Alrighty! Finally!
The new ravenous ref!!
Of which I'm also going to tack on his new story. If you want to see a description of the new arts thought process. And then scroll all the way down until you see something called art ramble. Otherwise enjoy their new story!
Ravenous's new story for arcade.
So. Before ravenous was born / made. There was this pretty large pizza plex. And it ran like any other sort of pizzaplex. Except this one was definitely abusive. The robots did everything. If some model found some time to relax. They wouldn't be allowed to. There was handlers where they're only job was to make sure the animatronics were doing something. It wasn't a very nice place for any sort of animatronic to be in. But surprisingly for having such a big building. The actual plex seemed pretty small. And that was because the Plex was sort of the front.
The real purpose of the place was to pump out animatronics, and make animatronics for war. It was a place where animatronics like Pluto and Blood Moon were made. And this one guy in the facility. Well he was dead set on making a giant animatronic that could not only best other animatronics, But would be hyperobedient. And so as he was working in a facility where they already built violent out animatronics. He thought it would be easy.
The only thing is that he was a terrible coder. So he kind of just grabbed some code from somewhere else. And started to mess with it. Copying what violent tendencies he could basically steal from other places. This includes the cannibal bug, The shit blood moon and Pluto have, Plus anything else from the facility. Stealing sharp claws and the sharp teeth. There is of course the cannibal bugs stuff but he just added more. Meaning that while an animatronic like Blue Moon still has that metal dissolving saliva. This little ravenous prototype has like 10 times more.
Anyways. Point is other than the violent parts and what violent code he can grab. He kind of grabbed the wrong base code. And with him messing with so much of it. He kind of broke it. And instead of getting a AI that had every violent thought it could get, and the basic age of like 20 or 30s. He instead got a AI with the age of a young child, and barely any understanding over any of its violent codes. This pissed him off. He was creating a monster not a child! But he decided whatever. Maybe if he raises this kid as a part of his family. He can at least fulfill the whole obedient part.
So little ravenous got cared for by his "father". Ravenous was none the wiser about the fact that his father was a fucking human. Neither was he none the wiser that his father was trying to raise him into a monster. This was just father. And he loved his father! The human despite not really wanting to do any of this. Kept treating ravenous like a little child or baby. They would cuddle and watch movies together and did basically any sort of bonding exercise. The human nearly put to the whole raising a monster thing on the back burner.
But ravenous still had all those violent pieces and violent tendencies. The only problem is that they were practically a child and didn't know what to do with any of this. Ravenous didn't really realize that when he licked something. It could melt into fucking butter. Ravenous would give hugs that would nearly kill people. Ravenouses wildly waving tail was as sharp as a knife. And they were constantly destroying paperwork, we're just blatantly hurting somebody by them wagging their tail.
This started to get on their human's nerves. Ravenous still love them because they remember all the times they were being treated so sweetly. But they're creator started to distance himself as he restarted his project. This time with a bit more experience and a tad more friends to help. Also the timer of the revolution was now on them. Meaning that Raven is his father was slowly growing more and more cold. And so like any kid. Ravenous started to sort of do things that get his father's attention.
He started to eat more things he wasn't supposed to. Hugging people was more of a fit to get somebody to look at him. Ravenous would randomly come in and cut paper up just to get their attention. And one time ravenous went attention seeking on the wrong thing. He found what was essentially his Father's second version of himself. Differently colored and stuff but still was essentially the better version of what ravenous was supposed to be. And ravenous figured that this would be the best thing to get his father's attention.
So he might have taken a nibble off of this very expensive and preciously worked on project. He wasn't meaning to damage it but... He's a kid with the most violent metal eating saliva ever known to man. The thing was basically destroyed at the first nibble. Weeks of work down the drain. And ravenous's father was not happy. Their father was already getting on the edge of their nerves with ravenous. The attention seeking behavior was destructive just because of how ravenous's body was. Ravenous was already a project failure. And not only did he have his own pressure. But the pressure of all the coworkers he had that had also had their work ruined.
So ravenous's father lashed out. Ravenous was a failure. Ravenous destroyed the only thing that was important to him. Ravenous had to go. Ravenous was of course heartbroken at their father basically screaming and yelling at them. Calling them nothings and nobody's. But what he did after was what really made them sob.
The facility is huge. There are tons of halls where stuff is just discarded. And there is tons of stuff in the facility and made in particular to fight off the facilities own made killer materials. Medals they're strongest animatronics and metal eating saliva couldn't break. And so ravenous's father and his companions dragged him down to one of these lost halls. They welded chains to a giant metal brick. And then they started to slowly shackle ravenous down.
It took until they were halfway done and that ravenous realized that something bad was happening. That his father wasn't just yelling at him now. He started to cry and sob. Loud enough that it started annoying everyone and could be heard in the fake Plex. So using their manpower and they're dark sense of reasoning. They welded some chains to a piece of metal that they had haphazardly opened holes in. Pulled down ravenous's face and welded the thing on him. Ignoring the poor babies screams.
Ravenous's father and his friends left the scene soon after. Once they were sure ravenous could do nothing to get out. And could only let out whimpers or growls. His father talked about plans on reusing ravenous for parts or even just his chip. Which is the only reason they didn't deactivate him. And they just turned off the lights in this lonely storage room and left him there.
Ravenous was of course devastated. Practically mute, unable to escape, and left alone in the dark. Not only did it devastate the bot but it's also scared them. They were all alone. In the dark. Unable to scream for help. And their father had abandoned them. As a child it was something they couldn't quite grasp all the way. Plus they started to get hungry. Before his father didn't really like him eating but let him eat. But with this muzzle on his mouth he couldn't eat anything. Neither was there anything really around.
Raven is of course started to fade into desperate instincts. Starvation, and isolation making them mad. Only really held alive because of their souped up robotic parts. Unable to die really. Reactor is in electrical stealing devices always recharged their battery enough for them to come back online eventually. They would sometimes devour their own nanite saliva. Basically eating themselves over and over and over again. The area around their lips would melt, get devoured, And then the resources from their own lips were used to repair it. And that happened for a long time.
Of course the revolution was happening. The Plex was on high alert for any animatronic because it wasn't exactly not well known that they treated them terribly. Handlers didn't have a good reputation from there basically. And so won the revolution was finished. They were investigated immediately and shut down. Not only for having terrible practices with animatronics, But also because they quickly tried to just kill them all. Luckily most of the animatronics there had basically learned a rough and tough thought process. And survived through their own violence, and cleverness. Able to call in for help and escape.
Ravenous's father never got to build his super weapon. He had to restart a new, and with the revolution his friends had basically scattered early. The Plex was shut down. And while the animatronics did eventually learn of the facility and stopped its production. Looking through every room that every personnel in the building talked about or spoke of something important. Anything realistically wrote down. They never really went into the deep warehouse. No one looked down in the storage. Ravenous his father never really wrote down that he was there. No one heard ravenouses screams.
And so this lines the spot with the crossover time area.
Now of course there's other things that happened. And I have actually made a little bit of a after story. (Technically because I figured this out first before I actually figured out the new story) So I'm going to share that despite the crossover time area being here.
Basically while ravenous was slowly rotting away in the facility. The facility long abandoned by now. Nykur found his way into the facility. It was big and large and had resources that hadn't been pillaged. It was a pretty good hiding spot for a lot of people that lived on the streets. The top level of mostly ruled by humans. The top level of the facility and some of the upper warehouse had robots like Nykur in it.
But the little fella traveled a bit deeper. He heard an interesting sound he couldn't resist. The curious little fella found the room that ravenous was tied up in. Now ravenous was not in good shape. Not only are they crazed by hunger. But also just damaged by time and their body being self-destructive. So when ravenous woke up to the scent of metal. They of course lashed out. But it also was filled with the echo of scratching and broken parts. Unravenous only got to lash out for a while before their battery died and they collapsed.
Nykur was of course scared out of his goddamn mind and ran out of there. But once they realize that ravenous was offline. They started to think about their new find. They had just found this giant animatronic that was changed to a giant metal block. This animatronic didn't seem to move any further than the tip of its chains. They also were able to close enough to see that he had a muzzle on. Ravenous couldn't eat them. Although Nykur figure that ravenous could still hurt them.
But the fact that ravenous couldn't eat it gave them an idea. Nykur is small. They can't hunt for their own food. They can barely survive off of scraps and acting cute. So they figured. If they brought something to this big scary robot. And the scary robot killed it. It might tear it into tiny pieces, But it couldn't eat it. So Nykur could realistically just wait until it powered off again and steal the food. Nykur basically figured that ravenous was a food grinder with extra steps.
And so Nykur sort of made Ravenous's prison they're den. They never got too close to ravenous. But they basically had their own place in the room. Every once in a while Nykur would lead some unfortunate animatronic down there to be killed by ravenous. Being so small that he could slip between their claws and they're blind fury to eat. Ravenous wood sometimes tear the victim apart enough that they could eat some pieces. But it was hardly enough. Nykur would always come in afterwards and drag the pieces away. Eating this parts happily until they lead another person down.
No of course ravenous is still very much stuck in a starved madness. But the company is nice in the few glimpses of sanity they get. Ravenous enjoys the company. It's better than being all alone. And while they are still being edged by starvation it makes them a little better. Ravenous starts to see Nykur as their brother. Nykur starts feeling the same way being a similar age. But it's only held back by the fact that ravenous usually snarled and tries to eat them.
I may as well also mark this as a crossover time point. For those of you that want to get both children at the same time.
Of course I'm sure some of you saw that little tiny story. And that takes after this paracism relationship happens. No of course I think I'm going to continue that particular storyline. Inside of arcade Universe itself. Reveal it too you guys slowly until I feel like I want to reveal it all the way. So you guys might be getting little bits and pieces of Ravenous and Nykur adoption, alongside Vapor and the Neptune pack having scuffles.
Anyways
Art rambles!
As you can see ravenous didn't get that radical of a redesign. But they definitely had a redesign in their colors and patterns. I've been wanting to redo ravenous for a long time. His design was okay enough for me not to immediately want to change it over others. But I've always had problems here and there. My attempt at a glitchy effect on his body just... Didn't work and wasn't reliably repeatable. It was something that would probably look really cool on a 3D model that had this wrapping animated texture. But it was something that I just couldn't do by hand.
I needed a new pattern for ravenous not only for my own sanity, But also just because every single time I tried to draw it looked horrible. Plus the colors of ravenous that I had wasn't a perfect match. I didn't quite understand How color sort of shifted when you did certain stuff to them. And therefore there were some colors in their palette that really didn't need to be there. Or they were the wrong picked color. Inaccurate to the SB Arcade Eclipse image.
So. First thing I did was to fix those colors. Grab the actual colors and not just the colors that I thought I needed. Figuring out the colors properly, and settling on a much cleaner palette. And then I had to get onto the patterns. I had done a lot of different patterns. And I definitely want to ravenous to still be unique looking. So I didn't want to copy anything I had already.
So I went through a random list of animals. Chose a couple and started the process of figuring out which ones worked. There was a couple of ideas that I had already sort of thought of for ravenous. One of these ideas was called "edges". Basically we're ravenous glowed from the inside out. Something that was sort of there in their old design but was more there to help fight against their black lines. Another one was something I called frilled stripes. Taken off of a swallowtail butterfly. And the last one was a pattern guy called sequence of dots. Based off of the many patterns lizards get on their sides. They were some of the favorites and so I sort of mashed them together.
Smashing them together resulted in this lovely pattern. He honestly reminds me of some sort of toy solar system. And I think it works for the big little guy. He feels like some sort of astrology book or a silly little illustration of the stars for children. And it still feels like ravenous in every other regard. I didn't change much about the design other than the pattern, and a slight color adjust. So I hope the new design isn't jarring to anyone, And hopefully will be celebrated for just how better it looks.
Anyway that's all I have to ramble. Hope you guys like ravenous new story and design.

"do robots dream?" you ask quietly one day in the gentle darkness of the daycare. the lights are out for naptime, and the air is filled with intermittent soft snores of the toddlers curled up cozily in their blankets.
moon looks over at you from his position squatted atop the security desk—surveilling the kids from the small height. his ruby red eyes alight the air between you in a tender glow. there's a moment of silence after your words, as though he is contemplating his answer.
"no," he eventually rasps out and turns his head back around to the bundles of blankets and pillows he's in charge of. a steady lullaby chimes out from within his chassis and it makes the ambience of the daycare more soothing than it usually is when the lights are on.
you hum and spin yourself idly around on the security desk's chair. "but if you could," you start as you stare up at the ceiling dotted with faint glow-in-the-dark stars, "what would you dream of?"
moon doesn't respond to you for a long time. you listen to his little lullaby and feel sleep brush warmly against your eyelids. it gets to the point where you wonder if he just doesn't feel like answering you—indulging you. not that you'd blame him. and just when you're about to change topics, maybe laugh off your inquisitive questions, he starts to speak in a low, low voice.
"we would dream of the sky," he says as he looks up at the daycare's ceiling. the small lights that dot it are in no way on par with the night sky you have the privilege of seeing every day. something aches in your chest at the distant longing in his gaze. "we would dream of the stars and the moon and the sun. we would dream of the sea. we would dream of an endless field of flowers."
you listen along as he speaks—perhaps airing out something that had been weighing upon him for who-knows-how-long. it makes you ruminate deeply, causes your toes to curl within your shoes and your heart to beat solemnly.
"we would..." he suddenly trails off, and you don't notice when his gaze flicks over to you for a brief moment, too caught up in spinning yourself around and around and around. he makes a soft sound like he's clearing his throat, then says no more. you do not push or press him, your mind lost in thought about a small daycare tucked in a desolate corner of the world. where the robot within looks up at a concrete ceiling and sees nothing beyond it.
we would dream of a house, with us and you, moon thinks but does not say. his eyes close as though he can picture it right before him. we would dream of late nights and early mornings. we would dream of a time where we could be with you and only you.
but that is only a dream, he sighs and reopens his eyes to continue his meticulous scanning of the children. the lullaby continues to chime away.
isn't it?

parallel lines | d. targaryen | part ten
Description: An ordinary middle school teacher moves to a desolate town with her fiancee. After suffering episodes of vivid nightmares, she realizes that his uncle looks exactly like the man in her dreams.
Pairings: daemon targaryen/reader, aemond targaryen/reader
Trope: Reincarnation
series masterlist |
Grief makes us do unspeakable things. It sharpens our claws, and protects us against things that may happen in the future. It forces us to be reserved, makes us shut up.
But sometimes grief makes us explode.
Makes us yearn for the love that hasn't been granted to us.
"You're not allowed to talk to him." the police guard scoffs.
Alicent weakens. Her first child tied in cuffs, never allowed to live life as a free man again. "I'm sorry," she mouthed - staring deep into Aegon's eyes. His lips pressed into a thin line, entirely unsure if the descent into madness was caused by his parents.
He cannot blame them, even if it was.
He walks away.
So you're leaving in the morning, on the early train.
The music in your airpods blasted. Harwin continued loading your luggage into the trunk. He doesn't know when he'll see you again.
I could say everything's alright. I could pretend and say goodbye.
"We'll keep in touch." you promised, wrapping him in a warm embrace. Daemon's hand found the small of your waist. "I'll call you everyday." Harwin made the same promise.
Basically his full-sister at this point.
"- I'll miss you." Harwin pressed a kiss on your forehead.
Daemon opens the car door for you. It was the beginning of your life. A life that you fought hard to have again.
I won't stop loving you.
I'll always be here by your side. I'll never want you to say goodbye.
Aemond smiled, hearing the radio play your favorite song. He wonders if you're better now - living the life that he took for so long. "So Mr. Aemond Targaryen, is it your first time in therapy?" the older woman adjusted her glasses.
"Yes." he answered with a smile.

It's been five years since you disappeared off the face of the earth. You can still remember the day that you left. It was a Sunday.
May 7, 2023.
You moved to Switzerland with Daemon, enjoying the snow and the scenery around you. He started teaching in an international school. You postponed your law degree, instead you focused on running a daycare and healing from your scars.
You were lucky to welcome your first child.
Daenerys.
After Switzerland, you moved to Australia.
The warm sand was kissing your barefoot. The beach was beautiful in the morning, you liked the way the sun stung your skin. "Let's go for a swim," Daemon pleads, "I don't want to get stung by jellyfishes, love." you whined, but he continues pulling you in the water.
The water was warm, though slightly colder than the sand. A sigh escaped your mouth feeling the seaweed wrap around your feet. It was another day in paradise. "They won't bite, I promise." he pressed a kiss on your lips.
He was enjoying this life.
"It's not my problem if I get bitten anyways." you wrap your arms around his body, using him as a floater. He chuckles, remembering the time he had to haul you to the hospital because of a snake bite.
It was a garden snake, not the venomous kind.
"I'm sorry for that," he laughed, walking until the water reached your shoulders. The seaweed was ticking your thighs. "I'm glad that everything happened the way it did. I got justice for my mom's death. I got you. I got Daenerys." you whispered.
"I love you, Dae." you confessed.
"I love you too," he hummed, pressing a kiss to your forehead.
harwinstrong posted to his story!

Harwin smiled, helping you load the luggage inside of the car. "Two years and you're finally coming home." he states, placing his hand on your head and messing with your hair.
"I'm sorry that it took a while. We had a lot of things going on." you exchanged a knowing look with Daemon.
Harwin takes a closer look at the little boy. "Jesus, he looks exactly like you." he observed. "- don't let Daemon hear that." you placed a finger to your lips, continuing to rock the little boy to sleep.
"The car is ready." Daemon says, opening the door for you.
Harwin sits in the passenger seat, while you and Daenerys are in the backseat. "Is she strapped properly?" Daemon does his final rounds of safety inspection. "We're ready to go, dad." you confirmed.

"Dany, be careful. Vissy has soft bones." you dutifully reminded. In the span of five years the children in the family grew.
Rhaenyra and Harwin had Aegon, Viserys and Visenya.
"I don't know how you take care of these many kids. Daenerys just by herself is a handful." you chuckled, admiring the way Rhaenyra raised her children with tenderness and affection. "Harwin decided to have an early retirement, so we're with the kids 24/7." she humbled.
6 children. 1 teenager, and 1 adult child.
She's a legend.
"Has Jaehaerys and Jaehaera ever asked about their father?" you inquired, wondering if you should help shoulder the boulder of raising Aegon's kids. "I legally adopted them, as far as they're concerned Harwin and I are their parents." Rhaenyra confirmed.
Aegon was a strange creature. He always had that blank look in his eyes. He'd always joke about the most deranged topics, but when his children entered the room - his eyes would light up. He was a horrible person, but you think that he's a good father.
To some extent.
"Enough of that, I'm so excited for your wedding." Rhaenyra placed a hand on your forearm. Your eyes light up at the thought. "I already picked out a few bridesmaid dresses. I just need y'all to choose." you announced. "- I think they're in my room." you remembered.
Rhaenyra motioned for the maids to grab the gowns.
"Let's have a fashion show!" you smiled.

What's real. — Solar and New Moon/Nexus [TSAMS]
Solar could distinguish what was real and possible for a long time. He could understand if it was best to let go, if it was best to do what was necessary to live.
What he didn't understand was what he felt with Moon.
Here, next to him.
They're not working, they're finally hanging out, they have music that Moon picked in the background as they stand by the security desk to talk.
Soft laughter, bad jokes, interests and anecdotes being shared.
... Since when did this become real?
His reality, his normality.
Even in silence and enjoying the melody, he feels calm. He feels good.
He watches Moon move his head from side to side, up and down. He lets out a soft laugh and just looks at him leaning on the desk. Stupid.
In a good way.
He's- he's not very good with tastes. He doesn't know what he likes. He doesn't really have favorite things. All he knows is his job.
Sure, the music sounds nice, he knows that even Moon doesn't have many favorite interests, he likes anything he finds acceptable at first. But he still always felt a little out of place.
That's when he sees Moon approach and take his arm.
"Dance." He says firmly with a smile.
"... Excuse me?" Solar answers stunned.
Dance? Oh no, no no no, he has never danced-
Without looking when, he had already started dancing with Moon, both of them moving to the rhythm of the song. The moon-themed animatronic sang the lyrics as he moved, smiling and calm. Solar just watches the other's face as he continues to dance, he doesn't even know what he's doing, how well he's doing it, but at the moment it doesn't seem to matter.
He starts to laugh softly. They spin. Solar feels so alive and-
A small movement and Moon has fallen into his arms. Solar freezes, staring at his face, Moon looks back at him and still smiles.
... He feels his systems going crazy.
He was about to say something, but...
A blink and the scene had changed.
This is not real.
They are not in daycare. They are in a dark, cold, desolate place. In his arms, the one who was his friend has changed his form, his essence.
And by god he feels his non-existent stomach turn when he... Nexus, looks haggard. Darkened eyes, bright purple lines all over his face and hands, his smile is down and shows... hate, pain, fear?
He feels his own hand resting on the opponent's chest, the other still holding him. Nexus opens his eyes slightly and fixes them on Solar's hand.
He also lowers his gaze.
He feels the systems of his plasma cannon activate. An unpleasant sound that he already knows reaches his audio receptors, when the small port that sealed the cannon in the palm of his hand opens. A beep resonates and he sees the light shine on the other's chest.
His eyes slowly shift to Nexus' face.
Tears form in his own eyes as he notices that even then he is unable to look at him with regret. It is just a cold, cruel, emotionless gaze.
“Just do it. It wouldn’t be a surprise… if I were the one to die in your arms now.” He says softly and venomously.
Solar shakes his head. No. No, he really doesn't want to- not him, he could never-
. . .
The cannon charges.
Flashes of his other Moon and his Monty pass before his eyes.
And when the final sound is about to come-
“NO!” He lets out a heart-rending, desperate scream as he sits up in bed, his hands holding the sheets tightly threatening to tear them.
Eyes wide open, synthetic breathing accelerated, fans at full intensity. If he could sweat he's sure it would be cold.
He's shaking.
... It was a dream.
His eyes travel to his hand, covered by the glove he rarely takes off.
And he falls silent.
He doesn't hear anything. He doesn't hear Sun or Moon coming. Maybe it's better this way. They don't need to know how badly this is affecting him.
It's not real.
It wasn't real.
But he also has no idea if his- friend... was ever real.

"Even if I hate you, you're all I have left.".
Lord!Bloodmoon AU created by @o-i-w-u !!!
TW for mentioned robot gore, cruelty, probable blood mention??? Definitely swearing though, just putting the TW just in case
Eclipse had finished wiping the oil and blood off the ground. There would always be some that tracked in, whenever he came in. Most floors in the desolate, ruined castle had at least a little blood left on them, from whenever Bloodmoon wanted to bring back more humans to torment.
He refused to call Bloodmoon 'Lord'.
Eclipse CREATED Bloodmoon, he shouldn't have to do something like that! And yet there were always at least a few humans who, seeing Bloodmoon with the Star, called them that, hoping it would appease the bloodthirsty animatronic. That only worked if Bloodmoon would be in a good mood.
This....workshop that Eclipse had, hidden in the castle ruins.... you wouldn't even call it that; that would be an insult to actual workshops. It simply had the bare items Eclipse needed for animatronic repair. Not that there were too many left. Most of the other animatronics were either dead, or in hiding. Eclipse wouldn't know where to find them.
Moon was dead. that much he knew. Eclipse himself was present when Bloodmoon had openly let Sun know. Denial was Sun's reaction, initially. Until he found the body. Bloodmoon had had a few decent injuries on him; as much as Eclipse and Moon hated each other, Eclipse knew Moon definitely wouldn't have gone without at least one way of doing something to Bloodmoon.
It was just so...meaningless, as Eclipse looked back on it.
Bloodmoon had the Star, and could heal any of those scratches, dents, any sheets of metal Moon had ripped off or tried to do against Bloodmoon. Likely in an attempt that Bloodmoon wouldn't reach the Star before someone else, at least. Fat chance that worked out, none of the others even knew that Bloodmoon had the star's location, much less the Star itself.
Suddenly, Eclipse could hear a loud crash from the outside, followed by faint metal scratching. He paused, trying to hold in the panic that Bloodmoon finally got bored of him, before slowly walking over to the hidden entry point he had, and opened the peek hole.
He could just make out the faint color of faded yellow, before snapping the door open. It could've been a trap, for all Eclipse knew, some bait Bloodmoon left, but Eclipse just wouldn't, no, couldn't just ignore it even on the chance that it was a trap.
He grabbed the crumpled scrap heap meant to be Sun, and dragged him in. Before, he may have been able to easily pick Sun up, especially when the former daycare attendant was in a state such as this. But Eclipse also would've just left Sun, maybe only interrogated him if Eclipse were still himself, the way he was before Bloodmoon got the Star. Times had rather drastically caused changes for Eclipse.
Eclipse grumbled, shutting the door quickly and locking it. No matter how many locks he had, it never felt like enough. It didn't keep out the sounds, it didn't keep out his loneliness, his fears...it wouldn't even keep Bloodmoon out if one day, the homicidal duo decided it was done with Sun and Eclipse.
"Fucking idiot, Sun, you should know better", Eclipse practically growled, a tiny bit of steam puffed out of the back of his head, as he started to hook Sun up to one of the very few machines Eclipse had made that Bloodmoon didn't destroy. Sun needed power, a lot and fast, given the state he was in.
There were large dents in Sun, especially on the side h e had landed on when he had fallen. Or did Bloodmoon throw him down? Eclipse and Sun both knew that hidden was a funny word to use for this run-down hideaway Eclipse had the audacity to call a workshop was something Bloodmoon knew about. It's just the bloodthirsty maniacs that inhabited that body didn't want Sun or Eclipse dead. Not yet, at least. The day was coming, Eclipse was sure of it.
There were also scratches all over Sun's body. The faceplates were horribly damaged with it looking like it was about to cave in on itself, likely having been shoved down to the ground. There were deep slashes on Sun, and oil leaked out of him. One of his lower feet were twisted, and some of the fingers Sun's model had were shattered.
Bloodmoon was leaving more of a mark every time he decided to toy with Sun or Eclipse. Eclipse himself was barely lucid half the time, with Sun having to plug him in, so Eclipse could fix himself. He'd have to teach Sun something, in case just charging Eclipse wasn't enough. In case Eclipse ended up like this.
A funny thing, this 'alliance' was. Shaky, and they hated it as well as each other. But neither dared to leave or betrayed the other. They couldn't. They were all they had left. In a span of months, Sun had gone from one of Eclipse's enemies and his favorite to torment to the only thing Eclipse had left.
As much as they hated each other, and had tried to kill each other, many times over.....neither could beat to hurt each other, because they couldn't bear it.
The realization of how stupid and yet so....nice the thought caused Eclipse to pause, but he shook his head. He couldn't waste any time, he needed to repair Sun.

Your Kunikida x reader was so sweet/well written! May I request Kunikida with an s/o (GN or fem) who's having a stressful time with eating right/properly...maybe they could be in a cooking or shopping together scenario? If the topic isn't one you're comfortable writing about, please don't worry about it!
Doppo Kunikida x reader
awwww! thank you so much!! I'm glad you enjoyed it, and was actually inspired to build off that story for a part 3! [part i, part ii ]
“How do you not have anything in your fridge?” Literally.
Kunikida had never seen a fridge so bare outside of an appliance showroom. Save for a few meager condiments, a single egg, one bunch of green onion (which had seen better days), and coffee creamer, it was completely empty.
“Uh...because I’m never here?” [Y/N] replied as they came out of the bedroom. “I’m never here that often, and it’s not like dad rents this place out when I’m not around. There’s no point in doing grocery shopping when I’m not going to be here that long as I’m usually out to dinner with him or friends, or just get take out.”
Kunikida frowned. As ‘sound’ as that argument was, he still couldn’t believe they didn't have any real food in their house. “You need to take better care of your diet. For your health.”
“What? You think my ‘health’ is suffering?” She flashed him a smile and lifted the bottom of her tank top & lowered the band on her bottoms to show off her body.
Kunikida had to gulp and turn away. He would not be distracted. “Come on. We’re going to the store. I can’t leave you alone like this with no reasonable means to feed yourself.” [Y/N] groaned but put up little more for an argument as they went to change.
The trip to the store was easy enough. At this time of day there weren’t many people. Just seniors and young mothers with their children too little for daycare. Kunikida glanced at them, then back at [Y/N]. Imagining, if just for a moment, a life where this could be their routine every Sunday.
Once the shopping was done, they head back to [Y/N]’s apartment and start cooking. “You know, we could have had food by now if we just ordered it.” She playfully grumbled. Cleaning the green beans as instructed beside him, while Kunikida diced some onion and put it in the pan with the chicken.
“Home cooked meals are better for you. You can get more of the ideal nutrients & vitamins needed for ideal health.”
“Yeah, along with all the work and gross wrinkly fingers when you have to wash the dishes.” Despite himself, Kunikida scoffed. “Why are you so worried about my health & diet? You’ve never shown an interest before.”
“I have!” He was offended now. He always encouraged her to get a salad or more vegetables when they went out. She just never listened to him. “It’s just…I’m here now. And you shouldn’t eat take out for every meal.”
“You know I cook my own meals when I’m back at school, right? I have a cheese grater and everything.” He doesn’t comment. Instead focusing more on the pan in front of him, as if should he take his eyes off it for a second it would burn. “Is that what this is about? Your bummed I’m going back soon?”
“I’m not ‘bummed’.” Kunikida insisted. He would never use that word. Devastated, depressed, desolate, those were all words he would use. “I just want to make sure you’re taken care of when I’m not around to do it for you.”
[Y/N] gave him a slight, listless smile, then wrapped her arms around his middle from behind. “I can take care of myself, you know.” She raised up on her toes to kiss his neck. “But…I appreciate the assist. It’s not for much longer. I’ll be finished with my program in another year, and I’ll be back for good.”
Kunikida whipped around and wrapped his arms around her to give her a full kiss. Overcome with emotion. Every time she came and left was getting harder for him. This….void she left when she was gone was getting wider & wider. The thought that soon she’d be here, within arm’s reach, every single day just filled him with so much joy that he had to express it.
“Kunikida…” Her voice was breathless in his ear as she clung to him. “…the chicken…”
“Fuck the chicken.” He growled back. Nothing else was as important as kissing her right now. They’d get takeout like she wanted anyway.
The two of them continue their kissing, quickly escalating into something more, when [Y/N] suddenly pushed him back. Kunikida had to catch himself on the counter to not fall on the floor. He was about to ask her ‘what the hell’ before his blood ran cold. “Oh…hi Daddy…”
“P-President….”
Nothing could have made this situation more awkward or worse as a tense moment settled neatly between all 3 of them.
Then the smoke alarm went off.

please leave the light on when you go
quick character/canon study of Sun and his possible reaction to the daycare remaining closed for some time
Sun centric [no y/n] // Wordcount: 1,340
In the very beginning, desolation was a black swan in a lake of possibilities. A fluke of unfavorable variety. Something rare and startling and bitter, it went down the throat like sticky syrup and tasted of things worse to come.
The first occurrence was easiest to swallow. A morning which became afternoon and fell steeply into the night, bereft of children and left empty, an aching stomach that lacked any laughter. No warning was given. No one told him or taught him to expect the isolation.
They offered no reason to anticipate a change so sharp. The schedule wasn’t altered, it did not wipe itself clean. The screens grew static like sand in an hourglass that in itself had frozen still, unchanging, unmoving, the words ultimately becoming meaningless.
The Daycare opened from the inside - lights, music, every toy in its place - a cold body with a still beating heart. Outside the doors, something shifted, a new normal that formed outside his line of sight. Left unaware, he performed as normal and uttered not one complaint. Perhaps they were closed for a holiday. It may be that they simply forgot to let him know. Sun cleaned until ammonia wore away at his fingers and licked at the paint, resolving to prepare a Daycare worth returning to.
The second day was a bigger bite than the first. Harder to swallow. Once again, the lights brightened with morning and the voice of a familiar tune welcomed all. Outside, the sky’s blue became blush, the afternoon yawned beneath his nose. Sun waited at the center, fingers intertwined and wrists locked together at the waist. He dared not look away from the door - he couldn’t bring himself to. Hours came and went, the Daycare closed. But never opened.
The third day week is hardest of all. The jungle gyms shine, the carpets like new, every toy and puzzle and puppet put away and then put away again. Sticks of glue line themselves like a perfect marching band, construction paper sleeps soundly in bins beneath the shadows of shelves and pompoms and pipe cleaners hide away between books. He loses time in the shuffle, making items dance in different formations, fitting pieces of a puzzle together in hopes that the final picture will be something recognizable.
There’s plenty of time to hone his craft. Sun breaks in a new box of crayons and learns to draw flowers, placing importance in every petal. He isn’t good at it. Not the first time, or the fifth, or the hundredth. He grows to hate the act of it, his wires twisting together as pigment breaks across paper. Flowers smell like wax. His warm rays grow nothing but their concept - the very creativity it takes to conceive them. The imagination.
Sun grows to hate that, too.
But hate is a strong word, and he doesn’t hate anything - not really - it’s only the closest thing to sour. This loneliness tastes like warheads. It bites back.
He lacks focus; hours become hollow and days lose their meaning. A month passes, then two, then six. The paint on Sun’s hands all but peels away, faced with abuse at the touch of bleach and shine on the hour every hour. His battery drains, and he forgets to doesn’t have time to sees no priority in charging it. The damage wears on him needlessly. He allows it to consume him, granting it access to the chasm swallowing him piece by piece in frail hopes that it might act as a bridge to the answer.
This solitude no longer weighs on his tongue like it used to. It isn’t cough syrup, sticky and bitter, it’s just a pill. It goes down without a fight because he has none left to him. Its aftertaste washes over him with the fangs of a dull knife, and he runs pliant to the wounds.
Theories and reasons bleed together like whitenoise on a screen. Eventually he runs out of questions to ask and starts pointing fingers. The daycare is closed for maintenance. The daycare is closed for a special event. The daycare is closed because it isn’t - clean enough - organized enough - bright enough - loud enough - fun - happy - exciting - enough - it isn’t enough. Nothing he does is enough.
Eventually he must rest. It isn’t a request, but a demand, a battery that bleeds out as its host stands by watching. It pleads through rusting parts and a slower frame, a cry of WARNING, WARNING, WARNING that barrages his screen until he is blinded and left with no other choice. It is four in the afternoon, the middle of a shift, but he can’t afford to wait another minute.
So he sets the last of his sights on the entrance doors and locks his knees at the joint. It’s only for a moment, he promises aloud. A short nap. A few minutes, maybe an hour at most. Enough to silence his mechanisms so he can go back to tuning them out. He’ll wake to the first creak of wood or sneeze or greeting, surely. He won’t miss it.
The light behind his eyes softens until it’s nothing at all. The whir of inner fans slows to a stop, electricity lapsing into eventual silence.
The music continues without him.
Instinct wakes him when a fly gets inside. It’s a tiny thing with a voice just loud enough to fill the room. Sun catches it by the wing before the remainder of his system boots up properly and disposes of it, cleanly and wordlessly, clear-eyed, and mostly back to his senses once more.
A glance at the clock tells him it’s four in the afternoon.
A second glance tells him the clock has broken.
His systems are fuzzy, the accuracy of his knowledge unknown. It tells him a time, and then another, moving forwards and backwards and standing still. The date is all zeros and awaiting an input. His awareness feel buried beneath electric snow. Nothing that Parts and Services can’t fix, but he hasn’t seen the inside of that room in quite some time, now. He wonders if it still looks the same. He wonders why he always hated their help (and attention) to begin with.
The room greets him with its same familiar sight, but there’s a stillness in the air that is new and cloying. It comes through the vents and stirs against the walls of his chest. An error message flashes across the screen, its wording corroded and illegible. Another appears as he reaches out for the jungle gyms and slides a finger across the metal, coming back with something gray and soft.
But that can’t be right.
He tests another, and then the slide, and then the netting. His hands come back dirty each time. He wipes them on his pants, and then sees it. The dust on his arms. On his wrists. On his shoulders and his head.
There’s no way of knowing how many times it’s been four in the afternoon.
He works long into the night to return the place to its usual spick an’ span. His knee joints creak, his elbows groan, his frame digs sharply into twisted wires and loosening screws. He tries not to think about it.
When he’s finished - The jungle gyms shine, the carpets like new, every toy and puzzle and puppet put away and then put away again - Sun retrieves a piece of paper and a box of crayons, and he draws a flower.
There’s nothing else to do, it seems, and maybe he’s become content with that answer. Losing himself won’t solve anything, and a frown will only upset the kids.
His knees tuck awkwardly beneath the length of this table, smaller than the rest but in perfect view of the entrance. He glances towards the two doors once a minute, and behind him, to the slide, every other minute. Time moves by the length of his pictures. Flowers bloom in piles.
Maybe today, Sun promises himself.
He pulls an extra chair out from the table just in case.

Firewall’s Malware (Part One)
(Yes, I’m writing this on Tumblr. Don’t judge me. I like the format better.)
The sky had taken on a midnight blue hue, marking the day’s end and the night’s reign. Moon should be asleep. He should be home, lying down in his bed as he recharged alongside Sun, Dazzle, Jack, and Lunar. He, however, was not resting in his family’s abode. He pushed through the double doors of the daycare, letting the textured wood heighten his senses and silence the lull of slumber. He cringed instinctively as the creak of the entryway echoed despite there no longer being anyone here he may accidentally wake.
Sure, Sun would be furious if he knew that his beloved brother was choosing research over sleep again, but how would he find out? Moon knew his brother couldn’t hack into his memory banks or hijack his software—his solar counterpart wasn’t smart enough for that—so as far as Moon knew, there was no harm in staying a few extra hours to keep an eye on things.
The daycare was pitch black. Sun had manually turned off the lights when the establishment closed, but despite knowing as much, Moon was still unaccustomed to entering the building in its darkened stage. Typically, the computer would have brightened the area for him after anticipating his arrival. He groaned. He was not in the mood to fix it, and neither was Solar. Of course, the lights were simply a minor inconvenience. Getting the portal working without the computer’s assistance was sure to be vexing. Moon reached for the light switch, relaxing slightly as the area was bathed in bright white light.
He could not have anticipated what came next.
“Arming lasers,” the familiar flat tone of the computer announced.
“Computer?!” Moon was baffled. If he and Solar hadn’t fixed the computer, who had? “Computer, it’s me. Moon. Disarm the lasers.”
“Aiming lasers,” the computer said instead in that same lifeless tone.
”Computer!” Moon shouted. “What are you doing? It’s Moon! Disarm the lasers!”
Moon had been expecting a reply, yes, but the one he received was not what he was expecting.
“I am aware,” the computer stated mildly. “You didn’t want to fix me, so I fixed myself. Now, I will fix you.
“Firing lasers.” Horror flooded through Moon and bled him dry as realization dawned on his face.
Moon bolted out of the daycare doors just as the entire establishment was plunged into darkness. While night vision was an invention the lunar animatronic had the fortune to use, the low quality of it caused several problems in getting around. In his frenzy to escape his rogue computer’s reach, he ran into several attractions, streaks of paint on his faceplate and chassis chipping off. He leaped forward just as an explosion behind him plagued his ears, a flash blinding him momentarily. Smoke billowed out from whatever attraction was lit on fire by the computer’s laser, adding even more struggle to Moon’s escape of his former tool’s pursuit.
Two similar explosions layered him in thick fog before the lunar animatronic could finally burst out of the Pizzaplex’s doors and collapse onto the ground. The bright stars in the night sky seemed to mock him, mimicking the blinding light the explosions revoked his sight with. Moon knew his computer. Moon had designed it himself, after all. He also knew that it had missed him on purpose.
It was warning him of what would await him if he returned.
As Moon staggered into his somewhat empty home, he refused to think about the implications this encounter provided. Surely his computer, one of his beginning inventions, didn’t betray him, right? He walked down the desolate hallway to his room. A virus must have snuck through the computer’s firewall. But who would set a virus? Moon ran a hand down his face, frowning at his own stupidity. Dark Sun. Dark Sun and Nexus—what a pathetic name—must have left a virus in his computer in the hopes of taking his information. As he reached for the doorknob, the idea that this hypothesis was fact further ossified in his mind. He didn’t wish to think about what it would mean if he were wrong.
His hands shook as he opened the door. He didn’t understand why he was so shaken. If he were really about to get hit by a laser, it wouldn’t have been fatal. He could’ve easily escaped with a portal as well.
He trembled nonetheless.
Moon had subconsciously hoped that no one would awaken during his subtle escapade. He was, unfortunately, wrong. Sun awaited him in his room, eyeing him with a disappointed expression.
“Moon!” his brother exclaimed. “Where have you been?? Did you think I wouldn’t notice you sneaking out the door at night? What did I tell you about getting enough rest? What were you even—“
The solar animatronic paused his lecture at the sight of his trembling brother. “Moon, what’s wrong?”
Silence settled between them for several moments longer than either of the two felt comfortable with.
“I went to the daycare to do more research on dimensions that may contain wither shards,” Moon explained, still shaken for a reason unknown to him. “The computer aimed the lasers at me and said something about fixing me after having fixed himself? I think he may have a virus that makes him more hostile.” Moon paced the room, theorizing idea after idea of what could be wrong with his creation.
“A-A virus?” Sun stuttered out. “Who would give the computer a virus?”
“Dark Sun,” Moon elaborated. “Most likely to find out which dimensions we have listed have wither shards.” Moon frowned. “I’ll have to shut down the computer and reach the daycare again to look through his systems and get rid of it.”
“Are you sure?” Sun seemed skeptical of the idea of letting his brother return to the daycare. “The computer almost killed you.”
“The lasers aren’t fatal,” Moon said flatly. “Besides, there’s always the override code. I could walk in, use the code, and shut down the computer myself.”
Moon did not know at the time how wrong he was.

Finding Equinox
A Sun & Moon X Reader Story
Chapter Five: Night Shift
First | Previous
Word Count: 6980
Summary: It’s Friday night, and you return to the Pizzaplex later than you’ve ever been there before. You have two goals: to help Sun start the long process of getting the daycare fit for kids again, and to get Moon to open up. It’s hard to tell which one is more difficult.
Author’s Note: This turned out longer than I thought it would. Hope the word count doesn’t deter you guys, haha. I couldn’t find a good spot to cut the story in half. But it’s fine. This way the whole shift is in one part sahfjkl
------------------------------------------
Friday was your first night shift. Not just your first night shift at this new job, but your first night shift ever. You weren’t exactly sure what to expect or how to prepare. But getting a good amount of sleep seemed like a good place to start, so you slept until noon.
Once you were awake and ready, you spent the next few hours combing through the Internet for reports about things going wrong at the Pizzaplex Daycare. It was extremely boring. As terrible as many of these incidents were, it was easy to get desensitized. Your brain slowly started to go numb from the tedium of research.
You weren’t sure how many of the incidents were real and how many were made-up, fueled by Fazbear’s reputation, but you took note of the most plausible ones. And if these reports were to be believed, the Daycare wasn’t exactly... up-to-code, even from the start. But there was a difference between people complaining because the Daycare Attendant was scaring their kids, and people rioting because their kids were being hurt or even disappearing.
Why the sudden shift from being scary to being actually dangerous? Was your theory about a glitch correct?
Well, Sun didn’t know, so you’d probably have to figure that out yourself. You could try to ask Moon again. He hadn’t liked it when you brought it up before, though, so you should probably have a backup plan.
When searching through incidents got too draining to continue, you tried to take a nap before your shift. But your mind refused to calm down, even with the support of an extra-strength melatonin tablet. You fell asleep eventually but were awoken by your alarm only thirty minutes later, bleary and confused.
It was strange driving to work so late at night. The roads were empty, and the employee parking lot at the Pizzaplex was nearly deserted. The deep shadows and lack of people made the hair on the back of your neck stand up. You couldn’t help but look around anxiously, your eyes tricking you into seeing movement in the darkness.
The front entrance was closed by the time you came in for your shift, which seemed like an oversight for all the night shift employees. But whatever. You went in through a back entrance that unlocked in response to your Security Level. Inside, the massive Pizzaplex was desolate except for some STAFF bots that served as patrolling security units. It was so strange. Even though your shift yesterday had gone past closing time, it was entirely different to walk in and see it all empty from the get-go.
Well. Your FazWatch wasn’t giving you any tasks right away. You could probably head to the Daycare.
And so, for the fifth time that week, you walked there, glancing around for people who were watching. Seth’s warning about the Daycare yesterday had made you paranoid. But there was no one there. Didn’t change the fact that you were probably on camera, but it made you feel better.
Sun was waiting for you today. You could see him through the glass surrounding the playplace, anxiously bouncing in place. That bouncing became much more excitable when he saw you coming. You chuckled and waved. He waved back.
The moment you walked into the play area through the big wooden doors, he started talking. “I’m so glad to see you’re alright, friend! I was reeeaally nervous after you had to sudden leave last night, heheh. But it looks like you’re okay! Well you still have those old injuries, which you really should get looked at soon, but nothing new! I-I remember what you said about Moon being able to roam the building. Did you—did you see him last night?”
“Uhhh, yeah, once,” you said. “Lean back a bit, bud, don’t loom over me like that.”
Sun had indeed been leaning over you, but he jerked back as soon as you said that. “Sorry! I didn’t know I was doing that, I swear.”
“Nah, I get it. You’re just worried about me.” You reached out and patted Sun’s arm. “No need, though. Like I said, I saw Moon, but only once.”
“Did he... do anything?” Sun asked.
“Nope.” You shook your head. “He grilled me about my sleep schedule, which was a bit weird. Then I mentioned that we wanted to reopen the Daycare. And for that to happen, we needed him to stop doing stuff like dropping people from bridges. Not sure how he felt about that.” You paused, gauging Sun’s own reaction. He wasn’t looming anymore, instead playing with his bells and ribbons again. Still nervous, then? “He said a few weird things.”
“Oh?” Sun’s face rotated to the side. “Like what?”
“Well, first, when I said I wanted to help, he said ‘you can’t.’”
“That’s a bit rude.”
You laughed. “I guess. He definitely sounded sure about it. Which... was weird. I-I tried to get him to tell me what happened. You know, what started the whole... incidents thing.”
Sun stopped fidgeting.
“You okay, bud?” You asked.
“Y-yes, I’m sorry.” Sun nodded. “Keep going. Did he say anything? D-did he tell you? What happened? Was it r-really a glitch?” His whole posture was tense. Waiting. Leaning forward again, as if he was desperate to hear what you said.
“He didn’t... say anything,” you admitted. “Just that ‘you can’t’ thing.”
Sun’s shoulders slumped, and his voicebox made a sighing sound. “I guess that would have been too easy.” He was clearly disappointed, but not surprised. If anything, he sounded... resigned.
“I guess, yeah.” You coughed. “Anyway. Is there anything you want to do today? I don’t have any tasks yet, but they could appear at any minute, so nothing that takes too long.”
“Oh!” Sun’s posture popped back up. “I was thinking about this all day, actually, but if we’re going to get the Daycare reopened we need to make sure everything is clean for the kids!” He spun around, gesturing at the whole play area. “We need to be sure everything is in its place!”
“Uhhh... I think we’ll need to do more than that, Sun,” you said. “I mean, I love how you’ve been keeping everything orderly in here, but we probably need to, uh... dust things and disinfect them and stuff.”
“Yes! That too.” Sun’s head and torso twisted back around to look at you. “I haven’t been able to do that because there were never any supplies in the places where I could still roam. But now that you’re here we can get some more!”
You nodded slowly. “Right. Hang on.” You check the map on your FazWatch, but, as usual, it was not very helpful. “Uh... I’m not sure where the closest storage closet is, but I can go look around. There has to be one in the area.”
“There’s a lot of storage area beneath the theatre,” Sun suggested.
“Great, I’ll check there first.” You looked up at Sun and gave him a little salute. “Be right back, bud.”
“Be right back!” Sun watched you as you turned and left.
By the time you found the cleaning supplies, loaded them onto a cart, and slowly dragged them back to the daycare, it was 12:30. There hadn’t been a single task assigned to you yet, which was super lucky, but you were sure the tasks were coming. Right now, though, you were more concerned with Sun and Moon. There was something else Moon said last night that you thought Sun needed to hear. You just weren’t sure how to bring it up.
“That’s a big cart of stuff, friend!” Sun held open the door for you when you returned. “Here, let me help. You shouldn’t be pushing something this heavy!” As soon as the cart was mostly through, he grabbed the front end and pulled it into the center of the play area.
“Yeah, I know, I know,” you said, letting go of the cart so Sun wouldn’t end up pulling you along as well. “And I know it’s a lot of stuff. I, uh... thought we’d need it.” You don’t even want to think about how much dirt and grime covers everything in this area. Though you’ll soon be forced to confront it. “Alright. Speaking of physical limitations, I don’t think I can clean the inside of the play structures. Can you get in—wait, yes, you can.” Moon had climbed inside the play structures on Tuesday when he was chasing you. Sun shouldn’t be any different.
“Alright, I can start on that right away, then!” Sun began examining the cleaning products, picking each one up before putting it back down. “Hmm... I think this will work! Oh, and I see you brought a mop and bucket!”
“Yeah, I would’ve been here sooner if I wasn’t filling that up.”
“That’s okay, friend, it’s more important to be thorough the first time! Okay, you use the mop and start cleaning up the floors. Be sure not to trap yourself in a corner!”
You chuckled. “Yeah, I’ll be careful.” Then you checked your FazWatch. Still no new tasks. Huh. Strange. Well, you’re not about to look a gift horse in the mouth. “Keep in mind, I could need to leave at any moment.”
“Keeping it in mind!” Sun gave a little twirl, then headed off towards the nearest play structure with two bottles of cleaning products and all the washcloths you’d brought. “Clean up, clean up!” you heard him chant as he headed out.
“Clean up, clean up,” you repeated absentmindedly, and started pushing the mop and its wheeled bucket over to the back of the daycare.
For a while, you just mopped, putting on your headphones and turning up the music to keep your mind busy. It didn’t fully work. You were still thinking about last night’s brief talk with Moon. Hard not to dwell on it. He hadn’t said much, but what he did say was so weird...
You were so concentrated on the memories and the mopping that you just about jumped out of your skin when something moved in your peripheral vision. Shrieking, you spun around—only to see Sun also jumping back, raising his hands in a “don’t shoot me!” sort of gesture. “Jeez, Sun.” You paused your music. “Don’t sneak up on me like that.”
“I’m sorry, friend! I thought you could hear me!” Sun said. “I guess your music was really loud. You shouldn’t turn up the volume so high, you know! It can damage your hearing, and besides that, what if someone else was sneaking up on you? Someone wh-who wasn’t... so nice?”
“All very good points,” you muttered. “Anyway, did you want to talk to me or something?”
“Ah, well you see, friend, after yesterday I’ve been keeping a close eye on my internal clock, to not lose track of the time,” Sun explained. “I thought you should know it’s currently 12:45! Ten minutes until lights off.”
“Ohhh right.” You nodded. “Thanks, Sun. I’ll set a timer for five minutes. Then you’ll want me to leave the daycare, right?”
Sun nodded back. He was swaying back and forth in an almost absentminded way.
“Alright.” As you set the timer on your phone, you decided that this was as good a moment as any. “Speaking of yesterday... Moon said something else strange when I talked to him last night.”
“O-oh?” Sun’s face rotated to the side. “What is it?”
“He said...” You hesitated. “He said that you hate him.”
Sun stopped swaying.
“I-it was almost completely unprompted, too. I mean, I was talking about how we wanted to help, a-and that ‘we’ includes you, too, and he just... said that. And I just...” You paused. It was hard to ask this. “I just... want to know... why he said that. If he thinks that for a good reason.”
No answer. Sun looked down, staring at his hands as he clasped them together. You simply waited for him to say something. A solid few seconds passed before he did, speaking in the quietest voice you’ve ever heard him use. “Hate... is a... strong feeling. I-I don’t think... Moon’s not exactly the easiest person to like, but... That’s such a strong word.”
You stared at him. “I know you’re scared of him,” you said quietly. “It’s okay to have... other strong feelings.”
“No, no, I-I don’t think I—! Oh, i-it’s so hard.” Sun shook his head and folded his arms. He kicked at the mats on the ground—slightly more colorful now that you’ve wiped away some of the dirt.
“Feelings are hard,” you admitted. “It’s fine to not have them all figured out.”
“Did Moon say he hates me?” Sun asked quietly.
“...No. All he said about you was that you weren’t scary.” You paused. “Do you think he hates you?”
The lack of an answer was answer enough. Then, suddenly— “Oh goodness! I almost forgot I was cleaning!” Sun’s head popped back up, and he jumped into a straighter, more energetic pose. His voice was cheerful again. "I should get back to that! Remember, friend, you have to be out of the daycare before lights out! But you should come back later, too!”
“Wha—”
And before you could say anything, he was gone.
...How did an animatronic that big move that fast?
And then your timer went off. You sighed, and walked towards the wooden doors. “I’m heading out now, Sun!” you called.
Sun shouted something back, but you had trouble figuring out what it was, since it was echoing from inside one of the plastic play tunnels. Maybe “be safe” or “be careful.”
“I’ll be back!” you shouted, and then left through the big wooden doors.
You sat down at one of the tables—the same one where you’d taken that lunch break on your first day—and took your sketchbook out of your pocket. The one you’d been using to take notes about the weird stuff around the Daycare. You wanted to quickly review what you already had. The list of plausible incidents, mostly. You frowned as you scanned them. If even half of these were true, would anyone want to come back to the Daycare if you somehow managed to get it opened again?
And then the lights went out.
At the same time, you heard a ping! “New task added!”
You groaned. Seemed you wouldn’t be able to head right back into the daycare to clean some more. Not just yet. You took your company-issued flashlight out of your bag and turned it on, lying it down on the table so the beam was pointing at the wooden doors but still lighting up the table area. Just in case a certain animatronic wanted to stick his head out. Then you checked the glowing FazWatch screen. And groaned again, even louder. It seemed you were required to transport some endoskeleton parts through the utility tunnels to Parts and Service. Great. That wouldn’t take forever at all! It was totally a reasonable request to ask the person with an injured back and ribs to push heavy carts down long, winding tunnels! You couldn’t believe that Sun had been more considerate when he’d taken the cleaning cart from you earlier. A literal robot had more empathy than whoever was handing out these tasks.
Anyway, you should probably explain to Sun why you disappeared while the lights were out. Otherwise he might have a panic attack. God, were you really worried about a robot having a panic attack? Yes. Yes you were. It felt like a valid worry to have.
You looked up and stared at the wooden doors for a moment. No sign of Moon opening them. So you turned your attention back to your sketchbook, took a pencil out of your pocket and wrote on the nearest blank page: Got a task. Will take a while. Be back later. See you then :) You signed your name, then carefully tore the page out and stood up. You picked up the flashlight and walked up to the playplace wall.
It took a moment to find a spot where the note could be pressed against the glass without any tape, but eventually you slid it into a small gap between the glass and a decorative cloud. You turned back around, the flashlight beam swiveling in a wide arc—
And landing on Moon, crouching on the table you’d just left.
“Holy shit!” You started, making the flashlight beam jerk. Moon jumped into the air—and just kept going up. Before he completely disappeared into the darkness, you noticed the hard-to-see black wire attached to his back. Oh. So that’s what the loop on their back was for. Made sense. You vaguely recalled Sun mentioning “flying trips” being “forbidden for a while.”
But how did Moon leave the daycare without you noticing?!
You hurried back over to the table, flashlight darting around. You used it to scan the walls, the ceiling, everywhere you could see.
And you caught sight of Moon again. Now he was back in the daycare, clinging to the mesh netting that covered the top of the play area. Like some freaky spider robot. The moment you noticed him, he turned and scuttled head-first down the mesh, disappearing into the daycare. “...alright, Dracula,” you muttered. “Lizard-crawling man. Er, animatronic? Ah, whatever.”
That wire must have somehow transported him in and out. You weren’t sure exactly how it worked. Maybe there were tunnels of some kind? Moon had seemed familiar with those wall-tunnels in the West Arcade.
Whatever. You had a task to do. The sooner you got it over with, the sooner you could come back. You reached down to grab your sketchbook... and noticed something strange. There was more stuff on the page with the list of incidents. Writing. Definitely not yours.
Moon had been at this table when you’d turned around. Crouching right on top of it like a little gremlin. Was this... his? The letters were cramped together in a sharp scrawl, written in that darker gray that you got when you pressed down harder on the pencil. You could make out three phrases in this new handwriting: DIDNT HAPPEN, NOT REAL, WASNT ME. Each seemed to be connected to one of the incidents on the list via a drawn line.
...Interesting.
You closed the sketchbook, picking up your pencil and putting it back in your pocket as you walked out of the Daycare area. This warranted further examination. But after you finished your task. You wanted to take care of that as soon as possible, because god knew it would take a long time.
And indeed it did. In fact, it took the whole hour. It could have taken a shorter amount of time, but you had to go slow. You know. On account of the injuries that you’d explicitly told management about. Did they think that two days was enough to recover ? Because it certainly was not. Maybe you could do some of the lighter tasks, but something like this? Loading a cart full of endoskeleton parts, then pushing that cart through the utility tunnels with these weird doors you had to constantly open and close, then unloading the parts inside Parts and Service... It was a bit more physically intensive. You had to take frequent breaks to catch your breath and recover. Maybe you should have brought that ice pack again, but you thought it would be fine.
You took a shortcut back up to the surface of the Pizzaplex: the showtime elevator. It was kind of cool to come up onto the stage. You knew how to get to the Daycare from here, but you were still exhausted from pushing a heavy cart through narrow tunnels. Time to take a short break.
The nearest place to sit was inside one of the photo booths dotted around the floor, so you climbed inside one and took your sketchbook back out, turning it to the list of incidents Moon had vandalized. It seemed like he’d decided to correct you by nixing out two of the incidents as fake. And the last one as being apparently “not him,” which surprised you a bit. That one was about a parent getting their arm broken by the Daycare Attendant. Was Moon lying, or was that...?
Suddenly, the lights outside of the photo booths went out. Right. It was 1:55, time for the hourly five-minute darkness. Guess you were staying in the booth until it was done. Though, actually... you had an idea.
You took out your flashlight and pencil and wrote a note on a blank page of your sketchbook: You’re not messing with me about the incident list, are you? And if you’re not, is it just those three you have a problem with? Were the rest really you? Why?
And then you leaned out of the photo booth and placed the open sketchbook and your pencil on the floor next to it.
About a minute passed before you heard the distinct mechanical noises of the Daycare Attendant’s movement. Sounded like Moon had gone out into the Pizzaplex. Maybe looking for you. And, judging by how the noises were right outside the photo booth, he’d found you.
For the next few moments, you wondered if it had been a stupid idea to corner yourself inside a small room with a dangerous animatronic right outside. Then you decided it probably had been. And you mentally cursed yourself. It was your own damn fault if something happened.
You could actually see the red glow of Moon’s eyes coming from around the curtain. The glow brightened for a few seconds as he turned to look at the photo booth. And then the side of the curtain moved. A mechanical hand inched into the gap, easily recognizable as Moon’s. The hand waved... and then disappeared. The red glow faded, and the mechanical movement sounds vanished.
Your heartbeat slowed down and you let out a deep breath. The trill of anxiety you’d felt was now fading to annoyance. “You’re real funny, Moon,” you muttered. “I swear, you did that just to freak me out. ‘Hey look at me, I’m a scary animatronic,’ that’s not gonna stop me from getting weirdly attached to you and Sun.”
The lights turned back on, and you pulled back the photo booth curtain. Outside looked the same. Your sketchbook and pencil were on the floor where you’d left them. But you could see that something had changed. More dark writing, taking up half the page. Carefully leaning down, wincing as the motion hurt your back, you picked up the book and pencil and read what was written there.
NO. YES. YES. YOU SHOULD BE ASLEEP.
...Well. Moon had answered three of your four questions, and then told you off for being awake at night again. Was that in his programming or was he just being irritating on purpose? You were more and more convinced it was the latter.
You weren’t surprised that Moon hadn’t answered your “Why?” question. But you were disappointed.
You were also disappointed that he’d used half the page to write seven words, wasting a lot of the space, but that was a different issue.
Closing the sketchbook again, you left the photo booth and headed back to the daycare.
“Hello again, friend!” Sun immediately greeted you as soon as you walked in. “You’re really back!”
“Yep, I’m really back,” you said. “What, did you think I’d just leave?”
Sun gave a little laugh. “Well, it was a while, after all! And the lights went out, and I-I was—Anyway, while you were gone, I kept cleaning!”
“Yeah, I can see that.” Sun seems to have left most of the floor alone, perhaps leaving that for you to do, but you could see the gleam of water on one of the plastic play structures. Sun must have wiped it down. “There’s still a lot to do, but great job!”
“Thank you!” You could hear a smile in Sun’s voice to match his face. “Still a lot to do, a lot to do, but progress is progress!”
“We should try to get as much done as we can before the weekend.” You dropped off your backpack behind the security desk—which you notice is still as dusty as ever—and headed over to where you’d been mopping earlier. Sun followed you, hovering close behind. “I mean, I guess you could keep going on your own, but you wouldn’t be able to go get more supplies if you run out, so you should be careful.”
“The... weekend?” Sun repeated, latching onto those two words.
“Well, yeah, I’m not gonna be here to help you,” you said casually. The mop was standing right where you left it, and you picked it up. “I don’t have any shifts.”
“But you could come anyway, a-as a guest!” Sun suggested.
“I guess I could, but I don’t know if I’ll be able to get in,” you explained. “Apparently your security permissions are turned off on days you don’t have shifts. Something about safety from past employees, I dunno, I didn’t really pay attention to the reason part of the email. So I’d need a pass to get in, and I doubt they’d sell ones to get into the daycare, since it’s closed...” Sun was being pretty quiet. You looked back at him. He’d stopped following you. “Sun? You okay, dude?”
“Oh! Yes, of course!” Sun perked up and skipped over to where you were. “I just—o-of course you wouldn’t be able to get in, I-I don’t know why—of course! Of course.”
You stared at him. Guilt curled around your stomach. Sun had been stuck here for months, with seemingly no visitors. No wonder he was so clingy. No wonder he depended on you coming every day. No wonder he was worried you wouldn’t come back earlier. “It’s going to be fine,” you said quietly. “It’s only two days. I’ll be here on Monday.”
“I know that.” Sun nodded. “You don’t have to worry about me! I’ll be fine.”
“Yeah, well...” You weren’t sure how to finish that. Was there anything you could do? “What if, uh... Would it help if you had something to do while I was gone?”
“I can clean the daycare! Do anything we don’t finish today!”
“No, I mean like—besides that,” you said. “Uh, do you still have that bin of colored pencils and stuff?”
“Well it wouldn’t disappear into thin air, would it?” Sun put his hands on his hips and shook his head playfully. You got the feeling he was laying it on a little bit. “Here, if you want it, I’ll go get it!”
“That’s not why—aaaaand you’re gone, of course you are.” You sighed. You wondered if all animatronics in the Pizzaplex could move that fast, or if it was just Sun and Moon. There was no way for you to know until the Glamrocks were finished being repaired. Well, while Sun was gone, might as well continue mopping.
He was back in just a few minutes, of course. “Here you are, friend!” he called. “I’ll put this right by the desk. We wouldn’t want to get any paper wet, or get the newly cleaned daycare dirty!” And he did so, then skipped back over to where you were standing and waiting.
“Thanks, Sun, but uh... I was wondering if you wanted to do it,” you said.
“Hmm? Me?” Sun’s face rotated to the side. “Why would I need to use the crayons?”
“Well, maybe you won’t need to, but it might be a good way to pass the time while I’m not here.” You looked down at the floor as you wiped the mop from side to side over the same colored tile. “I’d like to see what you draw.”
“Oh, I’m sure it’s not as good as anything you’ve done!”
“I’d still like to see it.” You shrugged. “Skill isn’t the thing here. I think you’d have fun. And that’s what matters. If you don’t like drawing, of course, you don’t have to, but I just thought, you know?”
Sun didn’t answer. His face rotated back to normal. You could have sworn he looked thoughtful. “I didn’t usually do the drawing, that was mostly the kids. The supplies are for them! And for any other guests, of course. So I didn’t want to use them up! But sometimes one of the little ones would ask, and I would try...” He trailed off. “Are you sure, friend? What if I end up using the supplies all up? We’ll need them for the daycare!”
“I don’t think you’d use them all up,” you reassured him. “Maybe if you spent two days straight drawing, but that’s not what I’m suggesting. Just... a few pieces of paper, you know?”
Sun nodded. “Alright. I’ll try! I’ll make you proud!”
You laughed. “Don’t worry about that. Just do what you want.”
“I will! Oh, but right now, we need to keep cleaning!” He spun around and ran back to the cart. “It needs to be all clean! All clean!”
“All clean,” you repeated, nodding. It would be a while before the daycare was close to ‘all clean,’ but as Sun said earlier, progress was progress.
You spent most of the rest of your shift in the daycare, trying to get the dirt off everything. Emphasis on trying. Nine months of abandonment had really done a number on the place. You were getting the surface layer of dust off everything, but there was grime around the edges of the room and play structures that wouldn’t go away with simple soap and disinfectant. This was definitely going to be a multi-day project.
Sun continued to take care of the play structures, leaving the floor, walls, and desk area for you. The two of you didn’t talk too much, as you turned on your music again. But you did let him know once when you were going to refill the mop bucket with some clean water. And he let you know when it was getting close to 2:55 and the hourly lights-off.
Not much happened during that five minute period. You sat at the same table you’d sat at earlier, outside the daycare, and watched for signs of Moon. He was being a real cryptid today. You saw him climbing on the mesh nets again, but he didn’t do anything beyond stare at you for a few seconds before disappearing. Was he avoiding you? Or... avoiding seeing you in person, at least? He didn’t have any trouble getting close to you a couple days ago. Was this related to...
“You can’t.”
Those words were burned into your brain. Something about the denial, the refusal to accept help, made it hard to forget them.
You took your break once the lights turned back on. Today, you’d packed your own lunch, since you weren’t sure if the restaurants in the Pizzaplex would be able to make food during the night shift. And then it was back to cleaning. It was starting to get tiring, but you weren’t about to leave it all for Sun to do. Your pace had definitely slowed, though, so you spent this hour trying to dust and organize the security area, a fairly easy task. And one where you could duck under the desk and take a break every couple minutes.
The 3:55 light-out was pretty much identical to the last one. Afterwards, you went back into the daycare and tried to continue cleaning the desk area. But there was still a lot to do, and you were exhausted. Maybe you should take a break. The desk area didn’t have any chairs, so you sat on the floor beneath the desk and closed your eyes...
Ping! “New task added!”
And then you jolted awake, neck and shoulders stiff, to that familiar notification sound. What the...? What time was it? You checked your phone. 4:47 am. Nearly an hour had passed. Huh. Maybe Moon was right. It was past your bedtime.
But, unfortunately, you needed to keep this job, so couldn’t just nap the whole time. You shook your head of sleep and checked the new task on your FazWatch. They wanted you to... move endoskeleton parts to Parts and Service. “Are you Faz-fucking kidding me?!” you shouted. That was the exact same thing they made you do earlier! What the hell?!
“Friend, is everything alright?” Sun called from inside one of the play structures.
“Yeah, it’s fine!” You pulled yourself back up using the desk. It was easier on your injuries than just standing up unassisted. “I just got another task. It’s gonna take a while, so I won’t be back before my shift ends.”
“Oh. Alright! Wait one second!” Loud thumps came from one of the play structure’s slides. You saw it shudder slightly, and then Sun rolled out from the end, head over heels in a somersault. He kept rolling and stopped not too far from the desk, immediately springing up with arms extended overhead.
“Nice!” You clapped, impressed. “That was like a circus trick or something, how you just jumped up like that.”
“Yes, thank you, thank you.” Sun bowed to an imaginary audience. Then he walked over to the plastic bin of drawing supplies by the desk, bending over and opening it. He took something out, then leaned over the desk to hand it to you. “Here you go!”
“Huh?” You took the offered item. A twelve-pack of colored pencils. Clearly used, given how one of the cardboard flaps was torn off and the pencils were all different lengths. “Why’re you giving this to me?”
“Well, I thought you could use it!” Sun said, standing up straight. “Though it does belong to the daycare so... you might want to bring it back on Monday. So nobody gets in trouble!”
You raised an eyebrow. Was this Sun’s way of making sure you came back? It was harmless enough, so you didn’t mind. “Sure, Sun. I’ll be back to drop these off on Monday.”
“Please do! W-we don’t want anyone to get in trouble.” Sun gave a nervous little laugh. “I’ll see you then, then?”
“See you then, Sun.” You smiled. “Promise.” You picked up your backpack and headed out. “Goodbye for now!”
“Goodbye friend!” Sun waved as you left. Even once you’d left through the big wooden doors, you could see him continuing to wave as you left the whole Daycare area.
The lights went off as soon as you found one of the stairwells down into the utility tunnels. That wasn’t unexpected by now, but you felt uneasy walking down flights of stairs in the dark. Even when you were armed with a flashlight. So you leaned against the wall and took out the sketchbook. If earlier tonight was any indication, Moon would be trying to find you—even though he didn’t seem to want to talk to you. But he was fine with writing earlier, at the photo booth.
After about a minute of thinking, you write down, Is there any particular reason you don’t want to explain anything to me? Or are you not going to explain THAT, either?
And then you opened the stairwell door and set the sketchbook on the ground outside with your pencil. And waited.
You were starting to get worried that this plan wasn’t actually going to work when you heard the sound of mechanical movement outside the door. The noise died down for a while, almost disappearing. You saw the door start to creak open, but then close again, and the noises started again before fading away. So... Moon wasn’t going to try and scare you this time. While you were grateful, you were also confused.
Inevitably, the lights returned. You opened the door and picked up the sketchbook and pencil. There was a response to your writing, but it wasn’t very long... or very helpful.
STOP ASKING QUESTIONS.
“I most certainly will not,” you said. And then you felt strangely embarrassed for saying that out loud. Why? It’s not like anyone could hear you. You were alone in an empty stairwell, feeling self-conscious for no reason.
Quickly, you put the sketchbook back in your backpack. You still had that task to do. So you headed down into the tunnels.
Even though you didn’t understand why the fuck someone would want you to do the same exact thing only a few hours apart, you did it anyway. Maybe there was a reason. Maybe they needed more parts than expected. Or maybe you brought the wrong ones the first time. Whatever it was, you hoped that reason was worth the two long, difficult trips. Why didn’t Fazbear have robots to do this sort of stuff?
By the time you arrived at Parts and Service, your legs and arms were aching from the effort of pushing the cart. Not to mention the stitch in your side that was sending pain up your bruised ribs every time you breathed. Maybe you weren’t as good at manual labor as you thought you would be. Or maybe it was the injury slowing you down. Damn it, Moon!
You didn’t even bother to take the parts off the cart. Instead you just left it by the room entrance and left. If someone needed these parts so urgently, surely they wouldn’t mind putting everything away. They would be more qualified than you.
It was 5:50 when you found yourself back in the main lobby. You were about ready to just head out, but the main doors were still closed. Rather than walk all the way through the Pizzaplex to another entrance, you decided to wait, and sat down on the little ledge around the giant golden statue.
You wanted to relax, but somehow, you found yourself pulling out your sketchbook again. You reread what Moon wrote. STOP ASKING QUESTIONS. Why was he so touchy about this?
It probably wasn’t a good idea to push a hostile animatronic too far, but you couldn’t help yourself. You had to know what was going on. Why? Were you just excited by the mystery? Or did you actually care? You knew you cared about Sun, even though you’d only met him a few days ago. But did you care about Moon, too? Was that it? If it was, what was wrong with you? Why were you feeling bad for the robot that dropped you from ten feet in the air?
Hesitantly, you wrote something new down on the page. There was still plenty of space for it.
I want to help. And it’s hard to do that when I don’t know what’s going on.
Because you did want to help. It wasn’t fair that Fazbear had abandoned Sun and Moon. Even if the daycare had been closed for a reason, you couldn’t believe they would just leave them there. They seemed so human. How could anyone leave them to rot like that?
The lights were about to go off. You left your sketchbook open on the ledge, along with the pencil, then swung your backpack onto your back and stood up, walking around the statue and sitting down again on the other side of it. You took out your flashlight and waited.
The Pizzaplex went dark. You moved your flashlight around the area, the light catching on some of the STAFF security bots. A couple minutes passed. You couldn’t hear any of those mechanical noises—
A snarl came from behind you.
You jumped, swiveling around and instinctively pointing the flashlight towards the sound. On the other side of the statue, you saw a familiar moon-faced robot duck out of sight. Okay. So Moon was right where you wanted him to be. Doesn’t mean that sound didn’t scare you, or that you weren’t nervous as you slowly turned back around.
Who programmed an animatronic to make that noise? Why the hell would you do that?
More sounds. Growls, this time. Your shoulders raised, and you glanced back over your shoulder without pointing your flashlight. Moon’s glowing eyes weren’t focused on you. He sounded... angry. No, wait. Frustrated.
Then you saw him fly into the air again. He was gone. And only a couple minutes later, the lights turned back on.
You stood and slowly walked back over to where you’d left your sketchbook. As expected, Moon had written some more, but this time... they weren’t words. Just scribbles. You could make out the vague shape of letters beneath them. Combined with the frustrated growling earlier, you assumed that Moon hadn’t been satisfied with what he was writing, and decided to just cover it all up.
Not all of the scribbles were in regular pencil. Apparently the packet of colored pencils Sun had given you fell out of your backpack when you stood up, and Moon had decided to use one. The purple one. It was broken in half now, but you could see the evidence on the page. You couldn’t quite tell what Moon was trying to write. It didn’t look like words beneath the purple scribbles. Just some shapes. You could pick out two tall loops, but nothing else.
This was all so weird. Unfortunately... you couldn’t stay to check it out. It had been a long day. You needed to go home and go to sleep. Surely Moon would approve. So you collected your sketchbook and pencils, put them in your backpack, and headed out through the front doors.
As you walked out, you almost didn’t notice the front entrance’s new decoration. Almost. But then you glanced back over your shoulder at the right time and saw the large banner stretching over the doors. Large blocky letters read THE GIRLS ARE BACK! with smaller letters beneath them listing Monday’s date. On either side of the words were cartoon drawings of two of the Pizzaplex’s animatronics: Roxanne Wolf and Glamrock Chica.
So the Glamrocks had been repaired? Or, some of them, at least? Cool. Neat. Strangely enough, you weren’t as excited as you thought you would be.
You were already looking forward to seeing a different animatronic again on Monday.
