I am putting forth:
Odo has a catchphrase that we never see onscreen or read once in beta, but it exists nonetheless. He only says it in the privacy of the security office, and the moments he is about to regenerate in the bucket:
"It's goo time"

Stowaway
Chapter 1: First Clue
(posted on Ao3 under by my Tumblr name ToeBeansMcgee
Fandom: Star Trek: Deep Space Nine Rating: Mature  Warnings: No Archive Warnings Apply  Relationships: Captain Solok (Star Trek)/Original Female Character(s)  Characters: Captain Solok (Star Trek), Original Female Character(s), random crewmen, Chief of security  Additional Tags: stowaway, cat and mouse game, human creativity unnerving a stuffy vulcan, Mind melds, Surak give me strength, maybe if I meditate the horniness away I won't feel it, human sarcasm is confusing, but also illogically endearing, Cunning, Clever, Reluctant Admiration, Hiding in vents, messin up cameras, human x alien, human/alien - Freeform, Human/Vulcan, human female OC/Solok, Romance, Hurt/Comfort, Enemies to Lovers  Summary:
Getting chucked out into a distant point in unknown space during a brutal war with the Dominion would have been bad enough, but now there was a new problem. Strange little happenings on the T'Kumbra alert security and Capt. Solok of a stowaway - an undoubtedly human stowaway. Eager to indulge his need to prove Vulcan supremacy, Solok starts a game of cat-and-mouse fully expecting to trap this intruder in his claws. He doesn't realize until it's too late that he may not be the cat - he may have let himself become the mouse.

I, like Jadzia Dax, am very attracted to the Ferengi. These are unique humanoids. Funny, controversial and very wise in its own way. I especially like Quark :) Here's some more Ferengi wisdom. The Ferengi Rules of Acquisition are a goldmine (pun intended) of quirky and sometimes contradictory business wisdom. Here are some more gems to delve into:
Ferengi Gems on Negotiation and Profit:
Rule 26: Never enter a negotiation honestly. This emphasizes the Ferengi view of negotiation as a battle of wits, where deception is a key tool. Rule 35: Strike while the iron is hot (but make sure it's not someone else's anvil). This rule encourages capitalizing on opportunities but also warns against stealing from others (too blatantly). Rule 48: The bigger the smile, the sharper the knife. This highlights the Ferengi view of friendliness as a mask for potentially cutthroat business dealings. Rule 109: There's nothing wrong with a little harmless bribery. This rule seems self-explanatory, reflecting the Ferengi's willingness to bend rules for profit. Ferengi Sayings on Risk and Opportunity:
Rule 111: It never hurts to suck up to the boss. This emphasizes the importance of building influence and navigating office politics. Rule 190: Opportunity plus instinct equals profit. This rule highlights the Ferengi belief in a combination of calculated risk-taking and intuition for achieving success. Rule 212: Never take more than you can carry. Except when you can get away with it. This seemingly contradictory rule reflects the Ferengi's balancing act between ambition and caution. Ferengi Wisdom on Life and Society (Ferengi-Style):
Rule 168: A Ferengi without lobes is like a nugget without Latinum; worthless. Lobes refer to the earlobes that Ferengi males enlarge surgically, signifying their status and wealth. Rule 198: Employees are the rungs on the ladder of success. Don't hesitate to step on them. But try not to break them, you might need them again someday. This cynical rule highlights the Ferengi view of employees as expendable resources. Rule 263: Never confuse generosity with weakness. This implies that Ferengi acts of "generosity" are often calculated and have ulterior motives. Remember, these Rules of Acquisition are meant to be a satirical look at capitalism and greed. While some Ferengi might strictly adhere to them, others are more flexible in their application. The contradictions and humor within these rules are part of what makes the Ferengi such a fascinating race in Star Trek.

I’ve been watching Battlestar Galactica and thought I recognised Nina Visitor ( @visitornana ) voice. So distinctive. Would love to see more of her in future Star Trek. @startrek @paramountplusuk #StarTrek #NinaVisitor #DS9 #DeepSpaceNine #DeepSpace9 #StarTrekUniverse #LLAP #LiveLongAndProsper #Bajor #Bajoran #BattlestarGalactica #BSG #Cylon #Cylons ##SkinJobs #Toasters #Toster #Frak #FrakingToaster https://www.instagram.com/p/ClpNOgQIzpF/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Happy #StarTrekDay. I forgot to prepare anything special, and I don’t really have the time to, so here’s a bunch I made previously but decided not to post for varying reasons. Including ones for Discovery & Picard (which I normally wouldn’t do as they don’t have episode title cards, so it’s less fun to pretend I have unaired title cards*), Lower Decks (which I normally wouldn’t do, since its already a self-aware comedy so making joke title cards isn’t as comically juxtaposing) and the still-upcoming Star Trek: Strange New Worlds and Star Trek: Prodigy. Looking forward to the panels and trailers today! (Actually, I’m in the UK, so won’t be able to see any of those until tomorrow, but never mind!)
Disclaimer: This is a fan-made parody account and is in no way representative of actual unproduced episodes of Star Trek.
*Here’s hoping Strange New Worlds has title cards, because it would be fun to muck around at do title cards for that one!
P.S. Wanted to be thorough and have # tags for all conceivable series titles and abbreviations, but it turns out Tumblr only lets you have 30 tags per post (and apparently only the first 20 work??) good times.  🙃

The Ferengi in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine are guided by a vast collection of rules known as the Rules of Acquisition. There are over 285 of these rules, and they form the core of Ferengi business practices and social life.
While acquiring a complete list of all 285 rules might be difficult, here are some of the most well-known examples that showcase the Ferengi philosophy:
Rules Focused on Acquisition: Rule 1: A Ferengi without profit is no Ferengi at all. Rule 3: Never pass up a good opportunity to make a profit. Rule 11: Women and latinum are never enough. (Latinum being the Ferengi form of currency) Rule 21: Never steal from a Ferengi unless you're sure you can get away with it. Rules Highlighting Ferengi Cunning: Rule 4: War is good for business. Rule 10: Dignity is expensive. If you can't afford it, fake it. Rule 17: A lie is only a lie if someone catches you. Rule 18: Never trust a Ferengi. (This one is meant to be a deception to make outsiders trust them more) Rules Related to Ferengi Society: Rule 5: A wife is a luxury. A good accountant is essential. Rule 6: Never have sex with a female humanoid without paying for it. Rule 9: Employees are the rungs on the ladder of success. Don't hesitate to step on them. Rule 19: Customer service is for fools. Profit is its own reward. It's important to note that the Ferengi Rules of Acquisition are often seen as greedy, exploitative, and even sexist from an outside perspective. However, they offer a fascinating glimpse into the Ferengi culture's obsession with wealth and social hierarchy.
Here are some additional points to consider:
The Grand Nagus: The Ferengi leader, known as the Grand Nagus, has the authority to amend or abolish existing Rules of Acquisition under exceptional circumstances. Humor and Social Commentary: The portrayal of the Ferengi in Deep Space Nine is often humorous, but it also serves as a social commentary on capitalism, greed, and exploitation.
