i can just see myself rocking back up to my finnish uni after being jobless in germany to finish up my finnish master's degree (a quirk in the finnish system means i can go do one whenever without applying, its complicated) but instead of writing on something relevant or employable or even something that a single professor at the uni cares about, i will insist on doing shit like "discourses on homosexuality in early finnish foreign policy. 1907-1910" or "celebrity culture and austrian military masculinities in the suspiciously specific time period of 1878 to 1889"
#my finnish degree would just be so i can get a job there (which i dont want but might have to do if i'm jobless in germany too long) so i#could just write the thesis on whatever xDD at that point i would probably have given up on a serious academic career so i could just do rp

fyi German political discourse on Twitter is currently that it's physically impossible for human newborns to die of hypothermia as long as air temperatures are above the freezing point of water
also the German ambassador to Israel was dogpiled, threatened and called an antisemitic terrorism supporter by all the influential German (not!! Jewish!!!) Netanyahu stan accounts for veeery carefully suggesting "uhm surely not ALL Palestinians are ALWAYS liars, no...? maybe...?"
merry christmas :')
#germany#german#gaza genocide#germany is not only complicit it is very enthusiastically participating#hell country full of nazis#these are the non jewish!! germans the country accepts as the ONLY voice for jewish people while german jewish people get arrested#that should scare you#NONE of the 'official officers to deal with antisemitism' in germany are jewish#and they pretend to speak for all german jewish people... by questioning the FACT that a newborn can't survive on the ground in 8 degrees c#hell country#nazi country#scared of this country#german bullshit#death of children#harm to children#murder of children#german politics

Can I have a hug
#side effect of slowly getting better is I now have to work out how to have a life after when it feels like I ruined everything#I know I didn’t and my illness would’ve done this eventually but it feels like it cause my degree is worthless now#can’t do any of the jobs that I was going to do anymore#can’t do most entry jobs#can’t do retail or food service or most peoples first jobs#don’t really have irl friends anymore#I’m just. ugh.#my parents said they’d pay for me to go to college again so I can get a degree that works for remote jobs with higher pay than my original#field. which isn’t hard bc that pay was gonna be 20k a year for like six years lmao#and I did stumble across some resources for which doctors can treat my illnesses in Europe so I could try to use it as a way to finally#fucking leave this country but idek how I’d go about getting accepted to a university anywhere if I already have a degree that just doesn’t#work for me anymore#and I’m sad that I can’t do the career I poured my soul into for so long#and I miss my friends and feeling confident#I’m glad I’m getting healthier enough to think about after but I’m terrified and exhausted just thinking about working out how to find what#comes next and what’s possible#and I’m just really really sad#and I’m scared of getting too hopeful about anything#I really miss Austria and people have said I’d really like Germany and I’d love to move but I’m scared I’ll research and find nothing

I’m a woman. I was quite sedentary but got in a regular walking habit over the past year and I absolutely believe it’s helped me spiritually. I wasn’t trying to lose weight or build muscle or anything—and I haven’t. I look exactly like I did before. I just feel more human.
#back when I was walking every morning in Germany#it felt like even though so much of my life was not gucci… I was at least living it to the fullest#and there were other factors involved in that of course#but it was just different#even when the other factors were at play but I’d stopped walking#I think I was too young to identify how#which is why I want to walk every morning again as an adult and see what happens#mobile#x#I will say focusing on my breathing so as to activate the vagus nerve has enabled me TO A DEGREE to relax again#even though I’m not exerting myself I am focusing physically#the days seem to go slower when I am focusing on breathing well

#one of the biggest problem about human civilization is that it is impossible to pass on institutional knowledge and it’s very very easy to#forget history as well as rewriting history or overwhelming noise or polluted history#we have already forgotten that germany was a democratic republic before rise of Hitler#taiwantalk#so was Soviet Union so was france so was Italy so was china#and to some degree so was parliamentary Japan#or Iran or Iraq….#we hate to admit it but they were simply failed republics.
