hey everyone! I'm finally back from my hiatus! to apologise for my inactivity, I made these eyes for you guys! :D honestly, I made these eyes cause I wanted something new and I couldn't find any eyes I liked that were dark enough for my darkskin sims, so I just made my own!

Digi's July2020 Eyes 3 Defaults

I still really love these eyes by Digi. I defaulted these months ago, but I'm only now releasing them for posterity. The colours referenced in the post refers to custom eyes in the original set.

Dark Brown: Colour 44

Light Blue: Mix between colours 19 and 20

Dark Blue: Darkened version of colour 21

Grey: Colour 5

Green: More saturated colour 29

Alien: Colour 8 with a black sclera

But wait, there's more !

I also included a vampire default with four options. Your vampires won't change their skintone to be that blue-gray and will only get new eyes. SELECT ONE !!

Vampirism: Colour 47 (Traditional)

Porphyric Hemophilia: Colour 70 hue-shifted to red (Inspired by Oblivion)

Sanguinare Vampiris: Mix between colours 48 and 49 with a dark grey sclera (Inspired by Skyrim)

Dhaunayne Aundae: Colour 69 without iris (Inspired by Morrowind)

Noxiphilic Sanguivoria: Colour 2 with a bloodshot sclera (Inspired by Stage 4 Vampirism in ESO; my personal favourite)

Escand's Oh My Eyes Remake by Moonskin93

OK, this is my first download of my EA-sized, reflection-free default eye conversions for TS3. The first thing I learned is that I have no idea how to take pics of eyes. These are from CAS, and the reflection is EA's 😅.

Moonskin93 did some lovely resizing/rework of the eyes of other creators, and I've removed painted catchlights from them, so that makes them third-generation work. These are enough changed from Escand's original that I'm toying with enlarging those too and seeing how they work.

Disclaimer: Moonskin's preferred size turns out out to be slightly smaller than EA default, but they're close enough that I originally didn't notice. They work fine with supernatural glow to my taste -- I think the glow is a pixel or two larger than the eyes, but it mostly enhances the supernatural look. I find the more "realistic" sized eyes to be too uncanny valley for me, and these are large enough to avoid it.

The original is Escand's Oh My Eyes.

Melanie Eyes V1 - Default Replacement Eyes

Hi ;w; I really wanted to make eyes inspired by the way I draw my character Melanie’s eyes, but I didn’t do a great job. Still, I think that some of these swatches are still pretty usable so here you go!

They’re not great quality, I should’ve put more time into them, but I just really wanted to try this ;w; I’ll be using these eyes for a while so if you see them in my posts this is where they’re from!

Also I am sorry if this is similar to anyone’s eyes that already exist, this is just something i made on the fly and decided to share! I’d love to make occult versions too but I won’t be doing that today, I’m sorry!

My default eyes are the Soulmate Eyes by @someone-elsa (specifically the Naturals 2 version). I gave them a quick update for the infants patch by following this tutorial. Grab them here.

Baldurs Gate 3xSims 4

Hi all I've just made a mod for the sims 4 that adds the Baldur's Gate 3 eyes to the game. So far I have 12 colours. 4 Brown, 4 Green, 4 Blue.

I'd recommend using Pyxis "In Our Talons" Eye highlights 17 and 18. I have them uploaded on The Sims Resource, Nexus, and Patreon

If you get them on patreon give me a comment, its appreciated! I'm working on more of the colours, Including NPC eyes like Astarion, Shadowheart, Karlach, and Gale's eyes as well as more Tav colours and creature colours.

Astarion's eyes are up sometime in the next few hours.

Sclera has been edited to fit this shape.

All original colours have been replaced.

Animation friendly, no black shadows or caruncle (fleshy bits).

Perfect for a semi-realistic style of play.

Normal and alien defaults. Did not want to include other defaults because they tend to show up heavily on townies and newly made sims :/

Optional file included to replace dark blue with hazel.

Two download versions, one with digi's genetics system where unusual colours are super dominant and not townified, or my version where every colour has a genetic number of one because I play with an equal genes mod and also not townified. In the future, I'll consider townifying them but tbh I'm sick of looking at SimPE ._.

General WCIF if anyone knows....

I like playing around with default replacement eyes, but I really don’t like having fixed catchlights painted onto the eye. The game already handles reflections dynamically, and I don’t dig having reflections drawn onto the eye that have nothing to do with the lighting conditions.

Other than a few sets from early in the game and simboquet’s Cerberus default eyes, I haven’t found many. I tend to use Glittering Blackness in a lot of games, and the Samples in their wacky berry elf world use Skye Eyes.

At any rate, I’m curious to know if anyone uses any eye defaults without painted-on catchlights. I’ve browsed through the stuff on MTS, but the rest of the CC world is vast ;-).
