Introduction
Far East Broadcasting Company (FEBC) Philippines, a beacon of Christian broadcasting, has reached a significant milestone—76 years of unwavering service in communicating Christ to the world. Founded on July 27, 1948, FEBC has dedicated itself to spreading the Gospel message, driven by the theme inspired by Philippians 1:6, “What He Began, He Will Complete.” This theme encapsulates the enduring mission and vision of FEBC as it continues to grow and evolve in its ministry.
The Legacy of Papuri!
One of the most remarkable aspects of FEBC’s history is Papuri! music ministry, which has been an integral part of the network for 46 years. Papuri! is more than just a music program; it is a movement that has brought together artists, composers, and listeners in a shared journey of faith and worship. Through its uplifting songs and inspiring messages, Papuri! has touched countless lives, providing a source of hope and encouragement to its audience.
The Campañer Family: A Testament of Dedication
A shining example of the dedication and talent within the Papuri! ministry is the Campañer family. Comprising Dennis Campañer, Charmaine Manalo-Campañer, and Trisha Denise, the family brings their musical gifts and heartfelt devotion to the Papuri! Radio Show’s Wednesday edition. Their contributions have enriched the program, creating a space where listeners can connect with God through music and testimony.
Dennis, with his profound musical skills, Charmaine, with her soulful voice, and Trisha Denise, with her youthful exuberance, form a trio that embodies the spirit of Papuri!. They serve not only as performers but as ministers, using their talents to convey God’s love and message to their audience.
The Papuri! Radio Show: A Daily Source of Inspiration
Airing every Monday to Friday at 4:30 PM on 702 DZAS FEBC Radyo TV - “Agapay ng Sambayanan”, the Papuri! Radio Show has become a staple for many listeners, not just in Mega Manila, but also the rest of our country and abroad. Positioned right after “Inspirations Unlimited,” the show seamlessly continues the flow of inspiration and spiritual nourishment. The Papuri! Radio Show is more than just a music program; it is a platform where life-changing, positive, and encouraging stories are shared.
The “Kwentong Papuri!” segment is particularly beloved by listeners every Wednesday. It provides a space for fans, artists, and composers to share their testimonies and the impact of Papuri! songs on their lives. These stories of transformation and hope resonate deeply with the audience, fostering a sense of community and shared faith.
Engaging with the Audience: Comments, Greetings, and Song Requests
The interactive nature of the Papuri! Radio Show is one of its strengths. Listeners are encouraged to send in their comments, greetings, and song requests, creating a dynamic and engaging broadcast. This interaction not only makes the listeners feel involved but also allows the hosts to address the immediate needs and emotions of their audience.
The show’s ability to adapt and respond to its listeners is a testament to its relevance and impact. Whether it’s a song request that brings comfort in a time of need or a greeting that connects distant friends and family, the Papuri! Radio Show meets its audience where they are, offering a sense of connection and community.
A Network of Hope: The Broader Impact of FEBC Philippines
Beyond the Papuri! Radio Show, FEBC Philippines continues to expand its reach through various programs and platforms. The FEBC PH Stream app is one such innovation, allowing listeners to access content anytime and anywhere. This technological advancement ensures that the message of Christ can reach even more people, breaking geographical barriers.
FEBC’s commitment to “communicating Christ in our world until all have heard” is evident in its diverse range of programs that cater to different demographics and needs. From news and public affairs to specialized religious programming, FEBC Philippines offers a comprehensive suite of content designed to inform, inspire, and transform.
Conclusion: Looking Ahead with Faith
As FEBC Philippines celebrates 76 years of ministry, it stands as a testament to God’s faithfulness and the power of the Gospel. The journey of FEBC, marked by its steadfast mission and innovative approach, continues to inspire and uplift. My Blessed Journey with Papuri! and the Concert Night with Bong & Dang Hermosa

I am incredibly grateful for the amazing experiences I’ve had recently, particularly the concert night with Bong & Dang Hermosa at the LRV Heritage Hall in Balatas Road, Naga City. These events have strengthened my faith and deepened my connection with the Lord, and I’d like to share my journey with you all.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
On the night of July 16, 2024, I attended a concert featuring Bong & Dang Hermosa. It was an evening filled with uplifting music and heartfelt worship, and I couldn’t have been more excited to be there. I was given this opportunity thanks to Ptr. Joey Piano and Ms. Eva Piano, who graciously allowed me to attend. I expressed my gratitude on Facebook with a post that read:
“By God’s grace, special thanks to Ptr Joey Piano & Eva Joey Piano for allowing me para makapanood ng concert with Doc Bong & Ate Dang Hermosa earlier tonight, and hope I’ll looking forward to see you again very soon. Soli Deo Gloria!”

During the concert, I had the pleasure of meeting several notable individuals from the Papuri! community and CARE 104.3 DWAY-FM Legazpi City. I was particularly blessed to see Ptr. Abel Manzanilla, Ms. Melisa Cerio-Manzanilla, and Alvis Ayson. Their presence made the night even more special, and I posted on Facebook:
“Special thank you to our Ptr. Abel Manzanilla, Melisa Cerio-Manzanilla & Alvis Ayson of CARE 104.3 The WAY FM Legazpi City, and I’m really so blessed to see you right here in Naga City during Doc Bong & Dang Hermosa concert earlier tonight. Can’t wait to communicate Christ very soon. Soli Deo Gloria!”
Ptr. Abel Manzanilla reacted to this post on July 23, 2024, which further filled my heart with joy.

The night was indeed a divine appointment. Being there alone, watching the concert, meeting and greeting the artists, and taking selfies with such legendary Papuri! artists as Bong & Dang Hermosa was a profound experience. I shared my joy with another Facebook post:
“This is not an accidental, kasi mag-isa po akong nanood ng concert at nag-meet and greet. What a blessed night indeed, dahil napakasarap talagang magpuri sa Panginoon.
Special shout out to our Doc Bong & Ate Dang Hermosa. Thank you very much, and sa Diyos lang po ang papuri!
Every day I will thank you; I will praise you forever and ever. – Psalm 145:2 GNT”
Following this concert, on July 17, 2024, I tuned into the “Papuri! Radio Show” Wednesday edition with the Campañer family (Dennis Campañer, Charmaine Manalo-Campañer, and Trisha Denise) via 702 DZAS FEBC Radyo TV Mega Manila. I couldn’t help but comment on a post by 702 DZAS - FEBC Radio’s Facebook page, sharing my excitement and gratitude:
“Mapagpalang Miyerkules ng hapon po, Campañer family!
Kitang-kita ko sa mga posts ko sa aking Facebook timeline, this is not an accidental sa biyaya ng Diyos. Mag-isa po akong nanood ng isang concert yesterday (July 16) diyan sa LRV Heritage Hall, Balatas Road, Naga City. Personal kong nag-meet and greet, and then nag-selfie yung dalawang sikat na legendary Papuri! artists sina Doc Bong & Ate Dang Hermosa, dahil napakasarap talagang magpuri sa Panginoon.
Gusto ko pong mag-special shout out, and say hello to our Ptr. Abel & Ms. Melisa Cerio-Manzanilla, and Kuya Alvis Ayson of CARE 104.3 DWAY-FM Legazpi City.
Pa-request po ng kantang “Laban N’yo Ito, Panginoon!” from Papuri! 23 album. Listening right now via online streaming sa Magarao, Camarines Sur. Thanks and God Bless po, mga ka-Papuri!”
Charmaine Manalo-Campañer reacted to my comment, which was incredibly encouraging.
Earlier this afternoon (July 24, 2024), I was blessed to listen to the song I requested, “Laban N’yo Ito, Panginoon!” from the Papuri! 24 album of the same name was released in 2021, during the “Papuri! Radio Show” Wednesday edition. Despite some buffering issues while listening via online streaming, I was overjoyed to hear the familiar voices of the Campañer family. This song, performed by 29 legendary Papuri! artists and written by Arnel de Pano and Rommel & Susan Guevara, truly lifted my spirit.
As an avid fan of Papuri!, I am deeply moved by the life-changing, positive, and encouraging songs that are played, whether on the radio or streaming platforms. The “Papuri! Radio Show,” which airs every Monday to Friday at 4:30 PM on 702 DZAS FEBC Radyo TV Mega Manila, is particularly close to my heart. These songs of praise and worship to God and the nation resonate deeply with me.
Reflecting on all these experiences, I am filled with gratitude and praise to the Lord. Each encounter and every moment of worship through music has strengthened my faith and brought me closer to God. I look forward to more opportunities to praise Him and share His love with others.
Soli Deo Gloria!
