Baby Trickster God Danny

It all started when the Amazons noticed God on their island. Not sure what God or Pantheon left him alone; he didn't seem to be like the rest of their gods.

But it was just as bad; he was a trickster god.

And after finally talking to him, he turned all their clothes pink. They learned he has no idea why he landed here. All Danny remember was Frostbite sending him with the Infimap away to learn new things.

As the priestesses and Hippolyta asked, Queen Hera said he wasn't from them.

Well, quasi, but Hades is too busy to take care of him, so they as Amazons are stuck as babysitters till Winter.

So the Amazons knew the best idea.

They sent the baby prankster to Diana. Let it be her problem.

So.

That was how Diana returned home and had her mother give her a child demigod into her arms and say. "Have fun."

And chaos became Diana's life, but she would not have it any other way.

Pariah Dark was a shard of Hades, so Danny defeated him.

Danny became part of Pariah shard, a lesser God part of Hades.

The Bat-Adoption Papers are literal Magic Contracts

So! In the Deified Batman AU (the AU where the Belief of the peoples of Gotham accidentally Ascended Batman to minor godhood), the Bat Adoption Papers would be a fun concept.

Batman is a God of The Night, Fear, and Protection. Specifically, the protection of Children, which is one of his biggest motivators. Meaning, it's a big part of his Divine Domain.

So when he, a God of Protection and Children, adopts his own Child? It's kind of a big deal.

His Adoption Papers basically become Magical Contracts that claim Dick to him as his own Son, basically turning Dick into a Demigod by the fact that he is the Son of a God.

Then each time Batman adopts a kid, they become a Demigod as well. Maybe after enough time, and after they forge their own Identities, they could become Minor Gods of their own? Idk, fun idea

Why do I bring this up?

Well, when Danny eventually joins the JLA, and runs into Batman, all he sees in a God of the Night, who takes one look at him, and then pulls out a Magical Binding Contract from his Belt.

Needless to say, he books it.

Throughout the years, Danny and Ra's get into fights. Unfortunately for Ra's, Danny's a biter. Unfortunately for Danny, biting immortals are never a good idea. Especially when your own DNA is beyond messed up

Imagine the look on Ra's face when they guy he likes fighting shows up with a baby in hand and says, "congratulations, you're a father"

Repeat it two more times because Danny just doesn't learn

Ohohoho, now this is quite fun. And this could be completely new children, or, this could be the three Al Ghul children. Which if it is? Is hilarious. And hey, Dusan even has Danny's white hair and green eyes!

But seriously I love this. Logically, Danny should learn to not bite, in fact? He knows how to fight, and can do so without biting. He's just also a petty little shit who will go feral when fighting this one asshole [insert relationship here].

Even more hilarious if Danny shows up throughout time too. And it's not like they exactly explain to anyone on the outside of their [insert relationship here], which definitely leads to so many misunderstandings and rumors.

Love the idea if this is even a semi-normal ghost thing. Just, usually the mixing of ecto is done on purpose, and not usually having to be worried about happening via blood. But Danny? Is a halfa, meaning that he is half human. And if he bit anyone else, it would probably have no effect, except for the fact that the human mouth carries quite a bit of bacteria and en ecto-contaminated one more so. So for anyone else, biting is an actual good option, but Ras? Also ecto-contaminated via Lazarus Pit.

Which is a different type of ectoplasm, like comparing saltwater to freshwater, but is still ectoplasm. If anyone else bit anyone else, it wouldn't happen. But no, Danny just has to have the habit of biting his immortal sparring asshole of a rival-buddy. And said buddy better be fine with co-parenting otherwise he's taking child support.

Legacy of Chronos: Daughter of the Unknown God

Through her travels around the world/Infinite Realms, Ellie stumbles on Camp Halfblood and is mistaken for a demigod. She is determined to be a legacy of Cronus (Clockwork) and the child of an unknown god with a DP symbol (Danny).

Cue everyone mistaking Chronos for Kronos and thinking that the mystery god is a child of Kronos born sometime while he was in Tartarus. This misunderstanding is not helped by the fact that the Underworld is part of the Infinite Realms and portals to the Ghost Zone where often mistaken for portals to Tartarus.

Now Zeus is freaking out and wants to use Ellie as leverage against her father who obviously wants to take over Olympus. Percy/Thalia/Nico/Lester/whoever is now trying to keep Ellie out of Zeus’s paranoid clutches and get her back to Tartarus before her father goes looking for her.

(Ellie is so happy she made new friends, they’re even going to take her on a road trip to LA. Sure they seemed really nervous when she mentioned Danny would come looking for her if she didn’t check in soon, how was she supposed to know Hellhounds are cellphones anyway)

CHAPTER 1

Martian Manhunter always felt an strong and uncanny thelepatic connection to his allies and family. More-so their emotions; those that are unconsciously too loud to him, he blocks them to not hurt them involuntarily. So it wasn’t a surprise when he felt a subtle spark of content and joy coming from the small child-like spirit resting in her colleague arms.

“The small tuttelage is waking up” John monotonesly says as he floats closer to Dianna, who instead changes her embrace and slowly cradles the white strands of hair out of his face. 

The rest of the members surround the amazonian in a small murmur, the small spirit slowly blinks awake, his green luminous eyes slowly scan and roam around the group, as to ponder who are they. But seeing to many people surrounding him makes him panic; whimpering in reaction, a soft thing, barely even a noise. His left hand grips harder onto her, but his right hand claws at his own abdomen, as if to cut himself off. As if to it hurt. As if he knows what would happen if he moved. As if he knew something wasn’t allowed to be.

“Don’t”  Dianna gently pries his hand away, achingly, painfully, finger by finger and starts caressing his hair making him relax a bit. The small one whimpers, looking over to Dianna in worry, John understands these feelings. The fear and uncertainty is clear in his eyes, so he telepathically sends the small spirit a warm welcome and tells him that he’s safe and no longer in danger. To not fear them. As they will protect him.

“Martian!” exclaims the spirit in wonder awe, as he looks for him, the small child shines when he founds him, his face glows in a mix of freckles that shine a luminescent glow.

“Martian!” It exclaimed again, in broken up english. The small child tried to sit up but ends up slipping down, huffing tiredly in the arms of the amazonian “tired” it murmured. A small pout, John pities the small sprit. Putting his hand in a friendly manner that has the kid meeting with his own softly speaks.

“Friend?” 

“Yes, friend” John clarifies.

Dianna smiles at his friend, adjusting herself, letting Danny lay his head on her chest, gaining his attention back.

“All of us are friends, you are to be safe here with us” says the Amazonian, rubbing a hand up and down his back as she watches him over. 

John already starts talking to the small sprite as if they were long time friends. Superman and the Flash coming closer as to talk to the small sprite as well. She begins to sing a lullaby, a lilting of Themyscira old stories and myth, just for him. As to welcome him.

‘She’s safe and nice’  Danny wonders ‘she’s mom, she’s safe and protection, am I loved? Loved and cared?’ 

The small child hums at the rhythm. His core barely purring at it. A soft hum. A welcoming. A warm embrace, Home. 

‘I’m at home, safe and loved and ProtectedPROTECTEDsafe!Home…’

This stands to reason that the other gods and goddesses from mythologies and myths are also really old and powerful ghost. Like the Ancients

Those that were the children of the gods and mortals were called demigods; half human, half god

Danny is half human, half ghost

Hey folks. If you're wondering where I've been, the answer is that I was mostly just dealing with a case of burnout and general lack of motivation.

However, I have managed to finish a Danny Phantom fic that has been posted to my ao3, and that I will also post here in a bit. It's my first Bad Things Happen Bingo fic, so that's cool.

For all my Demigod in Gotham readers, I think I've got a decent plan for the second half of the next installment that I'm now starting to work on again. It might take a bit, but I'm making progress.

Danny: So, is this an Emergency or not?

Operator: This is probably a job for the "Emergency but not Quite" Call Line, I'll transfer you.

Danny: Wow, is this a common occurrence or something?

Operator: Oh like you wouldn't believe. There was this one kid who found out that his Alien Space Rock Mom was actually one of the 4 God Emperors of an Alien Empire, and was thus the new 4th God Emperor by inheriting her powers. THAT was a fun situation to detailed, let me tell you.

Danny: Oh, maybe I could ask him-

Operator: Then there was the Latina Girl who wound up in another Dimension of Demon's and Witches. She got adopted as a big sister by like 2 seperate Child Gods, and then died and resurrected as a Demigod and biological sister of one of those child gods, which had some political ramifications I can tell you, especially after she had just finished helping overthrow the previous Emperor.

Danny: Oh, wow...

Operator: There was also that Ten kid, who could turn into different alien species. He actually ended up seducing the Princesses of like, 3 Seperate Alien Empires and needed help with sorting out his Love Life before it ended up causing an Intergalactic War. Nice kid though.

Danny: Maybe it's not as serious as I thought...

Operator: Nope, your problems are important, don't discount them. Patching you through now.

"Justice Leage not Emergency line, with who im speking?"

"Hu... yea.... ok.. ummm 1st- does sudenly becoming the king on another dimension, plus is beguing a teen vigilante whos ID got compromised by all the town, counts as a not Emergecy or a True Emergency? Oh! And there is this gob org. That is you know, doing genoside and experiments on those that are a little ghostly ... does that counts as a not emergency ?"

The line got quiet for a moment before the recepcionist put the kid trow the EMERGENCY BUT NOT QUITE JL line.

Danny blinked at the small children Ellie was holding the hand of, looking quite proud of herself. The small children- between ten and twelve so somewhere similar to Ellie’s age- who both practically stank of magic and Gods. 

He took a deep breath, pinching the bridge of his nose even as Dan cackled while opening the door more to let them inside. “Alright, what’s your name, kids?”

“B-billy…um, Billy Batson...” “‘m Percy! Percy Jackson.” 

“Nice to meet you two- any idea where in your family you have a god or two, because one of you definitely smells like Zeus and I’m pretty sure Poseidon and I am not dealing with either of my half-brothers.”

Ok but consider: all three have 2 (two) hero identities each. So Amity has 7 (seven) heroes. A plant based demigodes (from undergrowth), a witch, an ancient pharaoh, a tecnopath, a ghost, a speedster and an enhanced human.

Speedster Danny?

I am here to gift another idea.

The portal incident did more than make Danny a halfa. It made him a speedster. Only Stipulation? He can only use the speed force as a human. Causing him to have two secret hero identities. Phantom and Green Spector (the name is a work in progress ideas are appreciated) Somehow someway the Flash and by extension the Justice league find out there is a new speedster.

Now when the Justice League go to Amity and start asking about Green Spector the whole town seems to think he is a ghost, like their other local hero Phantom. Despite never been seen together they have hinted at working with one another.

Anyway through some good old Detective work the figure out one of Danny’s identities.

When they go to confront Danny about it,

Clark “We know your secret Identity. ”

Danny: “Which one?”

Clark: “What?”

Danny: “…What?”

Clark: …”how many Secret identities do you have?”

Danny: “Wouldn’t you like to know weather boy.”

ANYWAY! It would be a lot of fun to play with his human side being a hero too. He can go places and do things that he can’t always do as a ghost. The people of amity may think he’s a ghost but that’s only because he doesn’t stay long enough to show he is human. (Also his lighting color being that neon green color)

So much you can do with Vlad, The GIW, Dani, and Val. Like imagine Val knows Danny is Green Spector and wants his help to take down Phantom. Vlad not know Danny is GS. Dani unlocking the speed force. The GIW Collectively losing their minds trying to figure out WHAT GS is. He sets off ghost sensors and is hurt by ghost weapons but he is NOT a ghost.

"My cousin," Wonder Woman nods at Danny during their meeting, once everyone gathered.

Flash, confused, asks. "From... your mother's side?"

Sharing an amused glance, WW shakes her head. "No, from my father's side. Danny is a son of Hades."

"Another demigod then." Batman states and they nod on that.

Why yes, when Danny met Wonder Woman in a dire situation, desperate to get away, he jumped right along her idea.

The idea of faking his own origin, in a way to explain the half death-ness without raising the suspicion of the bat (or anyone for the matter), pretending to be a son of hades.

Is this absolutely batshit insane trying to trick the god of the unworld? Yeah! He's having fun.

Since Captain Marvel is quite personable and his champion of magic status makes him pretty close to being a demigod, the Justice League decide to send him to try to communicate with the new burgeoning proto-Ancient they’ve heard about and make sure they’re not a threat.

And upon their meeting, Danny and Billy instantly clock each other as fellow teens who have been given too much power, striking up a friendship.

So when they’re done chatting, Marvel returns and tells the League that Danny is nice.

Which the League promptly responds to like “who the hell is Danny?” until Marvel clarifies that he means the Ancient.

Which… is a bit confusing/concerning to them. The proto-Ancient just told Marvel his real name on first meeting?? What is going on? Did Marvel somehow befriend the godling in one meeting? Is one of them trying to mentor the other on their role? Wait, the Ancient is presumably immortal too, like Captain Marvel is assumed to be. So could they (gods forbid) have been… courting?

They have absolutely no idea, and are a bit too nervous to bring it up.

Instead of Danny being Constantine's I know a guy solution, Danny is Constantine's call centre solution.

Like John calls up Danny and gives a description of the problem and within the hour John now has a new phone number or ritual to shortcut his way to the fastest expert.

This is how Tucker Foley finds himself being yanked by his very mortal soul into a Justice League meeting where apparently his expertise on Egyptian Gods and their interference with the mortal world was recommended by the Ghost King.

Unfortunately he does know how to help and now Wonder Woman is trying to convince him that as a "fellow demigod" she has all the knowledge he could want to better himself and his baby God needs.

Tucker Foley had been convinced he was fully mortal up till an hour ago.

Steph was freaking out. She was pregnant! She had a month long relationship with a guy, they slept together (multiple times), and now she was pregnant.

How long should she keep this from her (adopted))family. They all were detectives but that was usually focused on a case and not her. There was no use hiding this from Alfred or Cass. They would see through her in an instant. Luckily the rest of the family was focused on their own lives, with B being pulled into a JL meeting lead by Constantine. Something about a newly conseived demigod or something she never listens to Constantine, barely anyone does.

She was in the middle of planning her 9 months of pregnancy and lying, when suddenly Batman and Constantine magically teleport into her apartment. " According to the ritual This is the girl whose is pregnant with the demigod" Constantine states while being completly ignored by the two. Steph is staring at Batman who is slightly twitching. "Well shit" she groans.

Another magical ritual later and her previous... Boyfriend? Fling? Her month long, one night stand is standing there in a magic circle. She rushes to speak before her family can, "Danny you jerk! You got me pregnant and didn't even tell me you were a god?!?"
