TEAM AVATAR: Pokemon Edition Did a couple of these months ago, but always wanted to finish out the set with one Avatar for each element. Mostly just wanted an excuse to draw particular pokemon and it turned into this, lol.

Fire: Hoenn Legends Team [Deoxys, Primal Kyogre, Primal Groudon, Mega Rayquaza]
#Avatar#pokemon#fanart#crossover#Team Avatar#elements#almost made deoxys an earth avatar#in which case I would have gone for defense form rather than attack form#but lavabending primal groudon had to be an earthbender#wanted to do metalbender scizor for the Avatar for the bug team but#I found out I couldn't draw scizor lol#wish now I'd leaned into metalbending for bastiodon but wasn't thinking that far ahead then#Also Tyrantrum's not fire but#If not him it would have meant having to draw either Arctozolt or Dracozolt#Which I had to avoid at all costs

I am biased but the dandelion balloon one ;_;
oh that one! that one is still near and dear to my heart despite the fact its no longer up on the internet. i rly like its vibes and mood!
#fun fact: i had a second fanart idea off that one#making a fakemon design based on this#it was a whimsicott/eldegoss/kinda like that ish type of little guy#but with an attack/defense/speed forme in the pattern of deoxys based on elgara/sula/yavanna#the speed forme was obviously the dandelion yavanna#the defense forme was the sula just by exclusion. it had the long flowery hair as a cage of branches encasing it. like tangela but better#(the pokedex entry says it lets smaller pokemon hide there)#the attack forme went elgara and i abandoned bc i was unsatisfied w it#but the good part of the idea was that the solar ring symbol went Around is head. as petals and also referencing solar grass type moves#like solar beam#it was supposed to have hefty tree trunk arms#but then i was unsatisfied w how that little body with the tree trunk arms was balancing#and then two of the three were no more and the wip was left to die in an old sketchbook#linden leaf rustling
