Note
that Echo Flower button up that Sans is wearing in one of your drawings would be real cool if it was to exist (unless it was made of polyester) as the design is well made.
Image for reference:

I'm glad you think it'd be cool!!! I also think it'd be really cool. I'd LOVE to make it real but AHH finding manufacturers for non polyester button ups has been driving me crazy egfjdbdk
But I mean... if people are interested, I'll see what I can do in the future 👀

This is just me throwing spaghetti at the wall, but are there any Kingdom Hearts artists that would be interested in doing something like a sticker rally to raise funds for aid work in Palestine?
I don't have any first-hand experience with physical goods, but I was thinking stickers are low-cost enough that they'd been the most efficient thing to offer and designs could be continually added over time from many different contributors. I've been trying to come up with something I could do with what little time and resources I have, and now the idea is at a point where I simply have to shout it into the void to see if anything echoes back.

One of the most lamentable ramifications from the transition to digital distribution is the dwindling need for developers to employ competent designers/advertisers to generate publicity in tangible formats - magazine ads, posters, postcards, or, in this case, insanely great flyers. me bored and looking at the heads for the ACs and noting the design philosophy between them and the cool details this informs on the corporation:
BALAM
Tumblr media
So, overwhelmingly, Balam (and Dafeng) seem to prefer a cyclops-style for their ACs' 'eyes', with the distinct exception of Verrill. In the head's description, it noted that Michigan insisted on the 'spider-like' eye design, which is a stark deviation from Balam's design norm. A holdover from Furlong? (we'll circle back to that in a minute)
ARQUEBUS AND SCHNEIDER
Tumblr media
Arquebus and Schneider tend to prefer a "light-strip" style of eye, though the lamm is, again, a deviation. Considering the lamm is an experimental style AC, I'm gonna put that down as an outlier. The light-strip style eye kinda fits with Arquebus's and Schneider's "style" focus on their AC, and it comes across as very futuresque.
ELCANO
Tumblr media
And we're circling back to my Furlong point earlier. Elcano are known to focus on artistic designs with their ACs, and while Alba has been stylised (those very important wolf ears), it was constructed in partnership with Furlong, if I remember. As Elcano preferred a kind of grid/cyclops combo with Firmeza, the multi-eye design with Alba stands out a little.
So with Verrill, which has multi-eyes on Michigan's insistence, who was once part of Furlong, and Alba, which has multi-eyes when Elcano's prior AC design had a cyclops sort of design... then Furlong ACs likely prefer a multi-eye style for their ACs!
Considering Furlong are missile-orientated... I wonder if their ACs have specialise visual feeds to aid in targeting. Hm..

We made a "making of" video at work of my rainbow borb stickers and I'm just getting around to posting it on Tumblr lol. It is absolutely the coolest shit ever to work in a place where I can also make my own merch!
If you want to get your hands on a borb or three (or one of my other stickers), I sell them in my Ko-fi shop here! If you have sticker designs you want made, please give Rockin' Stickers a try! We're a small business in the PNW and we'd love to print your art on stickers! There's even a promotion going on at the time of this posting for $20 off, and thereafter you can still get in touch with me for my own super secret code. Also, feel free to DM me if you want a free sample pack to see what our materials/prints are like :3

Half an oyster shell demonstrating pearl shell button manufacture, circa 1875-1885
This object is part of a collection which illustrates how pearl shell was made into pearl buttons in Sydney in the 1930s. The display was given to the Museum by The Pearlbutton Manufacturing Company of Foster Street, Sydney, in 1933.
Pearl divers in places such as Thursday Island, Broome and Port Darwin harvested the Golden Lip pearl shell, (Pinctada maxima), from which the buttons were made. The shell was shipped to the Sydney factory for production. After cutting the button shaped pieces from the shell, the 'blanks' were then split to an even thickness, an operation performed by hand and one requiring considerable judgement and skill.
Buttons made from pearl shell were valued because they were durable and retained their lustre unaffected by washing. After World War II, plastics replaced pearl shell as the preferred material for buttons.
The Torres Strait supplied over half the world demand for pearl shell in the 1890s. In addition to buttons, pearl shell was used for cutlery, hair combs, jewellery, decorative objects and inlay for furniture. The Powerhouse Museum collection includes a variety of objects made from pearl shell.
