But I am here, alive and healthy and able to be the person I am and do the work I do because of Sex Work I have done; and Sex Workers in my life who helped me out and took care of me when I most needed support in my life and my transition. And right now Sex Workers are among the hardest hit by this pandemic. There is so little support for sex workers who are struggling just to stay alive, put food on their tables and pay the rent. Sex Work is WORK. Taking care of the health and well-being of sex workers is a Human Rights Issue. Fighting for the legitimacy of sex work and destigmatizing sex workers, is a Workers Rights Issue.
