Chapter Eleven

In the first moment, you're unsure how to react, realizing that Jungkook won't let go of your hand. Your eyes are fixed on him, as if you want to convey to him to step back. However, he seems unwilling to let you go. You wonder why he still wants to be close to you, especially since he ended your connection.

"Let me go, Jungkook. Go back to your party, and do me a favor by keeping the volume down. I don't want to involve the police in this." You speak firmly, pulling your hand away from his. Unsuccessful, you huff, looking at Jungkook with an angry glare as he watches you with a smile.

"I thought our thing would be over once the call ended, but it seems you and I have a lot of unresolved tension." Jungkook says, getting closer to you. He stares at you face to face, as if trying to provoke you.

"You think this is tension? I'll show you what tension is." You say seconds before stomping on Jungkook's foot with all your strength. The pained groan he lets out almost makes you feel sorry for him. However, you quickly manage to break free from him and open the door to your apartment. Unfortunately, he manages to recover in time to enter in your apartment with you.

"That was unnecessary." He murmurs while he looks at you with a victorious expression, even though he appears to be in pain. You look at him indignantly at his audacity.

"As if you know what is necessary or not. You just barged into my apartment uninvited. After proving to be a..." You pause for a few seconds, contemplating how to describe Jungkook in the moment.

"Being an adult and single man? Sorry if our connection misled you, but we're not married." He says very clearly. You can't deny that realizing you probably only meant something to him while you were connected hurts a bit. But he's right, at least in that part.

"That doesn't give you the right to be intrusive. If you want to party, hook up with others, or whatever the hell, that's not my problem. But this loud music in the middle of the night, while I'm trying to sleep to go to work early, is something I can and will complain about." Your gaze locks with Jungkook's as if you're ready to shut down any of his arguments.

"Are you sure that's what bothers you? Isn't it the fact that I moved on? Or that I ended what we had between us?" Jungkook retorts, smiling smugly at you.

"Don't make me laugh. There was never anything between us for you to end. We just fooled ourselves for a few days, but the truth is, we never had anything." You look at him seriously while resisting the urge to kiss him. It seems that your connection still has some effects on you.

"If that's the case, why do you still want me? Why do you want to be near me, to the point of crashing my party?" He speaks in a condescending tone. You then approach him, as if wanting to make him realize that he invaded your apartment as well.

"Screw you, Jungkook. I didn't go to your party looking for you. I went looking for peace, for the chance of having a good night's sleep. Can't you see that you came after me too? And why would I ruin the party of someone who already means nothing to me?" You smile as you see Jungkook seeming to realize the situation. In the end, both of you end up being as foolish as the other.

"Why don't you try facing reality, princess? You and I like each other, with or without the connection. The difference is, without the connection, we're allowed to like other people too." He speaks, staring at you, surprising you with his words.

"Are you telling me that you ended our connection to like other people?" You're almost speechless. Deep down, you always thought he gave up on you because of your closeness with Taehyung.

"I wasn't born to be tied to one person, Y/N. The expectations, responsibilities, and duties of a committed person don't appeal to me." Jungkook speaks with a confidence that almost makes you want to laugh in his face. So in the universe, precisely a man with commitment issues became your soulmate?

"I have to thank you. If you weren't so self-centered and selfish, I would actually be stuck with my worst nightmare. Thank you for freeing me from you." you say, getting very close to him, as if wanting to make your feelings clear. A slight mischievous smile appears on Jungkook's face, leaving you puzzled.

"You should thank me for freeing you from responsibility. You don't want to be only with me, and I know it. I'll even accept it. I made it possible for you to be with Taehyung without feeling guilty." You don't know how to react to what he's saying. In reality, it's hard for you to concentrate on what he's saying while he's so close. You're seconds away from getting lost in Jungkook's gaze.

"You must think I'm foolish. Do you think I don't know that you did this so you could be with anyone without worrying about me?" You speak, trying to compose yourself, taking a step back while attempting to appear confident.

"The only person I want to be with right now is you. Even if you hardly believe that." Your eyes meet, as if for a moment, all the tension between you two becomes immeasurable.

"You're right about that. I don't believe anything you're saying..." You say it almost in a whisper, trying not to lose your train of thought, but it's too late. Surprising both of you, you end up kissing Jungkook. Without a concrete explanation, your body approached his, and your lips moved toward his. A very brief kiss. You kiss him as if kissing a forbidden fruit. But quickly, you pull back from the kiss you initiated. It's as if you're waiting for his reaction to figure out what to do next.

"You say one thing and do another. Your luck is that your madness makes me extremely excited." Jungkook says, kissing you with more intensity. It seems like he's wanting to lose himself in you, or maybe even find himself in you. You reciprocate the kiss, feeling butterflies in your stomach. It's as if it makes you feel alive, even though you know that you and Jungkook definitely aren't right for each other.

Unfortunately, you're interrupted by a female voice knocking on the door, yelling for Jungkook — you then feel like the world is calling you back to reality. You step away from Jungkook, feeling awkward, while he seems a bit regretful. You just don't know if he regrets the kiss or his party.

"I believe that's your irresponsibilities calling you. After all, you weren't born to be tied to anyone." You say, a mix of sarcasm and a hint of bitterness in your voice. Jungkook seems hesitant, unsure if he should stay or leave. When the woman yells again, he decides to leave your apartment. Without saying anything, he just looks at you, as if wanting to convey something. You then decide to go lie down, even though you might not be able to sleep due to the noise and the fact that you kissed Jungkook after spending the night with Taehyung. You have no idea what this means emotionally for you.

I'm back with another fanfic titled The Boundless Sphere of Fate, a Taemin Fic I've started writing in August 2023 and completed somewhere in December 2023 as a Christmas gift for my best friend @dani-less.

The protagonist of the story is called Blair, a made-up character with some unfortunate circumstances that you'll get to see as the story progresses.

The story itself is based on the red strings of fate theory. For whoever is not familiar with this theory, Wikipedia says: "The two people connected by the red thread are destined lovers, regardless of place, time, or circumstances. This magical cord may stretch or tangle, but never break. This myth is similar to the Western concept of soulmate or a destined partner."

It will be a pretty short fic, with only about 20k words, but hopefully you will enjoy it nonetheless and have fun reading it.

Take Me Back to Eden

Art is by the absolutely lovely @/nagunkgunk here on Tumblr. It's finally time to post their story which will be in 4 arcs. This is the masterpost for the entire project. All parts will be linked here and will be included on my Destiny masterlist post as well. The triggers are for the entire story arc but each individual chapter will be tagged with the triggers within.

Take Me Back to Eden - Arc 1

This arc takes place back when Siobhan was known as Selene Corinnj and before Uldren became Crow. Two damaged people looking to survive and forge a connection, but each using the other for their own gains. It's not a healthy type of love and they are the definition of 'they make each other worse not better' but they'd take a bullet for one another. This arc ends with Selene's death and Uldren struggling to overcome the internal wounds her death left on him.

Take Me Back to Eden - Arc 2

Siobhan wakes up as a Guardian with no memories of her past life. Her first encounter is with another pair of Guardians that take her under their wing. Emyr and Jareth. She forges an incredible bond with the two Guardians, and falls head over heels for Emyr. Theirs is a passionate, loving, and intense relationship. Burning as bright as the sun. But all bright light fades eventually. The Vault of Glass takes Emyr from Siobhan and she's left reeling after his loss. She turns to self-destructive thoughts and dives headfirst into hunting the very things that took Emyr from her. The Vex. She encounters Uldren and Mara while on her way to find a way into the Black Garden.

Uldren has to face the reality that his former lover is now a Guardian. A stranger is wearing her face. A face he could still recall when closing his eyes. Her voice was the same. Everything was the same except she was a Guardian, who had no memories of the past. Bitterness threatens to choke him and he takes advantage of this Siobhan needing to find a Vex gate lord. It's almost beautiful in the toxicity of this relationship, they are both using each other for their own purposes. Both using the other to burn away memories of past loves.

This arc ends with the battle with Oryx, and Uldren's subsequent disappearance from the system.

Take Me Back to Eden - Arc 3

This arc opens just after the Red War with Siobhan reeling from regaining her memories after losing her Light. She gets the call from Cayde to help with the Prison of Elders. Siobhan vows to stop Uldren no matter what it took, even as her heart screamed at her to stop.

The events of Forsaken play out as they did in the game, but Siobhan is left begging Uldren to stop. She lays it all out for him, everything she had to get him to turn away. To not make her pull the trigger. She does.

Siobhan goes into a sort of exile to deal with her feelings after killing Uldren. She still fights for the Vanguard but her heart isn't in it anymore and her friends and fireteam notice, but she won't open up to anyone. Not even to her best friend Nevia. This arc ends with Siobhan meeting Crow face to face.

Take Me Back to Eden - Arc 4 (Final Arc)

Siobhan keeps her distance from Crow, but puts out a threatening message to any Guardian that wants to mess with him. Hurt him and they'll have to face her. She knows that as a Guardian he has a chance to make a new life for himself, and she supports that. Though she does feel a little more understanding of how Uldren felt when she rocked up to Mara's throne room that day looking for the Black Garden. Siobhan still fights for the Vanguard, but Nevia notices she doesn't go on missions with Crow and worries about that.

Crow regains his memories through his link with Mara. He and Siobhan have it out and it is vicious on both sides with the hurt they're throwing at each other. They go into the Pale Heart after the Witness both smarting from their words to one another. Through being put together in close proximity and facing down what would happen if the Witness wins, they eventually find their way to apologizing.

Siobhan loses Arawn after the final battle, and it was Emyr who showed up instead of Cayde for her. Emyr was the one who told her to stop living in the past and to live for the future. Siobhan vows to live up to that promise.

She and Crow find some time after the final battle and all the celebrations to finally just talk. It's not perfect, there's healed over scars and trauma that will always haunt them, but they found their way to one another again.

Fixation Central

Anyone who follows my blog knows I am auDHD and I fixate extremely fast. I am constantly frothing at the mouth with how much I adore certain fandoms. Most of what I'm into right now is superhero cartoons, but my journey with two of my first ever fandoms: Scooby Doo and Harry Potter.

I've 'left' Harry Potter, but that's because I made my own canon lmao. Or attempted to, at least-

It has long since branched off and my honorary fixations include Gravity Falls, Warrior Cats, PJO, and Doctor Who. And yes, I did also have problematic fixations - let yourself be cringe; if you want to enjoy DSMP, Homestuck, ATLA, or anything in between - do it. I was only part of one of these though. All fandoms have their toxicity, and in the end... make your own fucking canon. Problem solved.

Though, now... it's time to talk about what I like now and the ones I never truly left so without much further ado - let's get on with it!

The Fixations That Just Stayed

Gravity Falls (joined the fandom late, ended up being the creator of multiple original AU's and adored the Pines family dynamics; would've wanted to see something actually used with the Cipher/Zodiac Wheel)

Warrior Cats (never finished the books, unapologetic Firestar fan - first fandom I ever roleplayed and had an OC named Dawnheart of all things)

Doctor Who (adore New Who, loved all companions and thought more could've been done with Martha; huge Riverdoc fan, Donna is my favorite companion - was obsessed with the Pandorica arc for literally no reason; actually enjoyed the Timeless Child reveal)

Scooby Doo (on-off fixation, made up Scooby Doo AU's and crossovers for a lot of my fandoms-)

Current Fixations

Danny Phantom (literally what started my superhero cartoon fixation; adores Everlasting Trio - Sam bashing is irritating I'm ngl, also platonic Badger Cereal is one of my favorite things; has made ghost king and TUE AU's, among other things)

RC9GN (Randy Cunningham: 9th Grade Ninja) (never watched it as a kid afaik; huge Randy Cunningham kin, kickstarted my Secret Trio fixation - multishipper for the fandom)

Wordgirl (nostalgia fixation, watched few episodes as a kid but came to love it as an adult; adoptive villains apologist, obsessed with the Rise of Miss Power episodes; Becky Botsford and Tobey McCallister kin, a lot more thoughts but I can't list them all down-)

K-Dramas (kind of picky with them, anything high-drive/action are my favorites; adores Vincenzo and Descendants of the Sun. Taxi Driver was also a fun ride, among others)

AU's and Crossovers Hoard

Secret Trio/Quartet (American Dragon: Jake Long, Randy Cunningham: 9th Grade Ninja, and Danny Phantom + bonus appearances from Miraculous Ladybug) (massive fixation, currently being worked on as a fanfiction series on Ao3 - post canon/future au timelines, darker depictions than their given canon)

Superwholock and Co (Supernatural, Doctor Who, and Sherlock) (original crossover I ever got into; adores crossovers with Merlin)

Mystery Kids (crossover between Coraline, Paranorman, Gravity Falls, and Danny Phantom - as I've never seen/played Psychonauts) (first of the crossovers as well, was a casual fan in the beginning - currently also being worked on as a fanfiction)

Rise of the Brave Tangled Dragons (Rise of the Guardians, Brave, Tangled, and How to Train Your Dragon) (the OG, attempted to make an LPS series for it as a kid; adored any plotlines with Pitch Black - the four being New Guardians of the Seasons? chef's kiss)

Once Upon in Camelot (OUAT/Once Upon a Time and Merlin) (abandoned project, might return to it; crossover/au where BBC! Arthurian cast are reincarnated following the S4 finale - exception being Merlin, shenanigans ensue; post-canon arc, Merthur storyline)
