Defender 90 ‘Prototype X,’ 2023, by Chelsea Truck Company. The latest take on the short wheelbase Land Rover is based on the 400bhp Defender 90 P400 X-Dynamic. It showcases CTC's latest experimental designs using wide-body arches and a carbon fibre vented bonnet. Other feature include a V-shaped roof spoiler, twin LED-lit roof shield, a grille mask and retro-styled front bumper valance.

15/04/2023: Again!

Dammit, i take a strong disliking to redoing job's i had completed previously. Albeit many years ago, i thought it would least last longer than this. 1. Take care when removing the hinge pins. Note: They should just slide out, if they don't... well reference a post from 07/05/2020 titled 'Unhinged' and wish you the best. 2. Pivot Vent from inside the cab to give better access. 3. Remove x2 M5 x 12mm screws (per vent) 4. To remove the seals you can either be caveman and just rip it off or you can use the following tip - Soak the seal in WD40 and leave to soak. 5. Remove seal and ensure no residue of the WD40 is left, brake cleaner does work obviously but be warned it's an aggressive degreaser. 6. Carefully install JAE000030 seal and to ensure satisfactory installation, flip the vent and evenly distribute weight across the vent. You can use a book or something like that and this will help good adherence. 7. With a completely adhered seal to vent you can now do steps 3 > 1. I did take the opportunity to replace the fastening screws with A4 grade stainless steel from ACCU with some copper grease to avoid any mating corrosion with the vent thread.

Top tip: Be patient and take care as you can easily damage paintwork.
