Down Bad Title Analysis
Definition: in a bad state or condition - such as 1. a feeling or marked by strong and usually unrequited feelings of attraction, desire, or infatuation 2. Depressed, despondent 3. Badly ill or injured
“You’ll see me in hindsight, tangled up with you all night, burning it down” - Wildest Dreams
Taylor has many songs with the word "bad" in them. So for the sake of the length of this post, I will only put the most relevant lyrics for TTPD (but click this if you want to read all of them.)
"Mr. Insincere apology so he doesn't look like the bad guy" - Mr. Perfectly Fine
"I want you bad but it's come down to nothing" - Bye Bye Baby
"You said there was nothing in the world that could stop it, I had a bad feeling / I knew there was no one in the world who could take it, I had a bad feeling" - Dancing With Our Hands Tied
"Bad bad boy, shiny toy with a price, you know that I bought it" - Cruel Summer
"Gave up on me like I was a bad drug, now I'm searching for signs in a haunted club" - Death By A Thousand Cuts
"Half-moon eyes, bad surprise, did you realize, out of time" - Question...?
"You did some bad things but I'm the worst of them" - Vigilante Shit
"Storm coming, good husband, bad omen" - High Infidelity
Other songs with the word bad: Picture To Burn, Sparks Fly, Superman, Electric Touch, When Emma Falls In Love, 22, Blank Space, Wildest Dreams, This Love, I Know Places, Bad Blood, End Game, The Man, Miss Americana And The Heartbreak Prince, Soon You'll Get Better, The Last Great American Dynasty, Invisible String, 'Tis The Damn Season, Long Story Short, Evermore, Only The Young
Taylor has an unreleased song titled Down Came the Rain that was recorded by Deric Ruttan. The song discusses a relationship that Taylor thought was going well, but actually wasn’t. It ended up with her getting broken up with and her partner moving on quickly while she was struggling to.
With all this information, I don't believe this Down Bad is going to be anything like "down bad" means on the internet. I don't think it's going to be sexual unless it's unrequited sexual attraction or her being more attracted to him than he is to her (a theme barely touched upon in Snow On The Beach). My theory (which can easily be wrong) is that this will be a song where she's realizing her partner is falling out of love with her while she is not. So, she would be down bad for him but he would be mildly interested at most.

Tiny in the snow Part 6!!!!!!
This might be the end but who knows, I still want to write an epilogue of these two being competent dumbasses cause Nok & Charlie both have one brain cell that pings back and forth aggressively between them
Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4, Part 5
The little one, Nok, they said their name was, had fallen asleep against their neck, Charlie’s hand laying over them like a blanket as their other reached for the phone on the coffee table, and it wasn’t long before they found the number they needed. “Kix, I have a favour to ask”
“Oh hey Charlie”, the modulated voice of Kixer replied, causing Nok to stir. “How can I be of service”
“I need you to find out what’s in Deric Walsh’s office”. It was silent for a moment, and Charlie worried that they wouldn’t take the, admittedly, boring job. But then Kix’s horribly modulated laugh busted through the phone, causing Charlie to flinch, which in turn startling Nok enough that they woke.
“Charlie, Charlie, Charlie”, Kix echoed, “you want me to fuck up your asshole of a cousin?”
“Uh…I mean I just need you to get into his apartment and find out what he’s keeping hidden?”
“You can keep your Favour. This ones on me”, their horrid laugh was back, and Charlie was tempted to just hang up on them and attend to the sweet little creature currently sliding down to rest in the crook of their neck. “I’ve always wanted to fuck that asshole up”
“Good to know your always down to screw over my family”
“Nah, just him. I’ll call you when it’s done”, and then they were gone, and Charlie sighed. Dealing with Kixer always seemed to leave them with a pounding headache, which was why they let others deal with their anonymous ally.
“Who was that?”, Nok’s little lilted voice whispered into their ear as they shuffled around under Charlie’s hand.
“That was Kixer”, Charlie chuckled softly as Nok continued to wriggle, their fluffy hair tickling the human’s palm. “They’re an Informant, of sorts. They tell us the safest way in and out of places, among other things”
“When your…Stealing?”
“It’s a bit of a Robin hood situation”, Charlie thought for a moment, “Except it’s not at all like Robin hood because we're all terrible. Not at our job, mind you. Just to each other”
“But why?”, Nok questioned. Ever since Charlie had gotten them talking, and after the awkward conversation about Deric, they had been nothing but questions. What’s this? Why’s that? Why why why? And it warmed their heart to see the little creature so full of life. They didn’t even mind that Nok had learned more about them in ten minutes than they had in two days.
“Cause we’re all reckless idiots with a passion for chaos”, Oh so carefully did they lean over, resting their cheek lightly on the giggling Nok, chuckling as they felt their tiny limbs halfheartedly push against the warm skin.
“Get off me! Your heavy!”. Charlie gasped dramatically, and when they had attempted to flip over onto their side to stare at Nok with an incredibly exaggerated look of hurt, they didn’t have ‘Fall off the couch like a fish’ on the agenda. But that’s what happened. And it caused Nok to laugh even harder.
“Oh laugh it up.”, A gentle pat was all it took to send Nok tumbling down from the arm of the couch and down to the cushions with a yelp, which in turn left Charlie laughing harder at the way they fought against the multitude of clothes they still had on, and they had to bite there tongue to refrain from calling them a turtle. “Are you stuck?”
When they did manage to fight their way out of what had to be at least another coat and three different shirts, they were dishevelled and fuming beyond belief. Their odd choppy mop of hair was sticking out in every which way, showing off their rosy ears and cheeks. “Now who’s stuck”
“Not me”, Charlie smiled cheekily, wiggling out of the small space between the lounge and coffee table that they had been cramped into, “If that’s what you were implying”
“Oh Curses”, They had to laugh at that, the little one never actually cursed, but the force behind their words still held strong. At least they were looking at them with anger and annoyance instead of the fear they had been the day earlier.
And then a low growl cut the impromptu staring contest in two, leaving their tiny guest even redder. With reminded Charlie that Nok hadn’t actually eaten anything since they had found them in the snow, an event that seemed so far in the past now, and who knows when the last time they had eaten before that was. Plus, Charlie realised with disdain, the last thing they had eaten was reheated Chinese, and that had been a good few hours ago.
And Nok hadn’t drank anything yet. God, Charlie really wasn’t cut out to be an adult.
“Come on”, Offering a hand to the tiny creature, Charlie smiled. “Let's get you something you eat”

Beginners Fitness - Secrets to Successful Workouts For Beginners
Spring is now with us and while in some places there is still snow falling, for other the sun is beginning to shine behind those big white clouds. Having spring come means only one thing, summer is soon to follow. Now many made New Year's resolutions in hopes that this year would be the year to change their bodies and finally get into shape. If you are like many, chances are the resolution like magic, disappeared. But it's not too late, ask yourself the following questions I will present to you and get back on track to getting into the best shape of your life. While these questions originally should be credited to Debbie Happy Cohen who is a success coach for many top-notch businesses, they are easily applicable to the world of health and fitness also.
As always, people made resolutions, from no longer being stressed, to managing their weight, to being better parents but often we have all failed to accomplish these goals. Instead of accepting this as the norm, you should ask why can not accomplish what I set out to do, why can not I make a new year's resolution and keep it. As far as fitness, after New Years, there is a sudden rush to join gyms, buy videotapes on fitness, and purchase all the gadgets shown on TV to change your look for good. There is nothing wrong with that. It is good you are trying to change your look. But the most important thing is to really have a plan on how to reach your goals.
With fitness goals, as with many other goals, there is a path, a road that is a tough journey that you must take to actually change your body and finally feel good about yourself. The solution to your fitness problems can and will come but first you must have a plan.
Your plan first starts with three easy steps you will need to really get that head start in 2006. Whether it is losing weight, fitting into a dress, or bulking up for the ladies when you go to Cancun during your summer break, you will have to plan. If you are going to be serious about changing the way you look, you need to start here.
First ask yourself, what is your goal? Do you want to lose fat, to gain muscle, lose your love handles, or lose weight? Once you decide on what your goal is, you will need to know what you have to do to get there: How often are you going to workout, what are you going to eat, when will you workout? Knowing what you need to do is important.
Lastly, you will need to ask what are you currently doing to help contribute to your goal. Are you moving around more? If so that is good because being active is key to burning calories. The things you are doing right keep them, and the things you are not doing right, get rid of. This is basically a behavioral change. You must change your outlook, your behavior, and your beliefs. This is not going to be easy. There will be a day that you will not want to workout, and that is not the end of the world. But having a plan to get into good shape will put you in the best possible position to succeed.
And one more other thing you must do is take HUGE action towards your goal. The combination of these questions will for sure put you mentally in the right capacity to see changes and finally get results.

Day Eleven: May 21, 2017 | Kühtai, Austria
There’s still snow even though it’s already spring time. As we got closer, it was literally a ghost town. I mean like almost all of the stores were closed because it was “off-season” meaning the place is only available when it’s ski season.
And now, we have arrived at Kühtai! We were able to park the van at a store/restaurant that it’s in a form of a house. It was closed and there were tables, benches and chairs outside. Here’s a photo of me and the pretty view from behind.
There are evene animals in the middle of the place. Hmmm, wondering where there owners are. We passed by a few houses on the way here but I only saw a few people walking around the streets.
After taking a few family and solo photos, we decided to drive down that lake. I think it’s a dam rather than a lake though.
The two tiny people are my sister and older brother. They went to the tip of the sand bar. Lol, the dam is pretty clean and the mountains. Damn.
Eventually, there sand is different from the ones back home. But I don’t know if it’s really sand or mud since it pretty sticky and it stains your shoes.
You see a roof at the left most side of the photo? Yeap, that’s where we came from. We drove down to get here.
Time to go up these alps. We went back in the car to drive up the hills. Eventually, mom was scared so we stopped before it got steeped and we all went to play with the snow. Took us about thirty minutes or so just goofing off and playing with snow and taking solo photos. This is the first time in my family we get to play with snow. The first time we were able to experience snow was in 2013. It was also the first time we went to Canada.
After playing around, it was time to leave. The view is even better up the hill. It even looks like it’s been painted. It was worth more than 196 Euros though it took us an hour to get here.
The view is also good from down the hill. Today was definitely one for the books. Too overjoyed even my siblings feel the same way too.
Time to get in the van since the sun was about to set.
Goodbye Kühtai! Didn’t expect anything form you but you turned out to be really beautiful and breathtaking at the same time.
Oh wait. we stopped only after five minutes from driving away from the dam and now we’re playing with snow still. Mom gave us around fifteen minutes to play and finally leave the place back to Innsbruck.
Out of the snow, we were able to make a mini snowman. Shout out to Kaitlyn, This is for you from me and Deric. Lol. Fifteen minutes is up and it’s time to go.
Drive back to Innsbruck

Game of Thrones | Trailer of Season 7 Episode 6 | White Walkers Attack
Game of Thrones | Trailer of Season 7 Episode 6 | White Walkers Attack #GoTS7e6 #GoTS7e5 #GoTS7 #GameofThrones
War Starts: The ending of the previous episode was really awesome, its because of the reunion of The Hound, Jon Snow, Ser Jorah Mormont, Gendry, Tormund, Deric Dondarrion and Top Knot Thoros. It was almost like a war of Extraordinary Gentlemen, this super team is well enough to deal with White Walkers. A Hint about Flaming Sword: I’m really exited to see the Flaming sword in the hands of Beric…

It was a Monday night in Ottawa and all through the city not a creature was stirring…except for a sold out crowd at the Algonquin Commons Theatre who packed the house for our favourite Canadian Kid, Brett Kissel and his Ice, Snow and 30 Below tour.

There’s no question that country music fans in Ottawa love Brett Kissel. I think it’s safe to say that Brett Kissel loves Ottawa too as he’s performed in Ottawa more often than most other Canadian country artists, 3 times in as many months including ringing in the New Year on the steps of Parliament Hill.
I’ve had the pleasure of covering a lot of shows at the beautiful Algonquin Commons Theatre over the last several years but I can’t recall a single show that got as loud as the crowd did last night for Brett. That sold out crowd was hungry for country music and that’s exactly what they got.
Country music tours have been following a bit of a “lather, rinse, repeat” theme over the last several years. Where the same headliners tour with a similar rotation of opening acts, Canadian country music has been no exception to this. When Brett first announced this tour many of us were expecting one of his Invictus Mates or Warner label mates to join him on his tour much like in the past. But Brett had other plans and we, for one, couldn’t be happier. Emerging artists are the lifeblood for any musical genre and for an artist of Brett’s calibre to open up his national tour to some of Ontario’s rising stars was extremely generous.
Abby Stewart
Abby Stewart at Algonquin Commons – photo credit to Scott Martin Visuals
The night started out with a performance by a young lady we’ve been talking about for a number of years now, Abby Stewart. Hailing from Kingston, Ontario Abby is loaded with so much talent it’s a treat to watch her hone her skills show after show. Every time I see her perform she moves the bar just a little bit higher.
Abby Stewart at Algonquin Commons – photo credit to Scott Martin Visuals
Last night Ottawa was in for a special treat as Abby was joined by her good friend, Beamer Wigley, for a few songs. Beamer flew in from Calgary especially for the show after having spent Sunday at the Alberta Country Music Awards, where his single “Meteorite” was nominated for Song of the Year. Beamer treated the crowd to a performance of his latest single “Boombox” before the duo, who has been busy of the last few months writing together in Nashville, performed a few songs together. The closed out their set with a chillingly tight performance of Jason Aldean and Kelly Clarkson’s hit “Don’t You Wanna Stay”. Take my word for it and keep your eye on these two because in the coming years you’ll be hearing their name’s a lot more often…count on it.
Brett Kissel

Brett Kissel hit the stage next and didn’t miss a beat kicking the show off with the first single off of ‘Pick Me Up’ “Airwaves”. The fuse was lit and the crowd was on fire. Every Brett Kissel show is a special event for the audience, something has to be said about the special bond he has with his fans. It goes without saying that most artists love their fans but Brett shares a deeper connection with his and I believe that’s part of what makes his performances so magical.
Tough People Do and I Didn’t Fall in Love with Your Hair
Brett Kissel at Algonquin Commons – photo credit to Scott Martin Visuals
Like most country music shows there was also a lot of deep emotion packed into last night’s performance. Brett lost his grandparents in 2011 to a two-vehicle crash in Alberta as they were enroute to watch him perform. Everything about this event speaks to the character of Brett Kissel, who kept a scheduled performance 2 nights after the accident but ended up having to cancel halfway through telling the crowd that his heart was willing, but his body just couldn’t do it. The event led Brett to write and dedicate the song “Tough People Do” for his grandparents. It was the first of two very emotional moments throughout the night that strengthen the bond between Brett and his fans, no doubt that Brett leans on his fans for strength in tough times and his fans draw strength from Brett to deal with their own tough times.
Brett Kissel at Algonquin Commons – photo credit to Scott Martin Visuals
The second of the two emotional moments came with Brett’s performance of his single “I Didn’t Fall in Love with Your Hair”. The song rings true for anyone with a loved one battling cancer and it’s clear that it has become an anthem for the philanthropic side of Brett who spoke highly of his support for the Canadian Cancer Society during our interview earlier in the day. The song is from the perspective of the partner of someone battling this horrible disease which, as Brett says, has touched far too many of us. The eyes welled up with tears and the room lit up with cell phone lights as Ottawa joined in chorus to sing this incredible song.

Brett wasn’t going to let the night end on a sombre note as he quickly picked up the pace and brought the party back by paying tribute to some legends. First he started with one of his idols Johnny Cash for which he went into the crowd and stood on a railing and sang “Ring of Fire” before returning to the stage for John Denver’s “Thank God I’m a Country Boy” and then capping it off with Garth Brooks’ “Baton Rouge” (“Baton Rouge”, incidentally is one of three songs Brett picked when answering a fan question asking which three songs Brett would chose if he could only sing 3 songs for the rest of his life.)
What would a Brett Kissel show in Ottawa be without a visit from his friend and fellow member of Invictus Entertainment Jordan McIntosh? Jordan was in the building and joined Brett to perform “Raise Your Glass”. As the night wound down Brett ended the show, or did he, the way it all began…with “Started with A Song”. But the crowd had other plans and they let him know to the extent that, I’m certain, a poor student in a residence nearby was having issues studying because of all the racket coming from the Theatre.
Brett and his band returned to the stage and delivered exactly what the crowd wanted….3, 2, 1! It was the perfect note to end the night on because I can assure you that I, as well as everyone in that sold out theatre, will be counting down the hours until we get to see Brett Kissel again! Something tells me he’ll be back in Ottawa again very soon, would love to see Brett on a stage at RBC Bluesfest this summer which has already seen performances by Tim Hicks and Dallas Smith.
Brett hits Sherbrooke, Quebec tonight for his only stop in La belle province. Local boy, Jon MacAulay, will be joining Brett tonight. Jon is a guitarist/singer from the Eastern Townships of Quebec, Canada. His repertoire combines elements of folk, blues, and jazz. Visit his website to learn more: www.jonmacaulaymusic.com
Following Quebec Brett jets off to Nova Scotia for 4 nights before heading slightly west for 2 shows in New Brunswick and then back east to wrap up his tour in beautiful Prince Edward Island.
Brett has taken the time to build a roster of emerging artists that he would like to introduce to his fans so we’d like to take a moment and introduce them to you. Rounding out Brett’s east coast dates are:

Ottawa gets loud as Brett Kissel brings Ice Snow and 30 Below to Algonquin It was a Monday night in Ottawa and all through the city not a creature was stirring...except for a sold out crowd at the Algonquin Commons Theatre who packed the house for our favourite Canadian Kid, Brett Kissel and his Ice, Snow and 30 Below tour.

Tiny in the snow part 5!!!!!
So this has no foreseeable end. It was supposed to be two or three parts at the most but now it's just turning into a series so
Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4, Part 5
As the human watched the tiny creature slumbering in their hand, their heart filled with an overwhelming sadness. The little one was just so small, and seeing them curl up tight, clutching a torn piece of paper had hurt more than they had thought possible. And oh when they had cried-
“Charlie! You big fucking nerd, open the door”, If the shouting hadn't startled them enough, then the pounding at the front door definitely spurred them into action. They had almost reached the door when they remembered their little guest and the bundle of clothes on the couch.
Fuck. The little one was not going to forgive them for this.
“Give me a minute!”, Carefully they slipped the tiny thing into their hoodie’s pocket while rushing back to the couch, unceremoniously shoving the makeshift nest under the coffee table and hiding any and all traces of the little guest before hurrying back to the door.
“Thank god. I thought I was going to freeze before you let me in”, Stepping through the threshold between the biting cold and warmth was the one person they really didn't want to see, nor have in their home right now. Deric. But they couldn't really think about their asshole of a cousin when their hidden passenger was wiggling around in an attempt at getting comfortable.
“Dude, you alright?”, Oh shoot. How long had they been standing there for, praying their cousin wouldn't notice their wiggling jumper? They quickly stuffed a hand into the pocket, cupping their sleeping guest as they closed the door.
“Yeah. Just been a bit distracted with work, ya know?”, Oh please don't have noticed the tiny hum of content from their pocket. “What do you need?”
Deric, for all his oddly preportioned face could do, actually looked surprised, though it was a face that you could only glean the meaning of if you had been around him for a truly ridiculous amount of time, mainly because he always pulled this sour little face that made him look like someone had pinched his face in and then made him eat three lemons. “It's movie night, remember? Or did you forget?”
“No”, Yes they fucking did! “Look, I hate to do this, but can we reschedule? I have some things to sort out for a job, and you know how these things are?”, God they hoped he didn't but at the same time, Deric had to leave now because the little one was stirring again and grabbing out at their hand and the jumper.
“What, you planing another Bank heist? How many times have I helped sort out the errors in your plans? God Charlie, just let me see the-”
“Deric. I need you to get out. Now”. The little one gasped, and Charlie could feel them scrambling around to get out of their hand, unfortunately, that left them few options, and they ended up half hanging out of their pocket before they could grab them.
And then their worst nightmare had come to fruition.
“Well now, what do we have here”, Deric made a grab for their guest, the poor dear too frightened to tear their wide eyes away, “Come now dear, I won't hurt you”
The tiny thing screamed when Deric made a swipe at their arm, but charlie was faster, grabbing their cousins wrist in a vice-grip. “Don't touch them”, the words spat like poison as they glared down at him, eyes burning and grip tightening. The very thought of their cousin getting his hands on the little sylph was enough to make them sick, but the idea of them pinned to one of his display boards like a butterfly was far too much to handle. “Now get out of my house”
Deric nodded, ripping his arm free as he staggered towards the door, and it wasn't until his car had started and the engine had faded into the snow did they stagger back to the couch, the little one safely tucked in their pocket as they fell back against the pillows.
“I'm so sorry little one”, Oh, the very thought of the tiny creature staring up at them with those frightened eyes was too much. “He won't ever come near you again”, Gods, the picture of their terrified eyes brimming with tears had branded itself to their eyelids. The little thing had looked so scared, horrified even at just the sight of Deric. Hell, they hadn't even looked at them with that much fear.
And then the tiny creature was moving, crawling out of their pocket and atop their chest before they could process the sight. And there they were, this tiny little thing, so perfect and full of life, staring with eyes brimming with starlight and wonder up at them, defiant against their trembles. All to ask a question that was so quiet that Charlie was almost afraid to breathe. “Who was he?”. Their voice was hoarse and croaky, worn from constant crying and lack of water, and Charlie briefly worried about the thimble full of water and how it had surely spilled. But that could be dealt with later, for now, their little guest was looking up at them, still waiting on an answer, and oh they were so light, their presence would hardly be noticeable unless one was looking at them. “He’s my Cousin. But I won't let him, nor anyone else hurt you. You have my word”
“I think...He killed my parents”
