The Fall of Jerusalem Recounted
Zedekiah was twenty-one years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem eleven years. His mother’s name was Hamutal daughter of Jeremiah; she was from Libnah.
And Zedekiah did evil in the sight of the LORD, just as Jehoiakim had done. For because of the anger of the LORD, all this happened in Jerusalem and Judah, until He finally banished them from His presence.
And Zedekiah also rebelled against the king of Babylon.
So in the ninth year of Zedekiah’s reign, on the tenth day of the tenth month, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon marched against Jerusalem with his entire army. They encamped outside the city and built a siege wall all around it. And the city was kept under siege until King Zedekiah’s eleventh year.
By the ninth day of the fourth month, the famine in the city was so severe that the people of the land had no food. Then the city was breached; and though the Chaldeans had surrounded the city, all the men of war fled the city by night by way of the gate between the two walls near the king’s garden.
They headed toward the Arabah, but the army of the Chaldeans pursued the king and overtook Zedekiah in the plains of Jericho, and all his army was separated from him.
The Chaldeans seized the king and brought him up to the king of Babylon at Riblah in the land of Hamath, where he pronounced judgment on Zedekiah.
There at Riblah the king of Babylon slaughtered the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes, and he also killed all the officials of Judah. Then he put out Zedekiah’s eyes, bound him with bronze shackles, and took him to Babylon, where he kept him in custody until his dying day.
On the tenth day of the fifth month, in the nineteenth year of Nebuchadnezzar’s reign over Babylon, Nebuzaradan captain of the guard, a servant of the king of Babylon, entered Jerusalem. He burned down the house of the LORD, the royal palace, and all the houses of Jerusalem—every significant building. And the whole army of the Chaldeans under the captain of the guard broke down all the walls around Jerusalem.
Then Nebuzaradan captain of the guard carried into exile some of the poorest people and those who remained in the city, along with the deserters who had defected to the king of Babylon and the rest of the craftsmen. But Nebuzaradan captain of the guard left behind some of the poorest of the land to tend the vineyards and fields.
Moreover, the Chaldeans broke up the bronze pillars and stands and the bronze Sea in the house of the LORD, and they carried all the bronze to Babylon. They also took away the pots, shovels, wick trimmers, sprinkling bowls, dishes, and all the articles of bronze used in the temple service. The captain of the guard also took away the basins, censers, sprinkling bowls, pots, lampstands, pans, and drink offering bowls—anything made of pure gold or fine silver.
As for the two pillars, the Sea, the twelve bronze bulls under it, and the movable stands that King Solomon had made for the house of the LORD, the weight of the bronze from all these articles was beyond measure. Each pillar was eighteen cubits tall and twelve cubits in circumference; each was hollow, four fingers thick. The bronze capital atop one pillar was five cubits high, with a network of bronze pomegranates all around. The second pillar, with its pomegranates, was similar. Each capital had ninety-six pomegranates on the sides, and a total of a hundred pomegranates were above the surrounding network.
The captain of the guard also took away Seraiah the chief priest, Zephaniah the priest of second rank, and the three doorkeepers. Of those still in the city, he took a court official who had been appointed over the men of war, as well as seven trusted royal advisers. He also took the scribe of the captain of the army, who had enlisted the people of the land, and sixty men who were found in the city.
Nebuzaradan captain of the guard took them and brought them to the king of Babylon at Riblah. There at Riblah in the land of Hamath, the king of Babylon struck them down and put them to death. So Judah was taken into exile, away from its own land.
These are the people Nebuchadnezzar carried away:
in the seventh year, 3,023 Jews;
in Nebuchadnezzar’s eighteenth year, 832 people from Jerusalem;
in Nebuchadnezzar’s twenty-third year, Nebuzaradan captain of the guard carried away 745 Jews.
So in all, 4,600 people were taken away.
On the twenty-fifth day of the twelfth month of the thirty-seventh year of the exile of Jehoiachin king of Judah, in the first year of the reign of Evil-merodach king of Babylon, he pardoned Jehoiachin king of Judah and released him from prison. And he spoke kindly to Jehoiachin and set his throne above the thrones of the other kings who were with him in Babylon.
So Jehoiachin changed out of his prison clothes, and he dined regularly at the king’s table for the rest of his life. And the king of Babylon provided Jehoiachin a daily portion for the rest of his life, until the day of his death. — Jeremiah 52 | The Reader’s Bible (BRB) The Reader’s Bible © 2020 by Bible Hub and Berean.Bible. "Yeah you're right." And it was never easy for Sonic to admit Jet was right about anything. But he had actually respected his skills too. "I took the title because i beat you i don't deny that is what happened and yes i'm not a Babylon. I don't know about you or anything about being a Babylon. But it doesn't mean i wanted to be the reason you are angry and can't show up back home." Again Sonic couldn't help but try being kinder - to see it from the other's point of view. "I don't go easy in any race next time or you'll kill me for sure." Turning away now to avoid Jet own reactions or words. "Thought you hated me anyway.." A mutter awkwardly. he would not admit he saw Jet as the only fastest Babylon he did rule the skies and it wasnt fair Sonic took that away from hin. Any anger he had originally felt towards Jet was gone.
The Babylon didn't respond as he turned away from Sonic mostly because he didn't want to make amends. He liked having a reason to be angry, and let his rage push him to new heights. In a way Sonic beating him made him go beyond what he was capable of. Pushed him to be better far better then he ever was. But the shame of losing followed him like a dark shadow--- his Father would never let him live it down.
" Sonic, you don't get it--- Before you came along i ... was the King of the Skies! no one could touch me... no one could hope to match me! race after race i was King... hell i never even tried..."
He clenched his fists tightly as he locked eyes with sonic.
" But then you came along... and i pushed myself to my limits! and beyond! but there you were, born with a natural talent far beyond my own! and no amount of training could ever hope to close the gap between us! ... and it was made painfully clear the day you crushed m in that race... "
" Do you know what that's like--- to realize to your shock and horror that no matter how hard you try you CAN never catch up! The Prince of the Babylon's! forever in the god damn shadow! of some clown pretending to be hero! you got no idea what that is like for me!?! what it meant to me! to be on top, and be knocked off by some blue boyscout! My pride was all i had left! and all i could think about was BEATING YOU! "
He sighed glancing off to one side as if letting his momentary rage go.
" ... But then the War happened... Infinite came along--- it became less about me and... shit just snowballed after. Here i was running secret missions for Knuckles... gaining intel where i could... ya know watching the world burn sure changes your perspective... "
He placed a hand on his hip
" Then the Zombots... fuck that was just messed the fuck up... like what the hell was i suppose to do? Never felt so damn helpless... So when amy called--- fuck i couldn't just say yes. Had to make it hard for her but maybe i shouldn't have... what ever--- "
" What ever anger i had for you died a long time ago... you still took something from me though. One day i want that back--- but i have to do it my way... No tricks, no games... no under handed bullshit, just me and you and the sky is the limit... so no i dun hate you... "

2 Kings 24: Jehoiakim Becomes Nebuchadnezzar's Vassal After Being Invaded By Babylon
1 During Jehoiakim’s reign, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon invaded the land, and Jehoiakim became his vassal for three years. But then he turned against Nebuchadnezzar and rebelled.
2 The Lord sent Babylonian, Aramean, Moabite and Ammonite raiders against him to destroy Judah, in accordance with the word of the Lord proclaimed by his servants the prophets.
3 Surely these things happened to Judah according to the Lord’s command, in order to remove them from his presence because of the sins of Manasseh and all he had done,
4 including the shedding of innocent blood. For he had filled Jerusalem with innocent blood, and the Lord was not willing to forgive.
5 As for the other events of Jehoiakim’s reign, and all he did, are they not written in the book of the annals of the kings of Judah?
6 Jehoiakim rested with his ancestors. And Jehoiachin his son succeeded him as king.
7 The king of Egypt did not march out from his own country again, because the king of Babylon had taken all his territory, from the Wadi of Egypt to the Euphrates River.
Jehoiachin King of Judah
8 Jehoiachin was eighteen years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem three months. His mother’s name was Nehushta daughter of Elnathan; she was from Jerusalem.
9 He did evil in the eyes of the Lord, just as his father had done.
10 At that time the officers of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon advanced on Jerusalem and laid siege to it,
11 and Nebuchadnezzar himself came up to the city while his officers were besieging it.
12 Jehoiachin king of Judah, his mother, his attendants, his nobles and his officials all surrendered to him.
In the eighth year of the reign of the king of Babylon, he took Jehoiachin prisoner.
13 As the Lord had declared, Nebuchadnezzar removed the treasures from the temple of the Lord and from the royal palace, and cut up the gold articles that Solomon king of Israel had made for the temple of the Lord.
14 He carried all Jerusalem into exile: all the officers and fighting men, and all the skilled workers and artisans—a total of ten thousand. Only the poorest people of the land were left.
15 Nebuchadnezzar took Jehoiachin captive to Babylon. He also took from Jerusalem to Babylon the king’s mother, his wives, his officials and the prominent people of the land.
16 The king of Babylon also deported to Babylon the entire force of seven thousand fighting men, strong and fit for war, and a thousand skilled workers and artisans.
17 He made Mattaniah, Jehoiachin’s uncle, king in his place and changed his name to Zedekiah.
Zedekiah King of Judah
18 Zedekiah was twenty-one years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem eleven years. His mother’s name was Hamutal daughter of Jeremiah; she was from Libnah.
19 He did evil in the eyes of the Lord, just as Jehoiakim had done.
20 It was because of the Lord’s anger that all this happened to Jerusalem and Judah, and in the end he thrust them from his presence.
The Fall of Jerusalem
Now Zedekiah rebelled against the king of Babylon.

Babylon is Destroyed
Revelation 19:1-21 Jesus judges the Harlot 19 After these things I heard a loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, saying, “Alleluia! Salvation and glory and honor and power belong to the Lord our God! 2 For true and righteous are His judgments, because He has judged the great harlot who corrupted the earth with her fornication; and He has avenged on her the blood of His servants shed by her.”…

Restoration for Israel
1 But the Lord will take pity on Jacob and again choose Israel, and will settle them on their own land; foreigners will join them and attach themselves to the house of Jacob. 2 The nations will take them and bring them to their place, and the house of Israel will possess them as male and female slaves on the Lord’s land; they will take captive their captors and rule over their oppressors.
Downfall of the King of Babylon
3 On the day when the Lord gives you rest from your sorrow and turmoil, from the hard service with which you served, 4 you will take up this taunt-song against the king of Babylon:
How the oppressor has come to an end! how the turmoil has ended! 5 The Lord has broken the rod of the wicked, the staff of the tyrants 6 That struck the peoples in wrath with relentless blows; That ruled the nations in anger, with boundless persecution. 7 The whole earth rests peacefully, song breaks forth; 8 The very cypresses rejoice over you, the cedars of Lebanon: “Now that you are laid to rest, no one comes to cut us down.” 9 Below, Sheol is all astir preparing for your coming; Awakening the shades to greet you, all the leaders of the earth; Making all the kings of the nations rise from their thrones. 10 All of them speak out and say to you, “You too have become weak like us, you are just like us! 11 Down to Sheol your pomp is brought, the sound of your harps. Maggots are the couch beneath you, worms your blanket.” 12 How you have fallen from the heavens, O Morning Star, son of the dawn! How you have been cut down to the earth, you who conquered nations! 13 In your heart you said: “I will scale the heavens; Above the stars of God I will set up my throne; I will take my seat on the Mount of Assembly, on the heights of Zaphon. 14 I will ascend above the tops of the clouds; I will be like the Most High!” 15 No! Down to Sheol you will be brought to the depths of the pit! 16 When they see you they will stare, pondering over you: “Is this the man who made the earth tremble, who shook kingdoms? 17 Who made the world a wilderness, razed its cities, and gave captives no release?” 18 All the kings of the nations lie in glory, each in his own tomb; 19 But you are cast forth without burial, like loathsome carrion, Covered with the slain, with those struck by the sword, a trampled corpse, Going down to the very stones of the pit. 20 You will never be together with them in the grave, For you have ruined your land, you have slain your people! Let him never be named, that offshoot of evil! 21 Make ready to slaughter his sons for the guilt of their fathers; Lest they rise and possess the earth, and fill the breadth of the world with cities.
22 I will rise up against them, says the Lord of hosts, and cut off from Babylon name and remnant, progeny and offspring, says the Lord. 23 I will make it a haunt of hoot owls and a marshland; I will sweep it with the broom of destruction, oracle of the Lord of hosts.
God’s Plan for Assyria
24 The Lord of hosts has sworn: As I have resolved, so shall it be; As I have planned, so shall it stand: 25 To break the Assyrian in my land and trample him on my mountains; Then his yoke shall be removed from them, and his burden from their shoulder. 26 This is the plan proposed for the whole earth, and this the hand outstretched over all the nations. 27 The Lord of hosts has planned; who can thwart him? His hand is stretched out; who can turn it back?
Philistia
28 In the year that King Ahaz died, there came this oracle:
29 Do not rejoice, Philistia, not one of you, that the rod which struck you is broken; For out of the serpent’s root shall come an adder, its offspring shall be a flying saraph. 30 In my pastures the poor shall graze, and the needy lie down in safety; But I will kill your root with famine that shall slay even your remnant. 31 Howl, O gate; cry out, O city! Philistia, all of you melts away! For there comes a smoke from the north, without a straggler in its ranks. 32 What will one answer the messengers of the nations? “The Lord has established Zion, and in her the afflicted of his people find refuge.” — Isaiah 14 | New American Bible Revised Edition (NABRE) The New American Bible, Revised edition © 2010, 1991, 1986, 1970 Confraternity of Christian Doctrine, Inc. The Haitian Blood Libel that is coming from the republicans and conservatives is so disgusting.
Caribbean folk are one of the most hardest working and educated immigrants this babylon country has ever known. Haiti gave birth to the concept of Freedom to the new World.
The country was severely punished and stifled for having the audacity to end slavery. We would not be where we are right now if Haiti had not changed the course of history.
Even in the present day, self determination of Haiti is stifled by the west. Farmland destroyed, environment destroyed, food sources wiped out, any attempt of liberal change stamped out, election interference, military invasion, the exploitation of people. They got rid of the country’s infrastructure so the people are forced to be dependent on foreign aid, and then they let foreign aid providers like the UN commit crimes from rape to theft to fraud.
If you are an American, you owe the Haitians. You owe them for what this government has done to them. You owe them for starting the wave of independence throughout the new world.

If you ask a non-jew what is the symbol of a Jewish wedding they will say it's breaking a glass. But why?
What you don't know is that when the groom breaks the glass the couple are already married. The rabbi has technically already pronounced them husband and wife (though there isn't really that part in a Jewish wedding).
The glass is crushed to represent the grief of the destruction of the temple. The groom says "If I forget you Jerusalem may my right hand be lost, may my tongue stick to the roof of my mouth if I don't remember you and don't put Jerusalem at the top of my joy" (my translation) Even at the happiest event of our lives we will always remember Jerusalem and Zion (i.e Israel) and how it was destroyed and how we were exiled from it. Then and only then, you may kiss the bride.
The verse is from the same psalm that starts with "By the rivers of Babylon, there we sat down, yea, we wept, when we remembered Zion"
This has been Jewish tradition for over 2,000 years and it doesn't matter if it was Jews in Europe, Africa, Asia - we always yearned to return to the land of Israel.
So if you say we aren't indiginous to the land of Israel or that we have no claim to the land, you need to educate yourself.
