N: Woo! This is the longest drabble for this AU yet! I'm pretty proud of it :) Roman's not in this one, though, sorry... Wanna focus the next one somewhat on him.
Pairings: Familial DLAMP/LAMPD
Words: 1,125
Summary: Patton hasn't been called in to Logan's school like this before. Logan doesn't expect forgiveness.
************
Patton raised an eyebrow, shifting from holding a 10-month-old Dee on one hip to the other as he pinned his phone between his shoulder and his ear. “Of course, yes, I'll be right there.”
Dee reached towards his face, and he gave the toddler a smile.
“Alright, ‘bye,” he ended the conversation, hanging up the phone.
“Okie-dokie, DeeDee,” Patton proclaimed, trying not to let the concern seep into his voice, “looks like we need to swing by your big brother's school for a bit.” He looked over to where Virgil was sat on the kitchen floor playing with a puzzle. “Come on, Virgil, we need to go see Logan.”
Virgil perked up at that, the puzzle forgotten as he stood and reached for Patton's hand. Pat quickly slipped his phone into his pocket so he could take the four-year-old's hand, then walked them to the car.
Securing Dee and Virgil into their carseats always proved to be the hardest part of driving them anywhere. Today, though, they seemed to sense some tension Patton didn't know he'd let on about, and they were oddly compliant. Not that Patton was complaining.
It was as he began to drive that he let the worry overtake him. He'd gotten calls from Roman's school, sure, but not Logan's. Is Logan in trouble? Did he break some sort of rule? That doesn't sound like him… Oh, dear heavens, what if he's hurt?!
He was shaken from these thoughts when the car behind him honked their horn, and he jumped. The light had turned green. Unfortunately, the loud noise had startled Virgil, who still wasn't used to being able to hear things so sharply with his new hearing aids.
He began to cry, which invariably would make Dee cry, so Patton sighed and pulled into a parking lot just as both of them broke into full-on wails.
Pat parked and got out, going first to Virgil's side of the car. Usually, if he could get Virgil to stop, Dee would too. He carefully extricated him from his car seat and pulled him into his arms, then began pacing with a slight bounce in his step. “Shhh, Virgil, it's okay, you're okay, I'm here… Deep breaths, okay? Breathe with me…” Patton began taking deep breaths, humming softly to calm the toddler.
It took maybe three minutes for Virgil to stop crying and fall asleep. As Patton placed him gently back in his car seat and caringly buckled him in, he breathed a sigh of relief and ran his hands over his face. Dee was still whimpering and squirming in his seat, but he had calmed some and was continuing to do so.
Patton grabbed tissues and cleaned up both of the boys faces, took a few more deep breaths, and got back in the driver's seat.
When he finally got to the school, his two youngest were both sound asleep in the backseat. He decided to go ahead and detach Dee's baby-carrier-carseat from the seat of the car, carrying that with one hand and holding Virgil in the opposite arm. It was a hassle getting in, but soon he had made it into the school office.
Logan sat in a chair in the corner, hands shoved in his jacket pockets and head down. He looked up for only a moment before shifting his gaze back to the floor.
Patton sighed, glanced at Remy, who happened to be the school secretary, apologetically. Remy waved him on with a smile, and Patton went over to Logan. “Would you mind holding Virgil for a second, Sweetheart?”
Logan looked surprised, confused, and somewhat relieved. Patton's eyes and tone of voice said I'm not mad at you. It wasn't what Logan was expecting, but he was grateful as he took Virgil from him.
Virgil snuggled into Logan's chest, still asleep, as Patton went over to Remy.
“What happened?” he asked quietly as Remy passed him a visitor's form to fill out. He set Dee's baby carrier down at his feet and began to fill it out.
“I wouldn't worry too much, Pat,” Remy answered.
Patton sighed softly, but just nodded in response and changed the subject. “Will you take Dee while I talk to Emile, then?”
Remy chuckled and held out his arms in response. “Of course I'll hold the baby. He's like, practically my nephew.”
Patton laughed along with him, put a bit more at ease.
That was when Emile Picani poked his head out of his office, waving at Patton. “Hey, Pat.”
“Hi, Emile,” Patton said, giving him a somewhat strained smile. Logan turned away from both his foster parent and his school counselor, hugging Virgil a little closer to his chest.
Emile beckoned, and Patton followed him into his office, sitting down on the soft fluffy couch across from Emile's rolly chair. His shoulders were tense until Emile gave him an understanding smile.
“You're gonna be so proud, Pat,” said Emile. “I know that Virgil's hearing problem was only just addressed. Logan was standing up for a hard of hearing classmate who some other kids were picking on.”
Fire flashed in Patton's eyes, but Emile held a hand up.
“The situation did end up turning physical. It seems he has some pent-up anger. Like Zuko.” Here, Patton nodded understandingly. “The other kids are being suspended, but this is Logan's first offense and–” Emile leaned in conspiratorially, “he was in the right here. I'm just going to give him a day of detention, nothing that will go on his permanent record, alright?”
Patton relaxed again and nodded. “Thanks, Emile.”
“It's what I'd do for any of my kids. I think you should take him home for the rest of today. I'll write a note to excuse the absence, and you can just take him home and let him cool down some.”
Patton smiled and stood, then pulled Emile into a hug as soon as he was standing as well. “I expect to see you and Remy at our house for dinner tomorrow night,” Patton chided playfully as he pulled away.
Emile grinned. “Wouldn't miss it for the world.”
************
Logan shifted uncomfortably in the passenger seat, glancing back at the two boys asleep in their carseats.
“Logan?”
Logan winced. “Yes, Patton...?”
Patton sighed, but didn't tell him again that he could call him Dad. “I'm not mad at you.”
Logan seemed slightly surprised at that, yet again. “You're not…?”
Patton shook his head, wanting to look over at Logan, but instead keeping his eyes on the road. “I'm a little disappointed you got in a fight, but I'm proud of you for standing up for the other kid, okay?”
The corner of Logan's lip twitched up, just slightly. “Alright.”
Patton smiled. “Now, do you want some ice cream? It's just been an ice cream kinda day.”
Logan laughed. “I am inclined to agree with you.”

OC Backstory Week 1: Introduction
Attempting @yourocsbackstory‘s weekly prompts to dive a little deeper into Myghal’s backstory. Myghal is a protagonist in my Sci Fi Wip The Womb
Myghal entangled his wrist in the ceiling strap, the other too busy holding his guts in to help keep his footing. His eyes screwed shut; angry, hurt, betrayed. If he lived through this, he might actually develop a grudge.
A whimper in the carrier reminded him he wasn’t alone.
The cargo hold was filled with children, large eyed Homorr younglings who huddled atop benches where mobile infantry usually sat. They sniffled, covering their faces and tapping nails against their leathery, armored hides. Even with the war over, the fighting stretched out as legions failed to surrender. Because of it, homes and villages were still being lost. These Morrlings were all that was left of their village, and Myghal all that was left of his detachment.
“You’re not Homorr,” A tiny voice strained over the rattle of the carrier. The Morrlings stared at him, jewel like eyes catching every bit of dim light. They looked so different than the Commander. The one speaking was somewhat older than the rest, crown of horns just long enough to begin twisting. “My name is Ayak, who are you?”
“I’m a soldier,” Myghal marveled at how relaxed the Morrling was; more curious than frightened.
“You’re a Homorr soldier, but you are not Homorr?”
“No, I’m a kelt,” The carrier lurched, jerking pain causing Myghal to lose his hold. His knees and an elbow caught him from landing on his face, arm wrapping about his middle feeling more blood run from between his armor plates.
“Soldier,” Ayak cried, pulling at Myghal’s shoulder as if they were all that was holding him up, “are you hurt?” The carrier continued to bump along, rattling louder now. Having not crashed, Myghal suspected the payload they were outrunning had begun to fall. Before he could warn Ayak to sit back down, the others hurried from their seats with frightened whines.
“It’ll be alright,” Myghal grunted onto a hip, leaning back against a bench as they crowded around. Most had their eyes shut, hands over their frilled ears to help block out the strain and rumble of the carrier.
“Do soldiers have names?” Ayak continued to remain oblivious to the situation, hand latched around the armor’s shoulder plate as he sat down.
“My name is Myghal.”
“Ah, you see? Now I have something to call you.” Myghal nodded, opening a compartment on the side of his thigh for the laser suture. “Is this a wound?”
“A little one.”
“Is it from a fight with the invaders?” Myghal nodded, unlatching his upper armor from his shoulders. Prying the front piece off he placed it on the bench, jolting as the Morrlings leaned closer to study the wound and his blood.
“Uh, let’s not… let’s not touch that stuff,” he carefully guided them back, a few of them trying to inspect his blood. They watched as he peeled back his slit suit, using the suture to close the laceration. It burned, stinging, gritting his teeth instead of grimacing. The Morrlings were scared enough as it was.
“And now you do not have a wound?” Ayak leaned closer again, sniffing. “Are all kelts this amazing? That’s what you said, yes? A kelt?” Myghal nodded, setting the suture aside to rest for a moment. “What is a kelt? Where do you come from?”
“A kelt is a Human, and I’m from many different places.”
“Can you tell us?” another Morrling asked, all of them watching him closely as if they had forgotten the carrier, the bombs, the war.
Myghal smiled, “alright, I’ll tell you.”

Do You Use A Baby Carrier?
Carriers are a 50/50 shot. Its either the mom or the baby who has an issue with them. Thankfully that is not my case. My little one loves them and so do I. I had decided early on that I wanted to get him comfortable in carriers because sometimes strollers are not ideal, especially during the holiday season. I worked retail for about 5 years and worked almost every Thanksgiving weekend and I have seen some moms come in with their strollers and just take up isles for no reason. Sometimes they don’t even have their children in the strollers.
I have three structured carriers that I use frequently. I will be going over the types of carriers and their pros and cons about them all. Don’t worry I will be placing pictures in them as well so you can see what they look like.
Infantino Flip 4-in-1 Carrier
This was one of the first carriers I used, and to be honest I didn’t use it until my little one was about one month old. This one is currently going for $33 on Amazon.
What I love about this is that it is pretty lightweight for a structured carrier. It can be worn on the front and on your back as well and baby is able to face you or outward.
A few things I find an issue but nothing major, I mean I would still buy again. First thing is the support on it, it doesn’t really have any cushion for your lower back so if I wear him for to long I can fill it pulling. When he was smaller probably the first three months I never
had an issue but as he got bigger thats when it became an issue.
Now he us rushing ten months and I still put him in around the house but only for brief periods. The other thing is if you look closer on the picture by the head there is little button, that is all there is to bring that head support down, and honestly the head support isn’t all that strong. I felt that when he would sleep I still need to hold his head because it didn’t really keep it in place. I definitely liked it for around the house for me, and it is something I wouldn’t mind having for the next baby.
The buckles It has on the front are really great, especially when they fall asleep, I just lean forward and unbuckle it and he slides out right onto the bed, no hassle of trying to pull him up and out with the risk of waking him up.
FRUITEAM Carrier
The second carrier I want to talk about is the FRUITEAM 6-in-1 carrier. Now this one is the bulkiest of all mine and because of that I use it for walking. I know your probably thinking that they all for walking and they are, but what I mean is when I go for walks around the neighborhood, on hikes type of thing. The reason I choose to use this one for that purpose is simply because of the seat it has. It pulls a lot of weight off of my lower back as well as my shoulders.
This carrier has two pockets, one on the waist band and the other is actually on the front of the carrier, that one comes and goes. Where the front pocket is it actually comes down and it allows for more air to go through, great for the summer so baby gets some breeze.
This one does not have buckles to release the baby, in fact you would have to loosen up the straps and then lift baby out. It took me some time. To figure this out and actually get it down without waking up baby. It does come with a detachable cover for the child and the harness portion of it comes off so you can wear it as just a hip carrier for the larger babies or toddlers. It doesn’t really compact its I believe styrofoam for the seat so it stays bulky. Hence the reason I use it for my walking trips since I don’t have to worry about fitting it under my stroller or in the bag.
I do believe that this carrier is around $50, and it does come in several colors.
Oh one other thing I forgot to mention was the strap that goes across your back is adjustable, and I don’t mean in the normal sense, I mean you can raise it up or down depending where on your back you want it to sit. Like for me since I am smaller I wear it as tight as I can at the very top, my husband likes it slightly lower more in the middle, which I thought was pretty cool, especially if you wear the child on your back so this strap is across your chest.
Graco Cradle Me 4-in-1 Carrier
This carrier is bulkier then my Infarction and it does feel slightly heavier than the two, even with the other one having a seat, but this is the one I love to leave in the car and use in stores.
So this one has three different buckles and all three are adjustable. Two sit on the body and the third is actually up on the top wear his head sits and that is more for how high and low he sits on you as well as the comfort for their arms.
It has the back strap as well. This one comes with a cover but it is not removable, and it does not have any pockets. When I wear this one on the front I can feel it pull on my shoulders. I would like to point out that my little one is
is almost ten months old. This can be worn on your back and I feel that does help with some of the pressure. The lower back strap gas a cushion of some sort so it is not just the straw digging into your back.
I like to use this one when going to stores because its hold him closer to my body and when he sleeps I don’t feel like his hide moves to much. Where the Graco logo is it can fold downward to allow for better movement of the head and when up it hold their head in place so even when bending forward to pick something up you don’t have to worry about their head falling back.
This one is of course pricier than the others. It’s going for about $170 on Amazon.
I love my carriers and I personally did not pay for them, registry people and my sister gave me hers that her daughter didn’t like anymore.
Since put my son in them at a very young age he loves them. He doesn’t fight me when I put them in 95% of the time that is. Don’t get me wrong there are times when he would rather crawl and be mobile than being worn. He is content in them, he will fall asleep in them and I have even nursed in them. Nursing is tricky for me because I don’t really wear nursing tops so I have to readjust him as well as my shirt and its a hassle. If you have nursing tops with a more easier access then great I don’t see there too much of an issue for you.
I do feel that people are either wraps or structured carriers. Now I know some may have both I do, but I have a preference and others do as well. Your choice in carrier is your choice nothing wrong with that, so I do not see the need to be saying one is more superiors. My reason is simply because I just do not feel secure in them, I feel my little one will fall out no matter how tight I have it. Like I said though that is just me and my thoughts.
I would like to hear your stories on why you chose a carrier and what type, or why you chose against them?
